Well, SPLIT we did!

Checking out TV before Prez comes on.
They say it is a political speech...

Linda said...

MARGY - When do you get back to your "normal" schedule? This must be killing you? Poor Thing ♥

hedgie said...

Judy---forgot to say---I like the melting woman avatar!

Hoda, praises and prayer for your sweet sister and her care of her husband.

Yes, Margy, call Caro Lucy!!

Very strange on Jeopardy. Announcer was introducing players and said "a retired Emergency ROOM physician" which is totally misplaced emphasis!!! Hard to believe that a pro would make a mistake like that.

hedgie said...

Jo, so good to see you back with us.

And Linda, too!

Hope you all had good weekends---and I see that Lynne2 disappeared again!

Mema Jo said...

Prayers for Candy's eye surgery at Duke
Tuesday! It is on Candy's FB page.

Lynne2 said...

I'm still here....been doing laundry and searching for a car. BARF.

Yes Lynn, we still have one set of wheels!

DanaMo said...

OMGosh I'm so tired! Went to Laguna Beach today. Gonna post pics in a little bit.

hedgie said...

SIL Charlie should be home by now....what a trip. To New Orleans and back in 72 hrs. He WON'T be doing it again. It was not as fruitful as he had been led to believe. The motel room the guy got him was apparently a real slummy place....he refused to stay in it. So had to spend out of pocket to get a better place. The guy and his girkfriend did not even help Charlie and Donald tote her belongings into the apartment. Think they were used as slave labor all the way around.

NCSuzan said...

Evening everyone! I am so far behind in the blog, please forgive me. Been in the hospital again. Just got out Friday. Will say this, my first name i Suzan and my middle name is Durango.

Linda said...

DanaMO - Your pictures were great and it looks like the family is really having a good time!!

Is it easier and faster to use picasa web to get your pics on the blog? It certainly was easy to view them. I'd like to look into that, because posting them to the blog one at a time seems antiquated.

Lynne2 said...

Girkfriend? LOL!

That trip must have been hell on wheels for sure. You know the saying, no good deed goes unpunished! I don't really believe that, but it sure seems to be true sometimes. Just gald he's home safe!

NCSuzan said...

Lynn. I have scanned the blog and know you have had an experience with your house cleaning. Hope your body aches are better. And to any others that have had ilness, hope all are one the mend.

Lynne2 said...

oh Suz, are you OK?????

Linda said...

WV Dana - Loved your CO pictures on FB. Brought back memories of when we stayed in Dillon and skied the surrounding resorts. I noticed you were in Arapahoe, too! We skied there, too!

Just beautiful scenery with the snow covered mountains!

DanaMo said...

Lori-We did have the In and Out burger, although I wasn't impressed! I guess I like a thick juicy burger and these are rather thin.

Laguna was great. We are going back tomorrow. We rented boards again for the boys and tomorrow Annemarie is taking a lesson, she regretted not doing it today! What a sucker I am, this trip is costing a fortune.

Shirley-I love grammar girl. I have trouble remember so many rules even after attending Catholic School all my life, and now that I am a teacher I am more self conscience about making errors so I check with grammar girls to help me out!

DanaMo said...

Any visits? Looks like the cam is down again? Or is it my computer?

DanaMo said...

Oh forget it, the cam came up now. Must have needed to be refreshed. Duh!

Lynne2 said...

Glad you are having such a good time DanaMo!

Linda said...

Oh Lynn - Sorry you had such a problem with the water Saturday. I haven't caught up totally yet, but that must have been a nightmare.

And, for me, I can't have pork chops without the applesauce!!

NCSuzan said...

Lynne, thank you for asking. I am much better and hoping it continues! How are you?

magpie said...

Glad or GALD, Lynne ? LOL

okay, real clothes on....
You all take care of each other here...

last of the nights, go back to days, early next week
xoxoxo

magpie said...

Prayers for Candy's eye surgery

magpie said...

Jo Ellen: Glad you were a Girl !!!

Durango, love it Suzan....!!

okay, really, 'bye !

DanaMo said...

Posted surfing pictures. I think I will really use this alot next year for school. I like the way it publishes the link!

DanaMo said...

Sounds like my pups are settling in with the dog sitter. He says they have gotten into a routine.

NCSuzan said...

Thanks, Magpie.

Linda said...

Margy - Glad you will get back to a more normal schedule very soon!! You're so good to cover for a co-worker like you did. Hope her husband is doing better.

