Good morning fine fowl friends! Lovely day, isn't it? Christie thanks you for birthday greetings. Good morning! Oh, it was nice to sleep in my home bed last night!
Got to see Hidey, though it was hard to make him out. Missed his visit this morning.
Stayed home from church to work on trailer. While we were gone, I was contacted and asked to babysit tonight and tomorrow. This is not a grandson, but another cute little 4 year old boy. So, I gotta get my work done early!
Shirley, the rind will surely attract bees/wasps. If it's a THICK rind (1"), you could send it to me---LOL! Need to make watermelon pickles this year...but thick rind (white meat) is so hard to find!
TV NEWS in honoring WALTER CRONKITE this am---are showing many-many KENNEDY CLIPS & PICS! Still feel a hurt in seeing them!!---he was shot 2 hrs after I brought my 3rd child home from hospital.....
I am having my regular bird visitory--titmice, cardinals, and Carolina wrens. I put the rind near the feeder, but won't leave it long if I see any bees.
My Aunt Ruth couldn't throw out a rind without putting it out for the birds first. I don't remember watching to see what came to the rinds.

Lynn, I wish I could send you my watermelon rinds, but I am afraid I would not be a very good source. I don't think any of my children eat watermelon for some strange reason. It was always a treat when we were growing up.
I was in college--on the way to my Shakespeare class--when my roommate told me Kennedy had been shot. When I came back, I learned he was dead. Couldn't focus much in class that day.

