Had a child eat dog food once. I had gone to a Mothers of Twins meeting. When I got home, I found out that Will had eaten dog food and Kathryn had whacked Rus with a frying pan when she caught him under her bed listening to her phone conversation. She just whanged the pan under the bed before he could get out of there.(Dad had been in charge that night.) I never went to another Mothers of Twins meeting.

My dogs will eat anything off the counter if you leave it where they can get it. I've learned to put it on top the coffee pot. They have eaten, cookies, bread, pork chops, zuchini bread, you name it.
Big time computer issues with netbook----infected w/ a trojan worm virus. Never got a message that my virus protection had expired. Running a new update on it now. Never downloaded a single thing or opened any attachments today---just embedded photos from Suz and Loretta, which I do every day. ARGH!
Daughter says that the entire school systems' network was invaded today, too, so maybe there's something going around. Be careful! Check your security software!!!
Paula, GeeGee has a doctor appointment tomorrow and she is going to ask him to give her a shot of SOMETHING to give her some energy. If he has such a thing, I want one too!

Ban Harry Potter? That is ridiculus!!! Let's ban Snow White and any other with witches! This family is crazy over Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Last year Laurel was reading Harry Potter to her 7/8 year old son. He loved it.
Had Jacob eat out of the garbage when he was little. We were at Laurels, cleaning up after dinner. Michael saw him do it, did not stop him, just doubled over in laughter. Wonder if he would laugh if he saw Zach do it?

Banning those books is ridiculous. At least half of them were required reading when I was in school---and high school at that! And I think I turned out alright!
Ask docs about B-12. So many elderly people are not able to process it via food intake and require it by injection.
Oh, yes, I will most definitely get the Swine flu vaccine, as well as the regular flu shot!!!

B-12 will give you lots of energy. It's usually given once a month. Jo, your Kristine could give it to you. Wanda, I would give it to GeeGee.

Couldn't believe my eyes as most of those were required reading during highschool and lit class in college.

I am finally home, dogs fed, and time for bed. We released and captured Gabby today. Everything was normal when something spooked the birds at the tower and Gabby took off with the rest of the birds. He had been eating, had a bite of fish in his mouth when Janie grabbed him. No injuries or anything, so he goes back out tomorrow.
I am beat, long day. I will tell you more later.

Hi, everybody,
I just got home from school. The class was supposed to go till 10 pm, but the book shipment didn't come in yet, so nobody had the textbook. They're supposed to come in tomorrow. We had a lecture to listen to, and a slide presentation. Still got done early.
(That's OK with me!) Nevertheless, I am beat. It's after 8 pm here, and it's still 80 degrees outside!
Woof! It's official--I am DONE with hot weather! It was 102 on my patio today, and was only supposed to be 92. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 100--hope that doesn't mean it will be 110!!! I'm going to go watch some TV and unwind. Prayers for all, especially Dana and Janie, and prayers for a good night's sleep for all. God bless, and I'll talk to you in the morning. G'night!

I sent Steve a message of appreciation yesterday about our Live and Still Cams being back up, and also told him we had been seeing the Royal Pair for the last several mornings. He sent me this news about our cam:
"We are looking at doing nest/cam maintenance early next week, some time M-W. "
So, let's hope we get a whole lot of eagle viewing in to tide us over during those day.

Speaking of what dogs will eat -- when I was about 6 we had a Cocker Spaniel and I thought her food smelled sooooo yummy (anyone remember KenelRation?). So we enjoyed lunch together from the same bowl.

The only dog food my dogs would eat was ken-l-ration until they got old then it was mighty dog. Vet put dalmatian on a dog food for her kidneys. I could not stand to smell it.

Judie, good to 'see' you; thankful you're feeling better! The class I had last night wasn't as long as it might have been because the shipment of books for the class didn't come in. Had a slide presentation and a lecture, then got to go home early. Promises to be a "doozie" of a class, though. VERY interesting so far, though.
Took a quick look at last night's entries, and must mention that my daughter and family have two Basset Hounds! They got Copper Ale first (she's a sweetie!), and later got Samuel Adams (he's a real character!). The two of them and our great-granddaughter, Sierra, who's 3 now, all totally believe they're from the same litter!--and the two Bassets are not above counter surfing! Look out!

We just had our first fire drill of the year. Bright flashing lights and loud buzzers. Could not miss that one. Was tempted to hide out in my room, but I am an obedient soul, so I went out even though I have no students right now. Also wanted to get away from the flashing lights and loud buzzers.
Must batten down the hatches for my twelfth graders. Ironic that the oldest ones require the most attention and hand-holding, but that is the way it will be.

Finney bird has a fish now, parent must have dropped it off, it didn't arrive with one!
Everyone's schedule just changed, so not too many people are happy. I am definitely looking at changing, but those with daytime hours aren't giving them up right now.
They are permanent until the next big change. Those hours ruin the whole day as far as how my body functions. I am a daytime person and working until 8:30 each shift is the pits. It is 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
That would be me, Lynn, that mentioned Kendra before.
I am so excited. I get to see my Andrew tomorrow. He and Kelsey are coming in for the Beaver-Graham ballgame, then hopefully Mattie and I will ride back to Scott Depot with them tomorrow night, spend the night and see the WV State University Yellow Jackets Marching Band with a wonderful snare drummer!

Fubby just heard on news that Tree of someone from Shepherdstown has been picked for White House this Xmas. Fourth time for them!!
Just saw a fish drop from flying parent I guess to Sib in nest. I didn't watch last night and can't at work yesterday, but haven't seen Koo since pic Suz sent Wed. AM. So that was 2 nights out of nest for her I guess. Wonder where she is now?!Gonna check forums.

Had a disturbing phone call with mom. She said that sister is very sick...at first she said cystic fibrosis, but then corrected herslef and said she can't remember what it is. Says blood work showed many things, including Lyme disease, but admitted that she's confused so didn't really get any onfo. Of course, sis has never returned my last phone call 10 days ago, and NEVER answers the phone until after hubby goes to work in the afternoon. So....don't know much!
