No problem, Jo:) Sometimes I just forget to open the still cam. I just realized we are gonna have meatballs for dinner here tonite, too! Gotta run to the bank, actually I think I'll drive...
Hey, meatball lady! Glad you are planning on another go for tonight!! Did you all notice the talk about the emergency escape hatch? IF they are under 40,000 ft.....wonder how fast they can unhook and get out of those seats to make it to the hatch??
they will go out to dinner, then come back and have cake at Ceil's house.....MM has a ton of friends, that she takes care of, and they love to reward her on her BD, so she will be a busy lady today....MM is a true believer it is better to give than receive...
well hope they never have to use it, Lynn...we have come a long way from the 1st launch in "81", from sitting in front of your TV to watching on the internet.
HO, as Norma says....I STILL watch it on TV...but NASA channel is So much better than the old days of watching just a few minutes of live! Glad that MM's friends will spoil her for a change, and that Ceil has plans for her, too! Your folks can be very proud of all of you fine ladies!
Uh-huh, Jo...slowing down the help! When I was going through chemo I had a housekeeper who came in every two weeks---it was a he....and he talked the whole time he was here---another problem with a small house with open floor plan! I know I paid for gab time more than work time! ARGH!
Talk about MM friends. I just got back from buying a cake and her friend called and has baked one. Will freeze bought cake. Glad I didn't bake one. Saw a friend of mine she said I would have baked a cake. Should have taken her up on her offer. Can never have too many cakes.
Good morning! Had a yummy breakfast on the patio after reading the paper and then went straight to watering plants.
Been thinking about the man you had cleaning house for you, Lynn. How did he do? It just seems to me that men just do not see all that needs to be done. Jack vacuums and does the dishes in the evenings, but he does not wipe down the faucet and around the sink when through. Now, I would NEVER complain. He helps sooo much!!
Well, last night I went to bed with the TV on, Jack stayed up. I fell asleep listening and figuring the launch would be cancelled. Maybe if I take a nap this evening, I will be able to stay up later. The bottle of wine with our dinner did not help.
Joseph and Laurel are in school today. Found out last night that they will probably be here Friday evening.
Whoops! My keeper says it is time to exercise. Whew!!!!!!
I wrote a letter to the guy in Finland that Chrissy had spoken to about help for Koo. What I wanted to know was about the article he mentioned about a osprey with one leg living in wild for until it was 15 yrs old. I got a little information back from him. He stated the osprey caught smaller fish with the one leg. Did just fine all those years. So maybe Koo does have a chance.
Hi, eagle gang, Oops! Missed the split, so am bringing this over:
I'm back! Hi, Jo, you know, I wasn't sure about messing up the car with ads, but they're the kind that stick on by static, like those window decals, and shouldn't harm the paint. Here's the fun part--they pay you $600 twice a month for driving around with the ads on your car! (Or, for driving THEIR vehicle with the ads on it!) I'm checking into it to see if there's a catch to it, but if there isn't one, I say, sign me up!
By the way, pardon my manners! Thanks, Steve, for the new thread, and Hi, Margy, Helen, Dana, Jim, Ceil and Lolly!
Margy, Thanks--I changed to that avatar because that's the kind of weather I'm hoping for! The picture is from our vacation last year in Scotland. Hope we can save enough to go back next year! Shirley, eat a handful of that dark chocolate for me, will ya? Please! I can't have much of it any more. Hey, Jim, how's the weather doing down your way? It was really hot here, but the humidity was just killer! Got up to 92, with 90% humidity! Hope it's better there, since you're by the ocean! Sounds like MM is going to have a really busy, wonderful Birthday!
