MEGAN--My Hummers love my impatients. Maybe because I have a lot of them. They spend a long time dipping into each blossom and then come to the feeder and take a sip and leave. My Mom had hummers up until this past weekend. Mine left around Sept. 25.
MIne have been gone for a while now too, Wanda. Hummers do love impatiens. They really love anything with red flowers, but I see them in so many flowers in my garden, especially my ornamental salvias.
It does look like a pen now, Wanda. But I'm thinking knowing the size of that nest, that it is one BIG pen.
Wanda, you had hummers for a long time. Unfortunately, I stopped feeding mine early, then had some passing through, but they were disappointed. Next year I'll do better. Just very time consuming, and I don't have that much time in the evenings.
Looks like showers on and off all day, heavier this afternoon:) Grabbing my raincoat and getting ready to head out the door. Have a great day everyone. TGIF!!!
They also love my orang trumpet vine, but it did not bloom this year. I have 3 of them and none bloomed. This was a weird growing season. The trumpet vine, as you probably know is very invasive. I have mine planted in whiskey barrels to keep them contained.
Eagle still in BW...he's been there quite a while. Ours have not been back, and man, there went a totally BLUE SCREEN! Bummer. Maybe they're still working on it or something...
Oh, sorry to leave you all alone Suz... Don't worry, I'll be there tomorrow, haven't missed an open house since I found out they had them years ago. Daughter's no longer interested in going, off to hang out with fiends instead, but I'll be there.
Great, Megan! How's your daughter's hand, by the way? Healing well? Was just outside, not raining here yet, but only a matter of time I guess. Very cloudy and the wind has picked up. Gonna leave early today 'cause I can, and have to get gas and a few other things before tomorrow, and don't feel like pumping gas in the rain.

Kids are enjoying watching him. They're up close to the glass, but he is TOTALLY ignoring them! Too funnyu! Oh, head back now, holding bamboo up with his paws, but not missing a bite.
Uh oh, gotta sit up, get another piece of bamboo....ok, let's go through this, we want the best piece. He's tasting them. Oh, now we have it, back on the back to eat...oh, we have TWO pieces, ok, put that one down for later. He's adorable. Oh, flip that piece around, we like this end better! Here comes the cameras out. Well darn, just switched cams. Trying to find somebody...oops, back to Tai.

Woke up to rain this morning, at home and all the way to work :) Guess Anne will have a rainy tour of DC - That's ok, she said she didn't care if it snowed :)
Weather should be bright and sunny for tomorrow, and that's what counts!
They had the lost boy's family on the Today show this morning...they have been worried something like that would happen...apparently he just loves the outdoors.
Norma, yeah, wasn't Robyn on here earlier? And got an email from Mits, so she's up too. Too early yet for Jo, she's a night owl. Hope Anne is having a good flight. Does anybody have her itinerary? She's supposed to land in Dulles this morning, then tour DC for 3 hours, then on to Martinsburg, I think.
And Glo and Vicky are driving down today or tomorrow morning? Think today, drive safely, girls.
Before I forget, Lisa, have a safe trip to FL today!
Wow, check out the mad bamboo artist! Bai is having a ball!!! Looks like she's standing on her head now, rearranging bamboo under her. Oh this is funny!
Check out the Smokeys...totally foggy, can't see anything.
Bai just rolled onto her back, now back on her head, Squiggles is under her. She's wrestling that bamboo!!
Morning, Paula. Glad we're getting rain up that way. Not raining here yet, but only a matter of time. I'm glad they found that missing boy! Think the parents need to be more careful next time they go hiking in the woods!
Norma, haven't read anything except what's on the site about last exam. Latest update on the site is from Wednesday, the 17th. And yes, that is a permanent move for him. He's gonna go to China and be a stud muffin and make little pandas!
Good Morning The rain is off & on, off & on and my cats don't know if they want in or out! Since I signed off early last night it took me a while to read through the comments! I know what you mean about taking pics with the wavy line up top- it distorts the whole image at times. We need to order the sunshine for tomorrow! Norma I did enjoy yesterday at NCTC - very educational - made me feel like I was back in the stream of things!
