In the Woods Hole Osprey about a week after Ernesto hit Lil Smurf's nest. There has been a blue unstuffed cloth item in this nest. It was never there before. I have loved thinking but never blogged it. That it is poor Teddy Bear; sad yet Happy To Think He got carried to someone else's nest. Although he is unstuffed.
It gets moved around in there too.

Suzanne Shoot I could transparent the psychedelic picute over the whole collage and it would feel .Just like old time LOL. Love the Spunkster. if he's the last one we saw there. Actually I do have one from same day about 6 pM ..its on the collage right now. I do think your shot of him mantling earlier in the day is great, and you know i always worried about him eating. Might end up using both of them, but I have to take one away to do that...OH I am so bad at doing that. its like going to the Photographer when the kids were young and trying to choose which pictures you don't want LOL

Glo it is just an Osprey site I told everyone about in here when I found it. I go in there several times a day. The blue unstuffed thingy "a dirty blue" was even more see able a week and days ago. It sort of looks like it might get blown out of nest. Hope not I enjoy thinking "it's Teddy Bear"...and Ernesto couldn't finish him totally off lol

Eaglet at NU nest is about 5 months old, they hatched around April 20

Seems parent is bringing food, and he is also feeding himself, so a little of both. Fledged means he has left the nest, successfully in flight.
Doreen, I have seen 2 eaglets in the NU nest before but it has been a while. Hopefully they are just taking turns coming to the nest and both are still okay!
Lun Lun and Buta Buta have a closeup happening now. Buta Buta's eyes and ears are getting really black. So precious!

Blog is busier again today That is such a good thing. Speaking of Medical ShowsDoes anyone remember the show that starred Richard Chamberland.... I had to be in my teens when that was on. Watched it after High School everyday. I think that's what got me hooked on both Medical shows and the idea of becoming a nurse...because way beck then LOL, girls weren't encouraged to be Doctors.

Lun Lun is also keeping her cub very clean. She usually licks the cub during nursing bouts. Young giant pandas, like other newborn carnivores including puppies and kittens, cannot defecate and urinate without stimulation from the mother. Giant panda mothers stimulate their cubs to void waste by licking and ingest any waste the cubs produce. That’s dedication!

Hi, Norma. Some of you may have missed my post yesterday. We drove out to the eagle tree and at the y in the road where you bear right to NCTC we was a young eagle (I think Spunky) chasing a crow. Nobody around the nest, but enough leaves have fallen so that you get a clear view from the road. I have taken steps to become areal momster if the head momster will let me in.
Doreen these Eagles are beautiful BUT just wait til you see "OUR" Liberty & Belle huh gang...
Sandra Head Momster will open the door for you very shortly....