I'm not really crazy about watermelon, but do LOVE the pickles (my grandma's recipe). When I was a kid we had a big family picnic while we were visiting in Iowa...my uncle gave me the melon to carry to the table and he said "don't drop it!" I, too, was in college. Was in a lab when we got the news. One by one people dropped out and left. When I got back to my dorm room, I discovered my roomie had gone beserk! She, who was from Florida, was blaming all Texans. She was a real kook!!! Many of my friends had gone downtown (FT Worth) that day to see him.
Well, Jack is cranking up the lawn mower. Guess I best head out as well.
Have a great Sunday! It is good to be back....and no more trips planned for a while. LOL
Usually bring up the NCTC site separately. I can't get a new connection at all, but this one is still working. I wonder how long we'll be on before it all goes down.
I was invited to Charleston for our CENTENNIAL BALL--- WV 100th BIRTHDAY--black tie--KENNEDY to be speaker!!---I was too--too excited!---THERE WAS AN UPRISING IN THE SOUTH & he had to go there!!!----did meet BOBBY & TED!---(CURSES!--FOILED AGAIN)
I usually log on the the same site for the cam and to blog, and that is the one I can't bring up now, so I wouldn't be able to get on to blog, even. I guess there are other ways to get to the blog from what I have read before.
But, I am guessing that some people can't get on to blog right now.
LOLLY!--The whole world blamed TEXAS----I remember he was told not to go---Thanks for sharing that incident!!----REALLY--I AM SERIOUS!---always wondered with folks blaming TX---how hard that must have been for you all!!--certainly wasn't TX fault & there were so many 'crazies' out there at that time like your room-mate!!!
I tried to connect to NCTC for a view of the nest, but could not. I usually shrink the screen so I can bring up a view of the nest beside the bolgsite. I could not connect to the site again. I am afraid to log out of the blog now. Might not get back in.
Could not bring up NCTC nest or blog for about an hour. Just now able to get on.
Happy birthday, Lynn.
Yippee! Found the Delta nest and saw an adult bring food and the eaglet devoured it in short time. Didn't look like a fish so probably better not to know.
Kennedy -- was at work and was devastated -- just 18 and hadn't experienced much in the way of sudden tragic death. Wonder what it says that our generation has witnessed the assassination of one and attempted assassination of another president in our lifetime.
SHIRLEY---The OSPREY TOWERS DEB is helping clean---is near her home!!---She did this last year---& truly enjoyed doing it!---DEB is so COOL---WHAT A KNOWLEDGE OF EVERY PHASE OF NATURE---(not a good sentence--but you kids know what i mean)!!
Lolly, think I missed welcoming you home! Glad you had such a nice trip....hope you have pics of the sandcastles! Sounds like such fun. Babysit already??? You are so-o-o easy!
After the squirrel munched on the melon, it started up my feeder pole, but then decided to run off. I can see that he could have gone right on up. Guess he wanted to show me.
Shirley, Deb has worked with a rehab lady from Idaho who came to SD last year. She's definitely had some amazing wildlife experiences, but don't think I've heard anything about shelter work. Glo worked in a womens'/childrens' abuse shelter until she retired this past week.
I am looking at the Finney nest. Was confused for awhile because there is somthing behind one of the chicks with coloring like the chicks, but now I see the third chick at the front of the nest. I guess that is some leftover food over there. I hope so.
Lynn, happy birthday to youngest daughter and to you either early or belated!
Off for a nice lunch with former student -- Interpol type. Very interesting person. She and daughter have become good friends. Husband works for Metro and has been quite concerned about recent events.
Enjoy the afternoon. Lovely here with sunshine and light breeze.
The OSPREY MOM at the FINLAND NEST flew away & 2 sleeping CHICKS sat up straight---#3 gives me the 'EVIL EYE' & SHE & #2 continued watch the sky for MOM!--- MOM returns------now all is well with the CHICKS!---It is almost impossible to see the CHICKS when they are sleeping---blend in perfectly with the nest!!
