As I was publishing my comment - my garbage can & lid went flying... Thank goodness my hubby went after it (It was empty!)

Need to read your comments - is there a story behind the limb lying across the nest?

Mema Jo said...

Hey Dana lol
That sounds like it's for the birds

Jill said...

Norma, I am taking stuff. Have to watch what I take or I end up with an infection and I really really don't want that. Haven't done anything today but watch the nest and tv. The wind is awful. I don't think we have lost anything yet. Haven't really looked but most stuff was up on the porch protected by the house and the fence.

Jill said...

Jo the way the wind is blowing here it could have broke from the tree and dropped in. Or come lose from the side of the nest and landed there. Nobody has mentioned it til you did.

Mema Jo said...

DEB I know you did the State bird for Norma - Explain your flag to me...... Thanx

Temp here says 20° but as hard as the wind is blowing it must drop it another 10°. I best look at the Underground Weather site.....

paula eagleholic said...

I mentioned it earlier...it was on the right side of the nest...and got blown across the nest....

paula eagleholic said...

At first I thought it came off the tree...till I went back and checked earlier pics...

Good Night, Chrissy & thanks again for the Birth Announcement card you sent to all!

deb said...

Chrissy, I loved the flower card. I was wishing it wouldn't go so fast, so you could see the flowers better. Then at the end of the card I got my wish!! I enjoyed clicking on each state and seeing the flower.

Good evening all. I have returned from the hospital 2 units of blood richer but not feeling it yet. I guess if I didn't have the flu, I would know if it made a difference or not.

I am so thrilled we have 3 eggs. I really had no doubt that we would. Now, if we can just make it through the rest of winter.

Thank you so much Dana for letting me know. It really did make my day.

paula eagleholic said...

Sharon - glad you are home and safe. Get some rest. I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Costume Lady said...

WELCOME HOME SHARON..Glad that is all over with. Now, go to bed and rest as much as you can and enjoy our eagles.

Jill said...

HA HA Chrissy. That is the way my college roommate used to sleep. Well except for the jumper, not sure what that is but I am pretty sure she didn't have one. LOL. She always slept with her wooley hat and gloves and sweat pants and shirt. And of course heavy sock.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Just had my first live viewing of the three eggs!

paula eagleholic said...

OK, Sharon - now you can go to bed :)

Well, I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Certainly, glad to hear that Mits is home now, recovering; and I'm glad to know Sandy went home on her birthday and is doing very well. Let's pray for a complete recovery....

Last week this time we had a dead camera, now we have an excellent view of Liberty-Belle with 3 eggs in their nest.

Things are getting better...

Night night everyone, I can't keep my eyes open. Nest looks very secure and there is plenty of fluff in the nest to protect Belle and the eggs. So sleep well and we will talk to you and read from you tomorrow!

Prayers for all who need them...

Norfolk nest is back on...our eagle has kept pretty tucked in most of night...quick turns of the eggs when needed....

Still windy here, but better than it was...

All have a good night!

I have been watching the Grammy Awards Show and it has been very entertaining. I know some of you ladies like Josh Grobin and Andre Bocelli. They sang together tonight, and it was so beautiful, I could scarcely breath. Hope they put together an album.
Once again the Lord has given us a good week: Sandra is home, Helen's surgery is over and she is home, Sharon got some extra blood and is on the mend, Lib & Belle have given us 3 beautiful eggs and I could go on and on. THANK YOU

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP TIGHT
PRAYING AWAY THE BUGS OUT THERE

Good morning!!! I believe I am the first one on here this morning! I just couldn't sleep so I thought I would stop in. And to what a surprise! We now have 3 eggs! That is wonderful news! I think I am going to try to lay down for a bit and try to get back to sleep. Happy Monday!

Suzanne said...

Good morning, world. Brrrr, our winter has arrived back! 10° in PA, 16° here! Got down to 8 on the way down, and do watch out for downed trees and branches! Had horrible wind yesterday and still blowing this morning, but not as bad as yesterday and last night.

I SEE WE HAVE 3 EGGS!!! MAN, WHAT A SUPER COUPLE!!! 3 years in a row, that has GOT to be some kind of record! 3 eggs is unusual, and for this super couple to lay 3 eggs 3 years in a row is totally unusual. At the rate they were doing HP, let's just hope they don't lay a 4th egg!!! That would be a bit much for them. We'd have to start lining up for feeding and baby sitting duties! Hum, ok, that doesn't sound so bad, sign me up!
May try to go back and see what else I missed, but think that's already the crowning glory! But do want to see if Helen got to come home.
All have a great eagle/panda day! Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!

Suzanne said...

Our eagle has head tucked under wing and sound asleep. Think it may be Belle, she's sticking out longer than Lib usually does. She's probably exhausted, poor girl!

Suzanne said...

