Steve, it seems like you know what time I come home! lol Thanks again for the new fresh thread. I'll go over and see who is ready to come over. I guess the rain may come later today.
Hi, Everyone! (Yawn!...) Wow, I slept in this morning, got a bit of work done in the house, then fell asleep again for a quick panda nap! Hope I'm caught up on ZZZZs now! May need to go get some coffee to give myself a jump start, though. Looks like a nice day outside. Think it's supposed to be just a bit warmer today, though. How about you guys sending some rain this way? I'm gonna get my rain dance shoes on! Need to catch up on the blog--will be back in a few minutes... :o]
Oh my Goodness! Andrew is up for sale! I wonder why Sharon needs money? Oh Yes, someone did say there was going to be a Train coming to town! Guess she wants to go...
Gosh, sorry to hear that the little koala with burned paws didn't make it! had thought she was doing well. Sounds like they're having a serious problem with that particular koala malady--hope they can come up with a solution for it! Glad to hear that your computer problems have resolved, Jim! I have Time Warner cable internet too, but didn't have the same problem, thank God! Must have just affected your neighborhood. Prayers for Doreen Pospisil--she sure has been through a lot, but hope all will work out for her. The Lord can surely get her through this! God bless her and her family!
Woke from panda nap...needed a longer one so I can stay awake tonight for the game.
Yes I couldn't believe when I read about Sam and the article was dated Aug. 6th. I thought Sam was doing just fine. Yes Lynn must be something like that since it is affecting that many koala's.
You all don't think Braveheart is going to stay around Blackwater do you?
Margy, Lynn, and Judie, Thanks for the congratulations for my test grades--Margy, you got it right when you said I have the right partnership going on! Sometimes I think your prayers and the Lord's help are all that get me through this! My brain is feeling a bit like Swiss cheese this morning; it takes longer to memorize stuff than it used to, for sure! So keep on praying for me, you guys! I have a really hairy test tomorrow night in Anatomy class! Have to know all about the skeleton--all 206 bones. Matter of fact, think I need some coffee to cure the 'Swiss cheese effect'--back in a sec! ;o]
Andrea....thigh bone's connected to the knee bone, knee bone's connected to the leg bone, leg bone's connected to the ankle bone, etc., etc.!!!! You'll do fine!! We all have lots of faith in you, and the Eagle angel will be on your shoulder.
I am in a really p---y mood.....just realized that I forgot (BAD mommy) Cinnamon's 10th birthday----it was on the 1st. And she is taking it out on me...three "accidents" in two days...last evening on my new kitchen carpet...and while getting her to the door she managed to do some more on the living room carpet. So I have been shampooing carpets today...ARGH. On top of that, I put Suz's birthday card in the mailbox this morning; the tree trimming company working for the power company parked in front of my box for three hours, so carrier didn't pick-up/deliver mail, so now the card will be LATE.....I am ANGRY.
ATTENTION, MOMSTERS AND DADSTERS!!!! If you haven't already let me know about attending Open House on Oct. 17th, please do so ASAP! We need a headcount to work off of for dinner reservations! Thanks!!!
Okay, I have been getting confused. I thought Sharon was going on a train ride, but I could not figure out where, but there was going to be a concert on the train, and I thought that was nice, but unusual, then I figured out that Train is a group that is having a concert.
After all that traveling around this morning - hubby just went down to get Alexis to come up again - 2 times in a week - WOW ! I think I'll make it through until 7:30!
Oh My What time does Discovery shuttle touch down........
BTW---the Hedgesville concert ISN'T on a train!!! It's in a field---Charlie Daniels at the WV Bluegrass and BBQ Festival called "Pickin' in the Panhandle".
The astronauts on space shuttle Discovery are ready to wrap up a nearly 13-day flight with a landing this evening at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The first task for Pilot Kevin Ford and Commander Rick Sturckow was to make ready for an orbital adjustment engine firing to move Discovery out of the path of a piece of orbital debris. That burn of Discovery’s orbital maneuvering system engines was performed at 12:02 p.m. EDT. The maneuver will not alter the scheduled landing opportunities today.
