Leitersburg Cinemas in Hagerstown is having a party that starts at 10:00. I pre-purchased tickets for my group. We have 22 tickets! The package was for 2 slices of pizza, all you can eat popcorn and drink soda, there is a DJ and prizes being given away. Should be fun. we are even dressing up!
Well, I am sorry to report that when I went up to take a shower, and turned the bedroom light on, within minutes, there were 2 STINKBUGS flying around, and 2 more in the bathroom. And so, it begins again.....I think the very cool temps at night have them scouting for an over-wintering spot.
I am also sorry to report that we are ALSO watching Swamp People. LOL!!! Not really my cup of tea, but Steve likes it!
Well, I have increased my girth by about 25 lbs just reading about the zucchini bread and cream cheese. A summer favorite that I try to pretend I do not want.
Although it is early, the sandperson is lurking in the hallway. I expect to be overtaken very soon.
The night light is on for anyone who may need to arise in the hours of darkness and for those who may be coming in the door from the West coast. Restful sleep for all.

NO! NO! The night light does NOT attract stink bugs. The light is a special light that is only detected by momsters and dadsters who need to navigate in the darkness of night to avoid stubbed toes. The night light has an anti-stink bug vaporizing repellent gaseous emission.

I saw an eagle and it was a tease!!! It was perched on top of a tree and everyonce in a while woudl spread its wings but never take to wing. It repeated it several times as in to say see me see me...There were only ten paddlers out tonight and so we were not going very fast., The lake was so very calm and we had just had a rain storm right before we went out. It showered while we were gone and it worked pretty well. I told them about the eagle and we took the time for everyone to spot it and I kept track of it when we were paddling towards it on the return trip.BEAUTIFUL SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. I feel blessed and know gratitude.
I read Belle/Truder signs with caamera shaking and sounds happened here but no actual visit to the nest.
The meals sounds delicious MARGY and I will go out to look at the full moon when it gets dark here. Paula I might have to do something about baking zucchini bread. I work at the Farmers' Market this Saturday and I will see if there is fresh zucchini to buy. The Grans have a table for a fund raiser we sell baked good and I work a shift every during the summer months...we only set up on the third Saturday of the month so it is not too much really in terms of volunteering.
LOLLY I saw THREE TEXAS license plates today in Nelson. I smiled to myself and said to myself, "Hi to Lolly and Jack and Family." I hope Jack feels better with the medication and the dental appointment work today.
LYNNE2 So glad Steve came home sooner than later, it would have been a worry otherwise. So sorry about the stink bugs.

Just found out that Charlie's bro (my "handyman") just totalled his vehicle a little while ago---avoiding two deer and hit a tree. Charlie is on his way to see if he's okay. Won't go to ER cause he doesn't have money or insurance.

Shirley and Lynne, I haven't the swamp show.....but I do enjoy Deadliest Catch, of course, but also Ice Road Truckers, and there were ones about loggers and about a big wrecker service out of Chicago that was good, too. I've learned a lot from all of them!

Happy to say that my ear is looking better tonight. I tried to get an appt. with the doctor, but first available is 2nd week of August! If it gets worse, I guess I could go to urgent care, but that's not close to us at all. Hopeful it will keep improving. I did make an appt. for a checkup in August, though.
We're taking care of the bulldogs again, through Sunday night. Sis- & Bro-in-law will be in Carmel. They have to use their timeshare, or lose a full week.

I am home...been swimming by the light of the moon! It was so nice. After most of the girls left four of us swam. Actually, we just soaked and talked . It was sooo nice! I am feeling very relaxed and should sleep well tonight.
Jack just told me his neck may be better. "Let loose" was his expression. I asked about his tooth and he said he did not chew his supper on that side. Hmmm?? Guess we shall see tomorrow. Doctor is treating his neck for spasms. Let's hope that is all it is!!
Thanks Andy for the heavy duty prayers for rain. We need it so badly. Trees are now starting to drop leaves. There is a chance for rain coming up this weekend, I think.
Read about Hope loosing her collar already. Maybe they can make it a little tighter. Want that collar to stay on!