Like Deb, I was in 5th grade as well when JFK was assasinated. Tough times, remember we got the day off from school on the day of the funeral. We also went to the cemetery at Christmas time to view the Eternal Flame, but the lines were so long, and the weather so very cold, we did not make it to the gravesite.
I was able to view Finland Water nest briefly while at my sister's. She has a MAC, and I don't - so here again, I can not view Finland Water :( Thanks you all, for keeping me updated on what is going on there. Sorry to read of "Yellow" at Peregrine Pa site, and the broken leg for one chick at Finney Land nest.
Well, Late Summer has arrived. I heard my first Cicada this morning. A beautiful sound, but it does mean that the end of the glorious summer is approaching, the seasons rolling around once more.
Norma My next train ride will most likely be on the Potomac Eagle in the fall...will call ahead and "warn" you. Of course, I will have the grandson with me, and probably his Dad as well. ☺
I still have not backtracked and read comments from Friday back to Monday...so it might be awhile before I can relate to what has been happenin' with everyone.
Time now to do a little more "re-entry." I got some great photos of different things but it will be a little while before I post any of them.
xo Thanks again Lynn for getting those Returning Travelers pictures of James and me ☺
TTFN - will check back in a little while.
Best wishes for Wonderful Things for all today. xoxo ☺ ♥
Lynn, thanks for the welcome home. Oh, yes, do have pictures of sandcastles!
Yes, I am easy...especially when someone really needs my help. This is the sister of my nephews wife. LOL Got that? A ugly divorce has just started for her. Do not know the details, but not surprised. Anyway, they are going to court early in the morning. I am the only one that both approve of keeping Gus. They are going early, thus he is spending the night. Poor little guy!
I am home from Market - Megan and her flowers were as lovely as always. Stopped at the Red Byrd for lunch. Norma - thought of you when I saw a youngster wearing a green shirt and the logo was "Hug a Tree"! The market was crowded - I got my flowers, new potatoes and peaches! They I went over to the Mellow Mood and got a smoothie (banana, strawberry and pineapple) I mellowed out with that!
Jo, how was the Red Byrd? Haven't been there in SO many years....had it changed hands at some point?? Hope nobody shot at your windshield!!! Lolly, get cooled off! Forgot to mention Fri. that Mary Margaret looks fantastic!! She has recuperated very well!
Jo, of course, windshield remark was aimed at S'town, not the Red Byrd! Don't know why blogger cop doesn't put things in the same paragraph arrangement they are typed!!
The winning name of the BWO chick is BRAVEHART. Winner is from Ontario Canada. She has watched the cam for years. Nice. Shows the cams do get watched all over the world.
That's a cool name! Wonder how many submissions they had??? Bunches, I bet! Going to have to make like Lolly, Wanda and Dana and go put some ice on my knee...don't know why, but it hurts like a son-of-a gun. And it's my good one!! Argh. BBL.
The Friends of Blackwater are proud to announce the following winner in our 2009 Chick-Naming Contest.
Winner:
Pam Myhill from Ontario, Canada with the name Braveheart. Pam tells us she is a long-time viewer of our cams, and we thank her for giving our chick such a fitting name.
We had many creative names this year that helped capture the tough personality of our survivor chick, and it was difficult to choose just one. We greatly appreciate everyone who entered.
Nice name. I heard from Lisa at BWE/BWO today. I read her commentary and she has a lot of Bob's pictures on the nest cam. I sent an e-mail and she sent a reply.
I like the name chosen for the BWO chick. Very appropriate for when I see him all alone on that large platform nest at night! I'm guessing that the adult is up above near the camera.
