Good morning Andrea!

Ms Bookworm said...

Good Morning, Steve! Thanks for the new thread! Have a great Thursday!

Hi, Sharon, Deb, and Sissy!
I'm up early as usual, and was hoping the cam would be working, but guess not. :o{ Steve says they'll soon be doing an overhaul, though.

Ms Bookworm said...

I'm looking forward to not seeing that smudge over the nest--how about you gals?

Ms Bookworm said...

Come to think of it, won't it be nice just to be seeing the nest again? (And maybe an eagle or two or three?)LOL

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Yeah, I am definitely not tied to the smudge mark!

Ms Bookworm said...

Sissy and Sharon, is it today that Tom meets with a new doctor?

Ms Bookworm said...

I haven't been able to get Tom off my mind--prayers for some answers, and a complete healing for him!

Ms Bookworm said...

Hope Shirley has a good day back at school. Bet George will be feeling a bit lost without her! Guess he'll have to hold the fort till she gets home.

Ms Bookworm said...

Well, I'm gonna go get some breakfast and coffee, and I'll be back in a few minutes.

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
I'm glad that Steve has let us know that the cam repairs are pending, but am disappointed that I haven't heard ANYTHING from Chris, from Outdoor TV:( It's a good thing that I'm not paying the NCTC bills;)

Mits said...

Good morning everyone...

Mits said...

maybe Chris is on vacation, Wanda

Mema Jo said...

Good Morning All! Thanks Steve for the heads up on Cam maintenance - I've been wondering.
I sure appreciate Suzanne's email every morning of all the sites-helps me get started knowing what is going on. TURKEYS in the PA Woods now.

Mema Jo said...

I was glad to hear about Megan's trip to the zoo yesterday. I'll have to ask her if the reptile house fascinated her for any special reason - like all snakes behind glass!

Mema Jo said...

Have you worn out your CD yet, Sharon?
I need to see if I have ever heard Train - or if my age group missed him.

I hope you are doing well in Bedford!
Happy to see you on here today!
loL

Mits said...

think you would recognize some of their songs, Jo

Mema Jo said...

Oh Sharon How disrespectful of me!!
Just now playing Drops of Jupiter and I so remember that song. I guess I just don't pay attention to names!

Mema Jo said...

You're so right, Mits!

Mema Jo said...

lol Now I can put a song with that face!

Mits said...

I do the same thing, Jo, don't pay that much attention to the names

hedgie said...

Morning all!
Just watched the SD video that JIm posted---what a precious little butter stick!
Still need to watch the links you posted for the eagle release, Jo....can't overwhelm the Hughes airwaves!!!!! Will have to space them out.
Lovely morning here---dappled sunshine and cooler, low humidity.

Mits said...

Jo, I keep going to frodo cam, but no updates yet:(

this is finally on the Finney site.......

11.8.2009 Third chick's maiden flight

Mits said...

so guess it was not on the 9th like some people thought.

Mema Jo said...

How about that maiden flight - took about a week to update. I'm not sure what the forum said about seeing Koo take off. The first time was for about 2-3 minutes.

stronghunter said...

Good morning!

Getting settled in my new room. It is nice and big and hidden in a corner in the new part of the building. This is the time of year when everybody is jockeying for furniture and desks, so I am running around trying to get things set up.

Nice view of a mountain in the distance outside my window. Do not know which mountain. I know that I can see Old Rag from the road coming into the school.

Tried to get my e-mail this morning, but forgot we are not allowed to access Yahoo e-mail on this network.

It is so very nice to have a room. I get to decide how things are arranged for a change.

I see that Steve is waiting on the purchase order for the work on the nest. Hope that it is soon.

George barfed his breakfast all over my computer bag this morning. Guess he did not want me to leave. Fortunately, the computer was not in the bag, so I just took it to the sink and washed it off. I am using my lovely Momster bag this morning, and it is just delightful.

Daughter Suzi phoned me from Hawaii last night. It was a long flight, and she said it was raining there. I have to check the weather again. There was a hurricane headed that way last week, but it was supposed to be gone by now, I think. She said she was seeing palm trees and rain. Oh, to see palm trees . . .

Mema Jo said...

I disagree with the 11th.....
I think there are photos to prove an earlier date!
Well I am just grateful that Koo is flying! Like Jim mentioned - Koo can probably catch with one good set of talons but not sure about feeding herself.

Mema Jo said...