Mission specialists Pat Forrester, Jose Hernandez, Danny Olivas, Christer Fuglesang and Tim Kopra join Sturckow and Ford to begin deorbit preparations about 1 p.m. as they get themselves and their ship ready for the ride home.
The deorbit burn for today’s first landing opportunity today, on orbit 202, is at 5:59 p.m. Discovery would cross above southern Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico, skirt west of Cuba and cross the Florida coast above Sarasota, with landing at Kennedy’s runway 15 at 7:05 p.m. A second landing opportunity at Kennedy today would put the shuttle and crew on the ground at 8:42 p.m. The weather forecast for both opportunities today calls for a chance of thunderstorms within 30 nautical miles of the Shuttle Landing Facility.
Andrea, we're supposed to get rain this weekend so I'll send some your way. Listen to Lynn, she knows all about our aching bones.
How handsome is Andrew? I might make a bid so Sharon can ride the train to listen to Train! Shirley, I also had to try to figure out the train tickets to Train...guess I'm still out-of-touch.
Jo, you're number one with me.
I, too, am sorry about Sam. Hope the virus can be contained and stopped.
Lynn, so sorry you had such a bad day. Hope Cinnamon is better and mail delivery will be extra speedy.
Want to check SD cam because I couldn't get connected 20 minutes ago. Then off to the kitchen to create a Taco salad for tonight.
Hi, Gang, I'm back, feeling a bit perkier after some coffee. Had to pay some bills online that I ALMOST forgot about (but almost doesn't count, right?!) Lynn & Dana, thanks--good to know I can always count on prayers from you and the rest of the Momsters! (and Dadsters, too!) Lynn, sorry Cinnamon is not happy with you! Tell you what, though, you should see MY carpet! We've had light biege carpet since 1980, and although it's been cleaned professionally countless times, it's really bad. Can't afford to get it cleaned again, OR replaced. If anyone comes to visit, promise me you won't look DOWN! (Yuck--don't know WHAT to do with it at this point!) Lynn, is Cinnamon feeling OK? Maybe she has a bit of a stomach bug or something. Can't believe she would do that sort of thing on purpose. (Would she?) Maybe... Sounds like you need a panda nap! Maybe Cinnamon does, too. Hope it all turns out OK.
Happy Afternoon Everyone! Busy w/errands and hair appt. that while on way home, I go near a real great place, SO for the 1st time this summer got some steamed crabs!!!!There used to be a crew that had excellent ones the sold in my area on weekends.I would get some almost every Sat. on way home from work---gone now. You guys' concerts sound great. We like Charlie Daniels Band, but are mostly rock 'n roll fans. That's right, just heard on news Shuttle should land at 7:30 UNLESS rainstorm gets too close, then they wait 24 hrs.
Hi everyone. Blessings around. All this talk about a train makes me want to get away. I hear they will have a concert onboard too. Wow. That's my way to travel! Is Sharon ready for a Train ride?!
Decided on a BIG salad for supper tonight so my schedule will be clear for THE GAME!!! I just have to advise hubby no talking during the plays - only at commercials.
Had some good news about youngest grandson. There's nothing wrong with his not talking yet. He's behind on his speech but way ahead with his other skills. Daughter has been teaching him sign language but is giving him verbal instructions at the same time, so this is not a crutch. Whew; that worried me. He'll be getting some speech therapy though. I can't wait for him to say "Nana."
God bless you all and have a good evening and good night. I doubt I'll be back until after the game. Go Steelers!!
Judie, if you can get some rain my way, I'll be your BFF!! Sounds like a plan to me! Shirley, hope you manage to get all rested up. I know yesterday was a pretty tough day, and I think we're all kinda feeling the aftereffects today. Maybe you need a panda nap, too! Jo, sounds like you're having a wonderful day! I wish my gds and ggd were close enough for me to see them that much! Miss them terribly. Have fun for me! You can rest up tomorrow. There are such wonderful memories to be made!