Helen, I would too! I wonder if the Osprey lived in a warm climate, like in California, so it didn't have to deal with really cold weather during the winter. I realize that both people and animals can manage to compensate for some terrible handicaps, but I still can't help being concerned for Koo.
when I get a chance will email the osprey expert, R.O. Bieuggard, (SP), don't know why I did not think of that before...he is usually good ant answering mail, but doubt if he can help
Well, have finished my walking/excercise and now my hair is wet. Lovely! Need to clean up and head out. Been searching for a birthday present for Ashley. What do you buy for a daughter in law that has a new house but has everything? I was looking for a wall clock for their patio, also thought of a gift certificate. I do not get her plants. She does not water them.
Tomorrow AM is my surgery for left eye cataract. I believe things will go as well as they did for the right eye. Certain that a prayer will help that come true. Thank You ( :
I received an e-mail from a friend in Ohio, asking for prayer for an 8-year-old boy, Samuel Gordon Bish, who was just diagnosed with stage 4 Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). It's in his right knee, and has spread to his lungs. It's a particularly agressive type of cancer, and will be treated with some agressive forms of chemo. Sam is starting the 3rd grade this year, and this treatment will be tough to deal with. His parents are requesting prayer for his healing. Please pray if you're prompted to do so. Thanks!
Dana - Good luck with your eye surgery. I need cataract surgery for one eye. I'm told it is unusual to have only one eye affected and that it must have suffered some trauma at some point. I shiver at the thought of eye surgery.
iT'S NOT so close to the ocean here, Bookworm, but I guess the breezes channel a little better than where you are in Anaheim. It didn't go much higher than 85° yesterday, but high humidity, for sure.
I remember traveling to Minn. for a family wedding once in late August (in the '80's I think), got detoured because of mud slides to Needles, CA, which is right on the Colorado River. I got there around midnight, stopped for gas and a bite to eat and drink, and the service station had one of those electronic signs with the temperature and humidity displayed. IT WAS EITHER 100% HUMIDITY AND 99°, OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND!! ...At midnight!
Good afternoon Eaglebuds. Been lokking around a little----was getting dark and Koo's nest is MT! Have to look again---will it be night in the nest?or another place? Wish there was someone there that could do commentary on the area!!
Mits don't have time to take a nap. Friends just left and dropped off flowers for MM. Men here for some work that has to be done. Megan will need help eating all this cake.
I've seen posts about the 15 year old osprey with one leg and thought it was in US. There are pics of others. One was in CA, I think. I think a link was posted here awhile back on one flying over water. I think that one is in Finland. I agree that if they lived in warmer climes, they wouldn't have to migrate. We need to go kidnap Koo and set her up in the South! Wonder where she's spending the night?
Been busy with school prep. I am NOT ready to go back!
Dana, tomorrow's surgery will be as easy as the right eye, maybe easier as you know what to expect. Still, prayers for you. Beginnings of same for both my eyes but early days yet.
Prayer for young Samuel. Children should be excluded from these illnesses.
Jo, enjoy tonight.
Ceil, enjoy the evening then send cake to bloggers!
Hi Bob and Jim.
Just hate seeing Koo all alone. Wonder if animals in the wild feel an emotion such as loneliness or wonder why parents/siblings don't return? Wish someone could help an otherwise healthy osprey survive.
Now to take a break. Almost time to peer into the frig for inspiration AND food.
Ceil, if she goes to Africa, she'll have to migrate back. She should be in FL, Gulf Coast or S. CA!!! Can stay there all year! ☺ Looks like a first---she's spending the night out. Will put some MT nest pics on in a sec.
Just checked on Bai Yun and think my eyes deceive me. Looks like a section of the den is open to the outside with much more light. She's facing that area. Must be wrong.
Good afternoon, my eagle budlets! I am sitting here looking at the Peaks of Otter, watching the breeze blow and listening to music! Saw a young buck out here in the yard yesterday playing around.
Hi gang. Back from my jaunt to the horsepital. Lots of chat to catch up on! Definitely prayers for little Sam--what an awful ordeal for a little one to have to go through, and for you, Dana---it will go fine! Never heard that about one cataract vs. two, Bob. I have one early one...only eye injury I ever had was when I was hand-sewing military stuff on a shirt and the needle broke and part of it embedded in my eye, but don't remember which eye it was!