WOW SHIRLEY
I thought you were playing hooky when I saw your comment.

Mema Jo said...

Andrea said she bet George was pouting!
I didn't think he would go that far!

Mema Jo said...

It is Koo in the nest with her sibling.

Mits said...

hoddies are pestering the o's at Finland nest.

stronghunter said...

Hah, just snagged myself a desk phone! I do not know why anyone would think teachers would want a wall phone instead of a desk phone. Not fun to run across the room to answer the phone and then have to run back to your desk to check records, etc.

Was walking down the hall and a desk phone was sitting in the hall. Teacher in room was getting rid of it. No receiver on it, but took the one from wall phone and hooked it up. Got dial tone. Perfect!

It is unbelievable what happens if you try to get a new phone through the office, and they once told us we may not use cordless ones because they interfere with the computer network.

Setting up a new room requires foraging. I have a 50-foot phone cord at home, so now I can put my desk wherever I want! Yeah!

I still have no idea what my extension is. That will come in time.

Now to work on the syllabus . . . BBL

hedgie said...

Need to check out Train and their music....not familiar by names. One of the things I like about XM/Sirius on TV and in truck is that it gives name of song and artist, and on TV even name of album and date of release.

hedgie said...

I disagree with the 11th, too, for sure! Loretta has captures from either the 8th or 9th!!
Hey, Shirley......good that you are able to access while at work! George was a bad boy! When my youngest moved out on her own, my SharPei Shang did it almost daily---in my bedroom---for a week. Guess she was having empty nest syndrome!

hedgie said...

Didn't know that your daughter was going to Hawaii, Shirley! Sure she will love it---mine does!

time for the sloth bear demo at NZ

Lolly said...

Good morning! Took me a while to read the blog and facebook as well. Slept til 8:30 this morning! I was busy busy busy yesterday at Laurel's. Cleaned house, folded laundry, and swam twice, not to mention going up and down stairs at her house. Plum tuckered!!!!☺

Lolly said...

Have not eaten, just drinking coffee. Better go eat and then have an appointment to get beautiful. That is what you do at beauty shops, right?

Have swim party tonight and a covered dish supper. Of all the ladies there only three of us will swim. Oh, well.

BBL Have a great day. Shirley, glad everything is going well. Have a great school year!

hedgie said...

Okay...couldn't wait---watched the videos! Great, great, great. Dr. Clark is very informative. Shirley and Judie and Frank sure had a lucky experience!!

Mema Jo said...

Was watching the Sloth bear!

Also saw one of the young flamingos

Read this: Sam and Tioga are the Stars of the Bald Eagle Refuge

hedgie said...

Lolly, have you had time yet to try a capture using Chrissy's instruction?
Sounds like you had a lot of fun yesterday. Kids are like fish when they get started in the water early! Wish I knew how to swim...I just stay in the shallow end, and enjoy being in the water, regardless!
You don't need a salon to be beautiful!! You already are!

Hello Everybody! Slept late, just changed Hummers water and as I sat there one of the girls showed up right away & sipped for along time!
No camera, oh well.
This AM I got a reply to my reply to Tupuna Kovanen, the Finnish biologist, who so graciously wrote answers about our concern for Koo.Basically, he mentioned Koo flying and that he/she is doing well so far.And he agreed w/me that because the public can watch them, we become very attached like they are our pets. He said he has to keep at a distance more or less. Was very nice to write.

Mits said...

excellent advice on that person's part, Loretta:)

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Wanda, Mits, Jo, Lynn, Lolly, and Shirley! (Sharon & Sissy too?!)
Well, I've had breakfast, coffee and a quick panda nap, and now am rearin' to go. Have LOTS of studying to do today for a final exam in Medical Terminology tonight.
There are 350 medical terms and word roots on the test, and we're supposed to be able to get them 100% right. My mind is already weary from studying all week for this, but need to soldier on. Please pray that the Lord will help me out here! Tues. nite my classmate Cindy and I watched the last 4 videos so we wouldn't have to meet at school last night, and could study nonstop at home. Need to call the teacher soon and find out when to meet for the test tonight. He wants to have a one-on-one meeting with me, too.
Sure will be happy when today is over! No school at all for next week, then the week after that the fall semester starts.

floralgirl said...

Hello all:) Nice day out today, only 77° here right now.
Jo, I did my best to avoid all snakes at the zoo- even if they were behind glass. Hubby got great pleasure from calling me over to 'see something cool, you'll love this', and it was always a giant snake. I learned to ignore him after the first few times.
The carabou crane had a radio in it's enclosure playing classical music which we found interesting...

deb said...