MORNING PAULA & ROBYN----I'm sorry I didn't post your name earlier---Do remember reading about your visit to NCTC--great food & that you took TORI for a manicure----I hadn't had my coffee yet!!!----Lots of MOMSTERS up before 7:30 a.m.---
LOL, sure has, Paula. That's the same one that was there earlier and brought the fish which he didn't like.
Morning, Jo. Poor kitties, can't make up their mind. Wasn't raining when I left, so was glad to hear it was when Paula said she came to work. Glad you had such a good time yesterday! And you are ALWAYS in the swing of things!!
MORNIN' JO!!---I bet it was interesting---I keep telling them I WILL "PAY THEM" TO LET ME WORK THERE!!--ho!---But seriously I know what you mean---It must have been a great experience!!!----MITS DIDN'T BRING AN UMBRELLA HOME---DID SHE?---JUST KIDDIN'---
Well after saying see ya later, Bai left, and Squiggles is all the way over by the wall, about 9ish. If ya look, a shadow moves. They've lost Mai and Tain in DC again...
HELEN has said many times---even before she became a volunteer---that she was going down & help them with the cam---I swear sometime it appears TAI is using it!!!
GOOD FRIDAY A.M. EVERYONE, SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL TODAY! Been up for quite some time, but going thru e-mails and catching up on the blog, and, talking to my daughter-in-law, and doing chores around the house...NORMA, all pandas born in captivity, belong to the Chinese. Mei was lucky to get a 2 year extension, like Tai. Think it had something to do with the cub-boom last year and alot of males were born....SUZANNE, I am tickled pink yo can see the DC cams now, so many interesting thing on their site.....DELPHIA, I volunteer at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington D.C. Going to go look at some cams now
SUZANNE---Yes ANNE & niece --are flying into DULLES & then taking the DC tour by bus---before driving to Martinsburg!!!---Not sure when GLO & VICKY get here---Understand they have a room at the SOUTH BRANCH INN in Romney tomorrow---not sure about tonight--
After my year commitment is up in January, and if they let me come back, I would also like to be trained on the cams, and then do a 3 hour shift on the trail and a 3 hour shift on the cams...MTBR!
Good morning, Mits! I am THRILLED to be able to see Tai and Mai and Tian, and anything else I can get. It's a fun site! Yup, Norma, very white butt. So must be looking at Tai. Those eagles are in and out this morning, and that is one huge fish! Think Bai has stopped rearranging the bamboo and left to go get more. Squigs is snoozing. Wow awesome shots of those BW eagles!
Did you guys notice on Bob's photos of the blackbirds, all the red-winged blackbirds in that bunch? The red just sorta really stand out. Cool pics, as always.
The eagle on the side of the platform has been in and out all morning. But look at his/her right wing...it kinda hangs out a bit. Hope (think) he's alright!
When I was working---we went to PENDLETON CO.----(CAROL'S CO.)--We used to see lots of them---They are a beautiful bird!---I have said before--but in CAROL'S area of the state----It's filled with all kinds of birds, flowers & animals, etc.---It's a NATURE WONDERLAND!!---
Oh, the Atlanta Beauty is in the hammock, adorable. Bai eating bamboo, and someone on a rock. That little Atlanta girl looks like she just likes to sit in the hammock, that's so cute.
Ok, I see that now, Paula. Hope you're right. But he's the one that brought in the fish this morning then didn't eat it, so I guess he can fly and fish alright.
Lun Lun is strolling around, and the baby hasn't moved out of the hammock.
The "ATLANTA BEAUTY"---just finished nursing in the Hammock---Now she is alone in the Hammock--bet ya' that little one will climb up to the top log & go to sleep!!-----ADORABLE---when she lies back & stretches in the Hammock!!
LunLun is moving bamboo, now just walking around. Looks like the baby may fall off that hammock. Oh no, mom attacks... geesh, she attacks and walks away. And buta buta is gonna take that???? Here comes mom again, 2nd pass. Oh, jump up this time!
Yup, pulled the baby right off that hammock and walkd away. This is too funny. Baby getting back on hammock and her ecomes mom again. Think mom wants the hammock and the little beauty ain't giving it up! Oh, there she goes again, ont he floor! Man, did you ever try to laught quietly while watching these guys? It's very hard to do!!!
