Phew, that was a chore to get here. Had to sign in again. Grrrrrrr. Morning, all. The kids were fed about 6-6:30ish this morning. Parent came in, gave them leftovers, and left. They had an early breakfast. Don't know what else I missed. Scotland ospreys are arguing about a fish one of them brought in. Still 2 eggs. One has the fish caught in talons, oh, never mind, that was dad and now mom grabbed the fish and is eating it. Ok, no she flew off with it. So guess it's dad's turn to sit on the eggs. He has his talons all curled up and is so gentle. Oh funny, there he goes moving the moss out. OH, there are 3 EGGS!!!!!! OMG, just saw that when he moved them around. W0W, wonder when she laid egg #3. At least I think I saw 3 eggs. OMG, what a woman! Dad is rubbing the sides of his bill on the moss. Trying to clean it, I guess.
STEVE!!--HEY!!! We can listen and see the EAGLETS on this beautiful morning---Thanks---We are 'HAPPY CAMPERS'!!---Truly hope that you are getting things repaired!!--Best of Luck-----
Good eagle watch Morning everyone The eaglets here are doing ok.I went after work yesterday to check on them and found both adults were gone so i think with three eaglets to feed it's going to take both to keep the food supply coming.
Have a safe drive home, followed by a great day, Suzanne.
I think I'll get some coffee, etc., and see what I can see about the Pope. Found a site on-line yesterday that showed his whole address to the bishops.
Good morning Dave and Jim. Dave, I saw your pics, and your babies are adorable!!!
Jim, thanks, I try to stay safe. Wow, sounds like an interesting site. The Pope has been on the news all morning. Don't know if they showed his Mass or not, can't watch.
SUZANNE---I think I just saw him--'marking' that tree!!---Laughing so hard I can't type!---Marking isn't the right word?---He covers his estate --- never seems to take too many short cuts!! ho!
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great eagle/panda day. I actually got to see ZZ on cam today! First time in a long time. Scottish osprey is just having a fit over a piece of wood in the nest. Keeps moving it, then scratching. Puts it one place, then moves it back where it was. Not happy with that whatever it is. Snow is melting on the ground at Finney's nest. Nest is already clear of snow. Ok all, outta here. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
The reason I asked this crew is behaving like are last EAGLETS did!!----The 2 older ones hang together & #3 is alone!---That's why I seem to be watching her!!---She seems so alone!!
Thanks Bob read the article...boy they sure put their nest on a very busy road. I can that is testament to what was said about "not enough territorial nesting ground left for eagles".
Thanks BOB! What a marvelous story----I hope the POST will continue to follow them & keep us updated!!---Only one word to describe them---MAJESTIC!!----I so enjoy watching them!!----WOW!!!---
DEB---PAULA is right---Every time we have gone to the nest--The EAGLES are always on a limb above the nest!!----STEVE said that the other day---We were worried that they had left the EAGLETS alone--- He said he saw the parent EAGLE on the limb above them---
Back after watching the Pope. Was just going to inform you about the Arlington eagles. Thx Bob for posting the article. Amazing isn't it! First time I've seen any info on our famous Wilson Bridge George. I hope he didn't take up with the Floozy! Park news is our ospreys in cam nest have 3 EGGS. Got pic of cam I'll put on later. While watching eagle nest, I saw two little flashes in front of and next to Mom of thin brown object. I'm guessing it was a tiny wing tip! Since leaves are coming out, guess I will start observing w/binoculars.
Guess the "big, brown blob" I saw before was adult's shadow. Now they're eating an older fish. Tiny was the 1st one begging, but the little piggies have muscled in.
Looks like Belle, she didn't bring any food, but chicks have started peeping, she went to the back of the nest, and then looks like she flew up in the tree, and the chicks looked up also.
I see one parent left...can't see any chicks right now, must be laying down in the nest. Just checked Maine forum, someone saw 2 yesterday also. I did a video from yesterday, but hadn't processed yet. Was too tired last night
I found the zoomy thing, but lost the cam in the process. On the left corner of the cam there are some controls, if you put your mouse over them. I tried and lost my picture and can't get it back.
DEB: Good info from OK site about our absent parents.....
Week Five: Male and female parents bring relatively equal amounts of food. Parents begin spending more time away from the young and often perch in nearby trees.

Deb, they are adorable. All those little babies clustered together.
