Btw, we closed the petting zoo and Miss Piggy went to a good home not far from here. We opened a new small petting zoo with lots of cavies and bunnies, and a couple of ducks and chickens. I miss those animals of mine something fierce! But I felt I wasn't able to give them the proper care.

I'm excited about the live video. The only bad part is that I won't be able to watch from work anymore then as they don't allow stream videos. Bummer!

TENNESSEE YESTERDAY WILL MOVE EAST LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND SLOWLY
WEAKEN. IT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID ATLANTIC THIS EVENING AND
TONIGHT FROM WEST TO EAST. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP
THIS EVENING THAT MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND POSSIBLY AN
ISOLATED TORNADO ACROSS THE REGION.
THE BEST ESTIMATE ON TIMING IS AS FOLLOWS. WESTERN MARYLAND AND
EASTERN WEST VIRGINIA WILL SEE THE STORMS BETWEEN 5 AND 7 PM. THE
STORMS WILL MOVE EAST...REACHING NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND WEST

The wind is still very calm here and no rain. Hope Jill is right and the storm will pass us by. It does often when they are calling for severe weather.

We have that weird IR light coming on strong now. 12 and a half hours before it goes away. Better than nothing. I wonder what it will look like when we have our Live Feed?

I would like to know what the opinion is of the experts at NCTC. Like, do they think the egg will be alright after not being incubated all night. What Glo said earlier, made sense, but what do they think at NCTC?
I think there will be a 2nd egg laid for 2/7 we will see it.
Brad just checked the weather and it looks like most of the storm is passing to the west of us. A bit windy but not too bad, no rain right now.
BELLE-you really don't want to upset these ladies, they want an egg tonight. Trust me, give them what the want, life will be much easier. LOL
Wanda I think we can go by what Lisa said about incubation of the eggs & I have also read this many times that
Until the whole Clutch is laid - that incubation may not be constant. Here is the tear jerker however & it's what happen down in Tesoro last season. The parent will incubate an egg not knowing it is not any good! So after x amount of days and no hatching - Then is when they know they have wasted their time.

Stormy weather was moving through the area Wednesday night, and we may have lost power in our computer room. We'll have to reboot the computers on Thursday morning.
I notice the osprey cam was not updating right before I left work, but I didn't realize the eagle cam wasn't updating...
Was she just preening or pushing?
I guess preening, didn't see another egg yet.

I just got back from giving blood and then going right into Ash Wednesday Mass.
I have been reading the blog. Prayers are being said for Mits....hope we get news about her, and SANDY got home for her BIRTHDAY! Saw a couple of new faces on here and that is great. BUT NO SECOND EGG. Belle was just waiting until I could get on to make the delivery. :) If she would just focus on an object and do her breathing exercises, she would be able to calm down and Lay an EGG! :)
Maybe she'll lay it inbetween the Carolina/Duke basketball game! I'll be running between that and egg watching. This is a BIG game for us! This is rival week in college basketball, and Duke is our rival for sure.
Hey, I see you got WONDERFUL NEWS from Steven this afternoon. I'll have to see if I can possible get on the blog sometime tomorrow at school to see when it comes on. I was sitting here a few minutes ago, minding my own business, watching for Belle to lay an egg, when all of a sudden one of the lens popped out of my glasses. After finding it under my bed with one eye closed, I had to dig out an old pair of glasses to steal a screw from. The whole time I kept looking at the computer with one eye saying "Please Belle, wait just a couple of minutes." Got the glasses put back together, looked at the computer and VOILA - 2 EGGS!

Nilla you don't need the Prozac, I know what you read. Jo mistakenly put egg #3 on one of the posts. Unless I missed something it was a typo and there are only two eggs.
Truthfully if anyone had 5 hernias repaired - don't think anyone would be interested in using the lap top 1st day after surgery! Ouch!