Well eagle has been sleeping all morning. Woke up for a sec, looked around, and went right back to sleep. Now I see she has changed positions! Must have turned the eggs, but I missed it. Darn.

Suzanne said...

Was just downstairs and they have local DC news on, and LOTS of schools in WV are on 2 hour delay. Since there is no weather, I can only guess that the delay is because of trees down and branches in the streets! It was a bit of a challenge this morning driving in from my area, going around the branches that are in the street. Be careful driving!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING SUZ...
Three beautiful eggs. I think that is so special; but I am like you, anymore than that would be too much for those two beauties to take care of. Just in case they would happen to have a fourth, WHERE DO I SIGN UP FOR BABYSITTING DUTIES. LOL

Suzanne said...

Well, I see we still have lots of the black half and full screen updates! Darn! Wonder if that will ever be fixed????
Our eagle still sleeping, probably trying to keep warm. Tai is still sleeping, bless his heart. Hasn't moved much all morning. Kinda rolling over on his tummy now. He's so cute. Course SD is totally black, can't see a thing. Oh, Tai rolled onto his side. Maybe he's waking up.
Donkeys are waking up and getting out.
Maine nest and tree are covered in snow, and can't get either Tesoro or NBG up at all.

Suzanne said...

LOL, good morning, Wanda! Yup, thought that right after I typed the comment about the 4th egg. That would be so cool! But I would really like to know the percentage of one eagle pair laying 3 eggs in 3 years. It's unusual to have 3 eggs, much less 3 years in a row! Just wonder what the odds are for that! Who knows, we may have record breaking eagles here!!!

Suzanne said...

Oh, waking up!!!

Suzanne said...

LOL, never mind, head right back under wing this refresh. She said it's just wayyyy too cold out there!

Costume Lady said...

I guess you have read by now that Helen is home recuperating. Sharon was very ill and was diagnosed with the Flu and had to go to the hospital and have 2 units of blood. (Don't know why) She is home recuperating also. Haven't heard anything for a while from Sandra. But we do know she is home.
Nilla has been plagued with a bug for a long time, so we talked her into going to the ER and she said it was so crowded, she decided to come home to keep from getting anymore bugs. She is going to Dr. today.

Suzanne said...

Finally got Tesoro open! Cool B&W pic, adult standing looking out at the world.

Costume Lady said...

It is 11° here (wind chill makes it feel like -5 to -15). Winds are only 6 mph. I think the schools are delayed because of the danger of frostbite and hypothermia.
SNOW TO ICE TOMORROW!

Suzanne said...

Wow, everybody is getting sick this year! They had a short thing on the news sometime this weekend that the flu season is late, but it's hitting with a vengence now! A strong bug, and it lasts a long time. Didn't know Sharon and Nilla had it. Can't blame Nilla for going back home, but I do hope she goes to the Dr today! Can't get her sister sick! And I did glance at the blogs, saw where Helen got to come home. Was glad to hear that!! Bet she's glad to be back in her own area. Now we just need her to start feeling better and get back on this blog!
Guess it might be a while before Sandra gets back on. Hope she's still feeling better and improving!

Belle's awake.

Suzanne said...

SNOW TO ICE TOMORROW???? I didn't know that!! If we do get it, I'm off tomorrow!!! Not driving down in that stuff in the middle of the night! Nope, not gonna happen.

Costume Lady said...

KARLA just emailed me and said Mama Needs a Blanket. LOL

Suzanne said...

Well who knew, that was Lib in the nest the whole time! Little fooler. Belle just arrived. I think.

Suzanne said...

And Tesoro chicks are getting breakfast, and man are they getting big!

I got to see the eggs!!!! Lib left, Belle took over, and she showed us the eggs while turning them! COOL!!!

Suzanne said...

LOL Wanda, she sure does! Notice Belle is in the exact spot Lib was in. Guess it's warm.

Suzanne said...

BBIAM...

Costume Lady said...

I missed that, but Karla sent me a photo. Good Girl, Karla! She is still like Megan, dial up is too slow to enjoy the blog and cams. I don't think she has any alternatives up there on the mountain.

Costume Lady said...

I will let you know more about the snow and ice when there is an update.

Costume Lady said...

The Capt. is up, so I'm going for coffee. BBL

Suzanne said...

Oour pic is going from black, half black, to blue to pink! Certainly different, this morning. Just wish it would be our nest, full pic, all the time.
Tai is up strolling his indoor estate.
Wow, look at the sunrise in Tesoro, beautiful!
Still can't get NBG, just black screen. Bummer.

Suzanne said...

NEW THREAD, COME ON OVER!

Mema Jo said...

Good Morning Suzanne - I have a very early appointment today. Well, early for me. I am thankful to see our nest & Belle made it through the winds last night! I hope we don't lose our cam pic but I am seeing what you mean. I'll return shortly after the noon hour.... Stay warm!