STEVE!!--HEY!!! We can listen and see the EAGLETS on this beautiful morning---Thanks---We are 'HAPPY CAMPERS'!!---Truly hope that you are getting things repaired!!--Best of Luck-----
Now the duck is back down in the box, she was perched on the side of the box.
DEB---I saw them earlier--THE BEST!!---Can't seem to get the site to open now!
They are trying to get out of the box now.
Check out the Finland nest. The osprey have brought in a whole bunch of sod balls! Guess they're gonna claim it for real, now.
ORGEON NEST--MT---Less snow & more sticks!!
They are almost all out of the box already. They are fast for new hatchlings, only 2 left.
Come on you little guys - Wake up & make some noise!!! Thank you Steve & NCTC/FWS....
Good Morning Everyone
Watching the wood duck excitement
Hurry over they are leaving now!!!
OMG, they sure are. Quick little things! Looks like 5 eggs didn't hatch, so she has 15 little ones to watch!
Come on little ones - climb up there & just jump!
Now only one left.
I hear a towhee from our cam and have one out here!! How cool is that?
That last little guy doesn't look like he wants to go. But he's all by himself, so come on little guy, you can do it.
Poor little one, go join the rest!
I can just view the refresh pics, but it looks like he's trying but keeps falling back in the nest. Is that what's happening?
That is cool Sharon!
Here is last year's jump...
Link to Video Parajumpers
I think so, too, Suzanne.
There we go, a little human help to get the last one out.
Awww, all gone.
Oh Deb, did someone come and lift him out?
I want to hear Lib arriving at the nest with a fish!
The TX WOOD DUCKS have FLEDGED!!
They opened the door on the side of the box and then on the next refresh it was gone.
Paula, a flopping fish would be good.
Jo, that video is adorable! They just take the plunge, shoot out of that tree like little rockets!
Ok, thought it was lighter in there. Loved Jo's video.
Thanks JO!----I think this year's
DUCKLETS are cuter!!--May be it's the lighting!!! ho!
Looks like the snow has melted on Finnney's nest. Sun is shining right on it. Still snow on the ground, tho.

Eagle in OR nest is eating.
Done eating, doing nestorations, now both there.
If you've been dying to see Fatty the Crocodile at Pete's Pond, he is sunning himself upon the bank of the pond now.

Good morning to Suzanne and everybody.

SORRY JIM----I can't now--but thank you!
Good morning Dave and Jim. Dave, I saw your pics, and your babies are adorable!!!
Jim, thanks, I try to stay safe. Wow, sounds like an interesting site. The Pope has been on the news all morning. Don't know if they showed his Mass or not, can't watch.
Oops, good morning, Dana. You came in while I was typing!
INDIANA DAVE----You will be a GOOD PARENT!!---ho!----Wishing good health for your EAGLETS!!!
Egg turning, Scotland.
Ok, saw 2 eggs, not 3, so guess I was seeing shadows earlier. Or something.
MORNIN' LOVELY DANA!!---Have FAITH-----the sound was on when I logged on & still there!!----Isn't it wonderful!!!---Hope you are feeling better!!
There goes Baby Littley to the Spunky Spot!

Now I have sound but no pic. Just says "connecting".
I am somewhat feeling better, Normabyrd. Trying to get back to the land of the living! :)
Quiet on our nest,
Look at BWE chicks feathers, starting to look pretty :)
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great eagle/panda day. I actually got to see ZZ on cam today! First time in a long time. Scottish osprey is just having a fit over a piece of wood in the nest. See you tomorrow Suzanne then it Friday your last day ( :
KEEP WATCHING FOR HELEN ON TV!!---I BET SHE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY!!!----So HAPPY you were there today HELEN !!!!
Chicks are looking restless...ready for lunch
Now they have all traipsed down to this end...oops one just headed back...
I think they must be looking for Mom and Dad.
Sharon, my RP is still working fine
Tiny may try to fly.LOL
Is anybody else having trouble with the live feed? Mine is connecting, connecting, connecting and it has sound but no pic.
Mine is doing ok - Not sure if I have the sound - earlier I did.
Tiny best get away for the edge....
SHARON---I have my RP up---but I have been on phone & now--I notice the EAGLETS haven't moved for quite a while!!!!
Sharon, believe it or not, after almost 2 weeks, I have Live Feed and SOUND!
You know what...if one of the other 2 chicks should bump into tiny, he would be over the edge!
