OK I'll guess that it is a fungi growth on the tree... Some of them are really beautiful growths.
However, when we eagleholics look at it - we expect to see an eagle's head! I wonder if I am even close???
WANDA I wondered what that first pic was myself. I kept going back to it, but still can't figure it out.
Well if you look at it it is smalish along side the pine tags. So It could be come type of fungus, but that looks soooo much like fur; maybe a caterpillar of some kind?
Look at the scenic trail photo; doesn't that look like a fish hanging from the middle of the trees?

Yes JO, I think it is a type of fungus, but only BOB can tell us. We'll have to wait I guess.

Oh well, I don't know about you all, but I have school tomorrow early. So I guess I am out of here. The fish and white fussy stuff will have to wait until tomorrow. Pretty soon I'll be seeing things too.

Sorry I left you all hanging. Had to get away from the computer and watch some mindless TV after driving back from the Eastern Shore and working on processing the photos. Not exactly sure what that white blob was. I just liked the way the light was hitting it. I do think it is some kind of fungus / mushroomie kinda thing. Back to the game (need some entertainment after the Dreadskins disaster!).

Never mind, Wanda, I see the "hanging fish" in the trail pic. ... it's probably a dried leaf or two seen from the side.
Interesting photos and subjects this week, Bob. By the way, those pics with the metallic paper really do look sharper and appear to be in 3D...beautiful.

Good morning, world. Downright cold outside this morning! 33° at home, went down to 31° enroute down here, but it's 41° here now. Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was sick as a dog. Had a sore throat on the way home Friday afternoon, and that's my clue. So have a horrible cold. Had to come in to open, nobody else due in till 5, and that's too late. May leave early, and if I don't feel any better tomorrow, I will NOT be in in the morning.
Tai is up, did see bamboo moving, but just saw him strolling a sec ago. Did have a cool pic on F&F cam, saw parent and Dolly (she's getting big and dark!), then parent left, now they've changed the view to ledge and totally out of focus. Trying to zoom in on ledge where parents stand, so all you could see anyway would be the white ledge if it was in focus. We have a good pic on our cam, hope it stays that way if Lib and Belle pop in this morning.
Ok, things to do. All have a great eagle/panda day.

Bai just returned, Squiggles was alone when I brought up the cam. Mom's back now, and getting comfy to go to sleep. Holding Squiggles in her paws.
Tai must have gone back to sleep, don't see him, and bamboo isn't moving.
It is freezing outside, and they have the AC just going full blast. It is also now freezing in here. Have a few things to do, and I'm heading home early. Want to wait until Target opens and get some cold medicine.
Had to scrape my car this morning. I wasn't prepared for that! They said frost warnings, but I sure didn't think I'd have to scrape! Darn, guess it is that time of year.
Our kids should be due in a few minutes, if they show up on this cold morning.
Either Mai or Tian are pacing, and Tai is zonked out, on his side on the rocks. He's even cute sleeping. Bai and Squiggles are both sleeping.
OH, they must have changed the dens. Looks like 2 pandas sleeping on cam 2, so that must be Tai pacing on cam 1. Bai just woke up and walked out of the den, too dark to see Squiggles.

SORRY YOU DON'T FEEL WELL. The cold temps. that your place of work always has may be why you have a cold. Put your coat on (you probably have already done that). Go home as soon as possible or you may not feel like driving later.
Our pair has been coming a little after 7am.
Ok, I'm confused. The panda that was asleep on the rocks on cam 2, is now still asleep on the rocks, but on cam 1. Panda is hanging out by the door on cam 2, watching under it. That's something Tai does, but I have no clue if that's him or who is on which cam.
Morning, Wanda. Yup, put my coat back on about 6. Even have it zipped up now! But we had that fire drill Friday, and we were standing out in the rain and wind for about 25 minutes, and also so cold in here, no wonder I'm sick. I am going soon, have a couple things to get done and then will leave. Glad you're up to watch them if they show! Beautiful pic on the cam!!
OK Suz, If you'r not here tomorrow, we'll know why. Keep warm, sip on lots of hot soup. You did have your Flu shot didn't you?

I hope Wanda had her cup of coffee already this morning. She was seeing fish hanging from a tree in one of Bob's pics last night. Even had Paula seeing it. :) I think she was just too gamed out. :)
Yup, got that last Thursday. They don't usually bother me, but I think that fire drill Fri is what did me in.
Have to stop by the store on the way home (ugh), need cat food, so will get some soup and stuff. Don't have too much in my house at the moment, but then again, haven't really felt like eating. Yup, lots of fluids, lots of tea.
Well my teacher isn't coming in today as her daughter is having her first baby sometime. I'll be having a sub and have to get things set up. Got a late start today.
SUZANNE, you get yourself safely home and doctored and WANDA and the rest of the gang have a good eagle watching day.

Ok, panda mystery solved. Bai and Tian are on cam 2, so Tai is on cam 1. Never mind, have both pandas on cam 1 and 2. So... I stay confused.
Belle sure is pretty isn't she? Lib is still on his perch supervising!