Back to work, bbl tonight.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Deb,
Hope all is going well for you today!
Oh, Shirley, poor George! Sounds like his whole system is messed up--he must be in a dither over your sudden change of schedule...If you'd like to see palm trees, I'll try to get a picture of some for you today. Lots of them around here. Used to have 3 fan palms about 30 feet high in our backyard, but they were so messy we had them taken out. Both next-door neighbors have pools!

Mits said...

Braveheart is getting really big at BWO

hedgie said...

Heading out for sock sale and other errands. BBL!

Ms Bookworm said...

Lynn, I watched Jim's video of the panda cub, too. I never saw a butter stick look so good! I've always been amazed at how much noise can come from such a tiny little body. But when you think about it, Mom is SO much bigger, the little one needs to be sure she doesn't sit on him!

hedgie said...

P.S. Wonder if Margy is having Verizon problems??? Unusual for her not to have signed in last night or this am...

Ms Bookworm said...

Lolly, excellent job done as a swimming instructor! You have every right to be proud! Awesome!

++good thursday morning++

++to you all in eagleland++

My live feed is a blank this a.m. ... guess it's connected to what Steve commented on the opening of this thread.

there are updates and new happenings at Loch Garten and new reports at Catalina.

i'm still kinda sleepy. the new next- door neighbor had a new apt. party from about 2:30-to 5:30 this a.m. -- too loud for my old ears, but not so bad when i think back to when i was their age.

have a great day.

Ms Bookworm said...

That is strange that Margy isn't here yet, but I've been having major problems with my 'puter lately, too. Every morning it does a 'crash dump', then have to do 'system restore' and 'startup repair' to be able to get here. What a pain--it's surely some kind of software conflict.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Jim,
Did you get your new computer all straightened out yet?

movin said...

New readings on the migrating Loch Garten eyass this A.M.

Jim

movin said...

Good morning, Book.

Actually, although I'm thinking of getting a new puter...the prices are right because of the big recession ...and my machine is almost 5 years old.

But I just had to replace a crashed hard disk, so there's no telling how much longer the old Dell might last.

It's almost the same thing as getting a new one, you're right, Andrea. You have to load everything from the start.

I'm about half way, I estimate, but it's far enough along that it looks familiar, and I can do the basic functions easily on a daily basis .. still a lot of software to reload.

How are you people doing this week??

Glad you're good to go, Jim. I have a new security program on mine, and it keeps fighting it out with the built in Windows security.

You youngsters may not remember him and his wife but:
Guitar legend, musical innovator Les Paul dies at 94
Les Paul, the guitarist and inventor who changed the course of music with the electric guitar and multitrack recording and had a string of hits, many with wife Mary Ford, died Thursday. He was 94.

I remember him and his wife, thought he had died long time ago.

Mema Jo said...

This is priceless

World is waiting for the sunrise

Mema Jo said...

Mits - Mary Ford died in 1977
Maybe that is what we remembered

Mits said...

boy, that brings back memories, Jo, my Dad loved them....yeah, know she died ages ago, just did not think he would still be livng this long

Mema Jo said...

I never realized it but I think there is 'sound' on the PA Woods Cam...
Unless there is a large truck out front!
Turkeys are there with another varmint- could be the ground hog.
Sounds more like an aircraft...

Mema Jo said...

My dad played the guitar and that is how I got to know about Les Paul's music. 78 rpm. Sure brings back memories.

Mits said...

yes Jo, audio came with the live stream when it went on

Mits said...

I always pictured it as a remote area, but with all the traffic sounds I hear, guess not so much

movin said...

I don't know how young you people are, but I remember that pair and that very innovative style and that string of hits very, very well.

Love it, even today.

I think Les was in a bad accident, the effects of which were instrumental in his development of his style of guitar playing.

movin said...

I think they were the first to "build" a recording using several "takes" superimposed on each other.

May not be describing it correctly, but they used multiple recordings to create the final version; and there's a kind of different harmony created with several versions of Mary's voice singing at the same time.

It was all new stuff in the early 50's. Also I think the use of high qual tape (3M) and High qual tape recorders (Ampex) was new also. (Bing Crosby invested a bunch of his money in the tape process and used it to prerecord his radio shows right from the beginning of the tape recording technology).

