EXCELLENT, BOB. I was in Maine once, a number of years ago and loved it. Scenery is beautiful, everywhere you look. My Father took ill and we had to go back home, so I didn't get my FILL of Maine. Hope to go back there some day.

Update on Mason's Progress

My early bird morning was followed by a good sleep. Just had lunch! My day is going to be lazy...
Family reunion coming up Sat so I will be making some specialties - you know they won't let me in unless I bring the potato salad (the kind mom made)
I am always fearful it won't turn out It is a cooked dressing......

Either Braveheart has left or she's fishing for a longer period... When I first looked there were 5 Fish Crows, and now there are a couple of EEuuuwies on the nest.

Good Eagle Afternoon (they are out there flying around, we know it! ) and Eagle Morning still for the West Coasters

I'm headed to Morgan County this afternoon, wanted to post this first for any local yocals who might be interested:

Potomac Audubon Society is sponsoring a Hawk-Watching trip, in Jefferson County, WV Thursday morning, Rain Date Friday or maybe not at all if it rains Friday

Meet at 0830 at entrance to Martin's Grocery at Jefferson Crossroads Shopping Center on Rt 340 - then the group will head to Harpers Ferry (maybe the Jefferson Monument?) for hawk-watching. This is the prime migration time for many kinds of hawks, including Sharp-shinned, American Kestrel, RS'ed and Rt'ed hawks and Northern Harrier.."prime vantage point for watching these magnificent birds as they ride the thermals along the ridge lines."

Trip could last until 4 pm, you can leave whenever you want/need to, and pack a lunch and dress sensibly.

Watch being led by Matt Orsie, a local birding expert.

No fee, no advanced registration. Bring water, lunch and field glasses!

For more info: call Matt Orsie, at 304-261-5602, or email, to be listed on the E-M email page.

I can't guarantee the schedule has not changed, this was from the local rag a few days ago.

Sounds like a good opportunity!

I might go, but have to be ready to bail for work if they call me.

Headed out, first over to E-M with that email address.

Love you, folks...Take Care of Yourselves !

xo ☺ ♥

Sure wish I could go, Margy. Sounds like fun...and I love Harper's Ferry.

Did ya'll know that Harper's Ferry will be featured on the back of a new quarter series coming out, featuring National Parks and Wildlife refuges from all 50 states + more?

Quick update: many thanks for the thoughts and prayers for the brother of my Deputy Sheriff friend in Houston. Her brother's surgery was successful; all of the cancerous tumor was removed. Must still have radiation but very good news.

Margy, hope you get to go on the hawk-watching. If you do, let us know all about it.

Mema Jo said...

Great idea for the quarters... That will be a collectors items as were the state/emblem over the past.

Good Morning/Afternoon, Everyone!
Here I am, dragging in late. Got Hubby off to work, and managed to go back to sleep for a major panda nap! Guess I really needed it!
Feeling contrary today--had lunch for breakfast, and may have breakfast for lunch!
Lynn, so sorry to hear of the loss of your BIL's BIL! Prayers for you and the family. My heart goes out to you!
Judie, thrilled to hear that your friend's brother is doing so well!
Relieved to hear that the surgery was such a success. Praying for a complete recovery!
Jim, gotta tell you about a red-tailed hawk pair that the family and I used to watch. It was probably 25 years ago. Two blocks from our house, there's a 7-11 on the corner, and behind it used to be a huge, open field, with a line of big eucalyptus trees marking the far property line. A pair of red-tailed hawks moved in, and did a spectacular job of keeping the field relatively rodent-free. The female hawk had a favorite perch on a bare and highly visible branch of one of the trees, and all of us would watch for her as we drove by on Lincoln Avenue, which was fairly busy even then.
That pair was around for years, and we got in some serious raptor watching in those days! We all were heartbroken when they cut down the trees and built a huge apartment complex where the field had been. That was maybe 20 years ago. The hawks moved on. They hung around for a while near the Lincoln onramp to the 57 freeway, but then suddenly they were gone with the wind. Still miss them! There are still a surprising number of red-tails around if you know where to look, but this pair was really special to us.
Bob, the new photos are just wonderful! Love the lighthouse pictures, and the ones of the house reflected in the water, AND the flower pictures! Fantastic job!
Well, I've gabbed for too long--sorry! Need some more coffee, and gotta go study like crazy for the test tonight in Pharmacology! Will check in here a little later. Hope everyone has a great day!
Prayers being said for everyone. Later, alligators! :o]

Judie said...