Lynne2 - What happened to you? Are you on orders to stay away from housework?

Hoda said...

Night light on and no visit tonight. The last reliable sighting was July 18th in the morning...a week ago today.

Linda said...

DanaMo - When you get back, I'll have to ask you how it works!!

Linda said...

I had the strangest thing happen to me yesterday while I was doing NOTHING.

All of a sudden I had an excruciating pain at the back of my ankle if I moved it in the slightest way. Something in the achilles tendon, I guess. After a while I was able to put some weight on it, but had to hobble without being able to flex my foot the rest of the day. Still is that way today, too. :(

If it isn't one thing.....it's another!

Lynne2 said...

Linda, not good about your Achilles tendon. Have you ever taken an antibiotic called Levaquin?

GALD!! LOL! It's a day for typos!

Lynne2 said...

I'm fine Linda....very anxious and nervous though. Selling Steve's truck was really practical...expensive to maintain, lousy on gas, etc., but very hard to do. He really loved that truck. I feel so bad for him. And I'm nervous about only having one car for the next little while til we find a good used one to buy. It won't be easy operating with one vehicle!

stronghunter said...

Hi Suzan,

Nice to see you tonight. So sorry you have not been well. Stick around awhile this time.

Hoda said...

Well The President just finished his speech. It is politics so I won't ask what do you think...I will just sayGod Bless The United States of America.

stronghunter said...

Yes, the ads on that Grammar Girl thing were a bit of a problem. I turned the volume off.

Linda said...

Lynne - I don't think I have taken Levaquin. I do have chronic plantar fascitis, and my heel has been really bothering me. Maybe it is all linked somehow.

I've iced it a few times and am taking aleve for any inflamation.

Dennis said it has happened like that to him before and in a day or so just disappeared. That is what I am hoping for.

I hope things work out in looking for a different vehicle. That is always stressful.

Don't worry. It will all work out. We Momsters will pray for you. Put it in God's hands. He will take care of you. Worrying only makes things worse for you.

I'll pray for you, Lynne!

Lynne2 said...

Thanks Linda!

I had surgery on both feet for PF back in the 90s. Worth it! But now, they have way better methods, including some kind of shock wave thing now. I got so bad that a year of physical therapy and custom orthodics didn't even help. I literally had to crawl out of bed in the mornings because I couldn't walk for a while after getting up. Most people do really well with PT and NSAID meds though.

Linda said...

HODA - The United States needs something. That is for sure. We won't get into political stuff, like you said, but we can all agree that these people we elected need to do the right thing by our country.

Linda said...

Wow, Lynne. I didn't know you had PF and so bad. I have been suffering from this since my pregnancy. Even though I didn't gain much weight, that is when it happened. I lost all that weight, too.

Of course I weigh more than that now, but it's been 24 years!

My doctor basically said the same thing after custom orthotics (which I have worn for 15+ years) and months of PT. He said the next step would be surgery, which I had shyed away from. NSAIDS didn't do it either.

I am rethinking the whole thing now because the pain is so bad. I sleep in night splints every night, which helps me in the morning when I get moving. When I stop and sit on the couch in the evening, it is hard to get up and walk because my feet get so tight.

I am trying to lose weight now and hope that it will make a difference. My guess is it won't be the solution, but it will help.

Linda said...

I just thought going in and cutting part of that ligament didn't sound right to me. What holds things together if they snip some of the fibers? Maybe I misunderstood.

Hoda said...

Linda, GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

hedgie said...

Bob Quinn's book is On Sale now!!!
The Wildlife of Blackwater Refuge

Lynne2 said...

what they did was....think of a tightly pulled rubber band. If you snip just a little into the side, the tension releases. Same thing with the ligaments. Then scar tissue will fill in where the snip was made. Best thing I ever did! I'll be now days they do it with laser. Back then, I was bandaged for 2 weeks, and taking a shower was very challenging! I only had one done one year and the other done a year later. But Google PF treatments....I saw a show a while back where they were doing the sound/shock wave treatment which is totally NON invasive.

hedgie said...

Hi Suzan! So sorry that you have been ill again. NO FUN! Glad you are home and hope that you are feeling much better. Durango? Cool! Significance???

Okay, Lynne--sorry about that. As I used to say at work----I wasn't hired to be a typist!!

hedgie said...

Gald? REALLY??? I'm sure he's glad to be home, and hope he's not galded from all that sitting, and I'm sure he's ticked at the gall of those "friends!!"