Thanks, Mits. Look at her, trying to climb back in the hammock, and mom attacks again! Now they're both on the ground wrestling! Oh this is too funny. OMG, mom is SITTING on baby!
Good Morning WV. This is Vicky and Glo signing in from Crawfordsville Indiana...we are just starting out and have literally made 4 stops in our first 50 miles. Hoping to get to NCTC before Open HOuse is over but one of us has a new camera and we keep seeing things we just .Got to have a picture of. Hope all are having a greatday and Eagle sightings are ahead.
Morning Glo & Vicky - Thanks for keeping us posted on your journey!
Suzanne - it really gets rough at times between ButaButa & LunLun. LunLun isn't as gentle as what Mei in DC seemed to be with Tai. I have seen her run and headbutt ButaButa big time!
SUZANNE---LITTLE TAI----was worse--He had more territory to roam & pester his MAMA!!!----So glad you can see them----They are entertaining to say the least!!!
OH loookkk.....slide down that pole, too funny! Woah, ButaButa pulled mom right off that bar. Now it looks like she's biting her ears! Oh this is rich! Look at them go!
Yes, Mits, they sure are! Ok, now I know what a honey box is. Heard you guys talking about it, had no clue. Yes, too addicting, was gonna leave over a half hour ago!
Got to get a nap before tonight, I HAVE to watch Meerkat Manor tonight, wont' be home tomorrow for the replay. And I WILL watch the Murder Club tonight!!!!
Oh, both went in that door in the back, now they're getting their area cleaned.
WHATEVER TAI HAS-----He certainly is enjoying it---looks like a card board box to me too!!!---maybe something is missing from his diet!!--(don't knock it--if you haven't tried it)---ho!
They put honey in a CLEAN trash can one day this week and he went right in and stayed there and took a nap, after he licked it clean....these are the enrichment things they do, so pandas don't get bored....what a life!
Bai is, well was, eating bamboo, now Squigs is on cam..no, back to mom. Squigs looks like she's holding a piece of bamboo.
Both eagles still hanging out in BW, what a beautiful pair!
Still cleaning Atlanta, door still closed, panning in NZ, Bai eating.
Anyway, gonna sneak out. Uh oh, here comes a bunch of bamboo in Atlanta. Darn, not gonna stay and watch, I'd be leaving here when it gets dark!
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great eagle/panda day. See a lot of you tomorrow!!
Oh, are we meeting anyplace tomorrow? Jo, if we are, can you call me later this afternoon and let me know? Or I'll turn my cell on in a about 20 minutes or so.
Ok, outta here. Have a great day, blog at ya Monday. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly! Hope we see our raptors tomorrow!!!
Our Atlanta pandas have surely captured our Suzanne's attention! I am so happy she can finally share our enjoyment of ButaButa, Tai and their families........
Suzanne - I will call you but there are so many of us coming that I had said lunch in cafe at 11:30 would get us all together. Probably before that we will run into each other. If anyone attending has a suggestion on Meeting Place & Time - speak up
JO---Just called POTOMAC EAGLE & no one has cancelled!----I asked if couldn't let me on--NOT---Suggested I could call the local station Sun. a.m.----which I will do!!
In ATLANTA--- LUN LUN is on the floor enjoying a "heap" of bamboo & the LITTLE ONE is asleep on the top log of the hammock----Reminds me of a "Saturday Evening Post" cover!!!!--You kids are too YOUNG to catch that!!---ho!
OUR NEST IS MT!!---But the nest just looks beautiful with that new cam & the million other things you folks fixed for us!!!---THANKS TO ALL THE CREW AT NCTC!!!
Good morning eagle lovers! Everybody is chatting about the Open House. I hope there is good weather for it tomorrow - even tho we severely need rain. I'll be thinking of all of you there and will see some of you on the train ride Sunday.
Birdgirl - your post yesterday was the longest entry I've ever seen on this blog. I took special note of your mention of Grey's Peak and the water going East and West. We have a similar mountain ridge here in southern Pendleton County. The water running from one side of the ridge finds its way to the Potomac River, then the Chesapeake Bay and then the Atlantic Ocean. The water on the other side of the ridge eventually makes it to the Gulf of Mexico - not sure by what rivers - but probably the Ohio and Mississippi. I always ponder on that whenever I cross that ridge.
