no eagle up in MAINE, but I have never heard so much seagull yelling when it is this dark???
Just turned it on, it is noisy!
it reminds me of when fish are running and the gulls just kinda keep diving after them, but so unsusal with it being dark unless there is a fishing boat nearby
I went and read on the Maine forum. Someone wonder if a bait boat came in. Another saw lots of ducks earlier today, they could be adding to the noise.

Had a great day outside working. Jack built a fire in the chiminea and we have been sitting outside enjoying the beautiful evening. Plan to cook dinner and eat on the patio.
Sorry it rained Paula. Maybe tomorrow will be a great day for you to work outside.
I have daughter and two grandsons coming tomorrow to stay the night and stay Sunday. Will enjoy them and not work outside, but sit and watch the boys play. And, push them in the tree swing.

We really had a steady downpour for an hour or so earlier this evening.
The kind of rain you wish for when it's so dry during the summer. It calls for rain tomorrow in the area.
Looks like one of them or all 5 of them moved that very large stick that was on the left side in the nest.

Deb - the barn owl cam at Wildwatch turned out to be very very sad!
It had such a good start with the 6 eggs.
I have decided only to watch Great Horned Owls - They have fewer eggs & they most always survive.
I am anxious to see what baby heronetts do! They must eat a variety of things!

Pretty intense storms passing by nest right now. Heavy rain and lots of thunder and lightning.
Pulled up NBG cam - I think there is an eagle in the nest - I haven't been keeping up to date - Are they incubating egg(s) there?
CO eaglets look like ours did about one month ago! Ours are the Best Fed On The East Coast!

I would think it is the Osprey up on the camera. Earlier I saw the male osprey on the platform..

Nice action shot on the BWE page. I saw that call, but only the last second or two...too quick for me to snap a pic. Don't see any tenting going on down there.
Ground here should be nice and wet for digging tomorrow. So long as there is no thunder or lightening, I can go out and dig in the rain.

We got 1.69" of rain yesterday. It was supposed to snow, but luckily, it was too warm. Parts of SD got 15" of snow, yesterday. ICK!

Just saw the Finland sea eagle. What a beautiful view. Wish the eagles would get that nest, even tho I like ospreys, too.

I heard & saw what I thought were frogs in shallow creek at farmhouse office today! They were TOADS!!Seems they mate in water as well as lay eggs there! Got some pics I might put on (but I guess not the X-rated one!)
The other osprey nest FINNY's is not on yet, Paula....the osprey nest with the sea eagles has the ferries in the background running back and forth, earlier today, their late afternoon, there was a cruise ship that went by, but it sailed into some fog and I could not get a pic

Yea, I found the Saaksi cam....not back on yet....
couldn't find any other sea eagle cams at present...the one in Holland - the eagle built a new nest and there isn't a cam on it. Did find some cool pics and one possibly in Scotland....have to check it out when the lights are on...might just be a hotel, but hey have reintroduced sea eagles there, they have tags on them like the Channel islands eagles...

Just saw one of those hooded crows fly away at Finland.
Just came in from our evening around the chiminea fire. Belle was still awake and sheltering the eaglets however it looks like she is asleep now.
Nice to have nest in Finland to watch now!
Okay....I do not understand what is going on. Looking at the nest in Finland. Presently I do not see and osprey, however when I click on it to zoom in...there is and osprey. And, his position does not change.???????

Watch WAY in the center background & you might see a ferry boat. I think I saw a big sailboat too awhile ago.

I have been watching them, Lolly, they have been mating, a little speed boat just went by, been watching the one in Scotland also. Thye have been the only cams I have been watching today....so far, if it works I watch it

I was going to type that no osprey in Scotland. They are panning behind the nest off to right. There is a lake there are two osprey diving for fish.
Before I could type that. They panned back to nest Osprey female flew in and dad right behind her then ontop of her.