Hoda said...

Thanks Lynn for Bob Quinn's book link. It looks great.

Linda said...

HODA - Yes, Indeed! I pray for our President and our leaders every day. God put our rulers in office and He is in control.

Romans 13:1-2 says "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgement on themselves."

Lynne2 said...

LOL Lynn! The only reason I don't SHOW so many typos, usually, is because I use firefox and it has spell check!

Lynne2 said...

Hoda, that's a tough one to swallow sometimes!

Linda said...

Thanks, Lynne! I may reconsider treatment again, since it is so awful. I can't go anywhere where I have to be on my feet for more than 1.5 - 2 hours. Lately it is even less that that.

Lynne2 said...

well good people, I must get to bed shortly. I have exhausted myself with anxiety today.

Good night, and prayers for all!

Lynne2 said...

yes Linda, check it out....sadly, if it hasn't gotten better by now, it will likely only get worse as time goes by.

hedgie said...

Linda, please get to the doctor in the morning about that ankle/heel situation.....if it should happento be an early achilles tear, they can get it casted to prevent it from blowing out completely. And by then it's a real painful, traumatic situation.

Prayers for Candy's eye surgery to be totally successful tomorrow.

Linda said...

Night Lynne!! Will be praying for you! Take a deep breath and know that God is always there holding your right hand!! xoxo ♥♥♥

Lynne2 said...

oh yeah...that's why I asked about the Levaquin. Many who have taken it have had very severe AT problems. Best get that checked!

Good night!

Lynne2 said...

Candy is having eye surgery? When, what kind?

Linda said...

Oh gosh, Lynn, really? It seems to be a little less painful today.

I was hoping it would go away with ice and rest.

hedgie said...

I don't know what kind....it must be something relatively new, because Candy is blind in the one eye......don't know if it's something to address that, or something going on with the other eye. She never answered!!

hedgie said...

I've went through the PF stuff about 20 yrs. ago. The ultrasound helped a wee bit, but not much. Of course, tons of anti-inflammatories.....ended up having to have it heavily strapped after cortisone injections. It finally healed. Often with PF, there is also a spur in there that is constantly keeping the fascia inflamed. Podiatrist told me that I had the mother of all spurs!

JudyEddy said...

Just heading to bed and wanted to put input on the foot issue I had a bad case years ago when I was going to my Dr for my neck I had mentioned the pain on getting up in the am and from sitting he looked at my feet and said for me to change shoes being it had all of a sudden come on and yes I had just gotten some different shoes and that was doing damage I guess I was lucky to catch it before it got worse and I haven't had it back since OH I remember having to crawl out of bed I feel so sorry for you and hope you can get relief Powereing down and to bed Sweet dreams

Linda said...

Lynn - Were those pickle recipes posted on Friday for dill pickles or other kinds?

hedgie said...

Goodnight JudyE and Linda. Sleep well.

I had to resort to a pain pill for my scapula pain. Think I'm going to have to call Dr. for a trigger point injection. Can't bear much more of this.

Linda said...

I think I have had x-rays of the feet and didn't have spurs then, but I don't remember how long it has been. Can a heel spur be treated without surgery?

hedgie said...

Linda and Suzan--thanks for your added sympathies about my ordeal with the house!

NCSuzan said...

Lynn, Durango was my mother's name.

Linda said...

Lynn - So sorry you're in pain. The keyboard probably doesn't help things!

Does it keep you from sleep, too?

NCSuzan said...

Lynn, you are welcome but it sounds like a couple more pairs of hands would have helped too!

hedgie said...

Oh, yes, Linda...preferably...because surgery caused scar tissue that can cause a lot of problems, too. Cortisone and a-i's for them, too. Eventually, they encapsulate in a tough tissue, but it's also important that the fascia inflammation dies down. "strapping" really helps---and it has to be done a very certain way. Once things have improved a lot, gentle stretching is recommended. That basically consists of standing on the edge of steps with heels overhanging, and gently bouncing. HOLD ON TIGHT!!

Linda said...

That is the last thing you need when you spend money to get someone to paint your house and then they create a whole new nightmare for you.

Lynn - Is the guy still working on the house, or is it done?

I haven't completely caught up on my reading of the blog.

Linda said...

Suzan - I hope you're feeling better and taking it easy. So sorry to hear you were in the hospital.

NCSuzan said...

Well everyone, going to call it an evening. I have three nebuliuzer treatments now and it takes a while. Hope everyone has healing. Take care.