I agree, move back Tiny, that is too close, makes me dizzy watching. My player is still working fine.
SHARON---Just reloaded the RP & I am fine now!!!
Okay, restarted my RP and it is working now. Thanks!
What a sweet sound...must be hungry. Come on Mom or Dad!
DEB---what birth # is the lighter colored EAGLET?---Is that #3?
Man, Tiny is right on the edge of the nest.
Yes, Norma, the lightest one is the youngest one.
What a little daredevil!
I don't get nervous watching these guys, but he is making me nervous
Feeding in CO
There goes Baby Littley back to the Spunky Spot!
Feeding Peter cottontail in CO
Whew, I feel better now, all 3 at the back of the nest
I left the room for awhile and couldn't see Tiny at first, my heart dropped, then I found him.
I wonder how many more times they will make us hold our breath?
Nothing since 6:30 this morning. This is new to me, should I stop worrying where Belle and Lib are?
I wouldn't worry, Deb
BC chick sitting up, looks good...wish that egg would get out of there...it's not gonna hatch
BC chick just did a tiny lil poop shoot...hope he gets fed now.
OK, I'll stop, that's a relief. They had moved the egg yesterday a little, so I thought it would be gone today.
Deb. that is the last time I saw them also.
Aah, lunch has arrived at BC - YAY!
Chickie knows it too!
Awww, it's hungry...snatching that food quickly
Sure do wish Baby Littley would quit moving toward the edge.
Love it when we have sound to go with the visual on the poop shoots!
I love how our chicks are finally learning to walk, but they are still clumsy!
He does seem to like those edges!
Out for errands....BBL
Did you all see the article in the Post today on the eagle nest on the GW Parkway?
Article
Well, I did now- thanks Bob! Can't believe they would build a nest on such a busy highway.
The reason I asked this crew is behaving like are last EAGLETS did!!----The 2 older ones hang together & #3 is alone!---That's why I seem to be watching her!!---She seems so alone!!
Thanks Bob read the article...boy they sure put their nest on a very busy road. I can that is testament to what was said about "not enough territorial nesting ground left for eagles".
lol..tiny is trying to hide in the shade of his siblings body.
well, so much for that idea...
I know Paula said not to worry, but it has been a long time hasn't it, for no parents in the nest? I would feel better if they would show up.
The leaves on the ol' sycamore should be out soon, hopefully that will provide some relief for our chicks...they look hot today
Chrissy sent an e-mail, she can't get on the blog.
Deb, they could be right above or nearby out of sight
Thanks BOB! What a marvelous story----I hope the POST will continue to follow them & keep us updated!!---Only one word to describe them---MAJESTIC!!----I so enjoy watching them!!----WOW!!!---
Can you all hear the pitter patter of little (I mean Big) feet?
I know, Paula, I keep telling myself that. It is just hard to get used to seeing them alone on the nest for so long.
Wow, nesting in the median strip, no less!
DEB---PAULA is right---Every time we have gone to the nest--The EAGLES are always on a limb above the nest!!----STEVE said that the other day---We were worried that they had left the EAGLETS alone--- He said he saw the parent EAGLE on the limb above them---
YEAH, I am so happy now!
Feeding time at our nest
Thank goodness...FOOD!
There ya go Deb!!
Listen to that peeping!! Music!
Wow, having sound on is great...know when something's happening, like now! Lunch is being served.
I bet the little 'BUDDIES' are warm!!---temp here now is 81°---Bless their little hearts----
I will get used to the new level of parent activity, first day jitters!
Must be a mammal....
Man they are grabbing it before parent can get it pulled off the carcass!
How would you like to hear all that constant peeping at your dinner table? :)
This looks like Liberty to me
Hee hee it's wonderful I had to turn my sound down alittle lol
DEB---Don't you think if we had to listen to all that squawking---we might do what BELLE & LIBERTY does too!!! ho!
Looks like a leg there...
PAULA---I think you just took the words out of my mouth!!---(swear i hadn't read yours)
I wonder how far out from the nest you can hear all that peeping!
Did you see the middle one tugging on it while Lib was trying to tear it off?
Have to do some work!!----But I DO enjoy hearing the little ones!!!
I think they are still hungry...( :
I think they are, too, Dana.
Wow, I guess it's all gone! Feeding stopped suddenly!
Yea, that's Lib....I guess Mom isn't nearby, otherwise she would have followed him right into the nest.
Where is Sharon?
