Lori-I have to go to the dentist this morning. It am terrified. All I can do is pray. I am very thankful to have the choice to go to the dentist. There are so many people that need work done but they have no resouces to do that.
THELMA, can't your doc, or dentist give you something to take before your appointments? That's awful you have to live in such fear. We all have our fears, many hate to fly, and they are offered help to get through it...why not something for you?
Hey Lori did everyone abandon you? I went back to sleep and just got back up. Laundry is underway. Love that my kids do their own, Aric put his in before he went to bed last night and I dried it for him this morning. Now mine is going. Hate doing laundry as much as I hate grossery shopping.
I'm here. Emma is sleeping in late again today. Boy, I slept SOOOO soundly last night! Didn't wake up until Hubby was up & about, getting ready for work. I usually wake up before he does. Interesting--I have been dreaming the longest, most interesting dreams for the last few days! When I was much younger, I would dream like that every single night. For the last, oh, five years or so, I have gone through a dry spell. Now, this week, I'm dreaming again!
Thelma, I'm saying some heavy-duty prayers for you regarding the dentist appt. today. Hope they make you feel at ease! I know what you mean--I dread going to the dentist.

Can't believe that Lynne and Margy both heard cuckoos yesterday! I did not KNOW they were anywhere aroound here! I love listening to them on one of the European nest sites....reminds me of my Grandma's clock!!
Lolly, so sorry about your encounter with whatever it was....OUCH! Hope no bad after-effect today. I think this may be a time when you will be happy to end a trip earlier than planned if it means that the rain gods are benefitting your state.

GOOD MORNING... Thought I'd add a tiny bit of good news. GG went to her garden and picked bean, peppers, tomatoes and squash. She watered front and back flower gardens. Then, made a pretty bouquet out of her Gallardias (Mexican fiesta daisies). Tells me her shot is helping. I too, had an injection in my knee, yesterday. The pain level has dropped from a 10 to an 8, which is pretty good for the FIRST day:) Doctor will discuss knee replacement in November:)
Thelma, we have a dentist here in Martinsburg who will anesthetize you. Wish I could be with you today, I would hold your hand throughout your proceedure♥

Ed Clark is on the chat...says this: NX is missing one entire flight feather, #9, and part of another, #8, which was broken at some point yesterday, though it may well have been damaged previously as well. That means that only two--(2)--feathers are not fully functional. When we next examine her, we'll determine if there is enough left of the broken feather to "imp", or splice another feather onto the broken shaft, or if we'll just let them grow back naturally. But, all of the hysteria about the condition of her wing is just as misplaced as the concern about the impact of the transmitter. NX is fine, and will be fine...