Andrea, as for pharmacology -- try two aspirin and another panda nap -- should be able to answer all questions correctly. You're gonna rock tonight!

I was hoping for something besides a blue screen. Going to check out some other cams.

Lolly said...

So, sorry Jo! Come on down! I'll even paint your toe nails!

Jack looked up Osprey in Texas. They are migrating through here until December. Then back through in the spring. Those four we saw are the only osprey I have seen in Texas. Hope to see more while we are leaving.

Since the hummingbirds are migrating through here, I was hoping for hummingbirds. No luck so far.

We are here where the whooping cranes winter. Maybe should come back in the winter to see them.

Drove to the harbor a little while ago. We watched a container ship leave the pass. Also saw where the Polly Anna shrimp boat docks. Hope to go down there some morning and get some really fresh shrimp. Yum!

Having an early G&T. Life is good!

Hi again! What a long day this was----nothing ever goes fast at the VA!

Thanks for all kind thoughts---frankly, I had never the met the man who died---and I don't believe that my BIL was very close to him, but their family is now just him and his sister and her kids.

Weather looks a little iffy for Thursday for the Hawk Watching...
but if work does not call me early in the morning, I am going to give it a try. Too good of an opportunity to miss out on...I guess the watching will be from Jefferson Rock...the article did not exactly state which "monument" the group would go to in Harpers Ferry.
Maybe I will see that Eagle that Jo's Jenny has seen over that way. ☺

magpie said...

Some leaves are starting to change color in Morgan County, must be day length (phototropism ? is that the term?) because we sure have not had a frost yet. Also saw some dazzlingly red Poison Ivy and Oak climbing up some trees. Couldn't stop to take pictures though, YET, but I will.

Did you get any kind of response from your email to Steve....
regarding the blue nest screen?

Costume Lady said...

Guest singers on AGT STUNK! Of course, Susan Boyle was wonderful.
I was glad to see Kevin Skinner win. He wasn't the best talent, but he sure needed the money more than any others. Now he won't have to pick chickens anymore!:)
Barbara Padilla was beautiful and sung as pretty as she looked, but not made for Las Vegas. I'm sure some more dignified city than Las Vegas will make her a BIG STAR!

Hey, where is everyone today? Ohhh, everyone's got the BLUES;)

magpie said...

This computer is whacked! Last night I could hear noise at the Burrowing owls cam, now, nothing but silence.

and I always wondered what happened to the Osprey cam there, and the Herons...maybe someone can enlighten me some day about it.

Costume Lady said...

Sorry Lynn and Lolly, didn't mean to blatently disagree with your choice for winner of AGT. If I had read your comments before I posted, I would just have said nothing:(

Good evening, everyone.

I must have missed something -- why is America stuuuupid?

Lolly, don't go too far out unless you want to drift around my way and visit along the Potomac -- I can offer bacon pasta and G&Ts.

We sure could serve as the world's best example of how sweet it is to form a "family" of lovely, caring, supportive family.

Tomorrow is another day and I dread talking about the brain and endocrine system. Got through neurons, sort of. In my other class, will finish up theories of criminal behavior and be able to move on to serial killers next week -- students love serial killers!

So, my family of friends, I am turning off my light but leaving the night light on for others. Until tomorrow.

Wanda, agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and didn't mean to imply tht YOU were stupid!!! Kevin and The Texas Tenors were my 2nd place picks. Barbara belongs at the Met, for sure!!!! Just feel that Kevin needs some voice training so he can project a bit!

Prayers for all. G'night.

I predict all of them will be big stars in their fields of music. I would buy their music now, and they haven't really begun yet.

I'm wondering about BWO, I haven't seen Braveheart today myself, but I haven't seen any eagles on the nest either. Maybe she or her Papa are still in the area yet. It's so much later than usual, I wouldn't be very surprised if she has flown south though. C(°Ù¿°)D

Can't sleep. Got up and sent in a plan for a sub for today--(it is now Thursday).

Judie, we have had a couple of infamous serial killers in this area in recent years that caused us anxiety. The D.C. snipers injured one and killed another in areas that my family and I frequent. Susan passed by Spotsylvania Mall at just about the time they were there. She was leaving her workplace across the street.

One of Evonitz's victims lived very near Kathryn's present home, and he was stalking the child of a friend of mine in Culpeper. They are interesting, but, at the time, they were very scary.

Lolly, I envy your beach time. Wish I could just forget everything and go join you!

