No visit this morning from Belle and Truder... very hot and humid at the nest so maybe they're staying in some cool place they've found.

We have been praying for your mother and will continue until she is well again. She is going to feel so much better after this surgery is done and over with!
Will your work allow you to be with your mother when she has the surgery? Hope they are lenient with their leave time!
We are going into the church early this morning to get the grocery bags ready for our Hungry Guests. This is the day we have been looking forward to for a long time. Each person will take home a bag of groceries (if they have signed up and are eligible) Will let you know how they receive this extra bit of help and love from our group:)

I was going to tell my new way of peeling eggs, but see everyone has gone to bed. I'll post it again tomorrow for those who don't read this. Some of you may know this method, but I'm sure others don't.
AFTER YOU PUT EGGS IN POT WITH WATER, SPRINKLE SALT ON TOP. I USED ABOUT A TABLESPOON FOR 50 EGGS. I COOK MY EGGS TIL THEY BOIL, TURN STOVE OFF, THEN PLACE A LID ON POT AND LET SET FOR 20-30 MINS. DUMP WATER OFF AND RUN COLD WATER ON EGGS. ONCE THEY HAVE COOLED, PUT LID BACK ON POT AND SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE, TIL EGGS ARE WELL CRACKED. SHELLS NEARLY FALL OFF BY THEMSELVES. I FOUND IT WORKS BEST IF YOU ONLY DO 8 OR 10 EGGS AT A TIME. OUT OF 70 EGGS, ONLY 2 WERE HARD TO PEEL! GOOD LUCK...HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU TOO!

Lori, good to have you back here! Still praying for your Mom. Glad that things are moving right along. Before you know it, her surgery will be over, and she will be in recuperation mode!

BTW, Emma is feeling more like her usual self this morning. Think she may have found & eaten some tree berries or an insect that didn't agree.
