Way to go Ceil - you beat me to it! I was checking on Diego and it kicked me off the blog...so when I re-opened, I saw that "0" in the comments box...

Thanks Steve for the fresh thread.

Going to call it a night. Pleasant dreams and prayers for all

paula eagleholic said...

LOL, it's definitely night out there!

Evening, all!

paula eagleholic said...

Good news about Davin? Will check the other thread...

hedgie said...

Paula, Davin came through surgery well and it was successful!

Jo, questions answered!! Found and escaped!

Glad you enjoyed your sweet dinner, sweet Margy!

paula eagleholic said...

Lolly - hope you enjoy the pizza casserole...you can definitely make it with most kinds of pasta...the short kinds, that is! The kids should like it too!

There are chestnut trees at my Mom's house and next door. The nuts have been falling for weeks! I think a squirrel dumped his stash the other night, sounded like a bucketful crashing through the trees.

Glad Davin made it through w/ a good report from the Dr...more prayers for more healing to come.

Was in Colorado Springs in September...had several inches of snow the day I was leaving...was sure hoping the flight wouldn't be cancelled...it wasn't.

Margy - that breakfast dinner sounded great!

Just got a thought~~~~and put some reunion pics on blog. I never took a pic of outside of school! Can drive by it sometime---not the same w/additions, tho. Biology Lab, where I lived for 6 years, looks like a chemistry lab now!

So you had a good time Lowreeda? :)

hedgie said...

Love your pics, Loretta! Could tell everyone was having fun....and your displays and banner are great!!! Congrats on your success!

Time for me to start the dinner. Signing off for the night. See you momsters in the morning! No sign of dadster Jim all day, but goodnight to him, too.

Prayers for all, especially Davin and Mrs. Riffe tonight.

NatureNut said...

Hi Paula. I'm sure you had a better time than we did! I never got to cruise the whole room & some of us thought we needed a few more hours together in someplace like a lobby w/couches and comfy chairs to chat! Of course there's email. We had over 100 students, not counting spouses/dates which they said was pretty good out of 415 graduates.

movin said...

Hi, everybody.

Been a little under and on the wrong sleep schedule. That means when I'm awake, I've got to take care of business elsewhere.

Probably be back to normal pretty soon.....

It's been hot here for quite a long time now, and we were supposed to get a desert wind condition about now; however it has been in the 90° range today..still with the regular winds and the high humidity. I notice they've removed the extreme weather warning about the Santa Ana winds from the Weather Channel.

Hope you are having a good time. Seen anything interesting on the cams??

We had a family reunion one year near Cripple Creek, CO, in July. We got to have a snow ball fight in the evening, by the next day all gone and very nice outside.

deb said...

Nice pictures, Loretta. It is nice to see the posters we have been hearing about.

stronghunter said...

Just stopping by to say good night. See you tomorrow.

paula eagleholic said...

Cripple Creek is neat...went there as well.

Lowreeda - ya'll had great attendance as well! Looks like a great time...it's so nice to catch up with old friends...

deb said...

It is a neat place, Paula. I remember going to my Uncle's store way back when and then later he became the Post Master, so we always stopped in at the Post Office.

10 Sander's children all born at home in Cripple Creek. My mom was number 6!

deb said...

That is so cool, Jo, I am pretty sure you are right about it being a fox.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,
SO happy to hear that Davin's surgery was successful! Continued prayers for a complete and speedy recovery. Prayers for you, too, Norma--bet you're feeling a bit thrashed tonight, too!
Jim, I was on the same crazy schedule on Sunday night--probably only slept about an hour all night. A few long panda naps on Monday fixed me up.
Gee whiz, two new fires here today--one near Moorpark, and one in Norco. Station Fire is now 94% contained, with full containment expected by late Thursday. As of today, it's burned for 28 days.

Mema Jo said...

Deb - I think there are 2 of them now.

Mema Jo said...

Something must have scared them off.

They went Poof! And now the one has
returned...... & gone again. lol

Ms Bookworm said...

Just watched the video of today's panda cub exam. Would you LOOK at that roly poly belly! There oughta be a law against any one creature being that CUTE! Diego is really growing!!

deb said...

Darn, I looked away and missed when there were two of them.

Ms Bookworm said...

Well, better go back to studying for tomorrow's exam in Pharmacology.
Prayers for Davin, and for Tom's mother (Tom & Sissy also!), and for everyone else, too. Sweet dreams, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. G'night! :o]

Mema Jo said...

deb said...