Lolly, from what I am seeing, Norma needs two mommas. I expect she is a handful.

I will try to read more messages later. Going to try to sleep now that I do not have to stress about going to work.

It is nice to be able to request a sub and send in plans on the computer in the middle of the night.

Good Morning, Everyone!
It was about 10:20 when I got home last night, so I just watched some mindless TV and crashed. I have some really, REALLY good news, though! Got 100% on last week's Pharmacology test!!!!! Thank the Lord!!!! And thank all of you for all your prayers!!!! Boy, that really made my day! Now to study today and tomorrow for the Friday night Anatomy exam! (As they say, no rest for the weary!) Studying the muscles this week, and there are SO MANY of them! Oh, well, one at a time...BTW, thanks, Norma, for the encouragement! Judie too!
Still no news about the case of the blues our cam is having? Bummer. Hope we hear something soon. Nice we have Diego to watch!
Lynn, go ahead and start another quarter collection! You just might get a pleasant surprise! Remember, Moses was 80 when he got his big assignment, and made it to 120!
Don't sell yourself short!
Margy, sorry it looks like the rain will postpone your hawk watch. Hope they plan it when you don't have to work!
Megan, glad you got some rain! Hope you get to take a nice panda nap today.
Was sorry to hear about Mary Travers--and this morning, Henry Gibson too! Well, with Patrick Swayze, that makes a threesome.

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Whatever Sharon, forgot where I heard that!! ROFLMBO!

Ms Bookworm said...

Shirley,
Hope you have a nice day today, and manage to get a panda nap, too.

Good morning, everyone.

Sharon, have you received your Train tickets, yet?

Margie, hoping for good weather at least for the hawk-watching. Would be a shame if it is postponed until tomorrow when you're working. Also hoping for rain for those who need it. Cool, overcast with some showers expected today. Just hope it holds off till I finish my classes -- hate going to class with wet hair.

Am wondering about Dana and Ed. Hope we get some positive news today.

Deb, enjoy your day off.

Shirley, enjoy your day off, also. Wish I could find the answer to serial killers -- could win a Nobel Prize for that.

Not happy about Mary Travers or Henry Gibson. Really liked Gibson, especially on Boston Legal.

Okay, I'm leavin' on a jet plane for class and taking a hammer with me and Puff the Magic Dragon is going to be my guest lecturer.

WE ARE FAMILY!

Spunky Osprey Chick though!

Just got a return call from Mr. Orsie...he confirms of course, no go today, fog on the Ridgeline at Jefferson County, can't see a thing.
Nice to get that call back....
Audubon Society sponsors watches and walks very often, need to get their newsletter and get on their website, most of the times I am working and lots of the times the local rag posts information on the DAY OF....but this one got a lot of advance notice

Congratulations Andrea! - I remember you said 680 muscles, I am paying attention!

And Hello to Everyone Else ☺

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Oh Judie, thank you so much for asking. I actually HAVE received those train tickets!

magpie said...

Now I have that feeling: YIKES ! WHAT DO I DO NOW ??
Have a thousand things on a list which I keep misplacing ☺ on purpose! Might just have to do housecleaning...not my favorite but is much-needed.
Mr. Orsie said Friday is a Wait and See also....

Okay, going to go back to reading magazines and procrastinate a little more....☺

Here's hoping for a Slow Day where desired and a Quickie where desired as well. My personal vote is for a Slow One...

Maybe we will see the juvie Northern Goshawk on the Finney nest like Suzanne did the other day

I don't really read magazines, I just look at pictures.

Hi Lolly....sounds like you are having a nice time. Well-deserved...

Judie and Margy,
Thanks! Boy, you could've knocked me over with an eagle feather! (Except we're not supposed to have those in our possession, are we? Maybe a turkey feather instead.)
Judie, I'm wondering about Dana & Ed, too. Sure hope no news is good news, and we hear from them soon!

Ms Bookworm said...

Lolly & Jack,
Wow, I'm so jealous of the wonderful time you guys are having at the beach! Wiggle your toes in the sand for me, OK?

Well, gang,
My stomach's growling at me, so guess I'd better get some breakfast. Coffee sounds good right about now, too. Will be back in a bit. Oooh--just remembered I taped Jay Leno 'cause I knew I'd be home late last night. Think I'll watch that with breakfast. BBIALW....

At least we can get our Eagle fix somewhere, since our cam is still not working.

We're seeing bald eagles on the platform. If they continue to hang out, it means our father osprey and chick have left for migration.

