my live feed is in the loading mode....AGAIN....can't be because of volume of people on, eveyone is still in bed, but the beautiful sea eagle is in the Finland nest, looks alittle snowy there.
OK, I don't agree with the theory that too many people viewing the live feed is the problem. I'm no computer geek, but it seems like another issue to me, and I am still unable to open any FWS site for over 2 weeks now. And I shouldn't say this, cause it will only jinx it, but my live feed is running perfectly.
get out of town!!!!!, Megan, yours is on......I don't agree with the volume factor....mine goes out in the dead of the night if I keep it on, I just don't like keeping the computer running....and when I use other RP's I have no problems, I'm thinking of calling a terrorist to see how I can get into government sites.....JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My live feed has been on since yesterday, the only reason I don't shut my computer off at night is cause I'm never sure it will come back on..gonna have to break down and take it to the shop, just means I won't have it for 2-3 weeks:(
Good Morning - sorta dismal out there. 30 sec cam only for me .. Looks like another nap time in the nest. Checked out most of the other cams.. I think it is going to be a slow blogging day for awhile....
Good Sunday Morning Everyone. Chilly and raining down here today & live cam is down. Rain was supposed to quit in AM, but my hubby's old car show got cancelled, BOO. Saw babies got fed and are now napping on 30 sec (8 min) cam.
Good Morning all. Just wanted to let you all know a forum for NBG was started. Come on by and check it out for any info.... http://www.hostingphpbb.com/forum/index.php?mforum=nbgeagles
Good Morning all, I slept in and really net because it something either the alarm clock or mother nature wont let me do very often. I'm still in the PJ club.
PH is enjoying a beautiful morning.Mom on the nest. Norfork is wet but hanging in there. Washington is waiting. Nothing at Kent. CSUB is a big ball of fluff. Would recommend to anyone with children. Easy to view and so sweet.
Well, I walked away but the adult was getting ready to feed the chicks the fresh catch that had just arrived, and it looks like everyone has been fed and is resting. Adult must be perched above, chicks are snuggled up together.
I checked out Sea Eagles yesterday and the one in Finland is probably the White-tailed Sea Eagle. Saw those other strange birds there awhile ago & looked up crows. There is a Hooded Crow found in Europe--looked a lot like those. I want to know what kind of crows are in the Windex commercial!!!Have white collars.Have to do more research...
Okay, just wrote a book and the blogger ate it. Think I will try it again.
Just got home from the slumber party at Patty's. Had a wonderful time and even spent time in her hot tub last night. That was just quite spiritual and relaxing.
I did see a few hawks this weekend but no eagles, but I do keep my eyes to the skies just in case I see a raptor fly. I was able to get the still cam up on Patty's computer but not the live feed. I come home and can get the live feed but no still cam. I do not have any idea what it is what it is, but -- it is what it is!
I saw where Kathy in WV said she is from Princeton. How cool is that? 10 miles away from me. I will have to look her up sometime.
The BWO pair seem to be hanging in there, even through the rain. And they are slowly adding nest materials. Maybe there will be a family of Ospreys there yet.
P.S. Deb, Just looked up those Finland crows again in Wikipedia & they are also called "Hoodiecrows". Makes sense as to what Mits said earlier. Now we're learning about birds all over the world! How cool is that?
It is fun, isn't it to learn about new birds. I am, also, enjoying watching the nest building at Kent. I just wish they would get the other cam going there, because we miss a lot, I think, not having the third cam on. Today there are lots of new sticks.
Mom found a leftover and fed most of it to one chick. Just had a pecking at siblings...this can be serious....goes with survival of the fittest and maybe the biggest. Have seen the smallest pecked at 3 times in the last hour. He/she will put their head own and lay still for a defence tactic. This last one was middle sized chick pecking at the biggest and littlest. Have they been fed today?
Good afternoon eagle friends. I just saw both parents at our nest. Is Little Bit okay. He seems to be a little lifeless. And I might ask the same question .>> Have our chicks been fed today. Paula,Mits, Megan, does anyone know? I'm sure if anyone does it would be you three or Jo. Has Sharon been on today. I'm writing a book LOL, and this is the nest chapter I guess. Thanks for any answers. donna
I couldn[t tell what they are being fed, but I think Little Bit is getting some. It seems Middle One is not responding well right now. It is what it is as Mits husband says. donna
Donna - all 3 eaglets don't eat the same amount at each feeding, sometimes one gets more than another, then the next feeding, the one that didn't get as much gets more than the others....it's all pretty even at this point.
Mel, 2 years ago they had 3 eaglets to fledge successfully and all came back to the nest just fine. I think with the parenting skills that Liberty and Belle have, the chances are really good that our babies will make it!
Thanks, Deb. I was watching the last feeding in CO. Only one baby was being fed. Could hardly see the other, it was covered with fluff. Hope it is okay!
Welcome Mel, and thanks Paula. You will become addicted Mel, to Liberty, Belle and the triplets. Forgive my bad manners, Hello Heidi, Lolly, Deb, Sister Sharon, Jim (if you are still here) and Megan. Mits and Jo must be busy. Has Norma been on today? Glo? It is 72 degrees here today and beautiful., I'm on my way to church, where prayers will go up for all those in need, BBL after church. blessings donna
I love live feed. Would you just look at that wonderful mass of eagle fluff in the nest!!!!!! Be still my heart. God's in His Heaven All's right with the world. donna
Well, here we go again on the live feed! Baby Littley took a nice poop shoot and then Pearl pecked him right down, then my live feed froze! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!
Belle is getting her 40 winks in early...the chicks are laying in the bowl...and she has her head tucked in...one just scooted over and put his head under her...
Back for awhile. Held my breath & waited a few & Walla!!! my live feed is up. I can see night light on & Belle's head tucked & Spidey's web started to go around. I'm assuming that those darkish spots are the you know whos! Chilly out this evening as temp drops a little - I guess feathers & fluff keep you warm.
Sharon BE sure you click on Paula's blog & watch the video clip called Lullaby Everyone else not having seen it should also watch... It has to do with the mimicking what Belle does with the fluff covering. It will steal you heart!
Had a ball with them, Megan...get to babysit them on Tuesday, with my sisters, we always have fun and just laugh the whole time we are there with them.
We had a good time. We went shopping and had dinner with a friend who was celebrating her 23rd birthday. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory, it is so good!