I am headed to relax too. Something is back at Okie, maybe a baby fox?

paula eagleholic said...

Can you believe Diego is 1 1/2 ft long! He is sooo cute!

Just got off the phone w/ the college kid....don't know if I told ya'll, but he finally broke up over the summer with the girlfriend that we all hated! He is way over her, and having the best time at college...going out and doing fun things with friends from school. This past weekend he went white water rafting, and in a couple of weeks he's going camping. Been playing chess at the chess club, and helped get the sociology club going again. I am so glad he is finally getting more involved at school...been too tied up w/ gf before to get into too much there.

paula eagleholic said...

Gonna sign off for tonight, got some paperwork to finish up...talked on phone too long, but it was worth it!

Catch ya'll tomorrow!

Hugs to all ♥

It looks like I'm going to be last on here once again. My days have been crazy and nights tiring. I did manage to watch TV from 8 o'clock on. Watched "The Good Wife" I think I'm going to like it. Taped the NCIS shows, but read comments and now know what happens:( I probably won't find time to watch them anyway!
Going to try for some sleep now.

hedgie said...

Good morning, one and all!
Such encouraging news about Davin, Norma....prayers continue...and they work!!!
Still no new word from Sissy, huh???
I sent Suz Norma's update.
Jim, sorry you haven't been up to par----hope things are better quick. Praying for you and for Diann, too. Di, is the shoulder pain what has caused you to neeed to sleep in recliner? Can only imagine how painful it must be.
Norma, did you hear that Byrd fell and is back in the hospital due to a high white blood cell count---apparently another infection. They are denying that he sustained any injury when he fell.

hedgie said...

BIL made it in safely....enjoyed his dinner and slept well. Left here at 8:30 am for his 14 hr. drive on to St. Louis.

Paula, where does your son go to college? Sounds like breakup was a really good decision. Too many things to do in those four years to be tied down like that!!

deb said...

YEA! so nice to see some progress on the Cam. Hopefully an easy fix to get it updating again.

Mema Jo said...

There really isn't anything there to see when the 30 sec refresh happens.
Still cam is very still... We'll need to wait until we have visitors.

deb said...

Good morning all, just finished breakfast and am caught up on blog.

Norma, glad you got to talk with Davin! Diann, good luck with the surgery on your shoulder. Prayers to everyone in need.

Lolly said...

What is that orange NCTC on the cam? Have not had that before, have we? Or am I just that unobservant?

Have lost the OK birdfeeder cam and can not find it. Would someone please help me out. Found Pat's Backyard cam in OK, but not as good as the previous one.

Mits said...

OKIE CAM

Mits said...

it says NCTC EAGLE CAM, Lolly, have never seen it on here before, but at the closed circuit TV at NCTC it has the same thing, only in black, as I recall.

Mema Jo said...

Sissy had a message on FB last evening that Tom's mom came home and I think she was given an antibiotic. Nothing real serious. If I read more I'll relay it unless Sissy signs in...

Diann - I pray you can endure this pain for the next 2 weeks. Then I pray your surgery & recovery is successful

NORMA - I would have had to cry tears of joy and I bet you did too when you hung up. Prayers for you and Divan & family.

paula eagleholic said...

Well, some progress at least for our cam :)

Lolly said...

Thanks Mits! Do not know how I lost it off my favorites list. Must have deleted it by mistake.

Good, Jo. I hated to think I just had never noticed it before. Sure hope we see Belle and Lib soon. Beginning to have withdrawal symtems.

Lolly said...

You know you have mosquitoes bad when you sit in your house, swatting mosquitoes. Going to have to start wearing repellent in the house! That's what all this rain has done!!

hedgie said...

Diann, missed saying that I'm sorry to hear about George's passing. He is certainly in a better place. Hope his family is doing okay, and that she will be able to move back "home".

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good morning everybody. Great to see a pic on our cam this morning!

hedgie said...

Andy, glad that the book arrived relatively quickly! Hope it helps you. Good luck on the pharmacology test tonight...know you'll do well!
Glad that the Santa Ana's aren't going to be a problem at present; hopefully that will allow the FF's to get the fires completely out. Know you are doing a rain dance.

Lolly, don't you DARE feel guilty for "doing nothing"! You accomplish a lot! I really don't have a lot of spare time lately, but feel as if I'm studying when I'm reading 'Gray's Anatomy'! It's really fascinating the way we're put together! Now that you mention it, though, I do need to study for the exam tonight, so will be back a bit later, when I need a break! Have a good Wednesday!