Although we'll miss them, it would be good to know Braveheart is finally headed for her southern wintering grounds.

Andrea- way to go on your test!

Deb - enjoy your day off...and You too, Margy!

Deb, enjoy your time out and about.
Have gotten a lot done already this morning....going to strip bed now, and dust.
BIL WILL be hungry when he gets here around midnight----and he eats like a horse. Going to fix Paula's Pizza Casserole, and some Texas toast. That should fill hiim up!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
Overcast and rainy at 60° here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown. I need the rain (as does everyone else) and need to stay indoors, lots of dusting and vacuuming to do in the shop. Rain keeps me on task. When it is so sunny and beautiful outside, it is really hard to stay indoors. THANK YOU JESUS! (like that, Jo?)
Got a bunch of adorable children's costumes yesterday that will need to be steamed and hung and priced. They are sooo cute, it will be a pleasure to get them ready for the racks:)
Capt. Eagle needs some Brunch, as do I. Turkey sausage sandwich with swiss cheese on rye and stewed tomatoes. BBL

Costume Lady said...

OH, MARGY, in the Birds N Blooms magazine, I read a receipe for suet that one lady said brought in a flock of Scarlet Tanagers! She is from WV...so, I will give that a try, when I have time. LOVE THOSE TANAGERS!

Back from one class and on my way to the next.

Shirley, I do hope you are just a bit tired and not sick. Take it easy and let George keep you company.

Bye for now.

Hello all,

I just woke up a little while ago and am having coffee. I am fine. Sometimes when I go out for the evening, I get so wound up that I can't relax and sleep, but a person has to go out for the evening sometimes.

Somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00 this morning, I decided to see if I remembered the password to Subfinder, and I did. I checked and see that I got a good sub, even though it wasn't the one I requested.

Insomnia strikes from time to time, and I decided some time ago that I would use my sick leave for the worst times. It happened once last year. Don't like to be so tired that it is dangerous for me to drive home.

Would really like to hear from Dana.

Andrea, congratulations on your good grade. I took a comparative anatomy class as an elective when I was in college, and it was a big mistake! I had a terrible time memorizing all of the names of the body parts. I admire you. What you are doing is hard work.

Lynn, I am so sorry about your family’s loss. Prayers for all of you.

Margy, I am trying to imagine your hair looking like that nest at Cape Coral. Doesn’t compute. You would have to defy gravity. I am sure you are looking beautiful. Kathryn has told Susan that the way to get faster reaction from the police is to sound hysterical. I tried to raise my children to stay calm. I don’t know? I do think Susan should definitely sound insistent if there is any more trouble, and should now explain that it is not the first time.

Judie, I would like to sit in your lecture hall and listen. From what goes on here, and from our meeting, I am sure you are very funny. Humor makes the learning easier.

Wanted to see Susan Boyle on AGT, but haven’t watched much TV recently. I am happy to hear she did well.

Wanda, some of my bridge playing friends play several times a week. Most of them are retired or don’t work. They are better players than I am. Just thinking--I’ll bet Andy would be a good bridge player with her good memory.

Would really like to know why our cam is still blue, or better yet would like to see the blue disappear.

I vote for a slow day, too. I do have a bunch of things to do. Furniture guy called a couple of days ago and said I cannot get the floral patterned pillows on the first sofa, so I need to pick something else. I don’t think building my house was this complicated.

Gee, I hope the copyright infringement problem can be solved without lawyers. They are danged expensive!

Norma can be a “handful” and still be loveable.

I am having my day off in good company, I see. Deb, Margy, and I all want a slow day today.

Jo, is Le the woman at Yale? I have been out of touch with the news the past few days. Know a body was found in the wall.

It is nice to sit here and watch my birds and squirrels today. I do need to go out and fill one of the feeders.

wvgal_dana said...

Good afternoon ALL in Eagleland.
Sorry haven't meant to worry anyone.
Sharon can't wait to see/hear TRAIN.
I can't wait to get/see through new
glasses!! Having removal of cataracts has made everything to BRIGHT and too much GLARE!!! I have even messed with the bright and contrast on the monitor. Even with sunglasses it is so hard on my eyes. Squinting all the time my muscles hurt. Yes Andrea there must be muscles around those
eyeballs lol (helping with new
studying coming up on muscles)
Not much TV, computer, reading paper; everything I'm getting behind on. Even in the house I just want dark..I stopped where I get my glasses at. I just love the one lady in there. She told me what I needed in the glasses to help all this. 29th please come for me fast but slow for others.