Good morning, world. Spritzing out, but not too cold. 44° in PA, 43° here in VA. Belle is on the babies, head tucked in. She looks wet. Lady BW is on the twins, and she's awake and looking around. Darn, sea eagle just took off. It's really getting foggy there, now. Both Belle and Lady BW are asleep again. Belle has her feathers spread out showing her white back and tail feathers. Well, never mind that, she just closed them as soon as I typed that.

Good Morning, Megan, Mits and Paula. Come on Live feed!!
It is cloudy and cool here today, snowing in Oregon, still 3 eggs in BC. There is a sea eagle in Finland.
morning Deb, I've been watching Finland....looks like a little rain /snow there today, or their tonight
Add raining to my weather report, must have started while I was opening cams.
I was trying to decide it the eagle had a wet head there, it looks a little soggy.

Thanks...
Eaglet at Tesoro
SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS.....if I can look at cams all over the world, why does this one not work????? How much will it take to fix it!
Here it is:
Finland
Very strange indeed... usually though when so many people start having problems, it eventually causes all of us to lose the feed.
My live feed has been on since yesterday, the only reason I don't shut my computer off at night is cause I'm never sure it will come back on..gonna have to break down and take it to the shop, just means I won't have it for 2-3 weeks:(
Parent back at our nest with a fish!!
both osprey in Conn.
Looks like breakfast time at our nest

Prayers for all...and Hugs
Good Morning Iris - I hope your sun comes out because our's is sure hiding up here!
One lone osprey at BWO platform.
Can't tell if female or male.
Saw the egg being incubated on the CT nest earlier. Puleson nest was MT.
Our 3 little ones are still in LA LA Land. Loved the Lullaby video clip Paula. Tiny was doing what she/he saw mom do with the fluff cover up!
Taking a break.. BBL
YAY - got the work issue resolved from home...don't have to go to work today!
OUr chicks look huge today - I think they grew overnite again!
Good for you, Paula. 7 days in a week is too much!
Rain has stopped here, but gloomy. Now we just need live cam to come on.
Good Morning all, I slept in and really net because it something either the alarm clock or mother nature wont let me do very often. I'm still in the PJ club.
My live feed is working fine.
I bet that eagle in Findland is going to increase the nest. there is a stick over the metal box nearest us that wasnt there yesterday.
nothing at Maine
chicks alone at BWE
one osprey at BWO
PH is enjoying a beautiful morning.Mom on the nest.
Norfork is wet but hanging in there.
Washington is waiting.
Nothing at Kent.
CSUB is a big ball of fluff. Would recommend to anyone with children. Easy to view and so sweet.
I forgot I had taped some yesterday morning! Since our sound is out, I added a little music! This is why our chicks are getting so big!

