At Park yesterday, our osprey cam was down,(they HAD gotten it online), so I couldn't see if 3rd egg had hatched. Go there tomorrow, tho, so hope to get a peek!It was in color last week, but no sound. Can't have everything!!
Nature - so I should keep checking the park page to see if they get it back online?
Just a quik note to say Happy Mothers Day to all... So much going on in my life been very ill and athough i dont blog much i peek in on nest now and again.. Yesterday was my sister Linda's 3rd birthday in heaven she would have been 59... Today is my moms 51st Mothers Day in Heaven and the pain of missing her still lingers... Happy Belated Birthday to all i missed also.. Jazzy is growing so much 4 teeth and standing alone .. til she relizes she is doing it... Miserable day here raining so what better time to clean closets huh?? lol Take care everyone, Nilla

I think Spidey has a will of iron - he never gives up! I can see his smudges starting! Almost looks like little zebras in the nest! Poor wet Parent doesn't look so cool either.
I think it is Lib.. Well dad & the kids are being very sweet to Mom-Belle today!

Yes, it is raining here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown and it is 52°. It actually feels colder than that. Don't those eagles of ours look pitiful? Maybe this rain will help wash some of the mites off them and clean the nest out a bit.

Yes, Jo. Family came over to Mom's. They are all so wonderful...Karla (Butterfly Mama) brought dinner over: Grilled Ribs, Dilled Potato Salad and Coconut Creme Pie. I really enjoyed not cooking the meal nor cleaning up after! Karla is a wonderful cook.
My Mom walked into church this morning without a limp and said she slept pain-free last night. THANK YOU JESUS!
Now, Jo, you know he did have something to do with that! LOL

Jo, Mom will be 88 in July. She is a very young 87! I am so grateful to still have my mother in my life. I will do anything to keep her here for a long time to come. Her mother lived to be 94...

Hello all my eagle buddies. I am home. We had a very spiritual weekend, remembering Patty, feeling her spirit everywhere. We had a memorial service this morning and shared our memories of her. There will be a formal one at her hometown on Tuesday afternoon.
Patty was just a giving and loving woman, giving up through the end -- She donated her body to WVU. That is just the kind of woman she was.
Thank everybody for all your kind words of comfort! You truly are such blessings to me!

Hi All!!!! Hope your Mother's Day has been the greatest!!! We had a great time. The boys love swinging in the tree swing and we blew bubbles. Went through three bottles!!! Dinner was grand and Jack cleaned up. I am now enjoying the last of a glass of wine and enjoying the peace that follows having everyone here. LOL

NORMA...My Mom is doing well. She is walking without a limp (almost) and said she slept all night without pain. I pray that it continues to go so well for her.
Good morning everyone!! Very wet, windy and cool in Bluefield this morning. I have to keep reminding myself that these eaglets and eagles probably are not thinking "whoa is me, I am so miserable". This is just part of it for them. I am so good at giving them human emotions though!