Happy about the grandson, Diann. Friend of mine didn't speak one word until age 3 then started with complete sentences, has been a college professor for 30 years -- still talking. Be sure to share the big "Nana" event with us.
Diego resting with mom and squirming to get loose.
Prayers that Lynn's card WILL get to its destination on time--on the wings of eagle angels! (Don't forget, with God, ALL things are possible!) Oops--gotta go water patio plants, before they start gasping for relief! BBIALW... :o]
Mmmm...love taco salad, Judie. And crabs, too, Loretta! Andy, I can get you a good deal on carpet. My guy owns a carpet store! Of course, getting the installers there might be a problem.....:( I think Cinnamon is just getting old. She sleeps SO soundly for prolonged stretches, and then wakes up w/ urgency---just like lots of us gals! Yep, Judy, I was wondering if Sharon was taking bids on Andrew, too!
New Shoe Story - Upon arrival home Anthony showed his mom his 'handsome new shoes' (that is how he describes them) and then proceeded to go to his bedroom, remove his shoes and placed them under his bed. He walks to the side door in his socks and is getting ready to go outside when his mother asks where are your shoes - please put them on - BUT, Anthony says - They're NEW!
Me, too, Jo---2 up from the bottom. Sounds like a big oven! Diann, glad to hear gs is doing well. I was so worried when my eldest wasn't walking by 2----but doc wasn't concerned, and all turned out well. Think she was just lazy! As for talking...my dad always said "we spend the first two years of their lives teaching them to talk, and the rest of ours wishing they didn't!".
Great story----NJ zoo camel who has predicted NFL games will NOT predict this year iun protest of Michael Vick playing, and a Philadephia animal welfare group is going to donate a bag of dogfood every time he gets tackled!! Right on!
Good evening! So, now Sharon has her child for sale. Anyone call CPS???? All for a Train ride!!!
Watching Oprah, pretty good show. Great magician and now Jennifer Hudson.
Trailer is parked in the driveway. Going to start packing for the coast. Whoopee!
Good news about your Grandson, Diann. Know it is always a concern when they are just delayed a little. However, hubby Jack did not talk until late. Nothing wrong with him. lol
How old is your grandson? He will probably start talking in full sentences.
Sophia is 3 yrs old & she talks but sometimes it isn't understandable.... phonetically speaking. Dr said she has a Lazy Tongue - With 2 older brothers to do everything for you - Why Not?
dont worry about the walking and talking. It happens when you get ready. Rick my youngest didnt have to walk. He was carried around by his much older sibs. Why walk.
Incidentally - her hearing was tested and from a 1 (the best) to 10 Sophia was a 2. Dr told them very few if any have perfect hearing. She may be going to get some speech therapy but mom & dad and brothers are working with her...
Jo, is is interesting how children learn to talk and how they develope. Jacob has been so easy to understand and when I talk on the phone with him he is so clear. Joseph who is 8 and 9 next month is still sometimes hard to understand.
Steve my oldest talked at a very early age and the doctor was amazed. he could sing on key at 18 months but walking was slow. they each have their own timeclock
Joseph has always talked fast and has a little tongue thrust, but his teachers have never said anything. I blame it on drinking out of sippy cups for so long. lol (That is a grandma's prerogative!)
Bill and I are going to Williamsburg and then where ever he wants to go. He has a new car and wants to drive it. I didnt get to see much of Williamsburg when I was last there.
Hi, gang, Back from watering my thirsty plants and feeding my hungry birds. Gosh, it's HOT (mid-90s) again today! What the heck!?! I'm getting really tired of this. Guess what--I'm not going outside again, either. Hey, A-M, you and I are on the same page there! Haven't seen an oriole today, and now I wonder if they've left to go south for the winter (WHAT winter?!). Still have hummers, though.
