Mits said...

yes, Lynn saw her, knew she was going to be on , had gotten and email from my cam boss yesterday

Costume Lady said...

OK, Lynn..not the 20th. Going to try to accomodate everyone:) Even if we have to go in May, we want everyone who wants to go to be able to!

hedgie said...

Got kicked out of the blog for awhile...glad I could get back on!
It took a while.
Wanda, I can try to change my apptmt. if the 20th is what works for others.
Deb, thanks for update on the "missing"--sure hope no rescuers were hurt in the process of looking for the idiots.

hedgie said...

Well, that hour brought lots of tears, but I can't beleive that they didn't let the "nurses" who had been there since the beginning have a chance to talk!

Mits said...

well I have never liked the addition of Angela Basset, and to have her talk like she knew what was going on...ridiculous

hedgie said...

Mits, that's neat---does she still work with you? Her bio said she was an actress and playwright, I think.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Haven't had time to Comment on new LIVE w/ SOUND!!!!
Thx to all who made this possible!

So busy at work, couldn't get near a 'puter & time off dealing w/sad family issues. Visited BIL again today--he's so lucid & we had great conversations for over an hour.Shame the body is giving out. They will do hospice care at home.
It's in God's hands, I guess.

Hope to check other cams in AM. Understand CO has 3!! Amazing they came thru all that snowstorm.
Need a late din din or snack---back atcha later....☺

Loretta, Hospice is wonderful. They took care of my Dad the last week of his life in the Nursing Home. They were so comforting to us...they were like a Band of Angels.

Hi, I just opened this stuff again, and I was reading the tracking report on Nethy.......not good.

They seem to think she is dead, but since the signal is coming from a place on a good sized river in West Africa, and since she's been on waterways for months, I think there's at least a 50% chance that her transmitter has come off.

Hi all! I am up at my daughters, babysitting. Boys are asleep, Jack is watching hockey.

We will never know about Nethy. Let's just believe that the transmitter fell off of her. She is still flying free.

Loretta, prayers are with you, your family and BIL. After our scare with Dan last week, I can really feel for you.

Tomorrow we are going to Canton to see Dan and Sharon. Sharon and I will shop while Jack keeps Dan company. He came home from the hospital yesterday. The doctors and hospital did a great job taking care of him.

hedgie said...

Okay, it's done...rather anticlimactic...adieu, farewell, aloha, etc.! May it rest in peace.

hedgie said...

Loretta, sorry about your BIL. Prayers for no suffering.
Hoping that Nethy just lost that transmitter, and that she is winging free.

Mits said...

sure was, Lynn, used some scenes and dialogue from the 1st episode, think I started not loving it as much after Dr. Greene left

Have you read the two Channel Island reports for this week?? Good news and bad..some pairs have not nested as expected this year yet, and a couple of nests with eggs have failed. Seal Rock has two eggs, one has hatched and one is overdue. .....Well you read it. It's not all bad.

Here's the link.

Lolly, as difficult as it must be toget ill and need surgery when away from home, sure sounds like Dan was in a right place at a right time. And, of course, having the RV home-away-from-home helps....sure beats a hotel!! Glad he's doing well. Let him know that the momsters' prayers go on!

Yes, Belle is preening her wing feathers. I wonder if they're expecting rain or something tonight.

I'm quite sure there is a Killdeer nest in a gravelly area near the apartment..when I was coming home it hopped up and did its broken wing act!
I will have to take a walking tour and see if I can view it from a safe distance.

Grandson's 3rd grade class had a hatchling today, a Painted Lady Butterfly, which they are going to release Friday....keep your eyes open for it, it might fly your way folks.

Better hit the pillows, work time comes mighty early Friday.

Peace, Love and Prayers, and special comfort prayers for Loretta's family during this final state of illness for brother-in-law Perry...

(read the update on the missing campers in NE, Deb...comforting and troubling at the same time.)

Well, the ER era is over. Nice to see the "reunion" tonight. I liked it better when most of those people were there.
Lolly, glad to hear your BIL is doing OK!
You're probably gone, Jim, but thx for all the West coast news & I'm hoping Nethy did make it. She seemed to be the most active at last summer's end.
I just remembered that I saw a duck in the pond at farmhouse office yesterday that I had never seen before. I got some pics & it's a ring-necked duck.Probably going home in Canada or N US. Will try to dwnld camera soon. & have pic of TWO ospreys on our new platform at Park who have added sticks!
Night all...zzzzzz ☺

deb said...

I am off to bed, too. Night, everyone. Prayers to all.

magpie said...

Whoo Boy, Rain hit the nest last night and Belle was doing a lot of tenting....seems to be more settled now, but did I see the compound word "thunderstorms" in the Nest Forecast our Weather Lady posted yesterday...?

Hope it is a Good day for everyone, and please throw on a little Red for the Military if you have anything...

My grateful thanks to all our military men and women who are working to protect our freedoms.

xo ♥

magpie said...

With the wind sounds, it almost sounds like thunder NOW, but it isn't.

Two Hooded Crows at Finney's nest.

magpie said...

Well, the Hooded Crows left, but check out the beautiful green fuzzy wuzz in the nest...wonder who is staking the claim....?

When you open up the Cam Daily page (where we get our New Thread alerts from Steve) if you go underneath the Eagle picture of Deb's - the Live Cam Feed link takes you directly to the new site.

The web address is also showing now if you click on the Bobble heads or the Live Video on the Main FWS page...just for your info, so Steve updated that as he said he needed to do...

Checking and signing off...

See you all much much later...