Not nearly as painful and debilitating as the old time surgery! Either way, he will be just fine.

Dear Friends, In case you're interested, I copied my reply I sent to the Finnish Biologists original response to us & then his new reply----Sent to E_M yahoo.
He also mentions that he saw Koo fly on TU, 8-11. That must have been the 2-3 hr. flight. Forum people saw him lift off & disappear for 1-2 minutes on Sunday, 8-9. Guess that's not long enough to count.

NatureNut said...

Sharon, Just read about Tom's gallbladder! Most of us armchair Doctors diagnosed that!!!LOL He shoulda had it out ASAP---Thoughts & prayers for good surgery & quick recovery.
When I got home-had laparascopy-was dragging bag of mulch in backyard. Next Dr. appt, they wanted to know why whole belly was bruised. (Thought that was normal)

Home from the school house and technology training. Know Shirley is happy with her room assignment. Can just picture her with her extension cord, etc. making her own nestorations. Wonder if Frank throws up when I leave for school? Nah! Probably happy to have some alone guy time!

I remember Les Paul and Mary Ford. I, too, thought he had gone to guitar heavan many, many years ago.

Andrea, prayers for the test. You'll do a terrific job.

Need to look at Jim's post of the panda baby and keep my fingers crossed for Koo.

Hey Judie , Pack our prayers along with yours when you past the cemetery Friday ♥ and Thanks!

Good luck on exam tonight, Andrea!
Jim, you have a generous spirit!! Young apartment dwellers tend to NOT be very thoughtful!
Jo, I THINK I may still have my dad's 78 of Paul/Ford "Waiting for the Sunrise." Did they also do "Vaya Con Dios"? May have it, too. Wonder if they are worth any money?? Got $10 a few years ago for Elvis' 78 of "Love Me Tender", but that was a friends' offer....not sure what it would really have been worth!

hedgie said...

Jo, my dad was a player, too----guitar, piano, accordion, banjo....and couldn't read a note of music---played all by ear!!!

Mema Jo said...

That is coincidental Hedgie - My dad played all those instruments by 'ear' also. Also the ukulele!
I only did piano but grandkids seem to be very musical. Aaron plays great and never had a lesson!

I had to take piano lessons! Did not like to practice.

Mema Jo said...

I haven't checked ebay but I can imagine what prices the Michael Jackson albums are bringing!

I hope someday to play some kind of instrument. I would settle for harmonica! But would love to play banjo, my favorite! or Accordian.
I CAN Whistle though!
Maybe I will settle for playing the Spoons !

xo ☺

hedgie said...

Hey, Judie, throw my respects in, too, for when you pass Arlington tomorrow. Thanks.

Sissy, so glad that Tom is on the schedule sooner rather than later...but would have been better if it had been earlier! Prayers continue.

Friends. BF Ken is out of ICU, off of all machines, just a little O2 still. Our prayers worked again! TY all!

hedgie said...

Jo, I play piano, but that's all. Mom played piano and organ.
My sis is very accomplished at it and is currently learning the cello. I always wanted to play the harp, but they are too expensive for this pocketbook!! My girls both took piano lessons, and Carolyn played flute, piccolo and alto sax in school, and Christie did violin. Neither of them have kept at it--so disappointing.

magpie said...

My parents and a sister played violin, (that's how my parents met as teenagers in Brooklyn NY) - several played and still play piano....
I took piano lessons but there was a very yappy dog at the teacher's house that I was scared to death of, and never advanced very far :(

Good news about Ken, Lynn! Yay!

Time for me to leave this good company.

Prayers for Wellness, Comfort, Strength, Peace and Joy....and new opportunities for those that need them.

My Dad also played guitar...not really...just strummed it. Courted GeeGee by strumming. He taught Dustin how to strum. I don't know if he sang to her or not. I will have to ask her. Interesting question. These things need to be asked before it is too late. I have my Dad's guitar and Dustin asked if he could have it someday when he get his own house. Greetings everyone! Music .. ahh. My sister and I took acordian lessons for a few years. She quit and I continued for a short time and continued to play to my kids. It seemed to calm them down when things got rowdy and it calmed me too.

When daughter was in elem. school I traded the accordian for a flute for her. She practiced incessantly! I had to drag her to a meal. But it all paid off. She entered the USMC and played all acround the Pacific while strationed in Okinawa and taught at the military's music school in Va and retired at 37. She's now married to an Army drummer and her oldest son is in the Army Reserves and plays guitar. I now miss hearing that flute.

