This evening at 6:00 eagle time my husband drove my mother and me out to the eagle tree. It was a beautiful evening, deer all over the place. As we got to the place where you veer right to go to the eagle tree, we saw a young eagle (Spunky?) chasing a crow. When we got to the tree, we saw no eagles, but the nest is clearly visible now--enough leaves have fallen so that you can see it. I will try to turn blue and become a member of the momsters, but I have so many claims on me that I might not be able to. Nilla, hang in there. Megan, sorry I didn't make it to the market for your last day. See you at Thanksgiving. All of you drink lots of orange juice. It's too early for all these colds.

1/2 time at the game and from the looks of it they are playing down in JAX .. It showed all the lights and water of St Johns River... I saw the building Modus it is one of the highest in Jax.. The Landing runs along there and theres a broadwalk you can walk along lots of great shopping... Man make me homesick for Jacksonville..

Andrew sets his alarm clock, gets up, takes a showers, eats a bowl of cereal and a friend picks him up and takes him to school. So very low maintenance these days (except the food part). I am off tomorrow but have to make up some time I didn't get in today.
Sister is still not feeling well. They brought oxygen to her today and it made her cry. She also has lost her glasses, looked everywhere and we are afraid they were carried away with the trash this morning. And the hits just keep on coming!

I will never forget the first time I saw one of our eaglets do a poop shoot. I thought something bad was happening to him, then I was afraid he was going to back out of the nest and then came the poop shoot. I laughed until I cried!
Sometimes their poop shoots were so powerful they would fall over on their face! Great memories!! Looking through all those pictures today sure made me miss Big Boy, Ms. InBetween and my little Spunkster!!!!
Sharon-It has to be very hard to help someone to uplift their own spirits. Maybe something visual like a beautiful boquet of flowers by her..or get a tape of very very relaxing music. Oxygen isn't so bad - keeps ya going! Portable tanks are ok but heavy! You see more & more people with them out & about.
She really wanted the oxygen cause she said it would make her feel more secure but just the fact of her having to get it made her sad. She will adjust. Change in life is hard but we make it through. She is my elderly 58 year old sister! :):):)
