I guess I haven't been away too long as I remembered how to Split.

Marvelous Marvin is still the lovey
dovey furry one even though we were
gone 4 days - He didn't have a moment's
thought that we stopped loving him! Our daughter took care of him...

My dear husband is outside cutting the grass and my butt is still parked in bed with my coffee resting my feet and reading!!

I guess I should make something of this beautiful day. I should probably call the doctor, I know!

I think I will start with some exercise on my new exercise bike!! Get my blood flowing. I got a recumbent bike over the weekend, and it doesn't bother my achilles tendon to cycle. That's good.

Linda - it's good to read all your
posts!

Well, give lovey dovey marvelous Marvin a hug for me!!

Have a Marvelous Marvin Day!! ♥

Thanks, Jo! I feel like I have horded the blog.

Kay----it's not as bad as it was...but I still feel it. Yes, it's muscular as far as I know. Trying not to keyboard too much.

Tomorrow's Eaglet release info:

8:00 a.m.: The five young Bald Eagles that will be released tomorrow will be caught. The catch-up crew (same as the weigh-in crew) will be starting with the three Norfolk birds and then will be catching the two eagles in the other flight pen. As each bird is caught, it will be taken down to the hospital to be “bumpered” and placed into a transport crate. The “bumpering” is something that’s done to keep the eagles’ wrist areas padded and protected during transport. The two eagles, #1714 and #1235, will be banded.

9:00 a.m.: Feed from the Wildlife Center cam to WVEC will stop.

11:00 a.m.: WVEC’s live streaming of the release will begin [same website address]. DGIF Biologist Steve Living will be narrating the release.

WVEC’s moderated discussion will continue throughout the remainder of the week.

And please join us …

Thursday, July 28, 9:00 a.m.: The Wildlife Center will begin streaming the Wildlife Center Animal Cam. Please look for the “animal cam” link on the front page of the Wildlife Center’s website at that time. A moderated discussion will also be launched at that point, though likely minimal discussion will take place on Thursday/Friday as the WVEC discussion wraps up.

Here's the original cam site where the release will be shown live:

You know, I think LINDA has enough property for us to build a HUGE house for us all to have a road trip to from time to time...would be a blast!
Gotta run>>>>>>>>>>

LYNN...would a good massage help you? Insurance pays for medical massages.

Hello Wanda and Lynn
Thanks Lynn for the schedule for tomorrow -
Menu for the soup kitchen sounds inviting...

Got my street clothes on but no where

Have you on my prayer list, Lynn!!

Take it easy if you can. ♥

Thanks for the info on the Eagle Release set for tomorrow, Lynn.

Amazing! It will take us back to sadder days, but will be exhilarating to see them begin their new lives in freedom!

WHAT TIME TOMMORROW ARE THE FIVE EAGLES BEING REALEASED I AM SCHEDULED 9 TO 6 which I will work I am not about to make waves ODD thing at work they have brought in a bunch of temp help from a temp agency I have been with walmart for 21 years and that is the first ever I bet they are trying to see if more cost effective We interview, drug test and then after they are hired they have CBL to do(computer based learning about their jobs) which does cost and the turns in the store is always high so they are trying this out to see if it is cost effective that is the excuse they are giving
I told everyone that need to step up to bat and do a better job quite a few are job scared now because of the temps and they are working really good and efficient compared to some of our lazy slackers that mgmt never does anything about so maybe this will scare them in to working harder or at least working

OH DID I FORGET TO SAY GOOD AFTERNOON EAGLE BUDS HOME FOR LUNCH back to reading

NEW WEDNESDAY THREAD !!

hedgie said...

Hi, Jim! Read back a few to get the schedule for the NBG eaglet release tomorrow!!

Wanda Elaine---pretty ring to it! And passed to two more generations!
Menu sounds good, kiddo!

Massage??? Never had one. Hmmmm....

Can't schedule anything at the present---Carolyn is picking up a few things for me at Wally World, and she changed her hair apptmt. tomorrow to today so that she can housesit......STUPID DOOR.

JudyE---temp jobs through agencies make me very angry. GM starting doing that with supervisors and nurses.....what a waste they all were. Just made the rest of us HAVE to work more to pick up their slack!
And our local QuadGraphics plant has brought in their summer help: from POLAND! They've done this before---they don't even speak English, and one of the local banks will cash their paychecks without them having accounts (where Caro used to work). Very frustrating when there are college kids looking for summer jobs.
