Have not been watching since eagle left, but there is no adult in Tesoro. Sure hope they haven't been gone that long a time. over half an hour! Do not see any little heads, but they appeared to be feeding this morning!

Norma, this morning they were switching between Tian and Tai on cam 2. One was eating bamboo (Tian), and Tai was pacing to get out.

Norma I only have one donkey it was my Dad's. When he passed away Mother gave me his elephant and donkey so they are both "old". When 911 happened I put a candle I had lite for 911 and the American flag between the elephant and donkey. It still all remains like that now.
DANA---Sounds like you have a beautiful keepsake from your DAD!!----That's how I began my collection----DADDY would bring them home to me too!!----

Norma, I took a pic and enlarged it. I think that is her sleeping in the tree. Look at the center of the pic, then look at 11...slowly. There is a black "bump" on one of the branches.

KARLA just called me and said she spoke with the friend of Nancy and they will be doing exploratory surgery to find out why she can't get rid of the fluid in her body. It doesn't look good. Pray for her and her family and surgeons.

If you could also add this baby to your prayer lists, there is another premature infant that needs your prayers. He is the grandson of Helen B, one of the IWS forum members. He was born at 15 ounces and continues to struggle as well. There is no blog for Baby Eli that I know of, so I will provide updates as they are posted by Helen.
This was the last update from Helen on Monday.
Eli update - He continues to grow and is now 15-1/2 in. long. Unfortunately, his lungs are not doing as well as Drs. had hoped. Just wish we knew what God's plans are for him, so we continue to visit him and talk to him, and pray for him.

I just listened to the weather and with the 2" from today and the winds some areas are having bad blowing snow. The schools that are closing bus kids in from farms and the roads will be drifted in. School here isn't closing, mostly town kids.

Baby Tessa is out of surgery and it went well. It is mind-boggling what that little fighter has been through.
I understand DEB---WV is a rural state----We have have lots of twisty two lane highways----also our mountain roads with any amount of snow of ice---makes it dangerous to drive school buses over them------

Hi, NORMA and DANA. You are right, Dana, I mostly do just watch - but I haven't even been doing much of that lately. Norma, I get so angry when I think about the wind turbines. I used to think that they were a good idea - until I started learning the details. The turbine companies get huge tax credits that result in taxes paying for 3/4 of the cost. Then they sell the electricity to power companies and also sell "Green Credits" to people who are concerned about the environment - which basically means they are selling the electricity twice. The thing that finally convinced me that they are a bad idea is the fact that all electric power companies routinely produce about 25% more electricity than they estimate they will need. If not used, that electricity is wasted. The miniscule amount of electricity that thousands of turbines will add to the electrical grid will be included in that 25%!!!!! How crazy is that? Hopefully, as people find out the facts, we will be able to stop them.

Dana - I appreciate your concern, but don't worry about me and the cold - I have a huge pile of firewood at my house - plus a dog and 3 cats to keep me warm. What we should all worry about is the state of our economy and the future of this country. Those things are on my mind a lot lately. I know when have a "rule" to not discuss politics, but I think this country has been grossly mismanaged by all those folks in Washington. I recently changed my political registration from Democrat to "no party affiliation" for that reason. That's all I'm gonna say.

I cant get to the blog so I dont know who is there and who isnt but Kent is down, BW is fuzzy, and California owls are geting frisky. It will rain here for another two weeks so its wet. I am going to Monterey this Sunday and Monday. I will wave to all who are watching on the cam of the bay and the rocks at 12:00 Monday eastern time so we can say our prayers together for Sharon. I'll be the one with the wet, frizzy, white hair.LOL.I am taking a girl friend for a birthday adventure. She thinks we are going to Oregon. Surprise! She has always wanted to go to the aquarium. A gal doesnt turn 60 every day...