Lolly, gotta say the male housekeeper didn't do a very good job....but considering that I couldn't have pushed a vacuum if my life depended on it, it was better than nothing!
Ceil, hope you can stay up with us! Everything is a go so far......MTBR!
Suz says that dad is the one who has been tending to Koo....says she hasn't seen mom in a week; one sibling still around. She says that male always comes first and starts nestorations and "closes up house" after everyone else is gone. Maybe today was the day that he finally told Koo "this is it, kid...time to hit the road."
Peaks of Otter must be a breathless view of the 3 mountains that make up the Peaks of Otter. Just went to google it... Right there in Bedford! Very peaceful I am sure, Sharon.
Thank you all for the prayers. I'm sure all will go very well.
Bob don't take a chance and wait. Honestly it isn't as bad as it sounds.
Awww now that's what I am talking about. Children and illness....dang...such a little fellow...Andrea dear you have my prayers for Sam and his parents.
Discovery Gets the "Go" for Tanking Tue, 25 Aug 2009 06:25:02 PM UTC-0100
The "Go" was given to load space shuttle Discovery’s external fuel tank. Discovery’s launch was postponed early Tuesday morning due to lingering thunderstorms in the vicinity of the launch pad.
The current weather forecast is 70 percent favorable conditions for launch. The primary concern is cumulus clouds and showers within 20 nautical miles of the shuttle landing facility at the time of launch.
Tanking commentary on NASA TV will begin at 3:30 p.m. and fueling operations will start at approximately 3:45 p.m. EDT. Launch commentary will begin tonight at 8 p.m.
Weather permitting, launch is scheduled for 1:10 a.m.
Lolly - Her first day of Pre K is Thursday of this week. Tomorrow she is to go in at 11:00 and meet her teacher. Then by Friday she will take over the whole class! lol
Jacob really enjoyed yesterday. He saw his best friend from last year on the playground. He also said nap time went by fast. He demonstrated to his mom how his eyes popped open when they turned on the lights after nap time. He must have fallen asleep fast.
Valve Problem Scrubs Launch Try Tue, 25 Aug 2009 09:01:00 PM UTC-0100
A problem with a fill-and-drain valve inside space shuttle Discovery's aft compartment has scrubbed the Wednesday morning launch attempt for STS-128. The launch team is evaluating the issue and has not set a new launch date and time at this point.
You can holler and wake up Hedgie from her nap on the couch since she doesn't need to stay up after midnight! Disappointing but glad they don't take any chances.
Good evening everybody, I have been lurking a bit.
Dana, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I would like to know how much difference the surgery makes in vision. I have an eye doctor's appointment on Oct. 3. I know I have cataracts, but do not know that I need surgery.
On Social Security--I think some elegibilies have been changed, but I do not know more than that.
I would like to be able to ride a scooter around the building.
I keep getting phone calls for someone I have never heard of. Debt collectors. I have told the callers several times that the person does not live here. They promise to stop the calls, but they just keep on calling. Frustrating.
One day I waited for about 30 minutes on hold to tell someone that this person does not live here. Finally gave up. They call, then put a person on hold for at least 30 minutes? Not a very effective way to collect money.
Maybe one of the dogs hit the keys. Good evening everyone. Mary Margaret had a good birthday.SHE SAID TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE CARDS AND BIRTHDAY WISHES. Plenty of cake for everyone. I want to go to Peak Otter or whatever. She the sights and go to the winery.
The way I am spelling looks like I have been to the winery. Only one Margarita and the girl asked if I wanted a double tequila in it. Told her no unless she wanted to drag me to the car.
While I took the Osprey in for surgery today, Janie was taken back in for more work on her hands. Today they decided to do the other sting from the catfish. I don't think she will ever touch a catfish again! She seemed pretty good tonight when I dropped off Toto. Tomorrow we will re-release Gabby.