Paula I really feel lazy but it 9:47 here. Your just plain relazin...:)
Well I had better see what I can do with this morning before it all gone. BBL
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE...
My live feed also does not work this morning. All 'promises to load,' no 'do load'....
Otherwise, the morning looks to be moderately beautiful from the perspective of So Cal. [:~)]
Mits, I can't find what I'm looking for in Finnish. Didn't they have an English version last year?
Jim
MMMMMMMMMMM_ squirrel or baby grounhog for lunch!!
My 30 sec. cam hasn't gotten that far yet. At 12:55:55, great pic of one BIG yawn. Think it was Pearl. I saved it. "My, what a big mouth you have!"
Eagle in the snowy OR nest.
I don't know what kind of bird is in the Finland nest.
I think there is an eagle in Kent 2.
Eagle in OR flew up to branch, but left a print in the snow.
Now you can see the head of the eagle at Kent 2.
we call them Hoodies, Deb.......Jim you have mail
Big stick just wnet into Kent 2, can't see the eagle much, Just the top.
nice to see eagle at KENT
Good afternoon to all!! Just returned from church. No live feed, just a black screen that says playing.....but it's noooot!
Paula, enjoyed the chow line video, especially since we do not have the live feed.
Looks like it shall be another day working in the yard!
Deb, they were calling the eagle in the Finland nest a Sea Eagle.???? That's all I know! :)
Well, I walked away but the adult was getting ready to feed the chicks the fresh catch that had just arrived, and it looks like everyone has been fed and is resting. Adult must be perched above, chicks are snuggled up together.
Thanks, Lolly. The sea eagle looks like a golden eagle with a white tail. This was a smaller black and white bird.
The eagle has been at Kent for quite awhile. At first I wasn't sure it was an eagle, since I could just see the very top of a shoulder (?).
Whoa- poop shoot form one, and then right back down to snooze.
I JUST GOT MY REAL PLAYER UP BY DOING THIS:
Click Tools > Preferences.
Expand the Content area and select Media Types.
Click Advanced.
Checked types RealPlayer plays by default.
I just lost my live feed:(
DARN, MEGAN, just got mine up.
I just tried loading the live feed again, and up it came....

Holy moly- I actually reloaded and it came right back up! Anyone esle have the live feed running?
Ok, yes, maybe someone pushed the reset button for us- LIVE FEED IS UP.
read above, Megan
I retried the live feed and I am up now! Yea!
Hooray!!! Live cam on! Adult baby-sitting. :-)
Well, thank goodness, seemed like I was the only one with the live feed and I was feeling guilty.
Nature, that is what Lisa from BW said they were the white-tailed sea eagle....I'm thinking the hoodies are called comarants or something like that.
Right before the live feed came on, they had a good feeding, they are really sacked out.
Eagle gone from PH, can see babies!
I can't recall when our chicks hatched, but the two oldest ones are getting huge!!
[:~)]
Jim
I got it up, too. Thanks for the hooded crow info, Naturenut.
Okay, just wrote a book and the blogger ate it. Think I will try it again.

Now you can finally see Bai Yun at SD, so maybe ZZ will come into view soon.