Ed's breathing is TERRIBLE..trying new medicine that finally came. Ordered 9/2 came 9/15...pills smell like "rotten eggs" he has to take 3 at one time. My poor baby. He doesn't go hardly anywhere. Can't do anything that doesn't make his breathing worse. Thank God and I mean that. He loves to read so the couch and reading then some tv.

wvgal_dana said...

Judie
Glad to hear surgery was success.
God is good...continue prayers here.

Andrea
100% on test..you go gal.

Deb and Margy
Enjoy you day.

NORMA
Who adopting you now..
you were ADOPTED IN 2006!!!!!!!!

Shirley
That was ashame about the hawks.
Was very enjoying to read your
comment about them. Yes please
take a panda nap for yourself.

Paula thanks,
If eagles are showing up at
BWO then Braveheart must be
on her trip.

Jim
Thanks for update on Catalina.

stronghunter said...

Good to hear from you Dana.

I think it was Margy who commented about the hawks.

I am still trying to distinguish which large bird it is that is see flying--hawk, young eagle, or maybe just a buzzard.

wvgal_dana said...

Shirley wasn't it you telling Jim about the pair that about 25 yrs. ago where around then they built an apartment complex?

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Ask and ye shall receive. Dana showed right up! Hello Dana, I can't wait to see/hear train and would love to reach out and touch! :) And yes, I do believe we are the proud owners of Normabyrd!

floralgirl said...

Well there you go, it's Dana. Hi Dana:) Please tell Ed that I said hello and we are all thinking about him,. SO sorry that he is having such a rough time. Keeping you both in my thoughts, hoping for the best:)
Back to work...

wvgal_dana said...

OK that was ANDREA...sorry Shirley my eyes still are not back to normal. I loved that story Andrea thank you.

wvgal_dana said...

Yep I'm not going to try to catch up on all the comments I've missed.

Sharon
Happy to know you are so excited. So I think you've given up the beach idea for TRAIN tee hee

Megan
Girl are you getting some rain. So you don't have to water. You raise such beautiful flowers.

YES WE DID ADOPT NORMABYRD in 2006 !!! She can't be adopted anymore...but we will share her. Right Sharon ??? lol

wvgal_dana said...

Megan
I've always told Ed you all pray and think of him always.

I did tell him the other day with these new pills that smell like "rotten eggs". If he goes outside the house to sit on porch (of course with his oxygen on) he can't well plainly fart outside. Why he said? I told him because we'll be fined for him polluting the air and environmental reasons tee hee

wvgal_dana said...

Ok off and on here must work on phone with Ed's new insurance starting Oct. 1st. I need to know what these idiots will pay on his oxygen and meds and such. grrrrrr

stronghunter said...

Better outside than inside, Dana.

Are you saying Ed is and "old fart"? I have plenty of the young ones in my classes.

stronghunter said...

Good luck with the insurance issues, Dana.

paula eagleholic said...

FYI -

Update from Steve - NCTC is aware that the cam is still down. They are having a technical problem with the router. They are working on it. Thanks for your patience!

stronghunter said...

Thanks for the information, Paula. Hope it gets fixed soon.

floralgirl said...

Thank you for that info...

paula eagleholic said...

Me too. Technical issues can be a real pain in the butt!

Mema Jo said...

I am so glad we heard from Dana.
Question: What type reading does Ed enjoy?

Wanda that Thank You was very appropriate!

Still is a good napping day... already had one!

stronghunter said...

It is a good napping day, Jo. I napped all morning and now I am sleepy again.

Mema Jo said...

Well you better take full advantage of your day off!

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Eagle Gang,
I meant to get back here sooner, but was interrupted by a panda nap! Thanks, Paula, Jo, Shirley, Deb, and Dana. Your prayers had a LOT to do with my test score! So thank YOU!
Deb, thanks for the GWO eagle alert. It was great to see those eagles!
Paula, thanks for letting us know about Steve's update on the blue screen. Agreed, techie issues can be a pain in the caboose! At least we know they're trying to fix it, so can be more patient about it.
Thanks to Steve for keeping us posted!
Thanks, Jim, for the Catalina update--much appreciated.
Dana, sorry to hear that Ed has been going over a rough patch! Hope and pray that he improves very soon! You guys are always in my prayers! BTW, Dana, praying for you too, about your light sensitive eyes. Hope for much rapid improvement of that situation. BTW, don't have my Anatomy notes with me right now, but promise I will let you know what some of the muscles of the eye are!