Ceil, glad you all had a great party. Yres you'll have to freeze some cake for an Otter Peaks field trip. Sure sounds like that TV show!! LOL Saw T-Bird's cryptic messages----c & er hmmm?
I can't spell either & I haven't had any drinks, just can't see the keyboard. (Had 3 typing classes in school & still gotta look--think nails are too long)
I am mostly caught up. Dana, prayers for surgery tomorrow! Also for Sam for healing.
Toto did well, no poop shoots in my pick-up. I lined the back seat with a plastic drop cloth, just in case.
We made the trip well. Janie had put a hood on him to keep him calm during the trip. I would check on him every once in awhile to see how he was doing. I looked back about half way there and saw an eye. He somehow took off the hood, but he stayed calm most of the way.
When I got to Spirit Lake, I reached in my purse for the directions to the vet. Uh oh, I left them at home! I couldn't call Janie, she was in surgery, so I stopped at a gas station and asked for help. Two very nice ladies helped along with the yellow pages. I kept saying his name was Dr Ross. I was mostly right, Dr. Ross Dirks!
September 5-6,12-13,19-20,26-27 An Apple A Day Open House At Peaks of Otter Winery Enjoy the benefits of eating and sampling our many varieties of apples and taste Fruit of the Farm wine.
The vets office was busy, so there was no one to help with ToTo's surgery. So today, I held Toto's leg while the Dr. did the operation. It was very interesting to watch. He kept saying "Are you sure you can do this?" We did well together for a rookie, at least I think we did. :)
Shirley I bet you are anxious to put up on the walls or down on the floor the posters you got. But don't go riding a scooter around the building or in the hallways!
Deb, glad your trip went okay with To To...smart rascal getting the hood off! An dglad that Janie is doing better. Tell her she is in momster prayers! Hope things go well with Gabby tomorrow.
Well, ok, Ceil, but with the rust holes on the side, I can't guarantee it to be pest proof. No worries, Lolly, they list many different wines, several from grapes.
You had your hands full, Deb so I guess there just wasn't any opportunity for pics.
I sure hope Janie gets along ok with her hands healing. That has to be nasty stuff from the barb.. I had heard before about wearing Gloves when handling them.
I NEED SOME CAKE !!! and I'll take Ice Cream with it on the side!!!!
Guess I'll just eat my old graham cracker with peanut butter.. I sure don't like restricted diets at age 70
I didn't get pictures, I would have liked to, but it just wasn't possible. The surgery was to remove an infected Talon. Janie didn't like the way it looked, Dr Dirks agreed.
Hi Paula! Blog has gone wild tonight. Ceil has had too much to drink from partying today. Buddy is trying to blog, or maybe it was Thelma typing in code. Deb helped in surgery and Jo is rambling on about meatballs. Oh, and Megan is now renting out the blue van to guests. What is this blog coming to?
I am going to have to take a picture of the halls I have to make my way down each day so that you will understand about the scooter.
I am sorry I can't comment on everybody's messages tonight. I will end the evening by saying that I wish everyone well and hope you have a good evening. My legs are tired and my brain wants me to go to bed.
Maybe I won't get a scooter, but think I will get a nice comfortable stool. I am thinking a padded bar stool.
Deb, what an interesting day! And now you can be an official rehabber and vet asst! Maybe another career? Did vet sedate To To or just keep hood on? I would imagine he would have been wiggley. Read today about homeopathic meds used on ospreys and other birds that calms them. I missed that Gabby never went anywhere. I know the day they were to be released it was raining & they didn't want to go.
This is what happens when they call off the launch. People have taken naps in order to be up for the launch that was suppose to happen. Now we have to party on here.
Post-Scrub Briefing Moves to 10 p.m. Wed, 26 Aug 2009 12:47:38 AM UTC-0100
The post-scrub news briefing has been scheduled for 10 p.m. to discuss the postponement of the launch of space shuttle Discovery on the STS-128 mission. The scrub was prompted earlier today when a problem developed with a valve in the aft compartment of Discovery.