JO-since I dont' know what time I will get there, I have Robyns cell number so I can at least find her. I am going to try to make lunch but it depends on how much sleep I get tonight and if I can get off this street. If not I will find you guys at the nest or at dinner.
Norma-they will briefly cross into WV around Wheeling I think. They are staying just south of Pittsburgh tonight. Then depending on the route they chose they will come back into the state either above Morgantown or at Sharpsburg bridge
Now would I miss an opportunity to spend time with my "aunt"Norma. LOL
THANKS JILL!!---I wasn't sure where they were spending the night!!--They are staying in Romney tomorrow night at the SOUTH BRANCH INN----Are you going on the Pot. Eagle?---I missed getting a ticket last week---called this a.m.--still no ticket---W/call Sun. a.m.----You are my favorite niece!!
No Norma I have to work this weekend that is why I am not sure when I will be getting to Open House or how long I will stay. Save me a seat at lunch and dinner. (Hey, even magistrate's have to eat) LOL
Crap Mits, I am supposed to do laundry too?????? LOL. Actually both the boys do their own laundry and Brad does his. That only leaves mine, which is why I have so many clothes. LOL
Actually Iris's cousin said we were welcome to stay at her house which is only about 6 miles or so fom NCTC activites. So we did cancel the other plans for the Inn in Romney. We`will drive to Romney in the morning and get to see the scenery as well. Also gave us a good place to leave one of the cars since we will be joining Iris this weekend too. Jill think the scenic route is in the plans as long as weather is nice tomorrow for the drive. Remind me again about how far it is from Washington PA to NCTC campus.
I happened to see LunLun yank sleeping ButaButa from the top log trying to get her into the hammock to nurse - but ButaButa HIT THE FLOOR! "A Rude Awakening" it is called! Seems like all is well now....lovey dovey.
floralgirl: do you have lilacs in your area? i love lilacs -- one of the few things I miss about Denver (where I grew up)... lilacs don't grow here :-( i wondered if hummers like lilacs?
Glo I am guessing but I would say 3 hours from Washington PA to Shep. It takes me about 3.5 to get to Wheeling WV and 2.5 to get to Morgantown. You are about 1/2 in between the two. And it is all interstate.
Just as a reminder Glo. Use the bathroom around Morgantown, there won't be too many places to go until you hit Frostburg. About an hour away from Morgantown. And after Frostburg/Lavale/Cumberland there won't be much til you get to Hagerstown. I have done that trip so many time with the boys playing soccer, and there were many times we wished we had stopped.
Glo, you have to cross the northern panhandle of WV to get to Washington PA. You will only be in the state 1/2 hour, I think it is. Not long. If you take the scenic route you will cut diagonally across PA back to WV.
I'm not quite as late as it appears...got this far and the browser did it's one-time-a-morning-crash thing.
Boy, you're not excited about the Open House, are you?? You've already got more comments than all of yesterday! I really hope you have a good one, and I know you will enjoy it.
Does everyone know how to tell the difference between a "Trumpeter Swan" and a "Tundra Swan" now? If not you'd better look at Lisa's entries.
Check out the view on the new Santa Cruz cam right now.
OK we are in Wasington PA. Going out for some supper. Vicky may be on later , but I can't seem to get my computer hooded up...thus I will entertain myself with other things like pictures pictures pictures.
HELEN---When did you start hearing these voices????---KIDDIN'!!----I think we should get in touch with JILL----Promised ANNE-MARIE---We would have a PARADE in her honor--if she brought the RAIN with her!!!----Well---It's been pouring here in ROMNEY!!!----off & on this afternoon!!!
The (OUR) NEST looks dry---guess you folks haven't had rain in Shepherdstown yet!!!!---It is just pouring here----We haven't had rain for such a long time---I had to go out side & feel it!!!!---KIDDIN'---But we are all SMILING!!!

Thanks for the Friday thread, Steve. Looking forward to tomorrow!