WASHINGTON - Authorities say more than two-dozen people, mostly children, are suffering from yellow jacket stings at Rock Creek Park.

D.C. fire department spokesman Pete Piringer says officials responded to the park's Nature Center on Glover Road in northwest Washington about noon Thursday. Piringer says eight girls were stung; two of them who were stung multiple times were transported to a hospital as a precaution.

Piringer says it appears the children disturbed an underground yellow jackets' nest while in the woods.

A few hours later, Piringer says crews arrived again at the center after a call of another 16 children, between ages 5 and 7, also stung by yellow jackets. He says paramedics are transporting those kids plus two adults as a precaution, but their injuries are not serious.

Oh, oh, Wanda---not that good---only play for myself and close family now! I've never been good at performing!

That is really neat, Diann. Know how proud you must be of them all!! Always thought those kinds of jobs in the military had to be the creme de la creme!!!

Lolly said...

Hi all! Well, I got beautiful today. LOL Thanks, Lynn, for your comment. Then I did some shopping. Had to get ready for Camp Hawkwood. Went to Michael's for craft ideas. I think we are going to have a busy week. Dinner is in the oven and I will be leaving shortly for my swim/dinner party. This is ladies from my church. My close friends for the last 30 or so years. We have fun! I have something yummy in the oven and will cut out a piece for Jack. It is Italian sausage with seasonings baked with mozz. cheese, eggs and cream. MMMmmmmmmmm!

Gotta run but wanted to say HI. Sooo glad Tom is going to get his gall bladder out! Prayer will be with him next week. Sissy, too!

Gotta run! Anxious to hear the report on the rest of Shirley's day.

As for music lesson....I refused piano lessons as a child. Stubborn! Laurel did the same! However, Michael took lessons and now plays and so does Ashley. Ashley has a baby grand, so Laurel got our piano. Joseph wants to learn but has refused lessons. Must run in the family!!!!

Joey, Laurel's husband, sings and plays the guitar. Elvie on the square is Saturday!!!! LOL

Lolly, dish sounds like a Strata recipe---love them!
Noticed the grand in the house pics! Wondered if it was for use or show---LOL!!!

Meatball ate her chicken and potatoes. Did NOT eat green beans. She said she ate some when she was a baby and they were disgusting! We sometimes have to say '3 more bites' in order to get her to finish. Pap helped her clean her plate this evening - She thought he was 'snitching' her food - she didn't realize he was helping her get away from the table....

Skins and Ravens play pre-season at 8!! Let the "season" begin!! GO SKINS! (sorry, Mits, Ceil and MM!!!)

hedgie said...

Mits, heard that report on the news....noticed last week a significant sawrm of them here in one area---did NOT mow that section....they nest in ground, so sure didn't want to disturb them!!!!

Good Meatball girl!!! Good Pap for helping!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD FOR YOU, ALEXIS! Chicken and potatoes are good for a growing MEATBALL:) Next time, Jo, tell her that green beans will put hair on her chest;) Tee Hee

Catonsville gs and sil are at the Raven's game! A friend had tickets. Our daughter called and said she was in the house all alone for the first time in a long time. She had forgotten what private time was!

Costume Lady said...

We had a yellow jacket nest in the ground near our garden...they almost got me, but I can run really fast when I want to!!
Got a can of wasp spray, which you can use about 6 ft. away and they haven't been back since.
Please have the utmost respect for those stinging varments...I don't think I have experienced anything so painful. My finger is still slightly swollen and purple:(
GeeGee said, "I'll bet that taught you to use a stick next time" :)

Quick visit.

Yes, Jo. A happy dance is an understatement. Left alone he works so very hard at sitting in the lounger watching old movies through his eye lids.

I will indeed think prayers from everyone for Paula and her family as I pass Arlington. I may not be physically near the location but will be within 10' of an entrance. Wish I could do a horn honk but that would be disrespectful and only Paula would understand it would be from her blog family.

Jo, Meatball has a nice Pap.

Lolly, enjoy the party and a G&T for me.

Please share your history and family stories with all who will listen -- or write them down -- or record them. Begged my mother to tell me about her family and my father's family. She never did and now I'll never know. Leaves a bit of a vacuum in one's life.

Wasn't much of a musician. Played drums for a few years then found my voice and sang with a Savoyard company for about 10 years. Fun and I always enjoyed Gilbert & Sullivan. I think that prepared me to be "on stage" with my adult wannabes.