The vet put a tube over the Osprey's head and it was out in about two-three minutes. It only took about 5-10 minutes to come out enough to stand. It was very interesting to see.

Talk about MM friends. I just got back from buying a cake and her friend called and has baked one. Will freeze bought cake. Glad I didn't bake one. Saw a friend of mine she said I would have baked a cake. Should have taken her up on her offer. Can never have too many cakes.

Very peaceful I am sure, Sharon.
The Peaks of Otter are three mountain peaks in the Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooking the town of Bedford, Virginia. Don't ya just love Google?

The current weather forecast is 70 percent favorable conditions for launch. The primary concern is cumulus clouds and showers within 20 nautical miles of the shuttle landing facility at the time of launch.
Tanking commentary on NASA TV will begin at 3:30 p.m. and fueling operations will start at approximately 3:45 p.m. EDT. Launch commentary will begin tonight at 8 p.m.
Weather permitting, launch is scheduled for 1:10 a.m.
Just saw a squirrel holding a Belle/Lib sized stick like a barbell, and he chewed it in half! Must think he's Bucky Beaver!!
beautiful shot of shuttle with the ocean in the background
Yep, gotta love google...never heard of those mountains! Thelma and now Sharon must have a lovely sight!
well they changed views
Another reason for a Bedford field trip!
And there's always Peaks of Otter winery...
For the first time since VietNam, the Old Guard at Ft. Myers is sending a unit overseas. Now military funerals will take even longer at Arlington.
And Wanda and I will bring the Cheeses!
"Meatball" has arrived and so I am out of here for a while. She bit her bottom lip earlier today but she says No Needles!
It's not real bad.
Poor Meatball! Is she enjoying pre-k?
Noisy birds on the cam!
Lolly - Her first day of Pre K is Thursday of this week. Tomorrow she is to go in at 11:00 and meet her teacher. Then by Friday she will take over the whole class! lol
LOL Would like to introduce her to Jacob. They would probably be a riot together. He is sooo stubborn and bosy!
Dinner is over and I'm heading for the sofa for a panda nap! See ya' later.
Jacob really enjoyed yesterday. He saw his best friend from last year on the playground. He also said nap time went by fast. He demonstrated to his mom how his eyes popped open when they turned on the lights after nap time. He must have fallen asleep fast.
shuttle launch has been scrubbed.
Valve Problem Scrubs Launch Try
Tue, 25 Aug 2009 09:01:00 PM UTC-0100
A problem with a fill-and-drain valve inside space shuttle Discovery's aft compartment has scrubbed the Wednesday morning launch attempt for STS-128. The launch team is evaluating the issue and has not set a new launch date and time at this point.
You can holler and wake up Hedgie from her nap on the couch since she doesn't need to stay up after midnight!
Disappointing but glad they don't take any chances.
San Diego is showing ZZ
He is running all over the place - rolling and rolling.........
I don't know when it was announced, but Shuttle launch is scrubbed due to a stuck valve.
It's always something, but glad they find these things.
Sorry, hadn't seen that you wrote it, Helen.☺ Was over on the NASA site.
Heard the scrub just before I conked out...dog was on my lap so didn't get up to post!! Shucks!!!
I was looking forward to our launch party, and some BD cake...:)
forecasters are looking at another possible storm coming up the east coast for this weekend....yuck
Yeah, they are. Ceil and MM---freeze some cake for our next shuttle party, please!
My posters came today! I will put them up tomorrow.
c
er
I keep getting phone calls for someone I have never heard of. Debt collectors. I have told the callers several times that the person does not live here. They promise to stop the calls, but they just keep on calling. Frustrating.
One day I waited for about 30 minutes on hold to tell someone that this person does not live here. Finally gave up. They call, then put a person on hold for at least 30 minutes? Not a very effective way to collect money.
hi ya Thelma.....what's up???
how annoying, Shirley
Maybe Thelma is having issues with the blogger cop.
Hmmm...maybe Thelma is sending us a secret message.