Linda said...

I had my feet taped a long time ago - probably one of the first times I went to the foot doctor. I think he did it to see if it helped and to determine if the orthotics would work for me. It's been so long I am not sure.

Maybe I should schedule an appointment with the podiatrist again and see what can be done, especially since this tendon thing flared up.

NCSuzan said...

Linda, thank you.

Linda said...

You take care, too, Suzan. Stay cool. Prayers for your healing.

hedgie said...

DanaMo--great pics. You'll need to teach us how to use Picasa for posting on the blogs!!!!

paula eagleholic said...

Take care Suzan, glad you are feeling better. Stay out of the heat!

paula eagleholic said...

we got 2" of rain here today! The electric went out 5 times...came up and the upstairs AC was off...it had finally thrown the breaker with all the outages, but everything was OK

Was out talking to neighbors...we put Nick and Coby (lab next door) in the back yard to play...they had fun.

Linda said...

Paula - Was reading about Nick chewing on your couch on Saturday night. Maybe he wanted to go to the beach this weekend........ I'm just saying......

stronghunter said...

I have to head upstairs for the night. Will see you tomorrow.

Hunter has football practice tomorrow. It's that time of year already! His practice for today was canceled--while we were en route. Rain with wind and lightning.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,
Gosh, I have been SO busy again today!
Just now got caught up on the blog.

Adding Linda, Suzan, Lynne2 & Steve, and Candy to the prayer list.

Surprised to find that my neck/trapezius/shoulder blade situation is almost normal today. I have been on the computer quite a bit, too! Thank GOD. Know what you mean, Lynn. Can only stand it for so long! Hope the cabin will be done soon, so you and Liesel can get back to normal.

I had to drop off some paperwork at school today, and got a confirmation that I only have 25 more hours of transcription to finish my Externship!
Want to try to get it done asap so I won't have it hanging over me any more.

Hoping that Margy has a relatively peaceful night at work! Whew, you've gotta be tired!

Well, I'm gonna try to get to sleep earlier tonight. Taking Emma out one last time, and hitting the hay. Prayers have been said for everyone, and for every creature. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep well, everyone! God bless, and goodnight!
Love all of you! :o]

hedgie said...

Linda, waiting for the house to dry out now for the preservative/fungicide/insecticide stain to be applied. And then he's going to repaint the fascia and trim. Probably another 3 days of work. Don't really expect him back until Sat. Garage is finished tho'.....it is only 6 yrs. old so didn't need stripping as it was never stained.

Yes, I would say a podiatrist apptmt. would be appropriate.

Geeze, Suzan---three nebulizers treatments? That IS time consuming! I only have to use one when I get sick---and it makes my lips hurt!

Linda said...

SHIRLEY - In your dill recipe you mentioned 1 small cyrstal alum as an ingredient. What is that and where can you find it.

Dennis wants to make dill pickles and I told him Friday we had several pickle recipes posted.

He is familiar with alum, but don't know what 1 small crystal alum is or how you purchase or measure it.

Thanks!!

hedgie said...

Pain pill has made me a bit woozy, but pain is finally easing. Going to get my bath. Will check back in a little while.
Love and prayers to all gone or going before I get back. It's been a fun day with all y'all!

paula eagleholic said...

LOL could be, Linda! No chewing today!

Hope the heal improves tomorrow!

Lynne, good to see you!

Linda said...

Thanks, Andy.....for adding me to your prayer list!!

Sleep well and hope yor're feeling even better tomorrow, too. ♥

paula eagleholic said...

Linda, I think Shirley said to leave out the alum!

Hope the pain meds help, Lynn.

Boy Andy, you sure have been hitting it on the transcription.

I didn't know Candy was blind in one eye.

Linda said...

Lynn - Sounds like you still have a while to go until your house is completed. So sorry it turned out to be such a HUGE headache for you. You just never know when you start a home project what you will face!

Thanks so much for your medical advice. It really is so invaluable, not only to me, but to so many here on the blog.

Also, is your Aunt Nellie's pickle recipe for regular pickles or for dill pickles? Dennis wants to make some dill pickles this week.

Judie said...

