Lolly, I love your garden pool and would really like to see more of your yard. We once had a garden pool with a small waterfall and the trees around it shot their roots into the cement and cracked the whole thing apart...gave up on it. Eather the pond or the trees had to go...we chose to keep the trees. That was 30 years ago, and never tried to build another pool. Lack of time and patience got in the way. I admire anyone who has the patience to maintain a garden pool.
Guess I am going to chat and run! Time to read the paper and then start cleaning house. BUMMER!

Wanda, just saw your last note. We have two ponds with a stream that runs between the two. Jack really wanted a garden pond. He did not want a swimming pool, too much to keep up. ha! These ponds take more work! But, we do love them. Two water lilies may bloom this weekend.

Wanda I am watching the "bluebird cam at SC" more than KY. SC is more around the time of my bluebirds. That way I can see what goes on inside that box. Although I only have 3...that is if all 3 hatched.

Actually, this is week 8 for our eaglets....most fledge at 11-12 weeks, so that leaves 3-4 weeks before fledging
I really do want to see that one Dana. We have netflix but I never watch any of the movies. Would rather watch eagles, falcons, ospreys pandas etc.

WANDA Yes Josh is all moved into Greenville and also here for the summer. This past week, I had to rewash alot of his winter clothes that he was taking up to Greenville this weekend to put away in the closet there. The wife to be is allergic to everything; have to was in special suds and no dryer sheets.
He is up to her graduation from college yesterday and today, so I am cleaning house and getting my own clothes and bedding washed.
JIM that NBG chick must be one stuffed bird by now. That chicklet just ate and ate.
It doesn't look like Tiny is going to get any of that fish. It looks like Pearl is keeping it all for herself.

Taking a break from cleaning the house. Sweaty job! I am so upset. It is getting warm today, and I was sweating, soooo we shut up the house and turned on the AC. I hate doing that1 It shuts away my outside and the sounds of the birds.
Oh, well, we will turn it back off this evening and it will be 20 degrees cooler tomorrow.

Make that two at the OK nest. I think that nest is so deep that they were down in and asleep.
Lunch time at the nest. Don't know what they are having but two are chowing down with Mom.

Hello Anne and Dana. I am lurking in and out with housecleaning and washings.
ANNE last weekend I went through all my clothes, upstairs and down, and got rid of alot of them. Gave some to a young girl at school who is a single mom. The rest went to Hot Line or the Thrift Store. I am still washing some of my summer clothes to iron and put in my bedroom closet. I hate doing it too, as each year, I think I will be a little thinner and it never happens, :(
PAULA thanks so much for all the vidoes you have made of our and other bird nests. I got on after school at school yesterday and got a look at some of them. They were GREAT and let me share in some of the antics and growings.
Hey MITS! Saw where you were on the Asian trail the other day. I bet all the people and animals there were delighted to see you back. That has got to be alot of fun.
yep, was there Candy, that was my 3rd shift since I went back after surgery, now have to start thinking how I can juggle beach and zoo soon, especially if Mei has a cub.

Lib has brought in something with fur or feathers and spent a long time preparing it for the trio. Of course, Pearl took over eating it and also has learned to de-fuzz it. Middy has joined in, just as Lib left and Tiny is at the other end of nest all by himself, like the Red-Headed Stepchild. LOL

Mits sorry in the delay in answering your question. No I did check all 3 eggs hatched. They are so so tiny and hugged together. For some reason I think at this stage parents would have to wake them to feed them.
I won't be opening the box to check for a long time now. I felt like a Dr. Sharpie "wantabe" lol. sitting back to make sure parents still took care of them. Parents both returned and still are.
I just looked at KY Bluebird since SC isn't opening. KY has an EMPTY box.

Next project is to convert the vegetable garden...don't need all the room for veggies since it's just me...so...gonna get rid of the weeds and fencing. Then I have to put down mulch...
Then getting a 3 person swing with canopy to put in the middle. Going to edge the garden with ornamental grasses on one side, with a small place for a couple of tomato and pepper plants, and put a birdbath and some flowers on the other side. Going to find some pretty paver stones to get from one side to the other.
Hey PAULA, MITS AND WANDA. I got my cleaning and washing done for the day. I hope you got all your flowers planted Paula, you lucky duck. I hope to get my husband to get mine with me after church tomorrow. He doesn't know it yet tho. :)
