BW, Tesoro, NBG and our very own eagle are on nests this morning. Here's hoping that Norma sees her divers today.:)

Our parrent was just up and looking at the three eggs that are still underher. I sure do hope that they have been ok through all this stormy mess.
The chicks at Tesoro are getting pretty big and sassy from my lurking at school. Soon hopefully, it will be our chicks.
SUZANNE I got a pic of the parent off the three eggs, but don't know if I can send them from here or not.
SUZANNE Everything up your way all clear for the trip down today? And Megan, when are we going to get good weather so you can start to get your seeds planted for your beautiful flowers to bloom. I have got to get up there and get to that farmers marked this year and get some.

Well, Candy, it's time for me to start some seeds, got to get some soil and I dread the thought of heating the GH, using propane heater-$$$$$ -really need to get my season started though, still working on seed orders. Gotta run to the bus stop.

Looks like "Lord BW" is perched in the middle of a windstorm right now.
I don't recall what he brought the Lady while incubating last year, but he did keep them fed with a constant gift of fish after the chicks hatched.. Didn't they have a final family dinner on the nest with about a half dozen fish?
I have trouble telling the pair apart at WV too in the "fish-eye" lens, but Belle stood up sideways to the camera just before he arrived, and she looked LARGE at the far end of the nest (Lib never looks large at the far end), so I'm pretty sure it's her. I guess Lib went to "russle up some breakfast" ... hahaha.

Good morning all. Hope you took time to see your Valentine yesterday if not it will arrive with your FeedBlitz this morning. Our roller coaster weather has continued. It is once again 3 degrees and a major snow event coming in on Sunday. Why is it always on my word day ugh!!! Well hope your day is good. I am soon off for coffee and dog treats. Busy Day ahead for me. treats.
Wow, Megan, not at this hour of the day! Sometimes my Maine cam jumps, as does both panda cams at NZ. I have to stop them and restart them.
Candy, everything on the roads is pretty much gone. It was only 27° when I went home yesterday, so I could see where the black ice was going to be this morning. And yup, same place every year. But they told me it's supposed to get in the low 50s down here today. Who knew?
Jim, yes, I remember that big farewell dinner at BWE! Lots and lots of fish!!! I had forgotten about that.
Oh, Candy, have a great day! How was the Valentine's Day yesterday? Anyway, have a super weekend. We're supposed to get more "weather" Sunday into Monday, but Monday is a holiday, so don't have to drive in it. Hopefully, roads will be totally clear by the time I come in Tuesday!

Wow, look at the size of those chicks in Tesoro! One is trying to move a stick, that's cute! NBG is still MT, not a good thing. Both owls in the hotel, they have 6 eggs this morning! And look at NBG, you can still see the ice on the trees it looks like. Sun sure is making it pretty.

instead of watching the 30 second refresh. But this year I can't get it to work. I e-mailed them but got no response. Can anyone help?! Are you all watching a continuous live feed or just the 30 second refresh? Thanks for your help!

Yes knew they were in Shepherdstown - have even been to the facility but didn't know about the nest when I was there! Found out about it from friends in Clarksburg, WV at Robert C. Byrd High School. They have the cam on their website because they are the home of the "Eagles"! Then started watching Norfolk cam. They had a lot of activity there yesterday but it seems like Momma is back today.
Still working on technical issues on the live feed, but we do have the cost estimate and the support of the Friends Group to cover the approximately $5,000 to pay for the feed. Your donations are part of that support, thank you.

Well its time to leave. I have to lock Heidi in the house today and I feel bad but cant think of anything else to do. she is getting out of the yard somewhere and the mail man wont leave any mail for any of the neighbors . One of them met me at the door last night. She is so little I dont see the problem but my mail man does.
In my opinion they found the red dress, had a wonderful evening and now are sleeping in. Thats what I Think!

Norma, the only way my pipes would freeze would be if the electricity would go out for a long time. The pipes are buried pretty deep to prevent freezing, then they come in the basement where it is warm.

Nilla, RU around? I saw your comment the other day about having 4 kitties now and had to laugh! Specially with 2 of them kittens! Trust me, my "kittens" are over 3 years old now, and I NEVER know what I'm gonna find when I get home! Never! My landlord told me that they have nothing to do all day but sit around and think of things to get into...then get into them. He was sooooo right! I have throw pillows on the floor, I have dry catfood dishes from one side of the kitchen to the other, one of them has learned how to open my kitchen cabinets (now have them childproofed!) and am liable to find anything on the floor. But they are funny, and you will certainly enjoy them! And just think, they all make EXCELLENT blankets when you go to bed or fall asleep on the couch! When they chase each other, I may have cat food dishes MT in one place and of course, the food all over the floor! Just what I need getting home from work! Means Golden Boy has taken the kitchen to LR corner too fast and hit the bowl. If he's really speeding, the little toot also hits a water bowl too, so I not only get to sweep, I also get to mop! But wouldn't trade them for the world, they are a riot!!! Have fun with them, they do grow up quickly!!
Norma, the flamingos aren't in the pool now, will they go in later? They're just standing around being pretty while they are so up close and personal to the cam.

I enjoy seeing the FLAMINGOS in the pool!!---You can watch them move around more----I have seen these (not these at NZOO) FLAMINGOS DANCE---It is so beautiful!!---That is part of mating ritual, I believe!!

Awwww, Mei must want in or treats, doing the Ray Charles dance again. Tai is zonked out on his grate, looks like. They are adorable! SD is showing a huge pile of bamboo, but it's not moving, so either GaoGao has had enough for today, or he's taking a nap under it! Haven't seen Squigs all day, but haven't really been watching either.

Missed the breakfast club. I had a rare Migrane attack. Two days in a row. I get such a big Aura that The whole room is full of psychedelic lights and I don't function very well. All gone now.

We have a full kitchen here and everyone brings in something for the soup. Today there are only 3 of us here (not counting that crazy office cat), so we decided to make potato salad today. It was yummy. Made me think of the lazy, hazy days of summer....
DEB---I went into the VA CHATROOM----a first for me---I asked if they had any ideas as to why the EAGLES were leaving their nest----They said no---repeated what you just said about the golf carts, etc. out looking----but did say it's a warm day they should be fine!!---Try it ---easy to do!!---interesting---sounds like out place--ho!

HEY CAROL---Wish we were closer---we would all come over for soup!! ho!---Heard any more about SENECA CAVERNS?---I had it confused with SMOKE HOLE CAVERNS!!---I understand no one knows why it is closed!!---Read that JOHN RAESIE (sp) owns it---VERY WEALTHY!!----He owns several things---lives in Morgantown area--He has run for several offices at the state level--sen. & gov.