First Landing Opportunity Waved Off Thu, 10 Sep 2009 08:25:38 PM UTC-0100
The weather forecast is "no go" today for the first landing opportunity at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If the weather cooperates for the second Kennedy landing opportunity tonight, the deorbit burn would occur at 7:35 p.m. EDT with landing at 8:40 p.m.
I just got bounced off the blog. Strange..... My brother Bill and his sweet wife Sandy have never been so we thought we would make it an adventure. Sandy vacation ends the 6th so we have to be back home in Toledo by then. Just doesnt work out with the momsters weekend this year.
Anne-Marie, I'm sure you're right--those orioles are pretty smart birds, and bet they're waiting for the sun to get lower in the sky to show up here. That way there will be shade at the bird feeder!
To throw in my 2 cents worth on kids walking & talking, they all seem to be on their own timetable. Sometimes when they talk later, they come out with an entire paragraph instead of a first word! As far as walking, it's a complicated sport to learn, so everyone's a little different. Don't worry about it, and it'll happen. I was a preemie, and my Mom & Dad always said they couldn't believe what I did--went from flat on my back to a dead run at less than 8 months old! (No walking in-between!) My grandfather was a track & field star at Michigan State, so maybe I got the running gene. Go figure. My daughter & granddaughters, and the ggd, all walked at different ages. No figuring it.
I did click there & before everything did come up ......... Today it just kept rolling and rolling and rolling and never opened! I will try again later.
Anne Marie You need to know that if Bill wants to go home from Williamsburg by way of Shepherdstown there would be a group waiting to meet you for a visit to the nest & then dinner of lunch during the first part of Oct. Just give us some warning!
We have a new advisory class that meets for 20 minutes on Wednesdays. I am supposed to guide students and advise them on things like college prep and avoiding bullying, etc. I asked the students to write on a card what things they would like to do during the allotted time. Biggest vote--eat. They want me to bring them food.
Teenagers! Why did I even ask? Some did say they would like to know more about applying for college and the SATs. Maybe I will try cookies. If I bring food a couple of times , I can suggest that they chip in. Then I can slip in the serious material.
2 POSSIBLE FL landings tomorrow---5:48pm or 7:23pm, but weather report not favorable. Will be "readying" Edwards' AFB for potential landing....time TBA.
Oh, forgot. Diego was alone on his back and after several minutes of struggle he turned himself over. Mom arrived about a minute later. This was just a bit after 7pm. Have to wonder if she's watching to see his progress?
that is odd, because I opened it up on my email...and it had the tinyurl page up....went to blog and same thing...let me try again....yes I know the page it is their brand new site
At the Town Spring in Hedgesville at 9:30 Mema... ceremony will include Honor Guard from the 167th ANG in Martinsburg, three high school students reading their winning essays regarding 9-1-1 and a keynote address by Chief Warrant Officer 5 William H. Wortley, a Hedgesville resident who was responsible for the Army Assets at the Pentagon on Sept 11, 2001. Also one gentleman from Winchester, from the Pipe and Drum Corps, and another to play taps. A few other appearances and speeches also.
Lots to read today, I should have been taking notes :(
Of course enjoyed all the children stories, hearing from Anne-Marie, and everyone else.
James was so little when he was born his hearing had not developed right for quite some time. After awhile when we could not understand his "talking" he started hitting us sometimes out of frustration I guess... that's all behind us now...
Goop was a big hit at the office, all three of my co-workers and I had it with Croissant rolls... even with the asparagus soup, Wanda, you might have liked it! Judie, maybe I will get some to you at Open House ! ☺
Going to stockpile my money for a few weeks, might offer to pay Big Bucks to someone if they will work my Open House Saturday shift ! But someone might like a trade that day for Hallowe-en.. Think I can make some of the meals at least...gotta meet new Momsters!
