We are allowed 5 topic areas. maybe we could make one of them Other related which means you could pretty much write about anything.

I think I would like to feature one of you who have subscribed and want to participate maybe to write up a little each month like a "Getting to know Me Better" kind of thing...only If you think that would be fun. And that still gives us one more.
So yes Kind of Brainstorming outloud to see what kinds of ideas and feedback you have.

Maybe you could work up the questions & have us take a look. Our newspaper each week does a SLICE OF LIFE on people. It is always interesting. I like the questions they ask.. I think that would be a good idea that you have....

I wish that Suzanne would pop in & surprise us. Did you see how many eagle pics she has in her album? She is going to hit triple digits soon! The zoo white lion cubs are really growning. She gets really good shots of them.

Mema Jo Could you maybe send me some of the better questions from the slice of life to give me some idea of what you are thinking.
There are lots of cute light emails that circulate occasionally with stuff like, favorite color, favorite movie, etc. Or there are the more really tell me a little about you kind of questions, like where you grew up, brothers, sisters, favorite things, pet peeves , well you know. Maybe you could all email me a couple of questions you would like to answer and see answered and I could get a nice list together that way or some such.

Saw an eagle there later in the afternoon too. Checked on the LI nest, the wind was whistling there like you wouldn't believe...had one little feller fly into the nest in the midst of it, he was hangin on for dear life, like the NU eaglet!
Oh yea, Jo there is market tomorrow, I don't have a lot, but I'm going. looks like it will be a cloudy day, but at least no rain. Hoping things in the garden will perk up when the sun reappears. Ernesto was good to us here, no real heavy damaging rain and not a lot of wind.
Well, Jo, I am washing some towels...but the rest of the packing is up to him...I made the list, bought the stuff, now he's got to finish it up! (I do plan on checking stuff one last time when it is all done tho!)

I am definitely enjoying my 4 day weekend. I am sure folks will be complaining about them cancelling school. The Governor said it was a state of emergency, so best to be safe. Storm could've been much different, I guess. We'll be making the day up in June, I'm sure. It does make a nice start to things - 4 days of school, 4 days off and 4 days of school. I could get used to that routine....

Yea, glad our kids only got out one hour early so they won't have to make up a day. Seems like they shoul've waited til morning to make a decision in WV, but sometimes it's a tough call.
When Glo asked if I would write something, I did quickly agree. Then I hit a brick wall trying to come up with something to write. I asked 2 good friends on here for ideas and they threw out some. Then I sat down at the computer, prayed and that is what I ended up with. I really am not a journalist at all. Have never had a really creative mind so God did help. I am glad you all liked it!

We knew something was going on because we've never seen so many police cars in our life: State Police, Charles Town, Jefferson County Sheriff, and of course ambulances. Mother (91 years old, legally blind) is frightened because it was so close (2 blocks) but unless you're in the direct line of fire it's a family tragedy and does not threaten the campus or community. But unbearably sad and inexplicable. Apparently the family is from Grant County. So sad.

Dana, it was apparently a father who shot his 2 sons and then killed himself on the campus at Shepherd University! So sad. I am just thinking about their mother! How tragic!

DUHHHHHHHHHH Sharon ..lmao Dana i take the Toprol n Plavix about 11 am and always eat something at least 2 peices of toast n hot tea in my eagle mug.. Then take the Zocor at night usually around 11.. Just still having these bouts of feeling really dizzy and short of breath and weak,,,But i attribute it to the nicotime with drawl also been tomarrow will be 20 days...
So that was it terrible terrible...Nephew is parimedic and he was due home. His mom couldn't get ahold of him. They were suppose to have a meal together. She called they just like usual say he is out. He don't even discuss his runs with us or other family members. Takes job very serious. So like when we see him tomorrow. We'll say was you on that run, he'll just say yes and that is the end of it..he don't come out and tell us. We have to hear and ask. Only will say yes or no and HE WILL NEVER GIVE DETAILS.

Had to check out Frieda but it has now darken in Brisbane. Watched her last night (early this am) & she was so restless on the nest. She must have changed her position at least 20 times within a few minutes. Thought for sure something was happening - but she did get off the nest & there were no fuzzy little heads.
Back to bed for me for 2 hours. After all it is a holiday weekend.
Also no news posted on LunLun other then what Nilla & Sharon reported last night.

Horses and feeders with birds in Denbury.
Earlier at Nat. Zoo showed a panda asleep laying over the wooden logs. I watched for awhile couln't tell it Mei or Tai. Never moved. Clicked out came in seen Sharon's comment went back in and no more on logs asleep in Grotto??????? I seen what I seen; no I wasn't daydreaming or asleep and dreaming lol.
Lil Smurf just eating away. I think he is trying to make up for all lose of food from storm yesterday. No blue Teddy yet....

STEVEN please on one of your trips to CT, please swing by Milford and find out who set up their cam, I want to personally thank that person, because, they did a kick-a-- job, it shaked and swayed but it hung in there. Kudos to the CT team, going to try and find and address to write to them.

Back for tea Break time LOL. Thanks Dana You have such a nice way of people touch and letting them know you have noticed time they gave for you, or someone/something you love.
I think inside me is really a Graphic artist wanna-be, needing some time and practice, and some nice graphics lOL. .Alas why I miss the lack of picture availablility in Cafe Press newsletter.
I am glad to hear some of the nests are seeing the occupied critters back. i worried for all of them during the storm these past couple of days. This springs newly fledged are still getting their wings perfected in the nice weather let alonethe other stuff. They too probably gained some really good experience yesterday. Finding, catching and returning a Blue Smurf to the nest could be an aquired skill. Maybe mom knew what to Bribe babe with, and used the wind as an excuse to move it out of the nest. OOOps that's right you saw it leave Well it owuld still be easier to return than a live fish. Will have to watch for it. it did get up therre in the first place so it might just return.
