Well Liberty or Belle could spray painted the cam or put a cloth over it for X-RATED purposes. Waiting to see when they remove the cover lol those two can't keep it up all night. If not removed soon then we know something is definately wrong with the cam...
Nope its not working.. now Mits git nekkid gather up some pillows set in middle of living room and light candles n cross your legs and sing Ima Little Tea Pot ok that might work!!!
If not fws then Denver will have to fix it tomorrow because it runs through Denver. Steven said he would like to find someplace else to run it through but hasn't so far.
JO--Prayers for Ryan every night until he gets home. That makes me so sad. We just had a group of 18-or 19 year olds from our church deployed to Iraq. They spent their last Sunday at home in Church and as they stood being recognized by our minister, they all looked to be near tears (me too).
Bob, thanks for the link to Waterways. Loved the waterman stories. Reminds me of when my dad would take me to Tangier Island and they would sit around and tell fishing stories.
Prayers for Ryan,JO. Will have my cousin add him to her prayer list.
Wanda-were those guys from Berkeley County? Air Gaurd? HUMMMM. Guess I probably know a few of them.
Is there something going on in Denver? A storm maybe. Maybe something took out the satellite feed. Doesn't appear to be raining here at the moment but clouds were really thick when I came home.
Jill - If you order from the website (www.delmarvaphotos.com)I think it is just a few days if you just get the picture. It ships directly from the printer. If you want one matted then I have create to set up a special item on the site and the photo gets shipped to me and I do the matting and ship it to you so it could take 10-14 days. If the intent is to frame it you should just get the photo without the matt. Cheaper and quicker.
LATEST UPDATE FROM THE SAN DIEGO WILDLIFE PARK As of 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, the Wild Animal Park has sustained some fire and wind damage to some facilities, but the animals continue to be okay. Spot fires are still turning up and are being extinguished. A small core of employees are on hand to care for the animals while others are assisting with fire and wind damage. All the California condors remain safely at the fire-safe Paul Harter Veterinary Medical Center. However, one of the empty condor breeding facilities has been lost to fire. Again, the condors were already safely housed at the veterinary facility along with education animals. A storage facility containing Festival of Lights event materials was also burned. Winds have damaged trees throughout the Park, but again the animals and exhibits are weathering the storm.
They have also given an address for people who want to give a tax-free donation, and there are pictures on their site of giraffes and gazelles walking around outside among the smoke
I'm tired just from the dry winds and keeping track of the fire news, etc.
The winds are dying down a lot and changing direction slowly... normal is onshore from the SW. The humidity has risen from 8% this morning to 32% now.
So, the WORST OF THE FIRESTORM is over, although there will be a couple of days of high heat, which will make it difficult for the fire fighters.... More fire, more fire news, but the people fighting it should be able to get it under control now.
Good morning, world. Rainy out, some places not so bad, other places pouring! Not too chilly, though, 65° in PA, 67° here in VA, so not so bad. We have a nice pic on our cam, hope it stays that way if the kids decide to stop by and say hello. Bai is sleeping rolled up in a ball, can't see Squiggles, so I'm guessing she has her tucked in to her chest. F&F still in color, long shot of the ledge, and Dolly is sleeping up against the ledge, not the wall or corner for a change. Lisa updated the osprey website, interesting article on MSNBC. Bai just moved, on her side now, and Squiggles is being held in mom's paws. Too cute. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly! OH! I got my pics from Open House on CD last night, I will put them on the momsters site sometime today, soon as I have a chance.
There have been elephant groups with calves visiting the Pond at Pete's place. And many swallows hunting insects for their young...it's that time of year there.
I sent everybody a few shots of Dolly just before dark. Then she collapsed by the outside wall right where you see her now.
Good morning, Jim. Saw your email, haven't read any mail yet. That little Dolly has hardly moved, she must have been tired! Bai and Squiggles are little sleepy heads this morning too! come to think of it, I coulda stayed in bed a lot longer too! There goes a boat in Brisbane, how cool! Are you up for a sec, or going to get up for the day? OH another boat.
You know what? I must be seeing things! That white that I thought was a head must be leaves, cause it's not moving at all. But that WAS NOT there earlier! Maybe Lib or Belle dropped a small branch in the nest. Wierd.
Good morning Suzanne and Jim. Heading back to bed after 1 arrest and Russell the mouse dog, throwing a fit because a mouse was in the trap. With this rain I might just sleep all day. LOL. Sorry we can't send a little of it to CA Jim but we need it too.
As long as no other mice decide to join us for breakfast, it will be a quiet morning. LOL. Stupid dog thinks he's a cat. Which is good, I guess, just not a 3 in the morning.