Yes, Margy, Gene really enjoyed the info that Chrissy sent to him. Then I had to listen to it all and I don't like History! He needs to get back on his feet and get with Jerry or some of his Male friends. He surely must be tired of "only" me for the last 9 days:)
Hope the Pittsburgh Steelers fans are enjoying themselves...right now it is a Quarterback's duel...score Tenn 0 - Pittsburgh 0 in the second quarter.... With that score, even the Tennessee fans would be happy....
Megan :<( I just remembered that Saturday my Catonsville grandson is spending the night and then Sunday we will drive him home....... I am going to miss Market! I was thinking I would be there this weekend because I missed last weekend.
Jack has been glued to the TV watching Ga Tech and Clemson. Guess football season has truly started.
Paula or someone told me the little URL directions were on our Momsters page. Went there but when I clicked what should be the directions nothing happened. I lost the directions and should would like them again.
Hi, Everyone, Made sandwiches for dinner so we wouldn't make the kitchen any hotter. Had deli macaroni salad with them, and dill pickles. Tasted pretty good. It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow, so I might go to a Barnes & Noble or Borders to study and get online. At least it will be air conditioned! Need to get more creative to beat the heat. Would love to be at the beach with it raining--sounds just heavenly!
Chrissy had another incident today with teenagers throwing something at her patio door. This time she called the police. They were coming by tonight or tomorrow. She is hopping mad now!

Prayers for Doreen... Maybe all of us can pray her through this!
Time for my 3:00 cup coffee...
Forgot to say that we had a Toys R Us
visit after lunch - lots of fun stuff
and $$ from Mema. Who else would do it?

Lynn so sorry about getting told off about missing the 10th birthday....bet you would rather have that wren fussing at you.
Yeah, Dana, don't have to clean up after the wren---since I moved the basket off the deck, that is!!
ATTENTION, MOMSTERS AND DADSTERS!!!!

Jo, scheduled for 7:05!
Got ya! Thanks Lynn
Jo, enjoy Alexis and Discovery.

Andrea, I'll definitely send rain and Shirley, rest up.

2 up from the bottom

Hi family , anyone home?
Its hot here and I need to go to the bank and wont go out in this heat for anything.
Hi AM!
We have had a break in the heat here. It is presently 85 and possible rain and even better temps.
Hi Lolly, guess everyone else is eating dinner. I just had lunch. thats what happens when you live "way out west"..:)
Sophia is 3 yrs old & she talks but sometimes it isn't understandable....
phonetically speaking. Dr said she has
a Lazy Tongue - With 2 older brothers to do everything for you - Why Not?
Yes! I am thinking about starting dinner in about an hour. Had fun chatting with Chrissy today on facebook. She is six hours ahead of me.
dont worry about the walking and talking. It happens when you get ready. Rick my youngest didnt have to walk. He was carried around by his much older sibs. Why walk.
Chrissy is a joy. What a wonderful personality
Jo did you get my email about our weekend in facebook?
Steve my oldest talked at a very early age and the doctor was amazed. he could sing on key at 18 months but walking was slow. they each have their own timeclock
Joseph has always talked fast and has a little tongue thrust, but his teachers have never said anything. I blame it on drinking out of sippy cups for so long. lol (That is a grandma's prerogative!)
Anne Marie I pray you get some cool breezes soon! I hope you can figure the Open House into your Oct travels.
My Brandon has one too and goes to therapy at school. He is 8. His mother had one too and grew out of it.
Just heard thunder! Loweeda....do a rain dance!!!!!!
thanks Jo, I'm working on it. It would take two whole days on a greyhound to make it and I'm not sure I'm that strong.
Anne Marie, are you going to Open House?
OK Lolly, send some west for me
Anne Marie - I got your message in my regular emails and when I tried to open in FB I couldn't find it.
I am not too good on FB...
Lolly, I will be in Toledo and I'm trying to figure out how to get there
From Chrissy on being a bottle buddy at the Open House....
OH great,, "Bottle Buddies",, I'd like to be a fine Old French Champagne,, but in reality more like and old fizzed out lemonade,,,,, [ laughing ],,
Anne Marie Would there be a Train ?