Linda, this may or may not be helpful but I will offer some information regarding plantar pain. As soon as you wake up, head for a wall. Face the wall standing arms length away. Feet should be shoulder width apart. Place your hands flat against the wall. Begin to slowly move in (stretch) toward the wall to a count of about 15 to 20 seconds. You should be able to feel the tendon in your heel and leg stretch. It may be somewhat painful. Do this exercise about 5 times. Sort of like a push up except standing. You should have some pain relief. It will not last so exercise needs to be done at least once every day. I had severe pain, cortisone injections, custom orthodics, custom shoes, and spent hundreds of dollars. It took about six months but I have been pain free for several years now. The exercise is free and it may work.

Linda said...

Thanks, Paula.

Judie said...

Paula, sorry about the sofa.

Lynn, sorry about the pain.

Jo, glad you are home safely.

The sandperson has arrived. The night light is on for anyone who may need to arise in the darkness and those coming in from the West Coast.

paula eagleholic said...

I thought Nick was scratching at the door to get in, but he was chasing after a moth, LOL

paula eagleholic said...

Oh yes, Welcome back Jo! Hope you had a nice relaxing time...except for the drive home!

Linda said...

JUDIE - Thanks so much for the information on the stretches. I should get up and do that every day. My problem is I forget the exercises, which is probably my biggest problem.

I appreciate your advice along with all the other Momsters who have experiences similar pain and ailements. This blog is truly a blessing!!

Linda said...

Well, my hubby is waiting to go to bed again!

I must sign off and say say good night to my dear friends here!!

LORI - So happy you made it home and your Mom is home, too. Sorry to hear about the bee stings. I hope you're better today. ♥

Thanks again for your advice, information, and most of all for your friendship. It is always a joy to spend time with you!!

May God Bless and Protect Us all and the critters we so love. Prayers for healing for so many tonight.♥♥♥

hedgie said...

Dang---haven't made it to the tub yet...

Linda---forget the alum for the pickles. Shirley looked it up---not good, and not necessary! Old-fashioned, but can be dangerous!

PA Nana said...

Linda, before you go!!!!

Another exercise for your feet you can do sitting.

Run your foot over a can - soup, veggies, whatever. Sure helped me

PA Nana said...

OKay, I've been up since about 5:30 this morning and I should "crash" soon.

Doubt I'll repeat today's early visit, but have really enjoyed "talking" with those I don't usually visit with.
Shirley, I doubt that's correct but I'm too tired to look at your website. BTW - thanks for posting it.

Goodnight everyone. God bless!

Hoda said...

I will wish everyone a good night and MARGY an night where you are able to exted a helping hand when called upon to do so...Prayers come your way.

Sweet dreams and God Bless everyone.

hedgie said...

Linda, my recipe isn't dill.....but it is SO good and SO easy......they are the kind that taste great on burgers and sandwiches!!!

Andy, way to go, girl! You are ALMOST done!!! Hope you continue to feel better.

hedgie said...

Thanks, Judie....I could not remember the particulars of the wall exercise for the PF. CRS disease here!!! And Diann is right about rolling the can, too!
And if you refrigerate the can first, you get the benefit of the coldness!

Turning out my light. Nighters to Judie, Paula, Hoda and Diann, too. Guess I'm bringing up the rear. See you all tomorrow! We are all so blessed to share so much.

Costume Lady said...

GG had her injection today. Won't know for a few days whether or not it HIT THE SPOT! She says she feels better already, but it is probably due to being numbed before the injection:)

Need to get in bed NOW! Soup Kitchen tomorrow.

Good Night...prayers for all
Sweet dreams~

Lolly said...

We are here. Spent some time at the beach then grilled hamburgers for dinner. Family all here...brother, SIL, their son, his wife and two kids. We had a ball! Talon is 18 mo. and he is just precious!

Time for bed now. We are exhausted! But wanted to say Hi!

Love and (((Hugs))! Sweet dreams!

Lori O. said...

Good Morning Eagle Family! I just can't think of you as anything less after the way you prayed and got me through my mother's heart surgery. She's doing great.

LINDA, my Dad had really bad PF for years, I'll call him to see what he did. He's a natural herb guy. No surgery for him or medication either. I know he had some kind of homeopathic treatment from a Hawaiian lady. I'll call him.

LOLLY, DID YOU HEAR ABOUT JACK'S
XRAYS?

Glad you all made it to the beach safely, Laurel/LOLLY! Love the name stories.

OH, these yellow jacket bites are the itchiest things I've ever had! Still taking anti-histamines and using Benedryl spray or gel, and the relief is only short lived.

Sorry that was my heavy finger that caused the delete above.

I looked at the forecast earlier and I think I'll have to keep my avatar up through the weekend. It's supposed to be 97 with a heat advisory on Thursday! 90's all week. Ugh, enough.