Well, it is time to really face reality now, work looms at midnight for a six-hour shift to start my work week. I wanted to say a few things about my trip. First, the train rides were really fun, uncomplicated, people were friendly, and seeing the countryside like that was amazing. Fun to go through the cities of Washington, Baltimore, Wilmington DE, Philadelphia, Trenton, Newark, New York City, and many Connecticut towns before crossing into Massachusetts. We were in Western Massachusetts in the small community of Cummington. Once there, the countryside was so beautiful, lots of tall trees (including many birches) and rolling hills, and pastures. My sister and her family, including husband, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren, were the most wonderful people to spend the week with. Birds were elusive though we heard some beautiful bird-songs, the wildflowers are bursting out all over, and the night-time was so quiet, no vehicles, no sirens, just absolute quiet. James was a perfect traveling companion, and this was the best kind of vacation to have. We did a lot of laughing! I missed everyone on here, and it's good to "see" and talk to everyone again. Now, time for sleep and I hope some good dreams. Peace, Love, and Prayers, and xoxo ♥
Our District Supervisor emailed the following to me minutes ago: "I saw one of my DC Dept of the Environment contacts at a meeting on Friday, and I told her all about the nesting bald eagles. She had not seen Judie's letter ... nor did she know that DC has nesting bald eagles, but she said that DC has a wildlife person and a list of critical habitat to be preserved. She will follow up with her people. I suggested that allowing the nest to be cut down would be a black eye to DC, but that saving the nesting eagles could result in some very good PR".
Just so difficult for me to comprehend that this person was oblivious to the DHS proposed plan and its potential adverse effect. Oh, well. Maybe this will be one more thorn in someone's side.
maybe they will give the job to Marion Barry to followup on this issue, Judie, might improve his image:) its all about the PR...I'm still amazed the local papers and TV stations are not picking up on it.
I haven't been on here for a few days. Hope nothing I need to know about has happned. Summer is very elusive this year. I did get the first tomatoes yesterday...hope there will be more later. These were already on the plants when I got them back in May. Not too many have set since then. Went birding yesterday looking for an avocet, but no luck. We did see some sandpipers and yellow legs though. And also an eagle on the wing. Busy week ahead--you all be good
Shirley, the Osprey tower is a hacking tower. 20 Osprey chicks are being collected in Idaho and will be flown to SD to be released. The chicks are kept in the tower until they are old enough to fly. They are released in groups of 5, so we can keep an eye on them while they learn to fly and most important--land.
It will be fun to see what Gabby looks like at a year old. Janie is bringing along another one year old Osprey that she had to winter, so Gabby will have a friend to fly with.
Hey, Jo...news just showed the Pope blessing folks with his left hand...no problem!! So guess it's not canon law that he use his right!!! Margy, snoozing I hope...but glad you made it back on beforehand! Hope your shift goes well tonight---hard to get back into the groove, but it is what it is, right? Sounds like your trip was a perfect getaway!
My Mom made watermelon rind pickles too. We found some when we were cleaning out the basement...brother said they were good! I never did care for them.
I thought it was raining there, Deb....good luck Paula...I dread that part of putting house on the market, but when hubby retires in a year, I don't want to be in a house as we get older....want the convenience of a condo somewhere, maybe Annapolis
Goodnight to all turning in....will leave the light on, too, for those left behind. Mits, safe trip tomorrow. Deb, hope headache is better. Margy, don't work too hard. Paula, your week started early---get a good nights' sleep! Peace and prayers. Goodnight, Hidey, wherever you are! (maybe with Mrs. Calabash! LOL)
Gus has been a very good little boy. Went down to bed like an angel. He has been here before, but never over night. Brave little guy! And, to think there is going to be an ugly custody battle.
Lynn, sorry about your knee. Hope the ice helped! Mine has been great this past month. Hiked up and down the mountains in Colorado and no problem at all! Knock on wood!
I am heading to bed. Just had to comfort Gus. He was crying and wanting his Mommy.
Prayers for little Gus. Prayers for his family, such as it is!