Too funny! Guess it's that time of the year that the mice start looking to join the humans inside their warm dry houses! I have 5 cats, but Pharaoh was my mouser, so if I get one in the house, I'll probably be the one to catch it and put it out. Or down the toilet....
GOOD WEDNESDAY A.M., TO YOU ALL. Got up before 6:30, to make coffee and wait for eagles arrival, and I already missed them????? Suzanne, doesn't the mouse clog up your toilet???
Thanks, Jill! Not too sure how to train cats to catch mice! Morning, Mits. No, mice fit quite nicely in the toilet, and down they go! Had one get in a couple years ago, Pharaoh caught it and left it right where I'd see it (how nice of him), and I picked it up by the tail with a paper towel, and down it went! Gotta tell ya though, I was wondering what I was gonna do if it DIDN'T go down, but thank God, it went!
No eagles haven't been here yet, but see that white on the right of the pic? That was not there when I first brought up the cam, and one refresh it was. So I thought an eagle had popped in and that was the white head, but it's never moved, so I'm guessing they knocked a branch with leaves down into the nest.
I see that....last night right around the time they would visit, screen went completely black, and some people could not even access the site....don't know what it was really.
You have zoo today, don't you Mits? You'll have to cheer Tai up when you get there. Oh, he's on the move... Oh, guess he goes in there when he wants, huh? Cause he's out now.
Mai sure seems to be enjoying it! Didn't see it delivered, was on the phone...darn work! Looks like Tai is eating something too... Eagle still in BW, our kids AWOL.
awwwww. Sure would love to work the Asia Trail like you do, Mits! Unfortunately, have a habit that's really hard to break...called eating. So do my birds, and so do my cats. Darn critters, just want to eat every day, can't understand that!
GOOD MORNING SUZ, MITS & JILL AND HOPE JIM WENT BACK TO BED.
Suz, when I first turned on the puter, I,too, thought there was an eagle in our nest. When I refreshed and it didn't move, I realized it wasn't an eagle. I got up too late and missed the visit.
WANDA, I always have problems when I try to do something there, like an avatar....everyone says it is easy, but to this day can't do it, so not even going to attempt to put picture on, but I do love to go to the albums, Jo and Paula and everyone have done a great job.
Wanda, I'm putting one on there now. When you hit browse, it takes you to My Pictures. Use the folder with the arrow to move to your directory where the photos are stored. OR, use the arrow in the file name box to find your directory. I just added several, but they're not in the order I want, so will rearrange them later. And add more later.
Good Morning everyone. I am up and getting ready to take my dogs over for coffee and dog treats. Back on schedule in IL , with more memories of my trip to NCTC than anyone could have imagined. It was awesome. Thanks to all of you who who have created both on and offline such a place to enjoy one of natures most beautiful living creatures, and a place to gather and meet those who also love eagles and These eagles Liberty and Belle in particular While I was there I also said hello to Big Boy, Ms In Between and Spunk. Saw what I decided to call a group of immature eagles soaring, and well imagination took off from there so I talked to them LOL.
Wanda, just added my photos to the album. It was quicker than I thought! If you name the pic, you don't have to type any description or anything else. DUH, you guys probably already knew that! I just found that out...time saver for me! Pics are there, I'll put them in order by animals and raptors together, but not now, no time.
Morning, Glo! Glad to see you made it home safe and sound. Enjoyed meeting you! Maybe you can come this way again, either for the Christmas Party, or next year's Open House. Nice to visit, but sure is nice to get home again, isn't it? Bet doggies were happy you were home!!
Eagle back in BW, and Mits, check out the Smokeys, very cool pic! Mai and Tian are eating bamboo, Tai is hiding through the trees. Bai and Squiggles are sleeping. Sure hope those fires don't make it to San Diego!
Wanda, thanks for asking, all is well, Maggie at 14 months really doesn't pay that much attention to her, I think, haven't seen them in almost 2 weeks, so not to sure how she is reacting.
Woah, what's the deal, F&F is back in color! That's a first for this time of day! Guess Tai got bored with his red ring, gonna walk around for a while.
Well Suzanne That pretty much was my trip to NCTC, unless I have some rich uncle who dies and leaves me a fortune for travel and enables me to retire. Otherwise for me I use my vactaion time and travel money mostly to see my kids. I did need to see that nest and meet many of you too though so yes I did make the trip. Perhaps someday when I retire if the finances stay at all capable to do some traveling I will come again. Do you suppose we will all still be a watching this cam and these eagles and their young....oh my what a thought that is LOL. We can go to Lib and Belles tree, stop by to see Big Boy and family, swing on over to Ms. In Between, and then just sit there and absorb all the happenings at Spunky's place. Fun thoughts.
OK got to unpack and do some laundry today for sure. A few groceries are also in order.

There goes a boat in Brisbane, how cool!