Thanks for the heads up, Wanda.
Steve, what are those horrible wiggly lines on our cam?
Eagle gone...
I meant OUR eagle gone. Still one hanging out in BW!
MEGAN--My Hummers love my impatients. Maybe because I have a lot of them. They spend a long time dipping into each blossom and then come to the feeder and take a sip and leave.
My Mom had hummers up until this past weekend. Mine left around Sept. 25.
The object in the nest looks like a pen. Ok, Jo, Mits, Robyn, are you missing a pen??
MIne have been gone for a while now too, Wanda. Hummers do love impatiens. They really love anything with red flowers, but I see them in so many flowers in my garden, especially my ornamental salvias.
Eagle still hanging out looking regal in BW. Our nest MT, but wiggly.
I would love to grow the orange butterfly weed, but it needs sun and I have very little sunny places in my yard.

You are right, Suz. The item is too big to be a pen. I wasn't thinking in terms of size. Sometimes I don't think at all!
I think I have blonde roots!
I have some costumes to steam...better get busy.
Have a good one, Megan, stay dry. Hopefully see you tomorrow!!!
Wow, Wanda is leaving too. Gonna start talking to myself again. Have a good one, Wanda, see you and Gene tomorrow too, I hope!
Eagle still in BW...he's been there quite a while. Ours have not been back, and man, there went a totally BLUE SCREEN! Bummer. Maybe they're still working on it or something...

Wow, eagle just arrived in BW squawking up at the sky, and fish in talons, I think. Awesome pic.
And this refresh he has head down just chomping on that fish!
OH my, Bai has an itch. Eagle decided it wasn't hungry after all, moved to side of platform.
It's either raining or very foggy in the Smokeys. Can only see the first group of trees.
Well, darn. Eagle left, and left his fish.

Norma, isn't he funny? I'm not telling you anything you haven't said a gazillion times, but I haven't been watching. Look at that tongue going in and out...
Boy, that was a quick panda nap. Back to picking just the right leaf...
Juvie ewwiee in BW kinda eyeing the fish the eagle left earlier.

Aww, looking for Mai and Tian, I guess. They're hiding this morning.
Ah, he found somebody. Not close enough, back to Tai. He's almost covered himself in the bamboo.
LOL, did you see that, Norma? Plop, down went the head, he looks exhausted all that hard eating... Too funny!
He found somebody! Awwww! I'm loving this.
Awww, look at that little girl, she's so cute!

He looks like he is banded on his left ankle
Going to go look at some cams now
LOL, NORMA, I was thinking about it, but I'm just collecting the badges I get:).
Breakfast time at BW - check out that fish!!
Two beautiful eagles in BW. And Bai brought in some more bamboo!
EAGLE at BW & BEAUTIFUL photograph of a TUNDRA SWAN taken by BOB---OUTSTANDING---I have never seen one before!!!
National Zoo has update October 18: Still in Summer Mode on our pandas.
Take special note of the FEET on that Tundra Swan. I bet he can paddle pretty fast.
LOLLLLL..White WHITE butt on cam!
Did you guys notice on Bob's photos of the blackbirds, all the red-winged blackbirds in that bunch? The red just sorta really stand out. Cool pics, as always.
Those eagles at BW are just too pretty
Norma Mits walked right by the umbrellas! I kept my eye on them until she got thru the door & past them! lol
LOL, he heard me on that one...
HELEN---How do you get your badges?----By completing different classes?---That's COOL!!---
The eagles at BW are "Tooo pretty"
Great eagle fix for a Fri morning!
I wonder if they are the regulars we see?
The eagle on the side of the platform has been in and out all morning. But look at his/her right wing...it kinda hangs out a bit. Hope (think) he's alright!
Oh, look at our little round butt in SD. How cute is that!!!
She looks almost as wide as she is long! Adorable!
When I was working---we went to PENDLETON CO.----(CAROL'S CO.)--We used to see lots of them---They are a beautiful bird!---I have said before--but in CAROL'S area of the state----It's filled with all kinds of birds, flowers & animals, etc.---It's a NATURE WONDERLAND!!---
DAMN...PANDA STUCK IN TREE.
