It was quite a scene this morning as major construction was done by the eagles on the nest. It is sure looking good for another nesting season.

I really was in the kitchen, have the follow-up comments coming to e-mail, when I heard alot of messages coming in, came back and saw only 1 eagle in our nest....don't know why my windows media will not pick up Tesoro, it picks up everything else that I have.
Just sent Lynda an e-mail at Tesoro, maybe she can shed some light on their cam and their eagles.

I've been watching that one on a regular basis, Jo....will watch The Little People as much as I can, hubby is on his way home now, so will not eat dinner for another 20 mins, and, they come on at 8. I'm in my last kitchen cabinet..getting really tired of this crap.

I'm gonna have to be more careful on the trails in BW. I don't want to get hit in the head by by a large mouth bass when I'm walking under the fish tree. Here's a closeup of what Wanda was talking about. I can actually see what she means:

Good morning, world. Steve, love your update on the blog... major construction WAS done yesterday, that was too funny! Those guys were mMoving small trees around that nest, and flying from one end of the nest to the other with the tree in their beak. Awesome to watch!
Chilly out again, 35° at my house, 40° here, and my boss just called, said it's very foggy on 270/395. I didn't have any fog coming down, lots of stars and bright 3/4 moon.
Have a beautiful pic on our cam, hope the kids show up again this morning for their major construction. Sure was nice to see that yesterday. BW is down, Lisa has a note, and Bai and Squiggles are asleep together in the den.
All have a great eagle/panda day.

Lots of activity this morning on the africam. Water buffalo and donkeys were drinking, looks like an osterich off by himself in the back, zebras were there for a sec, and something spooked them, so they took off. Now it looks like geese in and around the water. Oh, panned off, there are the zebras! How cool is that!!

I'm going to have to put Pete's Pond on here at school. I love to see all the different animals.

Teachers daughter finally had a baby boy yesterday, but I think that she won't be in today yet; maybe not the whole week. Time will tell. I have a sub until Thursday and we have a work day with no kids on Fridiay.

WANDA, you are missing it. Isn't it soooo nice to have lights on the nest this year. We would be trying to find a bird in the nest last year or miss it altogether.
Not sure Candy, stands where Belle hangs out, but doesn't quite look big enough. Maybe it is her, though, just not sure.

I'm feeling better, thanks for asking Wanda and Mits. Got some cold pills yesterday at Target, and took the night ones last night. Slept very well, but didn't want to take the day ones till I came in. Wasn't sure what kind of reaction I would have, so waited till 4:30 and took the first 2. So far so good, I'm glad to say! Take another 2 in a little while.
Missed the 2nd visit totally, was doing something else. Darn!
Hopefully they'll come back!

Morning, Norma and Jim. Feeling lots better, had soup for dinner, and cold pills for dessert last night. Then I went to bed!
There were 3 of us out in the rain Friday during the early AM fire drill, and one of the other guys has a horrible cold too. One is just fine, so he got lucky.
Sharon, hope you feel better soon, too.
Still watching the giraffes and zebras on africam. Very cool. Cam operator zoomed in on some faces, they're so pretty! And one baby wanted to nurse looked like, but mom said no...drink water!
I see the great herd of giraffes now. I am also watching Pete's Pond...didn't know Wildebeest rolled like horses, but they are focusing on a small group which just rolled in the grass and leaves and are now lying in a shaded area.

There are about 4-5 hogs at a time in this one mud hole right next to the pond, which the large hogs are excavating as well as rolling in as I watch.

Think all 3 Kent cams are sick. Cam 3 has been down for quite a while, but now cam 1 and 2 have joined cam 3. Maybe we should get the cams some soup! I'll share my cold pills!