Ms Bookworm said...

Dana, your insurance situation is in my prayers, too! (Boy, don't get me started about insurance companies! I feel your pain!)
Jo, just heard more about the Le murder. They've arrested that guy who's a lab tech at the university. Sounds like his dna may have matched up with some or all of the evidence found at the crime scene. They said something about him having issues with what he called the "messiness" of her lab work. That's why they're calling it workplace violence. This whole case just makes me heartsick. Can't imagine how her fiance must be feeling! And her whole family!
Many prayers for that whole situation. My, what gets into people?!

Ms Bookworm said...

More news about the fires here in Calif.--Authorities are debating whether to prosecute the 13 yr. old who started the Morris fire near Azusa, the same day the Station fire started. The huge Station Fire is now 93% contained.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hey, you guys, Hubby just called, and asked me to make a couple of important phone calls. Will BBL...

Judie said...

Luv stewed tomatoes!

Jim, thanks for the Catalina update -- lovely pictures.

Margie, sorry the hawk-viewing was cancelled. Will there be another time when you don't have to work? Hope so!

Sharon, I think you need to double check -- are you SURE you have Train tickets?

Lolly, going out to eat do you think you want meatballs?

Shirley, you are welcome to visit my class anytime. I love to use "stories" of real life so students can relate -- humor and sex always gets their attention.

Shirley, on a separate note: please have Suzie keep a record of every event, date, time, place, text messages, telephone messaes, notes, gifts, picture of license plate, etc. Inclination is to get rid of them because they are scary and offensive but they provide evidence the police need to build a case for a restraining order or for court evidence. Have her document everything!

WOW finally know Dana is okay but sorry Ed has been having a difficult time. Prayers for you both. Just relieved to hear from you. Your eyes will get better. Just a bit more time is needed.

The Yale homicide -- seems there was a dispute about animal care. Very strict guidelines about that. Have known grad. students in the past who had words regarding care of the lab rats. Will turn on news to see if there is an update. Would be classified as workplace violence as the general category of crime.

Good grief, hadn't heard about a 13year old starting one of the CA fires. Hope someone decides to do a psyc. eval. as setting fires is a red flag for future serial killers.

Okay, now to watch some news and relax. Dinner tonight -- carry in chinese.

Later

Mema Jo said...

Judie - Sure can learn a lot from your comments... I really value your knowledge such as..setting fires is a red flag for future serial killers. You have also given Shirley so much good info.. I hope the Crazy Woman fades out of the picture soon.

Hi all! Jack and I had our few hours on the beach this morning and then after lunch went ship watching. Well....no ships today. We then went to the Marine Institute (Univ. of Texas). Saw a film on shore birds. I learned.....there are too many for me to learn. lol

Not eating out tonight....GA Tech is on TV. MUST see them play, Jack is a Rambling Wreck! Hamburgers tonight and eat out tomorrow.

Lolly said...

Laurel just called. It has continued to rain all week. Strange weather for Texas in Sept., or any month, for that matter. So happy to miss it! Two weeks of rain is not fun.

stronghunter said...

Good evening!

Lolly, keep enjoying your beach time. I hope the rain stays away from you.

Judie, thank you for the advice for Suzi. I read the last message to her right after you sent it. The phone messages are coming to her boyfriend on his cell phone, and he is saving them. He needed to provide the information to his employer already, because he is a supervisor at her work. He blocked calls from her cell phone, but she just started using other phones and blocking the numbers.

Suzi said that her boyfriend wanted to confront the woman when she showed up at the apartment, but Suzi thought it was too dangerous, and he listened to her.

Some messages have been verbal attacks on Suzi and, indirectly, on me. "You have no parents. Your parents are f***." Strange.

I do feel refreshed. It has been a good day. I have accomplished nothing.

deb said...

I am home, no White-faced Ibis, of course. We did get close to a Merlin. Lolly, I agree, shorebirds are hard!

hedgie said...

Hi, gang. Been home long enough to eat and finish up a few little touch-ups. Got stuck in the road for over 1/2 hr. due to a schoolbus wreck. No details----just looked like bus stopped to let off kids and a truck pulled out of a bar parking lot and hit the bus on left rear. No ambulances on scene so hope no one was injured.
Hope the cam news is good.
Dana, glad you're back, but sorry to hear of ongoing troubles. Hugs to you both.