Train like locomotive not
Train like musical...... Sharon can explain the difference....... lol
Jo, go to your profile and then to the top where it says "inbox". Click there.
Lolly Be sure to email Paula the pic
you want in your wine bottle.
Well, I hope you make it. I will be there....in a bottle. Oh well, I am already planning next year.(If they will still have me!)
Diana is into "train" the musical group. so I know the difference. I am still checking and seeing what I can find.
Jo, going to work on getting a skinny picture in front of my pond, as requested by Wanda. lol
Bill and I are going to Williamsburg and then where ever he wants to go. He has a new car and wants to drive it. I didnt get to see much of Williamsburg when I was last there.
Hi, gang,
Back from watering my thirsty plants and feeding my hungry birds.
Gosh, it's HOT (mid-90s) again today! What the heck!?! I'm getting really tired of this. Guess what--I'm not going outside again, either. Hey, A-M, you and I are on the same page there!
Haven't seen an oriole today, and
now I wonder if they've left to go south for the winter (WHAT winter?!). Still have hummers, though.
How do you get a skinny picture?
You suck it up! lol
Hi Bookworm, when it gets hot the birds are smart enough to leave for the hills where its cool. Only silly people stay in the valley.
I'm sucking and it doesnt help....
Oh, I LOVE Williamsburg! Went two times last year. My favorite time thought is Christmas. The Grand Illumination is fantastic!
Stand sideways! If that does not work, use your photo shop to skinny you up! lol
First Landing Opportunity Waved Off
Thu, 10 Sep 2009 08:25:38 PM UTC-0100
The weather forecast is "no go" today for the first landing opportunity at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If the weather cooperates for the second Kennedy landing opportunity tonight, the deorbit burn would occur at 7:35 p.m. EDT with landing at 8:40 p.m.
I just got bounced off the blog. Strange.....
My brother Bill and his sweet wife Sandy have never been so we thought we would make it an adventure. Sandy vacation ends the 6th so we have to be back home in Toledo by then. Just doesnt work out with the momsters weekend this year.
Hi Mits, sending hugs.
Anne-Marie,
I'm sure you're right--those orioles are pretty smart birds, and bet they're waiting for the sun to get lower in the sky to show up here.
No figuring it.
company here. BBl
Gotta go fix dinner. Storms in the area....temp down to 82.
Great talking with you Anne Marie. Have a great time seeing your brother and Sandy. Tell them hello from Texas!
BBL
I did click there & before everything did come up ......... Today it just kept rolling and rolling and rolling and never opened! I will try again later.
backatcha, Anne-Marie:)
Anne Marie You need to know that if Bill wants to go home from Williamsburg by way of Shepherdstown there would be a group waiting to meet you for a visit to the nest & then dinner of lunch during the first part of Oct. Just give us some warning!
This is a test!
OK, Sharon, you passed the test:)
Holy Toledo, Batman!
Did somebody say "TRAIN"???
I am glad. It is a pain in the butt to change your email address. I had forgotten!
Okay, I am heading to a meeting. Will check back in after 9!
Thanks Mits for update on shuttle.
Sharon did you see where Diana, Anne Marie's granddaughter, Loves Train!
WOW
BEAUTIFUL EAGLE IN OUR NEST
Remember to hit F5/Refresh at about 15 secs to update the cam
Sent out quickie email
Hope some others come on.........
Love that clean lens......
Hate to leave such wonderful company but the time has come. BBIALW!
See you after 9:00
Hope our eagle is waiting for another eagle and not just checking to see that the night light comes on!
Wow! Nice, long eagle visit.
looks like skinny Lib
Poof!
Poof
Be sure you bring them Brain Food!
NO GO FOR LANDING TONIGHT FOR SHUTTLE
Lots of Poofing going on!
weather looks worse for tomorrow's try
Shuttle landing off in FL. Waiting to hear about CA info....
Good idea, Jo.
I thought I saw two when it all started out...did anyone else see two ? I think it was around 6:55...
