Good morning everyone. Early start to my day, I think I am cooking for 20 today but no its not Thanksgiving. Wanted to pop in quick here and then get some cams up on the laptop to take to the kitchen. Volunteer at work has had surgery so I get to be cook tonight and tomorrow night before the regular shift starts. Will be a busy quick day for sure.
Eagle viewing is getting exciting for sure. I hope CC! isn't down for good. Geesh work so hard to even try to see them while they are tiny and miss them as they flap grow and fledge, I surely hope not.
Belle is either calling for him. Or squawking at something.

Wanda, we are supposed to just get an inch or so today. It has quieted down some now.
They are just about ready, Dana. I was confirming that the three birds I saw yesterday were swans. I thought they were, but couldn't figure out why I was seeing them in January. Turns out they have been reintroduced and are doing well!!
Looks like they are working on the cams at BW.
BW cams are back up, both eagles on BWO, but very fuzzy pic on that cam.

Neat Deb about the swans. That is what Birdgirl does. She helps those birds, raptor, etc. when hurt/injured/abandoned and if she can relocates them. If can releases them back to wild.

When I first saw them, they were laying on the ice. They looked like 3 big white bumps on the lake. When I got out to see what the were, they stood up. They are huge!!

Did anyone see they were showing some of the Alaska eagles getting washed off after being rescued from the trash truck?
Norma, the donkeys cam is an hour ahead of us, and they usually all get up and mingle until breakfast. Breakfast is about 7ish our time. Then they're off exploring I guess for the rest of the day. There are still 2 there drinking water, and 1 in the background. Bring the cam up when you get up and you'll see lots of them.
Oops, 3 drinking water. Didn't see the one on the end.
OOps, sorry, Morning, Paula! I read the article, didn't see the washing. Is it on the Internet? They use Dawn to wash birds, it's more gentle.

I saw pictures of the wretched EAGLES!!----Not sure you want to see it----They do use DAWN---But the pics I saw were hard to view------TERRIBLE!
Norma, they had a mother polar bear at Nurenburg that had 2 babies, and she (ugh) ate them! So they took this little one away from Vera before Vera could do any harm to her...just in case. For the babies safety. They are not returning the baby to the mom. The mom is the one that harmed her babies, not any humans. Vera was dragging her baby around and before she could harm it, they took it away from her.
Norma, these are good pictures showing the cleaning of the eagles. At the end you get to see one that is all clean and will be released in the near future. You also get to listen to the eagle and hear interviews with the rescuers.
Moose cam is up, sun is starting to come up in Kent.

I have spoken to people at Cape Coral Florida about the CC I cam with George II and Gracie. They are aware that the cam has problems. They are working on it. Also check out their osprey webcam. They do have osprey at the nest ( :
They did get excited to know that people from across the US and other countries watch our cam. Knowing that people coming to our cam/blog go watch links we put up like theirs at Cape Coral.
They have 26 eagle nest at Cape Coral Florida. Only these two webcams for them though CC I and CC II.
That was nice of them, Norma! Nice they visited again at this hour, been a long time since I've seen them around noon!!! I'll definately have to give the kitties a treat for that treat the eagles gave me!

No, Norma, not Jill's. I went to a hearing for a customer who wrote me a bad check and scammed half of the people in Martinsburg. She didn't show up (this is the second time ) so they told us they were going to arrest her and she would stay in Jail until our next hearing. They said she would be in court the next time for sure....wearing an orang jumpsuit and handcuffs. LOL
No humidifier, Norma. I don't think I had the sinuses so much when I was a kid, and then I smoked for many years ... hard to tell what you have with those.
I've been off the smokes for 5 1/2 years now, and I am finding some things I never imagined I had ... but my sense of smell has come back and I think I'm generally better off.

wb Wanda sorry you had to go to court because of person scammed you. If no show glad they will arrest her for next hearing. Sorry that means you will probably have to go again. Then it will be how to get the money back. If she works no problems they attach wage.
Jim glad you gave up the cigs. I did in 1973 my husband did in 1989.
Dana, she has no job. She makes a living scamming people. Don't know how she has been able to get by with it for so long. I would be willing to forfeit the money she owes me, just to see her spend some time in jail. I don't ever expect to get it back.

Glad Gene and I gave up cigs. too.
About 35 years ago. My oldest daughter quit about 7 months ago, and still is having a terrible time. I am afraid she will start again if things don't get better.
