Hey, Suzanne, welcome back, nice long weekend, huh? Norfolk siruation is sad, but that's nature. Now we'l justhave to wait to see if new couple has bonded enough to produce a clutchoftheir own. Too bad about the 3 eggs, what a waste. No eagles have been in the nest for days.

Well, it's daylight now, and there is nobody in the NBG nest. That's a shame!!

Oh, morning, Megan! Yes, that is nature, but I don't have to like it! Didn't know nobody had been in the nest for days. Too bad we couldn't get a Dr Sharpe in Norfolk to kind of take the eggs when they were viable, and replace them. Guess it's way too late now! Hate that.

No eagle seen there in the nest since Thursday, I believe. They say they will go up and retrieve the eggs form the nest for research.

Oh, I know it's rough to watch, very disapointing. There was a story on their local news last night, not a lot of new info, but interesting. Paula posted the link on the last page. And the NBG site has 3 new pics up of the new couple.

Megan, quick, check out spidey on the lower left branch watching our eagle. Man, that puppy is huge! UGH.

I saw them. That's one of the first things I checked! Then I saw the titles of their pics, I was disappointed..."New couple". Bummer.
that may not be spidey, don't know what it is.

Good morning everybody. Changing of the guards, our nest.

Belle checking and turning eggs before sitting on them!

Morning, Sharon. Feeling better?

Suzanne said...

They're panning all over in NBG, probably trying to find an eagle. Any eagle.

Suzanne said...

5 or 6 deer in PA.

They did that a lot the past few days, haven't seen an eagle on cam for a while though. They said they seem to be spending time near the old nest. Hello Sharon:)

Suzanne said...

Well, they didn't find any this time either! Darn. Wonder if the new female will accept the old nest. With modifications, of course.

GOOD TUESDAY MORNING TO SUZANNE,JIM, SHARON AND MEGAN. hOPE YOUR WEEKEND WAS A GOOD ONE SUZANNE, but too short I bet. I did go in yesterday for about 5 hours to get caught up as it was a work day for us.

Sad sad news about the NBG nest; first the horned owl and now this. At least our nest is still ok.

SHARON
I hope you are feeling a little better as each day passes.

Watch for MIts to come on from time to time. It is good to see tha she is getting on some now and again. We haven't heard anything on SANDRA in awhile and that doesn't please me.

The one good thing is that they have been seeing eagles at the Kent nests. And JO's owl has at least 6 or 7 eggs now in the owl box. She has been busy and will be really busy when they all hatch.

One lonely squirrel at Pa cam in the snow.

Well you all have a good day. Children are about ready to come in. Keep your eyes to the skies and nests. :) BBL