Just checked the OK cam. A message said the wide angle camera has been sent for repairs but that all three eagles are reported to be still in the area.
Good Morning Eagle Friends Had to come in the back way via the live cam to get to the blog, cannot open up the still cam this morning. Lots of deer activity at Pix Pa, both at the regular site and one of the salt licks.
I'm headed for the pillows already, worked overnight and back tonight for 12 at 6 pm.
Lolly God Bless you for your help with little Gus. I have kind of been there and done some of that. How very much these little children in these situations need at a time like this.
Best wishes for a Good Day for All See you later. xoxo ☺ ♥
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... 58° and cloudy here. Awakkened by a really noisy bluejay...don't like bluejays! Rest well, Margy:) Little Gus is lucky to have Lolly in his life. I have had a few "Gus's" in my life, and they need so much TLC.

Have a Great Sunday!
Hidey just floated into the nest!
Looks like Hidey is searching the nest for nestovers...
I think he found one under the cam.
He moved a couple of sticks, played with a feather, scratched his head, looked around, then took off from the 10 spot.
How neat that Hidey spent the night last night!
On the way home last night, met up with older son, DIL and Brensin...Cohen is at the beach w/ other grandparents...went to dinner at TGI Fridays...then came home and talked w/ college kid till midnight...really nice evening...

What a treat to see Hidey last night. Missed this morning's visit.

Beautiful day.

DELTA NEST
Good morning. It is going to warm up into the 80's today. It sounds like the cool weather has reached Megan's house.
Sorry to hear you say that you're getting ready to go to work, Paula.
Great day to work in the yard.
BWO update...
07/19/09:
We've posted an update to our Osprey Cam Web Log, which talks about what we can expect when our chick takes its first flight.
Also, we're waiting to hear from our Chick-Naming Contest winner.

your welcome, Judie:)
Okay, found the Delta nest. Now, another example of my inexperience. I heard what I think was car traffic but also heard what I thought sounded like rustling leaves popping sounds as in gun shots. Does anyone know what I heard?
Judie
There is a road nearby, Judie. I always hear cars there.
was not watching it, Judie?
MORNIN' SHIRLEY---How is GEORGE this lovely summer am?---ho!
George is just fine and dandy. As usual, he sat beside my ear and purred loudly until I got up and fed him.
I found a picture of another view of the Delta nest once, and there were cars parked nearby. . . looked like a parking lot. In the background, there was what looked to be a highway.
A question. I had an aunt who always put out her watermelon rinds for the birds. Have you ever tried that?
I thought I would give it a try. I have a feeling I'll attract bees, though.
Good morning fine fowl friends!

I think she put the seeds in the rind. I just ate a seedless melon, so I don't have seeds for the birds.
I bought one of those really small melons. I can't eat a big one.
Good morning! Oh, it was nice to sleep in my home bed last night!