LOL...I was trying to figure out T-birds' code!!
It is Thelma code..
Thelma, if you need help, type 911!
I am home, with lots to report. I need to quickly feed the dogs and I'll be back to catch you all up!
Is Sharon at Thelma's yet?
Maybe the basset hound is typing for Thelma.
Buddy...is that you???
Maybe one of the dogs hit the keys.
Good evening everyone. Mary Margaret had a good birthday.SHE SAID TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE CARDS AND BIRTHDAY WISHES. Plenty of cake for everyone.
I want to go to Peak Otter or whatever. She the sights and go to the winery.
Sharon is there and so are her dogs.
Deb hurry back.
Well guess we will not have a launch party tonight.
Oh cake...I'm so hungry.
Ceil, don't think you need to "she" the shights at the Winery!!! Love to MM!!
LOL So now we have Buddy trying to blog.
The way I am spelling looks like I have been to the winery. Only one Margarita and the girl asked if I wanted a double tequila in it. Told her no unless she wanted to drag me to the car.
George tries to blog from time to time. Walks right over the keyboard.
And Ceil has celebrated MM's birthday a little too much!
Oven dinging, brb.
Anxious to hear about Deb's interesting day. She who travels with birds!
Lolly think you are right.
Gotta wait around for Deb's news.
Poor Janie.
Deb how did ToTo due?
So, Deb, did Toto deck your truck with a poop shoot?
Ceil, glad you all had a great party. Yres you'll have to freeze some cake for an Otter Peaks field trip. Sure sounds like that TV show!! LOL
Saw T-Bird's cryptic messages----c & er hmmm?
Yeah, how's To To ? And what's in the oven?
Thelma's message is a mystery. I love mysteries!!
Hey Ceil - Let's see you type
She sells seashells down by the
seashore!
Maybe it is code!!
Megan wish I lived closer to you. I could help you with the flowers, feed you and we would be able to go to the winery.
LOL I love it, Jo!
Deb - you will be off on Wed to let Gabby take off Right?
Has Buddy been in the wine?
Going down the seashore next week. Yeppie. She will get some seashells.
Thelma - if you need help
Pick up the phone and Dial 911
lol
I can't spell either & I haven't had any drinks, just can't see the keyboard. (Had 3 typing classes in school & still gotta look--think nails are too long)
Is the road trip scheduled for SEPTEMBER ?
I am mostly caught up. Dana, prayers for surgery tomorrow! Also for Sam for healing.
Toto did well, no poop shoots in my pick-up. I lined the back seat with a plastic drop cloth, just in case.
We made the trip well. Janie had put a hood on him to keep him calm during the trip. I would check on him every once in awhile to see how he was doing. I looked back about half way there and saw an eye. He somehow took off the hood, but he stayed calm most of the way.
gee-looweez, left to hook up new phone, and came back and 35 posts to read.....yeppers, Ceil and gang are coming next week:)
Ross Dirks!
good luck tomorrow, Dana
September 5-6,12-13,19-20,26-27 An Apple A Day Open House At Peaks of Otter Winery
Enjoy the benefits of eating and sampling our many varieties of apples and taste Fruit of the Farm wine.
well glad you are home safe and sound, Deb...give Gabby a pet for us tomorrow
Ceil, I'd invite you over, but the only spare room I have is in the blue mkt. van...lol...
I like apples:)....only wine I like is pinot grigio
she won't mind, Megan:)
Deb so glad you did not have a problem with Toto
That's cause she hasn't seen it.
she needs a road trip:)
The vets office was busy, so there was no one to help with ToTo's surgery. So today, I held Toto's leg while the Dr. did the operation. It was very interesting to watch. He kept saying "Are you sure you can do this?" We did well together for a rookie, at least I think we did. :)
Sounds like you had quite an interesting day, Deb.
Wine should be made out of grapes, not apples!
Ceil can't drive tonight...she has been partying...needs a chauffeur.
Shirley I bet you are anxious to put up on the walls or down on the floor the posters you got.
