I have a storm station in case power goes off, with a radio, couple different kinds of plug ins, etc. I have lots of candles, flashlights, 2 lanterns. And should I lose power, I have my camping equipment I can cook with. I usually don't lose power, but you never know. I'll be fine whatever happens.

PH has an eaglet according to their blog, I haven't seen it yet. Both eagles in the nest now.
26 took over nest duties, 10 is off. Maybe he is out getting a fish for the little one.

Had a great day at Canton...First Monday trade days, acre and acres of kinds of things for sale. I bought some Croc sandals and a very unique plant stand. After I get it planted, I will take a picture of it to show you.

Good night everyone! I am tired so off to shower and to bed. I walked a lot today. Google Canton, TX Trade Days to see where I was shopping today. If you like to shop it is paradise. I am really not a big shopper, but going to Canton is fun every once in a while!

There finally is a sighting of a first chick at Pelican Harbor. And there are two or three videos on their site.
I saw its head and shoulders bobbing around several times on one of the videos. Others for some reason are not as clear.

It is a beautiful, sunny morning here, but the wind is still with us and it is a chilly 44°. The wind will continue, with gusts up to 50mph until 8pm tonight. Belle and Hidey are hanging in there:)
Today is the first day of the season for the Farmers Market in Shepherdstown. Not a very good day for the vendors with this wind. I didn't hear if Megan is going to be there or not. It is probably a little too early in the season for her.
Dana - the food item at 9ish is probably the rest of the squirrel. Check out the EM blog for videos.
Megan may be there in a couple of more weeks...