LOL
I can't get the nest open either
PAULA.....love your avatar!!!!!
Usually bring up the NCTC site separately. I can't get a new connection at all, but this one is still working. I wonder how long we'll be on before it all goes down.
I'm watching the Delta eaglet eat food that was recently delivered, but I have had that site up for awhile.
No problem with the Finland site.
I mean the Finney site.
The Live nest cam comes through Outdoor TV and the still cam comes from NCTC. The entire Outdoor TV site is down, the still cam is working right now.
I am off to clean the Osprey tower. BBL
I usually log on the the same site for the cam and to blog, and that is the one I can't bring up now, so I wouldn't be able to get on to blog, even. I guess there are other ways to get to the blog from what I have read before.
But, I am guessing that some people can't get on to blog right now.
Deb, what osprey tower?
LOLLY!--The whole world blamed TEXAS----I remember he was told not to go---Thanks for sharing that incident!!----REALLY--I AM SERIOUS!---always wondered with folks blaming TX---how hard that must have been for you all!!--certainly wasn't TX fault & there were so many 'crazies' out there at that time like your room-mate!!!
have a good time Deb....
DEB!---ENJOY YOU DAY!---KNOW YOU WILL!!
Shirley, what do mean "make a new connection"? I'm confused!
Not really a baby, Norma....I turned 60 this May!!!!
I tried to connect to NCTC for a view of the nest, but could not. I usually shrink the screen so I can bring up a view of the nest beside the bolgsite. I could not connect to the site again. I am afraid to log out of the blog now. Might not get back in.
SHIRLEY---I think I just skipped the first place (to check)---went to the site below nest & checked--that worked for me!!
No problem here getting live cam up through NCTC page. Will check blog site in a new tab to see if it's still ok.
whoever has the guys email address at out door might want to drop him a line
Interesting. . . I have the still image up.
coming thru the blog home page is fine, it is when I go to my fav address for the site that it is not working
Everything fine there, too.
Blog and cams
Lynn you have mail
SHIRLEY--follow HEDGIE'S instructions----SHE KNOWS BEST!!
Try that, Shirley. Everything seems fine here.
Deb said NCTC is fine, that there ia a problem with My Outdoor TV. I am sure that's what I have in my favorites, so what she says makes sense.
HEDGIE----I can tell you---I was old enough to vote---barely---ho!
everthing is back to normal at outdoor.
can access it from my fav list again
I accidentally logged off and did manage to get back on.
Tried going to myoutdoortv.com, too and it's working fine!
Shirley, maybe try rebooting your puter!
Squirrel found the watermelon rind and is munching on it.
Checking in.
On to something more upbeat.
Judie
SHIRLEY---The OSPREY TOWERS DEB is helping clean---is near her home!!---She did this last year---& truly enjoyed doing it!---DEB is so COOL---WHAT A KNOWLEDGE OF EVERY PHASE OF NATURE---(not a good sentence--but you kids know what i mean)!!
Chicks are alone in Finland water nest. Mom standing guard at Finney, with her ruffled hairdo!
Lolly, think I missed welcoming you home! Glad you had such a nice trip....hope you have pics of the sandcastles! Sounds like such fun.
Babysit already??? You are so-o-o easy!
Deb had mentioned the osprey before, and I was wondering. She seems so talented in so many areas. She works--or worked--at a shelter, too?
Not my birthday, Judie....my youngest daughters' is today. Thanks for HER!!
After the squirrel munched on the melon, it started up my feeder pole, but then decided to run off. I can see that he could have gone right on up. Guess he wanted to show me.
AAW!--SHIRLEY---that 'wee' squirrel has you around his little paw! ho!---WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!
Knew you would enjoy that, Norma!
Shirley, Deb has worked with a rehab lady from Idaho who came to SD last year. She's definitely had some amazing wildlife experiences, but don't think I've heard anything about shelter work. Glo worked in a womens'/childrens' abuse shelter until she retired this past week.
Okay, I guess it was Glo. I am still trying to get everyone straight.
I am looking at the Finney nest. Was confused for awhile because there is somthing behind one of the chicks with coloring like the chicks, but now I see the third chick at the front of the nest. I guess that is some leftover food over there. I hope so.
You will, Shirley! Don't fret...it takes us all awhile!
Need to take advantage of today's good weather to do some outdoor work. BBL.
Thanks, Lynn. I am sure I will learn in time.
Judie
Whole fam damily was in Finland water nest for a minute. Great looking bunch!
The OSPREY MOM at the FINLAND NEST flew away & 2 sleeping CHICKS sat up straight---#3 gives me the 'EVIL EYE' & SHE & #2 continued watch the sky for MOM!---
MOM returns------now all is well with the CHICKS!---It is almost impossible to see the CHICKS when they are sleeping---blend in perfectly with the nest!!
GLO must be enjoying her retirement ---haven't seen her for a few days!!---She has TONS of beautiful photos!---Her site is a must see!!
Whew !
Re-entry is taking me forever! Re-entry into life as it was BEFORE Massachusetts trip, that is.
Good to see everyone, know that I have missed a few who are out and about right now
Happy Birthday to your Christie, Lynn
Like Deb, I was in 5th grade as well when JFK was assasinated. Tough times, remember we got the day off from school on the day of the funeral. We also went to the cemetery at Christmas time to view the Eternal Flame, but the lines were so long, and the weather so very cold, we did not make it to the gravesite.
I was able to view Finland Water nest briefly while at my sister's. She has a MAC, and I don't - so here again, I can not view Finland Water :(
Thanks you all, for keeping me updated on what is going on there.
Norma
My next train ride will most likely be on the Potomac Eagle in the fall...will call ahead and "warn" you.
Best wishes for Wonderful Things for all today.
xoxo ☺ ♥
Hi Margy. We missed you on Friday at lunch. BBL
Have finished the yard work, still doing laundry, and have piles of stuff to put away. Then will start on the trailer. Vacation over!!!!
Off to shower! Yard work is hot and messy!
BBL
I am home from Market - Megan and her flowers were as lovely as always. Stopped at the Red Byrd for lunch.
Norma - thought of you when I saw a youngster wearing a green shirt and the logo was "Hug a Tree"!
The market was crowded - I got my flowers, new potatoes and peaches!
They I went over to the Mellow Mood and got a smoothie (banana, strawberry and pineapple) I mellowed out with that!
I have walked Shepherdstown sidewalks too long - I need a rest..Need to put my feet up...
BBL