But don't go riding a scooter around the building or in the hallways!
Megan I saw your blue van last year. No problem.
Deb nice job.
Wow, Deb, what an experience. What kind of surgery was it?
Jo, there is a 3D monie coming out next month...Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, think it was a book?
you can take your little meatball to see it
hell, I want to see it
Apple wine sounds good to me. When son lived in Boston. We had blueberry beer. Had blueberries floating in it. Pretty goo.
Deb, glad your trip went okay with To To...smart rascal getting the hood off! An dglad that Janie is doing better. Tell her she is in momster prayers! Hope things go well with Gabby tomorrow.
Deb, you might have to go back to school and change your profession.
Well, ok, Ceil, but with the rust holes on the side, I can't guarantee it to be pest proof.
No worries, Lolly, they list many different wines, several from grapes.
Evening, all!
How is everyone?
Went out tonight to get my haircut!
You had your hands full, Deb so I guess there just wasn't any opportunity for pics.
I sure hope Janie gets along ok with her hands healing. That has to be nasty stuff from the barb.. I had heard before about wearing Gloves when handling them.
I NEED SOME CAKE !!! and I'll take
Ice Cream with it on the side!!!!
Guess I'll just eat my old graham cracker with peanut butter.. I sure don't like restricted diets at age 70
Took the boys to see Ice Age 3D. It was good. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a children's book. Have it in the other room.
OK I'll take you and Meatball to see it. I saw it being advertised today on TV.......
I remember that book, it was a favorite here.
Shirley, how did your day go today? Glad you got your new posters!
I didn't get pictures, I would have liked to, but it just wasn't possible. The surgery was to remove an infected Talon. Janie didn't like the way it looked, Dr Dirks agreed.
Megan I can't believe the blue van won't be at the Market anymore. It is a floral relic.
Germany gang went to see Ice Age when they were here and enjoyed it. I like all the kids movies !
Jo I forgot to get the ice cream.
So, Ceil is gonna camp in the blue van?
What? No ice cream?
I've never heard of that book, sounds great.
I have some ice cream. Just bring that extra cake over here. :)
Deb - sounds like a really neat experience. Glad Janie is doing better.
Cool, deb...yeah, you could be a veterinary assistant...if your heart can stand it. :(
Have a good rest, Shirley. And padded is good!
Lolly - no comment!!
party at Paula's house:)
Shirley, you need a directors chair! Laurel has one and loves it.
Understand your being tired! Have a glass of wine, and go to bed.
I don't even like cake that much, and yet, I want some NOW!
Dana, I love that, a floral relic. We have driven it for 21 years, guess we got our money's worth.
Pary? I'll be there!
G'night, pooped Shirley. Rest well! You could borrow Judie's wheelchair---sure that she would share!
Paula, some of us are just punchy from late hours last night waiting for launch that wasn't!
Party??? with cake and ice cream...I'm in.
The day went well. Students were fine.
I am getting ready to launch into Beowulf with the seniors.
Good night all.
This is what happens when they call off the launch. People have taken naps in order to be up for the launch that was suppose to happen. Now we have to party on here.
Shirley good night.
Paula have cake will travel.
We have some ramps in the building. I could build up some speed going downhill in a wheelchair. Judie might be worried about what I would do to it!
Deb - Janie had to have surgery on her hand?
And you never did say what was in the oven!
And was that Buddy? Or did Thelma make it to the winery ahead of all of us?
Nite Shirley:)
Thelma is still a mystery....
You all are something else. Your interests are amazing.
Bless you all.
The vet put a tube over the Osprey's head and it was out in about two-three minutes. It only took about 5-10 minutes to come out enough to stand. It was very interesting to see.
Megan, I knew there must be a way to make money with the van, an adventure in sleeping!
wish you could have taken some pics....I think you would make a great vet assitant.
SPLIT COMING UP:)
Yes, spend a nite in the garden, enjoy the sights and sounds of the country in a rustic antique floral van. BYOB