LYNN, hope your SIL's bro is recovering nicely, though he probably feels like he's been hit by a truck this morning. Big dilemna for a driver, hitting deer or trees can both be devastating. Years ago my dad totalled his 1970 Buick when he hit a deer on I40 near Flagstaff. At least neither he or my stepmother were injured.
HODA saw an Eagle, how special ! We all rejoice when any one of us spots one of the beautiful birds, don't we ?
SHIRLEY, no competition for his affections. The consensus seems to be, Bruce is all yours ! LOL

Seth has the entire collection and I've "endured" watching all so far.☺ Not my genre, but have to appreciate the special effects. He and a friend will go to this one over the weekend.

Went to Harry Potter last night and got home at 2:30 this morning, just a wee few hours ago!
Kay-yes we dressed up! Can you believe it 47 years old and dressing up for a movie. I was Prof. McGonagall. The kids were all different "students" with robes and house patches.
It was good. Of course, I am an avid reader and nothing compares to the books. Much is left out and some is changed but overall very good.

Even with all these drugs. I guess I am going to have to call the doctor office and report in, I was hoping my practitioner would call me she knows how upset I was, but she didn't and what she prescribed hasn't worked. I think I need to see someone who specializes in nerves and muscles.

Well my practitioner talked about physical therapy so we will see. I think she wanted to see if we could just get the swelling down that she suspects that I have and get it to stop, but it isn't working.
Well it doesn't look like our Eagles are going to let us see them this morning. I'm off, maybe I'll go try to catch a few more z's before my student comes this morning for a tutoring session. Have a great day everyone!

Doc this the growth is just granulation tissue. I am supposed to use medicine on it for 2 weeks and go without my bottom denture as much as I can. If it doesn't go away, he will have to remove it in day surgery.
That would be "doc said this growth".

Slept really well after the swim last night. Kathy, whose house we were at last night, said she swims every night just before bed. Sleeps like a baby. I usually sleep well, but sometimes wake up every hour. Last night, I slept the night through.
Jack seems to be better with his neck this morning. He usually sleeps on his left side but has not been able to do that. He said he woke up on his left side. So progress!!!
He hasn't eaten yet...will have to see about that tooth!
Like all the cake avatars and the comments about them this morning. I think you early birds have a little bit too much fun in the mornings. LOL

Update on my Train friend, Tammy. She is still in the hospital but alert and off the ventilator. They are transferring her to a mental health facility and she is fighting that. She said she wished she had died. She apparently has a huge problem with alcohol and this is the root of the problem. Hopefully in this process she will find some surrender and work for a new way of life. Please keep praying.

Both my girls and all 3 grandsons have sworn to be at GG's for dinner. We are having squash casserole and flounder & whiting. Just in case Jayden doesn't like squash, I got him a Kid's Cuisine, which I know he loves:)
OMG...I just looked at the present temp. and it is a BEAUTIFUL 75 degrees, only going up to 83:)

My daughter use to board her dog when they went away It was such a nice place they let dog be dogs and mounds of dirt all over from the digging and they all looked like they were have a blast Almost like they play king of the mountain there Funny- Boths of her dogs would get so excited when she would take them there like the love it (this is from yesterdays comments) I am so behind ok still reading

Do you all have the toilet program that they give you a free one if Its a water flow one I haven't done it yet Just was wondering if you all have it in your states It is through the water company they reimburse you for it so it end up being free Less water is used I had just read where SHIRLEY had mentioned her situation and do you realize this is the third day we have potty talk going on here LOL

I've been over to take care of the bulldogs (Lynn, no, SIL puts Advantage on them, so no fleas.), took care of Emma, put out bird seed and refilled the hummer feeder, watered, and now on the way to 2 different banks--deposit at one, payment at the other. Then to 2 different stores to do grossery shopping.
YAY!!! Saw a male AND a female Hooded Oriole this morning! They're
b-a-a-c-k! Oriole feeder will go up this weekend. :o]
Haven't caught up on the blog, so hope everyone is doing fine. Just wanted to check in quickly to let you know I'm still praying for everyone.