JUDY JEAN, I think my Diann problem stemmed from not knowing there was another Diane. When someone spelled it that way I just assumed they were talking about Diann, whom I will likely call DI in the future! But, DIANN, I love the spelling of your name!

DANA MO- many people are not impressed by the In N Out burgers. I think they've been hyped too much and it's hard to live up to it all. When are you coming home?

Welcome Home JO! I missed seeing that little Marvelous Marvin avatar. I swear, cutest cat!

MARGY, we've missed you in the morning!

PAULA, I think we may have to take a weekend trip to KAY's and straighten out her computer when the weather cools at the beach.

Have a good day everyone! Stay safe, healthy, happy and cool! Lower humidity today, YA!

It's still very early, well an hour away from eagles landingin the nest. The live cam is black with white static lines all over it. I hope it's working!

LORI, Suzan mentioned the need for 3nebulizer treatments, so I imagine she was hospitalized with breathing problems.

Enjoyed the name and age game that went on after we Early Birds got the ball rolling yesterday morning ! So many lovely names and most with meaningful family ties.

MARGY, it won't surprise you to know I think your choice of names for a girl would have been perfect ! There weren't many Julie's when I had mine. I fell in love with the name when seeing Carosel with Shirley Jones playing Julie Jordan.

Lori O. said...

JUDY E, 50 HERE! No problem with it. I wish I could let my gray hair grow like yours Judy and like it. It looks hideous on me.

So far I've not had to call on neighbors for help, but it's clear they are there for me if needed. I'm very lucky !

JudyEddy said...

LORI so fan you seem to be our youngest LOL

JudyEddy said...

That is so nice that you have neighbors like that My neighbors are cool also One time I had screamed really loud I think it was a car race and one of the boys came running over beating on my door to see if I was ok Didn't realize I was that loud and the window were open Which they aren't tooo often in Fl so I had to learn not to yell at the TV That was about 6 yrs ago

JudyEddy said...

opps it was suppose to be SO FAR not so FAN duh

JudyEddy said...

after I type it it comes to me in my email and that is where I find my mistakes oops

Lori O. said...

There's plenty younger than me, but I'm the biggest fan of you all!

KAY, you're 74-1/2 not 94-1/2 ! Havn't you heard 74 is the new 54? We're practically the same age. ♥

Lori O. said...

Truder has got to drop by today. He loves this nest and I don't think he can go that long without making sure he's still the landlord.

JudyEddy said...

All you wonderful eagle peeps have a great day I'm off to work

NatureNut said...

Good Morning Everyone. I see the big sprout is covering most of nest!!
I got up a little early today as my after din din Panda Nap lasted all night!!Saw a hairy woodpecker here and Bad Boy Hummer chasing a girl away from the feeder!
Hope everyone has a good gay~~~~☺

Lori O. said...

Bye JUDY - have a nice day at work.

Kay said...

Well, sweet Eagle Buds, I've just gone through the first shutdown. Yes, LORI, you and PAULA and maybe half a dozen others should all jump in a big van and boogie over here to work on my puter !!!!!;O)

JUDY, screaming at the TV and bringing your neighbors on the run---absolutely hilarious !

LORI, I hope you're right about Truder ! I long to see our birdies !

Lori O. said...

LORETTA! Good Morning. A drop in, we love it! Still waiting for B & T.

Kay said...

Bye-bye for a while JUDY. HAGD !

LORETTA, how sweet it is to "see" you here bright n' early ! And how wonderful it is that you started your day off in the company of hummers and woodpeckers !

Kay said...

Since it's nigh on to 7 a. m., I'm serving notice. If this puter shuts down again I'm just bowing out til' later today. Hope there is someone lurking who will come on in and help LORI watch for nestcapades. She has to tend to her work load in addition to being our Barista here at SSCC.

Lori O. said...

No problem KAY. I know your computer has been a pain. Don't worry. Truder and I will be fine here. :)

PA Nana said...

Good morning.

Kay said...

DI ! You're having trouble sleeping again today, eh ? Sorry, but we are so happy to have you with us !

T-Bird said...

Good morning eagle momsters and dadsters.

Lori O. said...

Yeeha! It's an early bird party.

Welcome back DIANN - two days in a row...you're 1 morning from becoming an official Early Bird!

THELMA, I think we are going to have to make you an Early Bird because you're here every morning. So, WELCOME THELMA and BUDDY Mugilacuddy! (don't think I spelled the right.) :)

Lori O. said...

