Finally got home from church and breakfsst and came right in to catch up on the days activities so far.
Can't believe how many of you are on early this morning. I imagine once we get eggs we'll all be on around the clock. lol
Thanks to whomever gave the site to the Norfilk Cam. I have it up now and it is MT, but showing.
Glad to see that Mits made it to her condo in one piece, AND are seeing snow flurries! :) We didn't get much of the storm here; just rain. It had a little snow mixed in during the night, but didn't get cold enough. Now the temp is dropping and we have a wind chill of 24' and falling. Brrrrr.
HEY GENE AND WANDA, I'LL GLADLY HELP YOU GET THE EAGLE EXPRESS SUITED UP AND HEAD SOUTH FOR FLORIDA ABOUT NOW! :) I think I saw that suggestion on the blog earlier when I was catching up.
I am trying to watch the feeding at Tesoro, but it is so windy that you get dizzy watching it.
I am supposed to get 4-7" of snow starting this afternoon. We'll see. It seems the weathermen are wrong a lot.

That may be the first sighting of 2 heads. We have suspected 2, because of how they were feeding.

The wind really got bad at Tesoro, poor birds the nest was all over the place. I am glad to switch to Norfolk.
Hi All!!! After watching this site for two years I finally deceided to join the conversation. Just watched the Tesoro nest and caught just a glimpse of the top of a bobble-headed eaglette!!! Love those eagles!!!!
Well DEB I thought I saw two heads in two different places; one more to the left of the nest at the bottom of big branch and then one definitely over to the right a little. You know me tho, Kindergarten for almost 24 years makes me anxious to jump the gun a little. :)I have been thinking there are two by the way the feeding has gone too.

WELCOME ABOARD ELLIE I did the same thing; watched and read for two years before getting the courage to get on to talk, BUT you couldn't find another bunch of people as nice as they are on this blog. This is a closely knit and loving bunch of people even tho we are spread out all over.

Norfolk going to be great once the "ZOOMERS" take over!
I just moved into another suburb of Detroit, MI. There's a 7 mile long lake here in Belleville and my sister lives at the east end of it. We've been watching a pair of bald eagles there for over two years. What a thrill is is to see them up close with their young ones. Thanks for the welcome, but now that I'm here you probably won't be able to shut me up. :):)

Too much bobbing up and down for me too. They need to tell those eagles to build on a more sturdy tree or maybe that is the camera blowing back and forth.
NORMA I was hoping you would see two fuzzy heads, but the bobbing nest is hard to focus on.
REMEMBER CANDY!!----They did not want the EAGLES to build their nest there!!----They fixed another nest for them!!---BUT THESE EAGLES HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN!!----They came back to this old broken down nest!!

NORMA That SD site doesn't have very good images of our little Precious much anymore does it, or am I not getting on enough. It seems like when I can get on, they are showing another panda. It is hard to find her now when I look.

I have the woodpecker site on also. I get a big kick out of seeing that long tongue or whatever it is come out and go along the ridges for bugs.
It is 64 with wind advisories for Tesoro. No wonder it is bouncing all over the place.
Can't figure it out Deb I click on the Norfolk link and the old page comes up of WEC or whatever where it says they are working on it. What am I doing wrong??

Yes, I have Maine open. I just tried Norfolk and it is still down, but I watch it on Media Player. Maybe that is why you don't get it??

Right! How I watch Maine and how I watch Norfolk are different, though. I think everyone's set-up is a little different. I can't watch Tesoro, PH and Norfolk all at the same time. I can only watch one of those three, then have to switch to another.

Wanda remember you said one time about our eagle eating. You didn't think it was a meat in the nest because the eagle wasn't pulling it. Like what we see in Tesoro. Well that is because we are on the 30 second refresh. If we were on "live feed" as Tesoro is you would be seeing our eagle "pulling at what it eats".
