GEE, there is so much to remember from year to year....had to do some serious thinking to figure out how to get the blog AND the cam on the screen together. But my braind went into ON mode and I figured it out! YAY for me!

So far the cam has been good to me and I rarely get that horrible black screen with the horrid little red X on the top left corner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays good!
I see that there's 7 hours between Israel and the cam...I can live with that.
The temp is going the wrong way. It was 21 when I got up. What is with this winter weather anyway. :)

Just read through everything before I go and cook dinner.

and it's a big night over here tonight so I don't know if I can get back on later.
It's " SHROVE TUESDAY", and we make pancakes [not American] and say goodbye to " Plenty", and tomorrow is "ASH WEDNESDAY", the start of Lent, so we have to use up all the rich foods we have in the house by tonight.
So I'm off to make a Casserole and the pancakes.
Hope you are all as well as you can be today.

NORMA, I exercise in a spare bedroom. I have a cycle and a box full of exercise tapes. I do 15 min. of the cycle and 30 min. exercise with weights.
Did it again. My new computer can't get here fast enough. Paula, are you losing everything? All my screens go away. I can restore session in firefox, so I don't ave to start totally over, but this is a pain.
Looks like Bai is eating her bamboo in the tree. She's not far from ZZ, but they've zoomed in on her now.

5 hernias repaired!!
Surgeon says he is sewing her up now
I pray she will now be as good as new
Jay called Ceil with this info & he will call again after Helen gets out
of recovery. Probably she will have a hospital stay of 3-4 days and come home over the weekend. I will update whenever info comes.

Others had problems with NBG site
It went BLACK last evening & I think it came up around 10:30 this morning
Almost time for NOON POWER PRAYER, for Sandy,Helen and Nilla's sis.
Well folks I drove home in a surprise winter storm on Sunday and now have like 10 more inches in the forecast for today. Packing myself and my dogs to go to work with me tonight incase I can't get home for a while. Got lots to do today before heading out of here. I have an eye on the cam as much as possible. Not sure if I can get to the site even from work tomorrow. Dinosaur computer there sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. I want another egg!!! TTYL
I told Mits last night she needed a lap top - Her reply was
I have a lap top, just don't have the router to go with it or I would take this bad boy with me, and be on it right til they put me under, and make sure it was Computing there in the recovery room

Thank you grannyblt for the information on the PA nest that you can see. That is very very far from Red Lion, I'm afraid. I hear there is one near a dam on the Susquehanna River, so I will look for that one when I get back to PA. (Holtwood Dam, I believe)

Keep an eye on our nest, we may get another egg yet today with Belle still on the nest. Maybe she knows something we don't. And Norfolk is zooming in trying to see if they have a 2nd egg, but eagle is on the nest now. Nice shot of him/her though!

NORMA, I have exercised all my life and my children and grandchildren have all exercised with me. About 2 years ago this !@#$!@#$ knee got me down so much that it was impossible for me to continue. I have had the shots which helps tremendously, but was afraid I would start the knee hurting again...Doc says it's OK to "Go for IT!" So I did and feel great now. NORMA, it is never too late and even a little helps!
It's 57F here, so maybe I should be the one to blow the hot air your way...

Hi Suzanne. I'm not sure if you've left for the day, but yes, C-burg is my hometown. I worked at The Butcher Shoppe through my college breaks and I actually met my husband there. Small world! We've probably bumped into each other there and didn't even know it! :)

she is in recovery and will be there for a few hours.

It is raining fairly heavy here now. I hope Belle and Lib have their feathers well weather-proofed. I is only 45°. I don't think it will get up to the predicted 60°.
I see our couple has decorated with a pine sprig. Very nice.
Norma - I think it is something that she has been dealing with over a period of time....finally had to get something done about it!
Liberty and Belle went to the shoe store and bought a fresh can of waterproofing spray so they are all good! :)

Just finished a call from Nilla. Her sister is in surgery. She doesn't know anything yet. I brought her up-to-date on Mits. Nilla was like all of us. OMgoodness 5 !!!!
Don't know what is going on but it sure looked like NBG just laid an egg. Probably not but she went through the actions. She is up looked down into egg cup.
They are moving camera in at NBG trying to get a look. Now she is turning egg or eggs. They have camera moved in VERY closely!! Parent has settled back down.

HI AGAIN LADIES, can't stay away long enough to get my wash done. I see we still only have one egg. Do you think this is all we are going to get? It has been at least 2 days.
Wanda, actually it could have been laid night before last and not even be 2 days yet. I think they can lay them up to 4 days apart. For 2 years in a row, they laid 3 eggs so I am figuring we will have at least 2, if not 3.

I noticed something in the nest today that looked either very white or very shiny. It was located toward the end opposite the egg. Does anyone have any idea what it was? Thanks

I noticed that too and then later it looked like it had been shredded to bits and was scattered around the area away from the egg cup. It was so white, wonder what it was?
