It is 63° here and raining fairly hard, with big drops of rain. We still are under a severe weather alert.
Well, my dish went out a couple of minutes ago...got the second dog in before it just started coming down in sheets.

Thanks Paula but no she has long beautiful eye lashes...Well its sounds like the rain is starting here and daughter called to say wind is picking up... she mention tornadoe... Naaaa but i got out the oil lamps and candles in case the lights go out... All is quiet at the nest and here to sis is sound asleep snoring... Taking her back to hospitol the 19th for stitches to come out... The we are going to ride down to Blackwater for the day!!! Hope to see alot of wildlife!!
I would say that we can all rest easy tonight.
Local forcast looks like the worst is past now. Heading northeast to Hagerstown. Looks like the nest may be in the clear for the rest of the night except for a sprinkle or two. Still getting some pretty good gusts here and light rain. Weatherman said chance of tornadoes very slight north of Hagerstown.
Thank you ladies for letting me share in the hatching of the second egg. We are behind by l so I had better call it a night and get rooting for my team. You all have a peaceful and restful night. Tomorrow brings a new day with new things.

Winds keep gusting knocking things over which the dogs feel the need to inform me of. Like I didn't hear that chair on the porch turn over and hit the side of the house.
Weather Channel still saying the worst has passed us. Not showing anything towards Inwood. I think they are crazy.

Good night, everyone, what a great evening it was seeing the second egg. Hope your storms move on quickly. Poor Belle, I bet she wishes that, too.
Either Belle turned around or Lib came in. I was watching and walked away. When I left Belle was facing 1:00 with her head under her wing. When I came back, somebody was facing 7ish with their head up. I am not very good a judging size unles they are standing.
I'm really happy that Belle came through with the second one, and Paula got a video of it.

I just peeked at Belle, and as I did, she got up, took a leisurely break, turned the eggs and sat back down pointing at c. 10:00 o'clock. (Actually saw 3 white masses, but it's too early for that, I think.)

Not bad out tonight at all! 45° at home, 54° here, but windy on the way down. No wind here yet.

Belle's standing tall now, has her wings fluffed out a bit. My boss came in a while ago, and said it was DOWN to 51 when he arrived about 20 minutes after I did. It was 54 when I got to the garage! Guess we've hit our high for the day.
Wow, just checked the cluster map from yesterday...910! We're gonna hit a thousand hits for one day here pretty soon!

I'm up again and very tired, but I wanted to say "hi" before hitting the sack.
Yeah, our Belle came through this evening (around 8 pm I think)...guess she must have laid the first one Sun night--Mon morning before the cam was fixed. I was not on-line at the time, and I had looked right after dark, but I thought it would be much later in the evening. So I took care of some other business.
I think it might be warmer there than it is in So Cal right now. Have a nice, warm day...hope to talk to you later.

Morning, Jim! Thanks for the time that she laid the 2nd egg. I was wondering. I figured she laid the first one on the morning of the 4th, like you, right before the cam came back on. Or the night of the 3rd.

What is your temp? Can't be very cold, is it? Guess the temp is dropping now. Thought it was supposed to go up a bit, then cool off this afternoon, but what do I know. Just do know it's gonna get back to very cold typical February temps for the rest of the week and the weekend!
If you go back to sleep, sleep tight. Are you feeling better?
Belle just turned her two eggs! I got to see them. Thank you, Belle!!! I feel very honored she let me see both of them. Way to go, Lib and Belle! Now we start the countdown till hatching date, 32-36 days or so. 9-13 Mar or so. HOW EXCITING!!!!

Belle tried to hold off laying egg number 2 for one day to hit your birthday, but eggs and babies come when Mother Nature says it's time!

I see a Technical Note on both BW web pages, but BWE appears to be working. I didn't check the pic after I saw the note, but eagle has changed positions, and has head under wing. Head was up when I brought the cam up. So maybe it's working now.

Belle went through some really rough weather right after she laid the second egg. It rained hard and the wind was gusting pretty fierce at times, but she HUNG IN THERE.
Right now it is 45° here, going up to 48° and is still very windy. Snow showers Sunday.
WHAT A WAY TO SPEND YOUR BIRTHDAY, HELEN. BUT AT LEAST YOUR SURGERY IS OVER AND YOU ARE ON THE MEND. WE ARE ALL THINKING ABOUT YOU AND PRAYING FOR YOUR SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Morning, Wanda! Very exciting! What a birthday gift for Sandra, but if she had the egg at midnight, she coulda hit both Mits' and Sandra's birthdays. But she was close. I'm just so very glad we got a 2nd egg! I think she laid the first one either late on the 3rd or early am on the 4th. That would make this one 2 days after the first, so that would be good for hatching! Kinda hope she stops at 2, though. Easier on her body, and easier on both of them raising the eaglets.

Looked at BWE again, and I guess the pic is not updating. Thought the eagle was in a different position, but maybe not.

I know its wonderful to watch them on the time lapse picture, but I get very impatient waiting for the 30 seconds to pass by.