Awww, eagle left.
Bai is eating bamboo.
Suz - both his wings look like that now...think it is just the way he is holding them.
Which panda, Mits?
I thought it was Mei Xiang.
HELEN---Which PANDA?---Isn't that TAI begging food?
Thanks, Mits. Look at her, trying to climb back in the hammock, and mom attacks again! Now they're both on the ground wrestling! Oh this is too funny. OMG, mom is SITTING on baby!
Close up of our little squiggles.
SUZ--LOOK QUICK--LUN LUN IS PULLING LITTLE ONE OUT OF HAMMOCK!!---LITTLE ONE FIGHTING BACK!!
Well that little Beauty is determined! There she goes in the hammock again.
That reminds me of the old days when Tai was a young cub
ATLANTA BEAUTY!!---WOW!---that little gal has SPUNK!!---funny!!!
LOL, I've been watching them, Norma, they're hilarious!
Glo and Vicky, nothing better than photo ops when you're traveling! Get here safely!
Eagle still in BW, NZ is moving around, Bai is still eating bamboo, and the Atlanta beauties are fighting over that hammock. This is hilarious!
Geesh, and I was gonna leave at 10!!!!
Plop, on the ground!
If you go to the Memphis zoo, they have a real close shot of one of their pandas.
OMG, Mits, this is too funny. If Tai was like that, now the Atlanta Beauty, can't wait for Squiggles to start! They are hilarious!!
Oh geesh Mits, don't EVEN want to do that now! Have 3 panda cams up and the BW eagle, which is still hanging around.
MORNING GLO & VICKY!!!----At the rate you folks are traveling---we might see you next week!!! ho!---SAFE JOURNEY!!!---(a "wee" bit faster)
Thanks, Jo. Didn't look to gentle, but still didn't look like she hurt her either.
Both Mai and Tain on cam!
And LunLun (I think) is on the bar on the hammock.
2nd eagle back at BW, first one squawking!
Norma, you're right, she sure has SPUNK!!!!
oops, there she went...on the ground on her head. There goes mom, and by golly we're gonna get up here again. Nope, LunLun back, pulled her down.
LOOK NOW----LUN LUN & BUTA ARE WRESTLING & BOTH JUST FELL OUT OF HAMMOCK & ARE UNDER HAMMOCK!
What in the world has Tai got his head into?
Looks like a paper bag!
Woah, now they fell into hammock, soon to be out!
Looks like a cardboard box or something Tai has his head in!
Owww, bite on the butt by the little one!
OOPS--THERE GOES ANOTHER PANDA!!---& ANOTHER!---JO LOVES THESE PARTS!!
Phew, Lun Lun went in cave, for a split sec, and the little Beauty is on the top bars. Here comes mom!
Addicting, aren't they Suz???
Oh geesh, hanging upside down, oops, knew it, down she went!
He has honey in a box:).
LOL, she really wiggles when she runs, doesn't she? Too funny!
Phew, maybe just the break I need.
WHATEVER TAI HAS-----He certainly is enjoying it---looks like a card board box to me too!!!---maybe something is missing from his diet!!--(don't knock it--if you haven't tried it)---ho!
HELEN---I thought they always put honey on the plastic type boxes!!------He LOVES it!!!
They put honey in a CLEAN trash can one day this week and he went right in and stayed there and took a nap, after he licked it clean....these are the enrichment things they do, so pandas don't get bored....what a life!
Wow, still totally foggy in the Great Smokeys!
Oh Mits, that's funny!
Lisa BW saw us talking about the Tundra Swan - She has given us some good info on them....
JO---I saw that---more or less just scanned it---with promise to go back after the 'little pandas' settle down----They have been a riot this a.m.!!

If anyone attending has a suggestion on Meeting Place & Time - speak up
Need to go do some things..grand daughter coming to visit this afternoon... BBL

Just got a glimpse of MEI SHENG!!
Just walked off & the cam is BLUE now!!
OK Now how do we got to the Cafeteria and noon if the eagles got to the nest at noon. Can we get cafeterai food to go?
I always ponder on that whenever I cross that ridge.
well there really was an eagle in the nest around noon for a breif visit.