Hello.
xo
They could very well be flying around for a few days....
24 hrs. more in orbit.
2 POSSIBLE FL landings tomorrow---5:48pm or 7:23pm, but weather report not favorable. Will be "readying" Edwards' AFB for potential landing....time TBA.
EAGLE ALERT!!!
Gone again.
Maybe I thought I was seeing two white heads but maybe it was really just one white head and one white tail....
Was on the phone with a dear friend, nope, didn't take any pictures.
Wah, no Florida landing, will be watching the schedule, thank you folks for the information.
BBIALW - next door neighbor visit coming up...
xo
Close up of Diego nursing
Anne-Marie--about that picture, just stand in front of someone much larger.
Taco salad was good. Full and tired now. Think I will take a little rest and read today's newspaper.
Guess I missed the eagle visit but maybe tomorrow.
Oh, forgot. Diego was alone on his back and after several minutes of struggle he turned himself over. Mom arrived about a minute later. This was just a bit after 7pm. Have to wonder if she's watching to see his progress?
Jo, Margy saw 2....we were on the phone!
I did take a few pictures.
Caught up on blog!
Hey, A-M---echoing Jo---whenever you can swing through the area, we'll be here!
Had to be around 7:34 for 2 to be there but for only a minute
One was there for about 20 min.
Norma, if you check in....Nancy's name listed on Strider's website, but no obit or info with it yet. Will keep you advised.
Margie has
Double Vision
Time to get hopping for my chair and ready for "football game"....GO STEELERS!!! Win or Lose ...GO STEELERS!!!!
Evening, all!
Got the car all clean, inside and out! I hate road trips in a dirty car! Now I can get it full of sand! And I suppose it will rain now, too, LOL
Sorry I missed the visit!
Cams of Ocean City
There you go Paula.. Very wet down there but it shouldn't dampen your
trip! Drive safely and have fun!
Good night friends. See you tomorrow.
Hey Paula, Have a great time!!
Paula, you have mail....make sure you bring the sun with you.....we have had a heavy day of wind and rain....extremely heavy rain now

Me Too: Paula - Hope you have a really really good time and get lots of sand between your toes!
We will miss you !!
xoxo ☺ ♥
I will surely try, Mits. But frankly, I don't care what the weather is like. I like the beach rain or shine, hot or cold!
Awww Jo !
How I would love to watch that YouTube with Sound ♪ ♫ - maybe this week-end I can get it figured out!
I think this week has been great...love watching the angry ocean with all its power..did you get the mail, Paula?
Back at ya, Mits.
I have to go pack for the beach!!!
I have about 200 posts to read from today's - better go do that so I can be more polite.
Jo's link worked for me...
One bikini, one raincoat, and a camera, that won't take long to pack!
It did just now for me...... It is a
new page and the cams are drop down box. Paula & Megan Did the OC cams work for you gals.
that is odd, because I opened it up on my email...and it had the tinyurl page up....went to blog and same thing...let me try again....yes I know the page it is their brand new site
A Belated Good Night to you Shirley.
I didn't see you leave
Talk to you tomorrow...
It's Red Friday
it is also 9-11....a day we will never forget:(
Link worked for me
Do you know of anything special going on anywhere concerning 9-11 ?
Megan - if we get heavy heavy rain Fri/Sat will it mean no market flowers for Sun?
Think I would add a sweatshirt to your pack, Paula! Do have a fun time!! And don't challenge the lifeguards!
Margy - whenever they play taps I always fight back the tears.
ALready cutting some flowers for Sunday, Jo. WIll cut many tomorrow morning. And I'll believe rain when I actually see it...
Friend of mine made me a CD -
NYC Fire Department, Emerald Society, "All Hands Working" Pipes and Drums... shortly after
Sept 11, 2001...
I fight back the tears too, Jo, then I just give up the fight and cry...
I am a Steelers Fan, also. Use to listen to the games on the radio when we lived in Pa. and before we had TV!