P.S. Deb, Just looked up those Finland crows again in Wikipedia & they are also called "Hoodiecrows". Makes sense as to what Mits said earlier. Now we're learning about birds all over the world! How cool is that?
Eagle off nest and feeding in CO.
Parent our nest on the left, watching over the chicks laying in the bowl.
It is fun, isn't it to learn about new birds. I am, also, enjoying watching the nest building at Kent. I just wish they would get the other cam going there, because we miss a lot, I think, not having the third cam on. Today there are lots of new sticks.
Back for a rest. I need sit down time once in a while. getting old is no fun. Live feed working well in Nor Cal.
Our 2 oldest chicks were 3 weeks old on Thursday and Friday, the youngest will be 3 weeks on Monday!
YAY - I got the live feed back!
Jim is right, those chicks are getting big, and look at those big feet:) these two eagles are good providers. Gotta go get food for the humans...bbl-
Eagle at Kent #2
Well, I am happy! Our chicks asleep, and saw those at PH and CO fed. Time to get out of church clothes and into yard clothes. BBL
Mom has moved down closer, the eaglets are snuggling together
Both eagles in OR.
The Finnish name for the hoodies are.. "Naakka," in English it is called "Jackjaw", the pic #2 on the site is of a Jackjaw nest.
Heidi needs a bath and a clip. BBL
eagle in OR nest looks cold out there.
It does, with the wind and the snow, Mits.
Feeding time our nest
Thanks for any answers. donna
The Hummingbird chicks are close to fledging now.
AND if I read the "News" right, the female has already begun setting on freshly laid egg(s).
[:~)]
Jim
Eating time our nest.
I see Tiny got a full crop this time.
Did anyone see what they are being fed?
[:~)]
Jim
I couldn[t tell what they are being fed, but I think Little Bit is getting some. It seems Middle One is not responding well right now. It is what it is as Mits husband says. donna
Osprey in the Wildwatch nest.
Donna - all 3 eaglets don't eat the same amount at each feeding, sometimes one gets more than another, then the next feeding, the one that didn't get as much gets more than the others....it's all pretty even at this point.
Welcome jkatci - I believe this is the 6th feeding today...
Parent just zoomed out to the left.
No, that was a regular takeoff...no alarm folks...
Kids are all sacked out in the bowl.
I hope someone can answer my question. I am a new eagle watcher. I would like to know: What are the chances of Libby and Belle fledging three chicks?
Mel, 2 years ago they had 3 eaglets to fledge successfully and all came back to the nest just fine. I think with the parenting skills that Liberty and Belle have, the chances are really good that our babies will make it!
And welcome Mel!
Parent back at our nest
Eagle at Kent 2.
Dinner with family
BBL
Tiny just backed up from the cluster & did a P.S., then crawled back into the middle of the pile. So funny.
You can really tell how much they have built up the Kent nest today.
Welcome Mel, Lib and Belle are super parents. I'd bet on them any day..
I agree Deb. I have been watching Kent off and on today and there has been allot of activity
Rain and cold in BWE and Nor. wish I could send them some our sun. bakersfield owls fuzzy and warm.
Has anyone been watching BC today? I have not been able to get on. Must be a lot of people watching.
I have, Lolly, nothing happening so far.
I've peeked in at CO. After looking at the eaglets there these seem huge!
Thanks, Deb. I was watching the last feeding in CO. Only one baby was being fed. Could hardly see the other, it was covered with fluff. Hope it is okay!
Back to the yard! BBL
Welcome Mel, and thanks Paula. You will become addicted Mel, to Liberty, Belle and the triplets. Forgive my bad manners, Hello Heidi, Lolly, Deb, Sister Sharon, Jim (if you are still here) and Megan. Boo Hoo! My live feed just went down :0
Gotta do dinner anyway
BBL
Well, here we go again on the live feed! Baby Littley took a nice poop shoot and then Pearl pecked him right down, then my live feed froze! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!
I am the next to go, just lost my live feed.
2 osprey at BWO
Feeding at BWE
Feeding just finished at our nest
Mine just went - Waah! Just got back from the grocery store! No Fair!
Hey, what was I crying about? Mine came right back on....by the way everyone was talking, thought it wouldn't :)
Mine is back, too, Paula.
And mine is back too!
Our eagle looks absolutely gorgeous standing there...too bad we won't know when we see these guys as adults.
OK, phew- came home and cam had stopped- came right back up thank goodness.
WHen I went to the store, hubby drove by nest- I didn't have my binoculars but you could see the adult eagle standing tall in the nest.
Like mother, like daughter. Pearl is working on the fluff!
It's really hard to tell the size of the BWE chicks looking straight down on them...ours look bigger from our cam angle.
Belle is getting her 40 winks in early...the chicks are laying in the bowl...and she has her head tucked in...one just scooted over and put his head under her...
Visibility is not great at Norfolk right now, but everything looks normal as far as the nesting procedure goes.
[:~)]
Jim
When were the eaglets fed last? They are really snoozing.
Feeding at CO. Oh, they look so little!
Lolly = they were eating at 7 when I got home from the store.
Eaglets have been stirring. Belle walked around some did some nestorations.
Looks like Belle is going to get some sleep.
Eagle gone from CO nest. Third egg looks whole!
The 2 little fuzz balls in CO nest are soooooo tiny. Hope 3rd one comes soon so not to be too downsized.
Sharon BE sure you click on Paula's blog & watch the video clip called Lullaby
Everyone else not having seen
it should also watch...
It has to do with the mimicking
what Belle does with the fluff covering. It will steal you heart!
Paula, if your email is the same as last year, you have a message from me.
Basically, I need that formula for "clickable links" that I gave you guys last year.
It was lost in the crash.
Thanks,

Belle was awakened..... But head tucked right back under wing..
Cold Case in 20 mins!
I'll send it right to ya, Jim.
Thanks, Paula,
I think I just heard it arrive.

I am looking at Kent Cam 2 and am amazed at the amount of sticks brought into the nest today. They were busy eagles!
Hello everyone, went up and had dinner with the grandbabies, what a treat:):) My cam was done when I came home, but got it to come up right away.
Hello, I bet you had fun with the m&m girls:)
Had a ball with them, Megan...get to babysit them on Tuesday, with my sisters, we always have fun and just laugh the whole time we are there with them.
I guess we are having a 10:00 stretch in our nest......
Belle is awake...
Eagle was just at Kent 2 with another stick, but i couldn't type as fast as it disappeared.
It is in Kent 1 now.

It's amazing how much has changed in one day, isn't it?

Sounds like you had a good day with the family. It is nice the family is close by.

I think it was there this afternoon. I was so busy comparing your morning picture to the bird in the nest, I didn't think to take a new one. They looked like different birds to me.
well think I will pack it in for tonight...GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE....I think you are right, Deb, there was one there this a.m. that looked different.
Night, everyone.