It's 4:15 in California now, think DANA MO will be checking in soon?

T-Bird said...

Lori-You got that right.

T-Bird said...

I love my eagle peeps.

PA Nana said...

Yes, it's one of those sleepless mornings. Hubby woke me again.

Will have to get the earplugs out.

Good morning Kay, Thelma, Judy, Lori and anyone else that may appear.

I finished my first cup of coffee and think I'll stop at that. Was wound too tight yesterday and heart was racing.

I'll sit here and lurk a while.

Lori are you at work? I found your station yesterday but until I did you had already gone off air.
Want to hear you sweet voice.

lurking.....

Lori O. said...

YEAH!

THELMA/T-BIRD is officially an EARLY BIRD!

Sorry about the lack of sleep DIANN. I know how that can go with too much coffee. It's like rocket fuel being poured on the ground - no vessel to put it into action.

Lori O. said...

Sorry, DI, yes, I'm at work now.

PA Nana said...

Lori, gotcha! Listening to "Stand by Me"

PA Nana said...

... and now Michael Jackson. Makes me want to get up and dance.
Not!

Lori O. said...

And right now it's my song: California Girls! See, too much coffee and Pepsi this morning. Wired!

Lori O. said...

If you haven't had a chance to really look at JUDY E's avatar... click on it and check out the enlarged version. It's hysterical!

You're one in a million JUDYE!

PA Nana said...

JudyE's avatar is kinda creepy, but I could see the association to a woman who works in or out of the home at the end of a day.

Have a good day. Think I'll try to catch a few more zzzz.

Looks like KAY's computer needed a reboot and I bet she won't be back til this afternoon by time she runs it through all that antivirus doo-doo.

Lori O. said...

Sleep well DIANN. Great having you here this morning!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good morning eagle budlets!

T-Bird said...

Lori-I love that rocket fuel being poured on the ground-no vessel to put it in sentence."

Lori O. said...

I'm a geek Thelma. But as long as I'm laughing I don't care. :)

Lori O. said...

SHARON!!!!

Hello Honey! How are you feeling?
Are you taking good care of our newest Early Bird? ♥

Sleeep well MARGY. Sorry you've got these funky hours now.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Sitting here drinking my coffee. Will be heading for the beach soon. We bring our garden wagon, load it up, and cross the dunes on the boardwalk. Water is looking great and the beach has no seaweed. Sand castles here we ccme! See lots of wagons, but also lots of golf carts.

Jack did not call the doctor yesterday, but plans on doing it today. He actually did very well yesterday, so the muscle relaxer he is taking is helping.

Lolly said...

Going to get beautiful now. LOL You should see me....washed my hair after the beach yesterday and I did nothing with it. Look like a hag. Oh, well...heading to the water again soon.

Going to give the computer to Jack.

I'll be baaaaaaacK......!

Lori O. said...

Hello LOLLY! We miss you already. Thanks for checking in, and let us know what Jack hears about his X-rays.

Judie said...

Good morning!

Full day ahead for me.

Lori, hope your stings stop itching.

Wanda, sure wishing GG success from the injection.

Rolling the foot over a sturdy can, tennis ball, etc. is another good exercise to stretch the plantar fascia tendon. Can do that while blogging, t.v. etc. I found the "feet on the floor slow stretch" gave me more relief and finally permanent relief.

Wishing everyone a lovely morning.

DanaMo said...

Good morning.

Lori, I've finally adjusted to the time so I'm getting up more like 6:00. If I get up earlier the hotel coffee isn't ready yet!!

Lolly, glad the muscle relaxer is working for Jack.

I like the tennis ball can exercise, I might do it when I blog for my crampy feet.

Another day in Laguna for us, Annemarie's turn.

hedgie said...

Good Tues. to all. Currently 79°---not too bad....YET!

Lori, Suzan has COPD really bad, and has occassional crises and ends up in the hospital for serious respiratory help. Suspect it may have been another episode.

Catching up with AM comments, slowly but surely.

Linda said...

Nice and cool feeling here, too in northeast PA!! Good Morning, Eagle Family! It's 74° here. I'm good with that!

I just caught up from last night's posts. Now I have to go and finish Sunday night and Monday!! Whew!

Linda said...

Thanks for even more comments about remedies for my Plantar Fascitis. This Momsters group can get you through anything! Right, Lori??

