Thank you for the prayers. Mom told her dotor that she was going to leave her pain with him this time. We aren't giving up. If this doesn't work, we are going to try a Chiropractor; (granddaughter works for one and says she thinks he can help).
Wanda I have a lot of faith in chiropractors. I am a certified chiropractic assistant but changed to a legal assistant about twelve years ago.

Wanda, I have used chiropractors for years (in conjunction with primary care) and they have been life savers fir me. I wish your mom well and will carry her in my prayers. Especially on this mother's day weekend.
I think the screeching is amazing. I guess it encourages the parents to feed them just to shut them up.

Norma, it would be quite a surprise if that egg hatched! It hasn't been under her since the day chick #4 hatched, but yes, it would be nice. Not too sure how healthy the chick would be so far behind his siblings, but who knows? Think NBG is getting rain now, parent is on chick trying to keep him dry, and parent looks soaked now.

I served last January as an alternate and have served almost every year for 20 years. Husband and other sister were suppose to have surgery. No flowers blooming yet, Norma. They are up and green now. I have buds on my lilac bushes and my flowering crab trees. Usually the flowering crab trees would have bloomed in April, so they are really late this year.

Read the update on the KY bluebird site, they may fledge today. They are 20 days old today. Parents have slowed down on the feeding to encourage them to leave the nest. Don't forget to say good-bye to them.
Breakfast this morning is blueberry muffins and sausage! There is some homemade bread,but not fresh, could make some toast.

Both the male and female bluebirds feed the young. The parents will feed the young up to three weeks after they leave the nest.
Well, I am back! Quick breakfast! Have to get on the mower before it gets too hot! Looked for you, but no one came!

Human visits to nests leave behind scent trails that significantly increase the chance of predation in the following days.
That means I will only be watching from the porch. Glad I got to see the 3 pale blue eggs.
LOL, check out the CO eaglets and their pet turtle shell! Good grief, you'll have to tell Jo when she comes on.
I finally have some pictures from the Black Hills and the Badlands up on my page. It takes a little bit to load the slide show when you go to look at them.
WOW Suzanne they do have a turtle shell in there. If a special someone comes up missing. We know to check Colorado lol

I just looked out my front door at the bluebird house. Dad is sitting neat the house and he is soaked. Mom might be on the eggs.
We have been here I think now 4 years. Never a bluebird took over that house. Until I moved it this spring. Figured I'm already hurting. Get hubbys help and put it by itself but up higher that a fence post. Within that week had bluebird pair looking at it.

They are putting my Patty on a respirator as we speak. It is not looking good for her today. She had gotten to wear she couldn't breathe, they have been doing radiation trying to shrink the tumor and she has been smothering. Just spoke with Chuck, her husband, and she in the ER getting intubated. Please pray for this to be peaceful for her!
SHARON, I am so sorry it has come to this...may the angels carry her to her Father in heaven peacefully. I have been lighting a candle for her everyday.

Her good friend Patty passed away, earlier this afternoon.
Mits, please pass my heartfelt sympathies to Sharon and to Patty's family. I will remember them in my prayers and I do hope they find the strength they need to get through this time.

Just arrived home few minutes ago.
No rain!! Graduation ran very smoothly for everyone! Such an accomplishment and some of the graduates looked so young!!! Also had an early dinner with everyone.