Or was that the Pittsburgh Pirates games we listened to on the radio? I'll have to ask GeeGee:)
The new shoes story, great one, Mema...can picture little Anthony now...
Hedgie.. I think your card will get to Suzanne on time...after all, it is not going to Naples, Fla!
I haven't cried but once or twice in the past 10 years. Recently went off a pill prescribed for me, and I cry over spilled milk:) THIS IS TRUE!
Good to hear Gene was enjoying some history from Merry Old England today, Wanda ☺
Deb
Prayers for Doreen, that was a lovely site you posted, great photographs and very spirited.
Hope you enjoyed your day in the Wild today...
LOL...Thought James was gonna hit Gene out of frustration with him calling him GEORGE! (Kidding)
LOL Wanda!
We need to make another visit!
Yes, Margy, Gene really enjoyed the info that Chrissy sent to him. Then I had to listen to it all and I don't like History! He needs to get back on his feet and get with Jerry or some of his Male friends. He surely must be tired of "only" me for the last 9 days:)
Hope the Pittsburgh Steelers fans are enjoying themselves...right now it is a Quarterback's duel...score Tenn 0 - Pittsburgh 0
in the second quarter....
With that score, even the Tennessee fans would be happy....
Not a chance, Wanda !
Gene would never tire of his Tiger !
Are the guys doing any of the extra hunting season time in late September??
I need to go find my pajamas...
TTFN xox
Not that I know of, Margy. I think they save all their time and energy for November:)
I bet Dickie will be going out as soon as he can, archery comes in sometime around the 20th, he hunts locally too....
Megan :<( I just remembered that Saturday my Catonsville grandson is spending the night and then Sunday we
will drive him home....... I am going
to miss Market! I was thinking I would
be there this weekend because I missed last weekend.
Hey Mema !
I am off Sunday - I will try to get to market in your place. I need flowers and plants, Bad !
Yup, got my raincoat and jeans and a warm shirt. And everything else in the book...decisions, decisions.....back to packing...
CRS - I was going to look for my pajamas...maybe I can find some RED ones like Norma has !
xo
I am back. You all have been a little chatty while I was gone!
Hi Sharon! Packing for your Train ride?
Lolly, how did you know? :)
Think I would use Cream of Mushroom for my taste, Margy!!! Don't like the green spears!
Jack has been glued to the TV watching Ga Tech and Clemson. Guess football season has truly started.
Paula or someone told me the little URL directions were on our Momsters page. Went there but when I clicked what should be the directions nothing happened. I lost the directions and should would like them again.
Hi, Everyone,
Made sandwiches for dinner so we wouldn't make the kitchen any hotter. Had deli macaroni salad with them, and dill pickles. Tasted pretty good. It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow, so I might go to a Barnes & Noble or Borders to study and get online. At least it will be air conditioned! Need to get more creative to beat the heat. Would love to be at the beach with it raining--sounds just heavenly!
lol Sharon! Thought I heard you mention something about a train ride.
Pittsburgh 7, Tenn Titans - 0
Sharon I have used that, also Golden Mushroom soup, Cream of Broccoli, Tomato, and Cream of Celery....
no batch of Goop is ever the same ☺
Chrissy had another incident today with teenagers throwing something at her patio door. This time she called the police. They were coming by tonight or tomorrow. She is hopping mad now!
Well, Lolly, I was just going to email you the instructions but realized I don't have your email address????
I'm thinking we need to get across the Pond En Masse...and chase those teenagers down.....
Momster Power!
Titans just scored, 7-7
Shar--if you have a new email address, please send it to me!!
Hey there Andy...
How are your bones doing tonight?
Lynn, you've got mail. I thought I sent it to you earlier today. I am going to send it through eaglet momsters again.
Sharon, I would email you my address but I do not have your new one!
Great! Email yours through momsters and I will email you.
I could be a go-between Lolly and Sharon....if I can get Yahoo to open....
Wax!!
and split!!
Yeah!