Are you up for a sec, or going to get up for the day?
OH another boat.
Probably not up for too long, Suzanne.
Up to go to the boys' room, the puter was still on, so I've been watching some cams.
Probably will go back to bed pretty soon.
There are a mother Wart Hog with two young, a monkey and an Impala in the same frame at Pete's right now.
Was thinking I haven't seen the Croc for several days????????????
Jim
Now, another, larger group of Hogs, a whole troop of baboons and a large group of Impalas are at the Pond.
Jim
wow, sounds like Pete's Pond is busy!
I've been busy too, I'm not ignoring you! Trying to go through my pics from the Open House, so I can post them.
EAGLE ALERT, JUST ARRIVED!!!
EARLY BIRD
Good grief, very early today! About 15 minutes earlier every day. At this rate, by next week they'll be in the nest at 4 waiting for me!
Must have left soon too, Suz.
Jim
You know what? I must be seeing things! That white that I thought was a head must be leaves, cause it's not moving at all. But that WAS NOT there earlier! Maybe Lib or Belle dropped a small branch in the nest. Wierd.
I see what you mean, Suz. I don't believe I saw it earlier either.
Think I'm heading back to bed. Have a great day, Suzanne.
Jim
You too, Jim. Hope you get to sleep for a few more hours!
BRB...
Good morning Suzanne and Jim. Heading back to bed after 1 arrest and Russell the mouse dog, throwing a fit because a mouse was in the trap. With this rain I might just sleep all day. LOL. Sorry we can't send a little of it to CA Jim but we need it too.
Morning, Jill. Sounds like an exciting morning for you already! Hope you can get back to sleep, but rain will sure help with that!
As long as no other mice decide to join us for breakfast, it will be a quiet morning. LOL. Stupid dog thinks he's a cat. Which is good, I guess, just not a 3 in the morning.

I have 5 cats, but Pharaoh was my mouser, so if I get one in the house, I'll probably be the one to catch it and put it out. Or down the toilet....
I could send Russell up to help you. Course he would give the cats some excercise too. LOL
GOOD WEDNESDAY A.M., TO YOU ALL. Got up before 6:30, to make coffee and wait for eagles arrival, and I already missed them????? Suzanne, doesn't the mouse clog up your toilet???
Sqwigs is nursing....
Bai is sitting up watching Squiggles play and move around between her legs, that is so cute!
So ok, now that I said that, Bai is now covering Squiggles! Little toot must have heard me!!
I see that....last night right around the time they would visit, screen went completely black, and some people could not even access the site....don't know what it was really.
Suzanne, can you get the Maine nest????
Oh, hope that doesn't happen this morning! Just the squiggly lines are ever present! Whatever it was, had a good pic when I brought it up around 4.
They're running late this morning! They showed up yesterday at 6:04, way early...so today they're gonna be way late.
Eagle in BW!
Eagle has glowing eyes and no top of head. Well, that's certainly different!
Mits, they have Tai on Cam 2 in some kind of room...what is that?
that's a side den, off of their main room, a quiet room
Look at the way he's sitting on cam 2, and the way the panda is sitting on cam 1. Man, they are EXACTLY alike!
Uh oh, has he been bad? Or maybe he doesn't feel good?
You have zoo today, don't you Mits? You'll have to cheer Tai up when you get there. Oh, he's on the move... Oh, guess he goes in there when he wants, huh? Cause he's out now.
Brenda gave Mei Xiang a bag of fruit...
Yes, Suzanne, zoo today
Mai sure seems to be enjoying it! Didn't see it delivered, was on the phone...darn work!
Looks like Tai is eating something too...
Eagle still in BW, our kids AWOL.
Mei stood up at the door and Brenda put it thru the tiny window.
BBIALW, looks like the kids are gonna be no shows this morning!!
I tried to post my photos on the Momsters Album, but when "Browse" comes up, my Puter takes me to the wrong place. Not where my photos are stored.
WANDA, I always have problems when I try to do something there, like an avatar....everyone says it is easy, but to this day can't do it, so not even going to attempt to put picture on, but I do love to go to the albums, Jo and Paula and everyone have done a great job.
Morning, Wanda! I have renamed mine this morning, but haven't tried to post any yet. Need to go through them, have too many.
MITS...Been wondering how the new grandbaby is doing. Does Maggie love her or resent her?
Capt. is up. Coffee time. BBL
Wanda, I'm putting one on there now. When you hit browse, it takes you to My Pictures. Use the folder with the arrow to move to your directory where the photos are stored. Wow.....awesome pic, of Great Smokies, Suzanne.
Awww, Tai has a red ring he's playing with, too cute!
Woah, what's the deal, F&F is back in color! That's a first for this time of day! Guess Tai got bored with his red ring, gonna walk around for a while.
