Good morning my wonderful friends of feathers and fur! Hope for a great day for us all! Tom is doing okay, still restless night, though.

PA Nana, Koo is on the nest right now, trying to get a grip on a fresh, Crappie-size fish. I didn't see if she brought it in herself, or if Dad did. I saw Dad bring her part of one yesterday, but if it weren't for her leg, she should be fishing on her own by now.

Maybe she learned. Everybody try to keep an eye on her and see if she's getting her own or not. OK?

Otherwise, I've got a head-and-chest thing and have been sleeping more than usual. Hope to kick it soon. I like extra sleep, but I hate to waste it on a disease.

+GOOD NIGHT/GOOD MORNING+

CATCH YOU ON THE SUNNY SIDE.

Costume Lady said...

Dana, you were up late and are now, up early. Are you getting enough rest? How's Ed doing?

Costume Lady said...

Norma, I'm impressed...you have been keeping up with your workouts like a trooper! Good Girl!

Costume Lady said...

Lynn, yes, it would have been a hoot if I had left the tomatoes on the wrong porch. But, there was no mistaking the "Meagan Flowers".

Jim sure hope your "disease" quickly.

Have a good day Deb.

Morning Norma and Wanda.

Wanda he has been doing OK mostly as long as he is on the couch. Reading or watching tv. Anything else his breathing is bad; even when he just walks to bathroom.

We are dealing ( :

Oh my have I been spoiled!! I have the outside birds chirping right in my computer room. Have I said I love the PA deer cam/w/sound? tee hee

wvgal_dana said...

I'm sure I am mistaken. It looked like Koo brought in a fish and parent took it. Koo then flew out. Surely I am wrong.

wvgal_dana said...

Koo just landed in nest. Does nice landings. ( :

Sending wishes for a great day to NCTC nesters, nestlings and whoever else is around . Dex and I are off for coffee and dog treats. Then we will take the chariot to the Marina I hope before it rains. The barn raising many of you took a peak at yesterday is the old fahioned wood and peg type. I am hoping to get a phone call in the next couple of days that they are about ready to add the cupolas...since it a bit of a drive now I have asked for a 2 hour heads up. Sure hoping they remember me and my number LOL. Enjoy your day.

Hello and good morning.

Judie, welcome to the Momsters!

Lolly, a submarine? You have the most interesting things. Secret doors, a subrmarine . . .

I see another trip is being planned--by submarine, this time.

Plans for the old blue van . . .
I haven't had any problem deciding what to do with the last two cars I had. They got totaled. Much better to retire them in a more gentle way.

I would like to put out a "Keep out Grackles" sign on my yard, but the grackles don't seem like very obedient critters.

Good to see that Deb has recovered.

Thanks for the report on Koo, Jim.

Yea, Norma! I don't need vitamins. I have Norma.

So happy to learn that Tom is better whether he rocked much or not.

Mits, looks like that hurricane is going to miss you. That would have not have been a good way to end the beach season.

So happy about Carolyn's new job! Congratulations to her.

I work 11:00-7:00 today, but need to go in a bit early and meet a friend for coffee. Must get all fancied up to meet students and parents at open house.

wvgal_dana said...

Glo so nice to see your comment. You and Dex have a wonderful day. I hope the rain holds off for the two of you.

Shirley -- yes Lolly does seem to have the most interesting items. She used the sub when she visited the eagles at Oklahoma. Hope you day is a good one.

stronghunter said...

Lynn, yes I am om Momster Mail. Mostly I read. I have put on a couple of things.

Someone on here was deciding about health insurance. I need to do the same thing. The plan I have at work has gotten horribly expensive, and the school board pays a smaller amount of it than for the less expensive plans.

I have Medicare now, so I am thinking that I probably don't need the most expensive plan. I have to check out the options here.

stronghunter said...

Still don't have the supplemental Medicare plan. What do you all know about that?

stronghunter said...

Off to get together my fancy duds for today.

Have a good day, Shirley....
I'm sure you will be the prettiest one there ! ☺

Judie -
Congratulations and Welcome Officially aboard. Now, if your astrological sign is Cancer..then we must have missed the royal opportunity to bombard you with Birthday Greetings !

Getting the day started... Good Morning Everyone !

magpie said...

Good old Eagle-eyed GeeGee - She knows Beauty when she sees it! And Good for me, 'cause I thoroughly enjoyed by TWO BLT's last night, I had the B and the L but was just waitin' on the T's .

Thanks again Wanda...
these apartments are very poorly marked, is the landlords' responsibility. I keep a blue light bulb in my outside lamp (a symbol of reverence for law enforcement, especially fallen officers) so if I have to call for 9-1-1 I can tell them to look for that at night, and flowers in the daytime !

magpie said...

I thought of another idea for the Old Blue Van: maybe a vo-tech school would take it on...seems that if kids could learn how to fix older vehicles, their parents could buy that kind first instead of all these fancy expensive cars!

magpie said...

Cool comment from Shirley about not needing vitamins, she has Norma ! I agree !

Best wishes for a great day for everyone on here...hope there are some special surprises in store.

and Prayers for PA Nana's friend George, and all other prayer needs here.

Good Thurs. AM to all.
Deb, hope you make it through the day okay...but you should rest more when you get home.
Jim, sorry to hear that you are feeling puny, too---no fun! Drink lots of fluids, rest and rest some more. Chicken soup good, too!
Shirley, Medicare supplements are really tricky things. I will send you an email with a little info.
Did see Koo make a lovely landing last night---not awkward at all.

magpie said...

crazy thing is, I had sound for both Osprey sites in Scotland...
but nothing anywhere else.
Still don't feel like fooling with it, yet.
As long as I don't lose my Video card I can handle this for awhile.

NEW THREAD !! It's Up !

PA Nana said...

Hi everyone! Blessings around. I can't seem to get caught up on the blog, but in the meantime I'm glad to hear the good news about Koo.

Haven't called our friend George yet. I can't seem to get the courage to be supportive at the moment. His wife, Sally, was my best friend when they lived here in town. He followed a job to Alabama and we only see them 2 times a year when they come to visit their hildren/grandchildren; though we do talk on the phone every couple of months.

Darn weather! It's so humid and one nasty storm passed, now we have a tornado warning for the county. Didn't someone want this weather? They can have it with my blessings. Geez, I'll never get caught up.
Take care and God bless!
