Norfolk eagle has settled down into the nest! First egg last year was on Jan. 31.

Been to the dentist, to have an infected tooth seen to, bit dead in the frontal lobe of my face, but nothing unusual there !!!

Well now. We have 2 eagles at BWO, and mom is still on her egg. So guess that answers the question if they are the same 2 eagles going back and forth between nests. Seems the BWO eagles are not part of the BWE pair. At least at this moment.
The delightful PINK FLAMINGOS at the NZOO are ENJOYING the pool & all of those cute ducks are gathering around!!

A little history on the Osprey Nest at Cape Coral. They think the pair already had 1 egg and chick has already fledged.(we are watching to make sure) The pair does not have a name. When you look at the nest it doesn't look high off the ground. Actually it is as high up as the top of a telephone pole.

Good morning again everyone. Had to stop working to take the kid to school. Back and carefully watching the nests now.
Ok, posting and haven't read for a while.
Jo, both owls still in the hotel, and still having mutual grooming sessions. And did you see the burrowing owls? They can't get outta their nest on a bet! Way too much snow.
I have some pics I need to send to Lisa, and some to post to Momsters, but just haven't had time. Hopefully, I can do that tomorrow before folks start arriving!

Paula, thanks so much for that video, it was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! And I saw Mrs BW off the egg a few seconds ago. Still have one. If we don't get one more today, we may have an only child. WE'll have to get a wooden egg from Dr Sharpe to put in the nest when the chick gets older...remember Eggbert? His egg that never hatched? Let's hope we get a brother or sister for this one, though.

Ya know, Belle's third egg was laid 3-4 days after the second.....
There were 2 eggs in the nest when the cam came on in the morning...then 3 days later, the third egg...
So, there is a possibility we could still have an egg at BWE tomorrow if the second one doesn't appear today.....