JO-since I dont' know what time I will get there, I have Robyns cell number so I can at least find her. I am going to try to make lunch but it depends on how much sleep I get tonight and if I can get off this street. If not I will find you guys at the nest or at dinner.
Well my sense is it is panda nap time in WV. We have just crossed into Ohio.
WHOA JILL!---Hope you can make it tomorrow!!!---Looking forward to seeing everyone!!---Will have great weather both days!!---Sun. warmer than Sat.---
WOW GLO!!---I hope VICKY is driving now!!---KIDDIN'----where do you enter WV?---what city or town???--DRIVE CAREFULLY!!---Thanks for the update!!
Eagle Alert BW
No Norma I have to work this weekend that is why I am not sure when I will be getting to Open House or how long I will stay. Save me a seat at lunch and dinner. (Hey, even magistrate's have to eat) LOL
GLO--We aren't napping yet!!---It's lunch time here!
Can't nap. when you are busy, right, Norma!
EAGLE BW
No nap here, I'm working!
RIGHT HELEN on both counts!!---Beautiful Eagle---& I'm doing laundry, etc.--
G OT MOUNTAINS OF LAUNDRY HERE........
Glo You best have Vicky take the shortest route so that you make it to the nest by 6:30am... lol
just stopped in to say hello!
floralgirl: do you have lilacs in your area? i love lilacs -- one of the few things I miss about Denver (where I grew up)... lilacs don't grow here :-( i wondered if hummers like lilacs?
well we are 30 miles from Columbus OH and lunchtime is calling.
Grand daughter has arrived! No nap today! BBL
Bird Girl - Yes we have lilacs here! Smell great...
My mom used to have a lilac outside of my bedroom window. Loved smelling it in the summer time.
JILL, THE RONALD MCDONALDS HOUSE IN SYRACUSE, NEW YORK'S ADDRESS IS...1027-29 EAST GENESEE STREET, SYRACUSE, NEW YORK 1027...315-476-1027
Wow, we are 100 miles from Wheeling WV, too bad we ae going to PA or the night LOL
ROBYN....going to eat my second half of sandwich for lunch....yummy!
Robyn, how is your paper going?
EAGLE ON KENT NUMBER 2 CAM.
Thanks Mits. I will pass it on.
Glo, you have to cross the northern panhandle of WV to get to Washington PA. You will only be in the state 1/2 hour, I think it is. Not long. If you take the scenic route you will cut diagonally across PA back to WV.
SOMEONE IS TRYING TO FIND WOOPECKER AT TESORO.
Thank God, it is raining here:)!
Eagle at Kent up in the tree, nice to see them.
eagle still ay KENT, loons singing in Maine
GOOD DAY, EVERYONE...
Jim
EEUUWWWIIEE AT BW.
JIM
PAULA, what are they doing at SC now??

MIts - they are still working on installing the new cam...
Thanks, I heard voices, and saw movement of cam and standby msg, and people walking, and some one said, Ok, lets get this started...
OK we are in Wasington PA. Going out for some supper. Vicky may be on later , but I can't seem to get my computer hooded up...thus I will entertain myself with other things like pictures pictures pictures.
Looks like Frieda brought breakfast...
HELEN---When did you start hearing
these voices????---KIDDIN'!!----I think we should get in touch with JILL----Promised ANNE-MARIE---We would have a PARADE in her honor--if she brought the RAIN with her!!!----Well---It's been pouring here in ROMNEY!!!----off & on this afternoon!!!
NORMA, unfortunately, ours was just a brief shower, so warm pavement dries up fast
LITTLE "DOLLY" looks so lonesome---She needs a play mate!!!
Horsie looks like a spotted pony
The (OUR) NEST looks dry---guess you folks haven't had rain in Shepherdstown yet!!!!---It is just pouring here----We haven't had rain for such a long time---I had to go out side & feel it!!!!---KIDDIN'---But we are all SMILING!!!
We are having a parade tomorrow. Just for Anne and the rain. (Just don't tell all those people who think it is for the Apple Harvest.)
We had a couple of good showers this afternoon. Got caught outside in one of them.
Anne should be in Martinsburg by now. Anybody heard from her?
