PH cam is working about half...literally, about half the feed is coming through...probably due to rain there all last week....they are hoping it will improve with some sunshine...

Freighter Runs Aground North Of Bay Bridge
Reporting
Mike Perry ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) ― A ship runs aground north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
It happened just before 5 p.m. Monday near Sandy Point State Park.
The MSC Japan, a 370 ton freighter, was apparently heading toward or from the Port of Baltimore when it ran aground.
The Coast Guard is on the scene.
There are no injuries reported, and officals say there is no danger of leakage.

Nilla yes Ed has a new baby boy great grandson named Cayden Alexander first and middle name. Glad Jasmine is doing great. Paula has a new grandson Bestin (hope I didn't spell his name wrong I'd really feel badly if I did).

It looks just a little windy, and with all the rain there could be water running nearby. I think they are close to the ocean, too.

They would have run into a lot of Polar Bears had it been a day sooner.
It happened in broad daylight but the reporter couldn't tell us if it was coming or going - MUST have been a HUGE SAND BAR or a JETTY.

I just went to light my candle for Sandy and there were only 10 candles lit--Jim has 4 of those. Mine had burned out, too.

Mits - At the Pelican Harbor nest, when they have sufficient rain, there is a waterfall near the nest that you probably heard. You can also hear the ocean.

Thought i check in as i cant sleep.. throats really bothering me sooo here i am at almost 3:30am... Our nest is errie looking with those lights shining on it... Lady B is asleep with her head tucked under her wing.. Calling for rain possibly some sleet.. I hope not.. Gona try and tuck my head under my wing n go to sleep too... Morning EARLY BIRDS...

Good morning, world. I see Nilla made it for a visit. Not so bad out tonight, 31° in PA, 38° here in VA! 38 already, who'da thunk at this time of year! But that's nice! Have to go open cams, and want to see if we have egg #2. If not, hopefully today, that's 4 days between eggs.

Grrrrr, I see blogger cop is awake and raring to go! Wouldn’t publish my comment, then published it twice, then I had to login again! Gonna be one of THOSE days.
Tai is really chowing down on that bamboo! He just went and got a huge bunch of it, dragged it back to his rock, now he's laying on his back leaning against the rock and eating away. 4:43, he should be snoozing!
Tai has been chowing down all this time, now he put the bamboo down and is gonna pace for a while.
Lady BW turned around, but wasn't watching, so don't know if we have egg #2 yet or just her first one.
Ok, our area is secure, so gonna settle down and eat the bamboo again. Had to make that perimeter security check. All is good in Tai panda land.
Well darn, there he goes. Tai grabbed a long piece of bamboo in his mouth and strolled off with it. OH, he's strolling the perimeter again! Too funny. Since he's dragging the bamboo, maybe he had to sweep the floor. Now he's taking it to the top of his rocks, and gonna sit down and munch on it. Just needed a little flavor from the floor, I guess. He's a riot!
Tai still eating bamboo, and taking it for walks occassionally. Our BWE cam is getting squiggly lines, darn. Not all the time, just sometimes. She still hasn't gotten up, so can't see her egg(s).

Tai has been up for hours eating bamboo. He's a hoot. Now he's gonna stroll again.
GOOD TUESDAY MORNING TO SUZANNE, NILLA, DAVE AND SHARON! I finally got just a minute to check in this morning to say "HI" and see if Lady B produced aother egg. She is sticking tight to the nest right now.
I have been monitoring a bus here at school on Fri., Mon., and now Today is my last day. :) So I come in at 6:15 to get my class ready for when I get back. I didn't have any time to get on yesterday morning, but I did have the cams up and was watching during the day. The children saw the BWE first egg and were excited.
Morning, Candy. Can't tell, she won't get up enough to let us see if she has another egg. Glad the kids got to see her first one, but that was exciting!
I have Pete's Pond on the other computer so we can catch some sites of animals there,too.
I see our nest is MT, but did notice when I got home last night, read the blog and watched,that they are staying longer and more often. :)

Eagles just watched a golf cart go by them on the road behind their nest. I'm surprised the humans don't bother them.
They've zoomed in on the eagles in Norfolk. Beautiful pair!
