Could be Liberty in the nest right now, and I see some fresh pine needles this morning.

The BW male is in the middle of the Osprey nest consuming a large bird, I believe it is.

Actually, the BW pair could have switched too. It might be the female consuming the bird. These fish-eye lenses throw my perspective way off sometimes.

I don't have that one up right now, Norma, but Bai and ZZ are in the anteroom now.

I think ZZ just got a bath, and now she's going to conquer the wash stand.

Norma, I think the nest was empty all night again at Norfolk.

Nobody, except maybe the biologists on the scene are sure what has happened.

New report in the DGIF section, but it seems a little behind the happenings.

For sure the first clutch of eggs is history, but I don't know for certain if the intruder has the territory permanently. Seems likely to me though.

Have to wait for the experts to assess and post the information.

CLOUDY skies at TOSORO---A grey "fuzzy head" appears to be the CAPT. this a.m.---

JIM---I don't think anyone has an answer!---It has been interesting to watch---but so very SAD!!---I always thought---if the intruder was female---she was only after the eggs!!---I don't think we can understand NATURE---We learn to accept it---------make sense????

Jim - I have plenty of RAM, that's not the problem. This ol puter can only process so fast...it's the CPU, which means time for a new one.

Good Morning! Watching Tai climb out of the tree...some of those branches look like they bend to the fullest when he is on them... Just in time to see the gobble gobbles! Love the pine branch in our nest. With the recent ice coverage a lot of pine branches are laying on the ground.
Not certain of the temp here - but the air feels cold!

Oh My Goodness - Tai went up into the tip top of the tree again. He is putting on quite a show for the spectators below...