That chick was trying to get under Lib....soo funny! About pushed him off the nest! So he got out of the way and took off from the left!
I think I just saw SPIDEY in real life crawling around on the cam...
MR RP went down but I got it right back up/running..... Can't tell if I have sound since they are sleeping..
That is not MR RP it is
my RP....
Today's Wood Ducks Fledging
These are just the still pics
MR. RP is running great here:) lol.....
Adult just flew into nest-
MOre food! That chick was calling out like a pro!
LOL - did you hear that, JO??
Wow, loud screaming! Chick or adult? What's the dinner appetizer? Looks like a big, brown blob. Not a fish.
Man what a view - Pearl is really really large! No wonder the adults aren't in the nest all the time.
I sure can hear them............
I guess Middy is going to stretch out & come up to the feed.....
Crap, lost my video of that nice landing
Yeah! Tiny got some
I see Tiny is starting to get some dark feathers - Once she does - we may not be able to tell them apart so well much longer.......
One flew out
They all ducked their heads
Guess the "big, brown blob" I saw before was adult's shadow. Now they're eating an older fish. Tiny was the 1st one begging, but the little piggies have muscled in.
So funny....a Tiny BIG wing flap & then a P.S. you could hear!
Chicks have been snoozing at the back of the nest. One got up and did a ps and laid right back down...
Heading out here soon, my Mom is coming up and we are going to dinner for my birthday...will try to do some videos later tonight...
OK cam has been fixed. I am watching now to see if I can tell how many chicks there are.
Both adults are in the nest right now, so can't see anything yet.
Parent back our nest
Looks like Belle, she didn't bring any food, but chicks have started peeping, she went to the back of the nest, and then looks like she flew up in the tree, and the chicks looked up also.
What are you watching Deb
Oklahoma? They got theirs fixed, I think I saw 2, maybe 3 chicks there yesterday
GOT IT _ OK cam...
Yes, that is what I am watching. I didn't know it was fixed. The last time I looked it was still down.
Chicks are a peepin for dinner!
I hadn't tried it in awhile, but it was on yesterday...don't know how long it's been back on....can you see any chicks
I see one parent left...can't see any chicks right now, must be laying down in the nest. Just checked Maine forum, someone saw 2 yesterday also. I did a video from yesterday, but hadn't processed yet. Was too tired last night
I have seen 2 for sure, but it is hard to see them.
I just checked Maine, also. Sounds like the cam just got fixed this week.
Have you used the zoom in thingy?
There's one now...
Now 2
Right now you can see one clearly by the post in front.
"Our nest" just went down can't get back yet.
I lost mine, too, Dana.
Deb for OK what thing to zoom is Paula talking about. I can't even see in nest?
Dana, I totally missed the zoom in question, went to feed the dogs. I don't know what she is talking about, I can see the nest, but no zooming.
For some reason OK nest doesn't stay up only about 2 or 3 minutes. Then it is hard to get for some reason.
I found the zoomy thing, but lost the cam in the process. On the left corner of the cam there are some controls, if you put your mouse over them. I tried and lost my picture and can't get it back.
I would send Steve a note about the cam, but his internet is down and he wouldn't be able to read it.
DEB: Good info from OK site about our absent parents.....
Week Five: Male and female parents bring relatively equal amounts of food. Parents begin spending more time away from the young and often perch in nearby trees.
I have the Sutton OK site but no picture on cam. I can get the 6 small controls to come up but without pic-no sense in doing it.
Yes, that is good news! I can't get that cam back open now. OR is acting goofy, too. I am not sure if it is my computer or the sites.
I have also lost my Live Feed
I got OR back, but not the best picture. I will try OK again.
No go for OK.
Well, shoot- lost live feed too-connecting........NOT
My live feed is gone...
DEB the OK guy say they only turn the cam on every now & then! So that is a hit & miss situation......I had been reading the ME forum notes
Feeding, our nest.
Thanks, Jo, I must have just lucked out when I opened it today.
So we have lost ours and Ok. well 8pm starts tv channel 9 for me. I'll be watching that and trying to get our cam back and Ok. back.
Me too, Dana.
We can survive with Survivor.
And CSI.
Where's Helen? I'm anxious to hear her account of her day with the Pope.
Yea there Wanda ( : sounds like we are going to be watching same thing on tv lol
I'm off to watch Survivor, BBL.
SPLIT IS A COMIN'
