Got the telethon on. Yes he looks ownderful again. I am so relieved. I have really enjoyed him in his movies and on this telethon. i always watch this on Labor Day. The last 3 or 4 years I have worried each year about how he was doinge tc. Must have really good drs.

(2) I have a crock pot it is not ever 1/2 full after cooking for awhile the condensation of water starts spitting out the 2 sides from under the lid-leaving water on my counter. please no one say that is a crock lol

makes me wonder if our adults drop any food of at our nest at least occasionally still. I know they go there still. These other cams make me almost positive there still is activity at our nest. and no i don't want to scare our young away by humans going up there to look at that cam thing. But when they do go, there are still shells there unless the rain has washed them down. Maybe another reason for someone close by to make that trip onover there and ya know talk to the guard. Just bring nilla...she needs to get out for some fun any way.

Yes I believe a jpegcan be converted to gif. Open with windows and fax viewr. Click on little floppy save picture. Drop down give you a choice of file types. Choose giff, but not sure why you would want to do that LOL.

No Mits it is on LOW and the pot is not even 1/2 way full.???? I watched it all of a sudden the lid popped up alittle by itself and then the condsenation started spitting out the sides.
On close inspection of the 3 eggs, looks like they are all three still intact.
If it is not the original lid, that is your problem.

I love this eagle nest because it is the closest I have seen to ours.

Eaglet is still at the nest. Looks like food might be coming again. He was mantling a while ago right before the food arrived. Well, not sure what he is doing really.
They place fruit and veges for the pandas this time of day, when he was younger, they would bring her in first, so that, she could have them all to herself. Now she has to fight him for the food.
I could watch Tai 24/7 and I think I have sometimes.....
Tai is sitting right in the middle of the bamboo, but, I think he has found some fruit and veges.

I like being a Frodacam celeb but I loved it - absolutely loved it -- when I was a NCTC Eagle Cam celeb with Spunky's fledge!!
It was VERY beautiful in that part of the country! I could live at NCTC and be very happy! (especially if Todd dropped by now and then!)

In the osprey site in New Hampshire the water is so calming and peaceful.
Lil Smurfs nest is got alot of large dark brown wood in it. Maybe it's there to not blow away if another storm comes up. Sure does look messy.

Dana i have used a crock pot for years and never had that problem.. When you put your meat in not suppose to put but alittle water like 1/2 cup if that because it makes its own juice..

Had to have some with my coffee when I got home. It was the bestest piece of pumpkin pie! Oh, Yes, I still like APPLE PIE ! Just can't get my hands on a good one!! LOL
Glass lid, put 3 leg and 3 thighs no water. It is a Rival Stoneware Slow Cooker Cooks all day while the cook's away (I'm on the computer lol) that qualifies as away hee hee. 5 QUART SETTING I PUT ON LOW.
No Nilla, I am coming in the spring. I want to take in some eagle action for sure while i'm there.

Early this morning Lun Lun ate a few biscuits and slices of fruit. Then she went back to sleep. She was restless for a few hours yesterday evening. Restlessness sometimes precedes labor. So, we were hopeful, but she slept through the night. The waiting continues.

Hi Mema Jo! Dana how'd the chicken turn out? I think chicken pieces might be very juicy - they add so much sodium something or other water injected to the chicken to boost the weight so you're paying more per pound. That might be part of the problem with the spluttering

Hey all- wow, this is a long blog, we need a new thread cause it takes forever to load. Hey Vicky, I got your e-mail, that is a picture of a clearwing hummingbird moth.
A slow cooker (crock pot) to me means that you place the meat,stew or whatever into the crock in the morning. One half hour before the meal, you go to the pot & it is ready to go to the table with no mess on the counter I turn mine on high & leave it unattended until the dinner bell rings.

Mema Jo I already returned a Protecor Silex one did the same thing. My girlfriend was here when I used both. She's had one for years. She cant believe both did the same thing. She said if she hadn't seen both of them do it she wouldn't have believed it. Maybe a crock is just not for me ... now that does sound like alot of crock.

DANA I place a good size piece of beef in & leave it on high for about 7 or 8 hours. I like the beef to be so done you can cut it with a fork.

Just drove by, Jo saw no eagles there. But we ended up near Gerardstown, WV up on top of this mountain range and the view was beautiful. We saw 1 eagle, not an adult, but it had white in its tail so I guess 2 or 3 yr. old. Saw a couple of hawks and lots of ugly ole turkey vultures.

The clearwing hummingbird moth my husband took a picture of today! I sent the pic to Megan to help us identify the critter! That's what was out in full force all over the pot of flowers on our patio.
I think we will be testing the life out of this blog tonight!

Megan Blue Salvia is what Jenny (you met her at Market) brought over for me. The hummer has been there at least 3 or 4 times each day since she gave it to me.

The hummers like it so much because there are soooooooo many little bell shapped flowers & they just take their time beaking each one of them.
It could also be that at this time during the end of summer - there aren't too many other flowers blooming for them..........

OK gonna try a different question here Is it like in a hanging planter, or is it in your garden. What I saw when I put the name in a search engine grows like 2 to 4 feet and you plant them 12 inches or so apart. Just wondered if they come up again next year, or if you buy them and set them out in the spring. .If no one knows, maybe floralgirl will see my question and answer.

I thought the camera moved in just in order to see tFrireda's eggs when she got up. I really wouldn't want someone to mess with her garden weeds...That may be the only shade for the chicks.

There are soooooooo many different kinds of this species.
I am color blind; so I don't know what color I am. Since I have no computer skills. I can not check for those asking if I am an annual.
I do know that many hummingbirds stick their needle like mouths into my bloom and they get my sweet nectar.
They seem to like me because they keep coming back.
