Oh, got the live feed from PA back! Breakfast is over, nap time now. They were using the egg as a pillow earlier this morning, but it's now been pushed to the end of the chicks.
I get to enjoy the wonderful "early group" due to a rough night. Sure I'll be taking a panda nap today.
It is very windy in our nest. You can see the trees below being blown back and forth.

Yes I did, Ceil! I'm hoping. I read what Helen posted yesterday, did not go to the site. I'll take her word for it. Wouldn't that be cool to have a new panda cub? I never could watch Tai, and now I haven't seen ZZ in don't know how long! Always showing Gao Gao or Su Lin! Beautiful pandas too, but I want to see the baby!

Food our nest
Tose little squirmers in PA just cannot get settled. They get comfy for a second, then one wants to move again, so they all have to move. No wonder mom's standing elsewhere, she's probably trying to get some sleep.

Hi folks, the live feed issues are related to our Comcast cable modem. John has been struggling with them to get this resolved.
Just watched the latest feeding. We have one little one who is definitely a food thief. I saw him grab food from another eaglet TWICE and run with it. And he kept it too.

Thanks for the info, Helen. I'm so glad you can get there to watch the nest, now! Both are in the 2nd Finland nest, and have been for a while. I see our PA egg has finally be pushed out of the circle of fluffy chicks. Guess mom will remove it soon, poor thing. Those chicks cannot get settled for more than 2 seconds, they're a hoot to watch.

Kids got settled for 3 whole seconds, and here comes mom with food. They'll wake up soon. Well, they did, and they're eating! One chick has food hanging out of his mouth, but still has his mouth open, that's too cute! Oh, not for the squeemish!
I've never watched the feeding from start to finish, and mom feeds all babies equally. When they get full it's like a switch, off, and they all 4 go down at one time. Mom just pulled a bite, and all 4 heads went down at the same time. she held the bite and looked from one to the other, then she ate it. But then all 4 heads came right back up, and she's feeding them again.

What a hoot, all kids are full again, so mom finished eating. Then she went and got the piece that was hanging out of the one chick's mouth. Adorable. She's still cleaning leftovers off them that spilled in the feeding frenzy.
Hello everybody. I am here. Been a busy week with end of semester Andrew's performances and trying to work and fighting computer problems. Health is getting better and I promise not to disappear again without letting you know where I am! :)

I have been watching the nest whenever I can get a cam up though.
And Normabyrd, Bill Clinton is going to be at Concord University tonight at 8. Probably will not go though I do like him. I have been to Concord 3 days already this week and I don't really have what it takes to go back.

The ospreys haven’t had much drama or activity to deal with apart from the odd intruder on the 2 May and routine incubation.
It’s May now and it’s almost as if someone’s flipped a switch for the weather! After a cold, wet April we are now enjoying fantastic warm sunshine: perfect fishing weather! The male seems to be bringing in more fish which is a good sign. He’ll have to bring in more food soon enough for when the chicks hatch! Of course the calmer surface of the loch makes it much easier to see his prey so fishing will be easier at mornings and evenings!
With all this great weather we have noticed our poor male panting while sitting on the eggs, just a little bit too warm; does he maybe think he’s back in Africa? It is probably a bit of a shock to the system after the cold April.
We are now over halfway through the incubation and the centre is beginning to buzz with the possibility of the first chick hatching within the next couple of weeks. Of course… in this weather, it could be earlier!
Just back from having breakfast on the patio! Now I am going back to start the BIG job of cleaning the patio. Great day for it, temperature is right and the humidity is down.
So, off to work. Keep a good eye on the nests! BBL

Oh, my sister told me the post office is raising first class stamp rates again, on Monday, 12 May. Going up to 42 cents. Gonna see how many "forever" stamps I can get tonight at the post office. Think that rate is still 41 cents. A penny, but over time and many raises will save money. So get your forever stamps by Monday.

Hi Jim you still around here?
Feeding time at our nest. Don't know where everyone is. Boy it is loud during feeding time. All of a sudden they stopped making noise and look out of nest towards the 9 o'clock position. Don't know what the 3 eaglets and parent seen or heard. It was something that distracted them. Now back to eating.

This has been another long day. Mom gets a shot in her spine in the morning. Praying, once again, for good results.

Beautiful picture of ospren in Finland. Foggy in distance, but morning sun shining on the nest. It is clear and beautiful!
You are sure right about Spidey, Lollly. Hard to see much of the nest at all.
I think Spidey has some more meals stashed away!

I just found Helen's weather report. !00% chance of rain. It probably hasn't gotten there yet.
Not that I know of! :) One of them must have slept too much today.
Yeah, very restless! Keep looking at the nest at LW. Can see two eaglets now.
