Tuesday

Its been an extremely hectic day. The guys are still in the midst of the fuel cell installation, but as you can see the cam is finally back thanks to a fix out in Denver.

We have been working hard on the Open House, scheduled for this weekend here at NCTC. Make sure you all come out. Lots of critters to see, and the Momsters will have a table.

I feel so bad about that lost young man in WV listening to it on my news now :(.

4 visits already what starting at like 4 am....OK thats great but I surely hope there are more when the Normal folks are up.

OK Heading out soon for coffee and dog treats. Enjoy your day, will keep the cam up and will be hoping to see those 2 gorgeous birds tidying up that nest a bit.

LOL, Glo, I told everybody the other day on the blog, if you guys want to see them in the 'feather' so to speak, you're gonna have to be at the nest by quarter to 7! Norma told me not everybody was on my schedule, but I did the right thing! I volunteered to call everyone to get them up!!!

OMG, Bai just came back with an ARMFUL of bamboo! She has Squiggles totally hidden under it now, how cute is that! Look at it all!

Has anyone been to Clingmans Dome in the Smokeys? When mom come back from Vegas you need to ask her trip there with us lol,

Suzanne said...

There we go... flipping that bamboo all over. Bai made sure Squiggles was asleep, not she's gonna fling the bamboo. That is so funny! And Squiggles sleeps through all of it!

MITS said...

Squiggles is sooo big, you can still see her.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, on our way back from Fairfax we saw a Hawk on a light post just past Germantown.

Suzanne said...

She sure is getting big! She's a cutie. Bai has finished playing with that bamboo now, so guess it's time to roll the Squiggles. Then it will be time to eat again! Look at mom just watching her, that is precious!

Suzanne said...

Cool, Robyn. You may see a lot of them now, migration time.

MITS said...

Been to the Smokies once, Robyn, but don't remember the Dome.

The young man lost at DOLLY SODS is still missing-----More than 50 people & dogs are hunting----18 yrs. old---mental capacity of 3 or 4 yr old---They are calling his name & telling him they have candy, etc. (he has had no food)----to see if he will respond!!!---prayers for the family!!

Suzanne said...

Yes, Norma, I just read it on Fox news. Poor guy, he's autistic! Parents are terrified. Like who wouldn't be??? Hope he responds to the candy promises.

MITS said...

I hear ya, Norma, living in this town there are alot of them around. I'll just watch the pandas if they don't want to talk to me...

Suzanne said...

Mits, bet ya have a better conversation with the Pandas!!!!

Suzanne said...

STEVE has given us a new thread!See ya there.

Like Jill I feel the same what, were they doing losing site of that poor child. My cop mentality is thinking, did they bring him there to lose him. Caring for an autistic child is very hard on a family and causes so much stress, financial difficulties, inability to cope, etc. Maybe I am very wrong but you would think they would have taken extra precaution watching him!