Need to do some reading. Will be back later.

hedgie said...

Oh, gimme a break....Theissmann is calling the game.........he is so full of himself!

Costume Lady said...

I am so impressed with our talented ladies...we could form a band and call ourselves the Momster Musician Wannabes;) Piano, drums, accordian, flute, harmonica and Judie can be the lead singer. Oh, Lord have mercy!:):)

Costume Lady said...

No G&T for Lolly, partying with church group;)

Costume Lady said...

I should have tried to remove the nest from the grill with a stick, instead of my fingers. I should have known better.

hedgie said...

Guess how I do it, Wanda? I LIGHT THE GRILL and close the lid!!!

Ravens and Deadskins playing---is it gonna be Ho Hum?

just thought I would put this info up for those of you who are watching a giant panda cub for the 1st time.....

Growth and Development of Giant Panda Cubs: A Timeline

At birth
Just 1/900th of their mother's weight, a newborn panda is born pink, covered in sparse, short white hairs. It weighs three to five ounces, and is about seven inches long, including a proportionately long tail. Its eyes are shut tightly. It cries loudly and often.

Days old
The cub's limbs are weak—it will be several weeks before it can crawl. It continues to vocalize, to communicate its needs and strengthen the relationship with its mother. The cub spends its days sleeping and suckling often. At about a week old, black patches appear on the skin around the eyes, ears, shoulders, and legs. Black hair will grow in these areas in a couple of weeks. The mother frequently licks the cub to stimulate urination and defecation and to clean the cub.

One to two months old
After about a month, the cub resembles a miniature adult with a longer tail. It vocalizes less and less until it ceases crying and squealing by the time it is two months old. Its eyes open partway after 30 to 45 days and open fully a week or two later.

The mother may not leave to eat bamboo until her baby is three or four weeks old. By this time, the baby can better regulate its body temperature and does not require constant contact with its mother to stay warm. Mother has been staying busy providing the cub with high-fat milk. It may grow to ten times its birth weight in five to six weeks. At two months, it suckles three to four times a day.

Now, now Loretta.....never say die!!! I bleed burgundy and gold!!

Costume Lady said...

Thanks, Helen...we can all use that info for a reminder course.

Mits said...

I need the reminder myself, been so long since we have had a little one.

NatureNut said...

I am ROOTING!!!!!Hope they get a score!

Costume Lady said...

Lynn, that would have been the easiest way to get rid of the nest, but the grill had no gas...same thing happened when there was a snake in the other grill...no gas. Gene uses the one on the patio most of the time and keeps the gas filled on that one.

hedgie said...

Mits, nice of you to post that info! Good reminder for all of us.

hedgie said...

Wanda, if the grill had no gas, why did you open it?? LOL!!!

Good girl, Loretta! Rah-rah!

Mema Jo said...

I guess we all knew this was bound to happen we just didn't know who the dumb-butts would be to sign him on!!!!

Ex-Falcons quarterback Michael Vick inks a two-year deal with
the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN.com.

Michae Vick signed with the Eagles. :(

Great pics, Megan. Love the one showing the teeth.

And that was a loooong snake!

deb said...

Paula, that is a very nice memorial for everyone.

paula eagleholic said...

Guess the Skins fans will get a chance to boo him, at least. I would.

hedgie said...

Fans should boycott. What an insult to the MASCOT.

ceil said...

Megan love the red panda.
Is that Tai or Tian

Costume Lady said...

Gene said each team that plays him should have Pit Bulls on the field;)

ceil said...

What is wrong with the Eagles?

ceil said...

I agree Lynn. Pit bulls have more class then he does.

floralgirl said...

ALready sent in my complaint email to the Eagles. Always hated them anyway. It's a business and all about winning games. Guess the Eagles think the payoff will be worth the bad publicity.

ceil said...

Well I am calling it a night. Peaceful dreams.

Oh, my son brought home a small china cabinet that was in my Mom's bedroom. It is old but in pretty good shape. I thought it was a bookcase that went with her bedroom set, till I found the glass doors in her closet. And when I looked at it further, it has the grooves for the plates as well. I measured it and it fit perfectly in my kitchen, which is small. It must have been her first china cabinet. And what do you know, the color nearly matches as well. Now I have a place to put Mom's china. :)

hedgie said...

Love your keepsake, Paula.
G'night, Shirley! Behave, George!
I like Helens' idea---in the dawg-pound!!
