Planning for the Winter

We recently held a meeting here at NCTC to discuss new plans for this year's eagle cam. We are fortunate to have a new staff member on board who previously worked for a company that sells webcams for use with wildlife, so our expertise in this area just took a huge step forward.

We should have a game plan for what we plan to do this winter, and when we have some decisions , I'll post them here. Some ideas includ: multiple cams, robotic cam that can be controlled remotely (moved), and audio so we can hear what's going on.

Can't say how this will settle out just yet, but we are excited for a new nesting season, assuming our pair comes back, which we ceretainly anticipate.

I thought that was really cute. I don't think she is able to really do that either. Think you are right by accident. I kept trying to see if male or female. Mommy is sure feeding it enough, don't you think she is alittle chubby and cute cub.

well, folks, i'm back from the fundraiser.

i thought i was going to be all giddy with excitement, chomping at the bit to tell all of you how wonderfully it went and all that...

i need to process the evening in my mind a bit longer to formulate what i really want to say, but for now this will have to do:

i am quite disappointed and frustrated.

i'll let y'all know when i've worked through it...

I am sorry that the day was not as exciting and beneficial as you had hoped for. Expectations are tough things sometimes, and even after you take the time to process much of it, you will still not have all the pieces of the puzzle. Way too much enters in to know the "whys" of life.

Let it go: You worked very hard and will continue to do so for something you love.

Anything else takes away your own enjoyment