LORI - Will be interested on what your Dad has to tell you about what he did for his PF. Thanks for asking.

Lori O. said...

It's our last day of watching the triplets at WCV - WOW, they've come a long way and tomorrow they will be set free.

I was reading some of the comments and I guess they will have a new webcam up. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it to watch the 5 eaglets afer they've been released.

Lori O. said...

Hi LINDA!

stronghunter said...

Hi,

Just wanted to say a quick hello before getting busy with today's jobs.

BBL.

Linda said...

LYNN - How are you feeling this morning. I hope you can take it easy and let things calm down in your scapula. Is it a muscle pain?

hedgie said...

Thelma and Sharon both on board, and even Judie chiming in! Good morning, all peeps!!!
As I mentioned yesterday, JudyE's avatar makes me think of a woman melting in the heat!!! I think we all know that feeling!

Lolly, hair is absolutely the worst thing to deal with at the beach....I usually get mine cut as short as I can possibly stand it!

Linda said...

HI LORI!! ♥♥♥ So nice to see you! Thrilled you're home and unfortunately having to heal from bee stings.

Just caught up on this morning's posts. Sure wish I could get up at that hour. I just love to sleep too much!!

Linda said...

I think I would still be sleeping now if I didn't force myself to get up at 9:00 today. That is terrible!!

Linda said...

LORI - How is your Mom doing today. After being home for a couple days, is she feeling much better. I continue to pray for her healing. ♥

Linda said...

HaHa!! I see yesterday morning Kay answered Diann's post about not being on the blog alone. She mistook PANana for me PALinda!!

Come on, Kay! Did you really think you'd see ME on the blog at 6am!! HaHaHa!! I wish I could be up at that hour!!!

Looks like you hadn't had your fill of tea yet!! That gave me a chuckle!! LOL

Linda said...

Sometimes while I read the blog, I picture us all in one big house. Wouldn't that be wonderful??

And when things happen like when we mistake one for another, I get a kick out of it. It could happen just as easily if we were in the same house. Get me another cup of coffee and maybe I can complete my sentences!!

My hubby gets a real kick out of me and my inability to complete sentences or even use the right words when I first wake up. I am a bit of a zombie, until I'm fueled with some caffeine!!

Linda said...

LORI & KAY - I also totally enjoyed the posts Monday morning and all the confusion!! Diann and Diane, Birthdays?? It's so funny when you read it and understand it (after the fact) and then see the posts where the next person misunderstood what was said. LOL

You two were on a roll trying to get back in sync after both of you being out of the loop for a while!!

Linda said...

KAY - We share the same Birthday!! Mine is January 25th, too!!

That will be fun to have someone special to share it with!

Linda said...

OKAY - So it's all me right now. I have the floor!!! Of course no one is listening, but I'm okay with that.

We all catch up eventually! By the time I am gone, those whom I addressed will get their messages!!

Love it!

Linda said...

DIANN - That is so neat you play the accordion!! My sister-in-law pulls hers out every now and then and she is great on it. I marvel at that talent!! Any musical talent!!

Linda said...

LOLLY - The Sea Hag!! I'm sure you're just as beautiful with hair gone wild!!! LOL

We have a place close to her called Sea Hag Soaps where the lady makes homeade soap. Great stuff!!

Linda said...

OK - more YESTERDAY'S news! Middle names and age!

No middle name for me :( Dad couldn't think of one he liked to go with my name. What's with that? I felt so deprived as a child!! Doesn't bother me now!

Age - 51 - never sensitive to that either!

Linda said...

I see HODA doesn't have a middle name, either!! I'm in good company!

Linda said...

MARGY - You would have been such a wonderful Mom. I guess that is why God gave you so much love in your heart to share with so many of us ♥

I always wanted a girl and had hoped the wee one I lost was a girl. I always loved the name Allison.

I must say that my son seemed MUCH easier than the girls my friends were raising!! LOL

Mema Jo said...

Good Late Morning Everyone
I am up/running & I realize I didn't say good night last evening - I just
konked out early so I missed saying it.

Nothing planned for today - beautiful outside - just finished putting out seed
& peanuts... funny when your gone the
birds and squirrels lose faith in their
feeders.

Hope I made it before the 3rd split.

Linda said...

MARGY - Welcome back to your life!! When you awake today, you'll get to have some time off and try to get back to a normal schedule, right?

Bless you for taking on those night shifts for your co-worker. You're truly a gem! ♥

Mema Jo said...

Linda - HI!