Nice. Shows the cams do get watched all over the world.
what a nice name.....congrats to the winner...
I sent an e-mail and she sent a reply.
she is the best:), Ceil
Checking in.
Braveheart -- what an appropriate name. Congratulations to the winner.
Seems each time I looked in on the Delta nest the eaglet had something to eat. Being taken good care of. Saw some wing activity, also.
Neither screech nor feather from Hidey today.
Judie
Margy, so glad you had a great week with James and family..
D.C. eagle update.
Judie
maybe they will give the job to Marion Barry to followup on this issue, Judie, might improve his image:) its all about the PR...I'm still amazed the local papers and TV stations are not picking up on it.
Afternoon all.
Busy week ahead--you all be good
not much happening here Granny...have a good week
I am home and caught up on comments and e-mail.
Shirley, the Osprey tower is a hacking tower. 20 Osprey chicks are being collected in Idaho and will be flown to SD to be released. The chicks are kept in the tower until they are old enough to fly. They are released in groups of 5, so we can keep an eye on them while they learn to fly and most important--land.
can't believe it is that time of year already, Deb
They are a week later this year because of a cool spring in Idaho. I was on vacation when they came last year.
Shirley, if you click on my name and then go to Magazine article, you can read some about last year's project.
It will be fun to see what Gabby looks like at a year old. Janie is bringing along another one year old Osprey that she had to winter, so Gabby will have a friend to fly with.
that will be fun to see him again....
Thank you Deb. I will do that.
I have been in and out, checking on the comments. Finished putting clear sealer on my front porch this afternoon.
Way to go, Judie!!!! Maybe something will finally pay off.
Just saw two baby chimney swifts. They are so tiny!
My Mom made watermelon rind pickles too. We found some when we were cleaning out the basement...brother said they were good! I never did care for them.
Margy, glad to have you back!
Can't comment on JFK, I was only 2 :)
Deb - can't believe it's Osprey time again! Can you get an update on Beauty from Jane?
Gotta go feed the dogs....BBL
I can tell you that the squirrels like watermelon. Didn't see any birds eating it, but the squirrels did.
I have never had watermelon rind pickles.
I will Paula, when I see her!
Shirley, they are spiced with cinnamon and clove.....yummy!!!
Just saw two bunnies playing chase! So cute. Young squirrels have also been playing hard today.
Two bunnies playing chase in my yard, too. And a bluebird perched on my feeder for a moment.
Hidey just landed on a branch
Just hear a peep and a clunck...
There's Hidey again...
wonder if there will be a late night meal coming in.
Hey Mits, how are ya? Are you heading back to the beach anytime soon? How's Annie feeling?
heading back tomorrow, Paula....she is doing great, thanks for asking:)
how did it go with the real estate person...., we have had 2 houses sell in our block recently..
Raccoon party at Pix Pa.
I got this morning's quick video visit complete...before 11 :):)
Sunday, Sunday
There is rain at the Grand Canyon.
Have a safe trip, Mits. Went pretty good with the real estate agents....interviewed 2, now have to pick one of them.
They both suggested putting it on the market in September, so we really have a lot of work to do. Probably be down there every weekend now.
Nice visit video from this morning, Paula.
I thought it was raining there, Deb....good luck Paula...I dread that part of putting house on the market, but when hubby retires in a year, I don't want to be in a house as we get older....want the convenience of a condo somewhere, maybe Annapolis
good night everyone:)
I am off to watch Tv and relax. I have a headache, need to sit back and let the aspirin work.
Deb, I really enjoyed reading your magazine article. Now I understand a bit better what you do.
Thanks.
Goodnight everyone. Sleep well. Leaving night light on for Hidey, just in case.
Judie
Good Night All
I've been loafing around this evening
Not doing too much of anything
Prayers for all our needs
Pleasant dreams and peaceful sleep
((hugs)) ♥
JO, I have been loafing too...doing a bit of laundry and watching a movie.
Calabash! LOL)
Nice Video of this morning's Hidey Visit, Paula -thanks!
Good Luck with the real estate proceedings.
I hope the night is good one for all, with restful sleep and pleasant dreams.
I'll be awake and thinking good thoughts about everyone. "See You" sometime Monday.
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
Gus has been a very good little boy. Went down to bed like an angel. He has been here before, but never over night. Brave little guy! And, to think there is going to be an ugly custody battle.
Lynn, sorry about your knee. Hope the ice helped! Mine has been great this past month. Hiked up and down the mountains in Colorado and no problem at all! Knock on wood!
I am heading to bed. Just had to comfort Gus. He was crying and wanting his Mommy.
Prayers for little Gus. Prayers for his family, such as it is!
Sweet dreams!
Catch ya'll in the morning. I'll leave the nightlight on this time, so no one stubs and toes!
Hugs to all ♥

Good morning, Mits. Good morning anyone else out there.
Just checked the OK cam. A message said the wide angle camera has been sent for repairs but that all three eagles are reported to be still in the area.
Finney's nest chicks getting big, wonder which one has the broken leg.....Finland nest a lone sailboat in view....
Good Morning Eagle Friends
Had to come in the back way via the live cam to get to the blog, cannot open up the still cam this morning.
Best wishes for a Good Day for All
See you later.
xoxo ☺ ♥
Good morning, everyone.
rest good, Margy..
And now of course I don't see any deer but some blue jays at Pix Pa.
OUR nest looks beautiful, though empty :(
Thanks, Mits
Love that avatar Deb !

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
58° and cloudy here. Awakkened by a really noisy bluejay...don't like bluejays!
Rest well, Margy:)
Little Gus is lucky to have Lolly in his life. I have had a few "Gus's" in my life, and they need so much TLC.
