The FRODOCAM seems to be stuck, I'm looking at the parents right talon, it looks like a claw, and he/she is holding it up. Hope it is ok.

i wish i could go on the eagle train and to the Open House and all that with you guys...seems like most of you are "back east", and even really close to each other! is there anyone out here in AZ besides me?? Anyone out HERE at all? :-)
Tomorrow I get to go with Jody to Game & Fish to pick up three of our Great Horned Owls who have completed Flight & Prey training and are ready to be released! I'm hoping that Mom and I can go out to the lake this weekend and set them free -- if I can, I'll be sure to get photos!
Amazing how much time L&B are spending in the nest, doing "nestoration" (I LOVE THAT!!), with so long to go before the next breeding season.
You know, while I'm picking up the owls, I'll see if I can get pics with their education eagle, Montana. She's a beauty! I don't have an eagle permit, so I doubt I can handle her but maybe I can at least get a photo of the two of us together. You don't realize how big they are until you're next to one! Turkey vultures are even bigger, now THAT'S a big bird!!
hope everyone is doing well...i'm going to go indulge in a chocolate cupcake with neon pink icing! woohoo!

Good morning, world. TGIF, we made it. How come 4 day weeks seem just as long, or longer than 5 day weeks? Sure do to me!
Nice out, but chilly..55° both home and here, that's a first. Temp didn't change. But no wind. We had some rain last night, must have been a gentle rain, so that's a good thing. No rain down here though, streets are totally dry.
See we don't have a cam again. At first it was just a black screen, but now it's the dreaded blue with psycho lines at the top. Bummer!
Think Squiggles is sleeping alone in the den, but it's so dark I really can't tell. 'Course BW is MT at this hour. Oh, now we can see the light glare through blue and white lines...and even more psycho lines at the top. Hum, this isn't gonna last long for me, hurts the old eyes.
All have a great eagle/panda day.

Forgot...Dolly is against the wall sleeping, but not in the corner. Pic still in color, love the color.
Bummer, Dolly is back to B&W, but she's still snoozing.
I also now see Bai laying on her side in the den, do not see little Squiggles, so Bai must be holding her. Bai's back is to cam.
Just changed the view in Brisbane. Parent just arrived on ledge, but Dolly didn't move, she's still sleeping. Can see some of the water, but the pic is so fuzzy again. Only time I see a really clear pic is when I get pics in email. Can't believe the difference in the quality between color and B&W! Amazing.
wow, color is back in Brisbane, beautiful sight!!! Parent still on ledge, but looks like Dolly might have woken up, she's not laying down sleeping, and if you look closely, you can see her tiny black eyes. How cute is that!!!

Morning, Jim. I had to laugh at your chuckle, that was too funny! so I knew you were up. Man, you're gonna get all turned around with sleeping and staying awake. If you're not careful, you're gonna be on East Coast time!
Frieda's cam does look clearer now than it was. Also had color back for a few, love that cam in color, it's just so beautiful!
Not much on our cam, but I'll wait an hour or so to see if it clears up. If not, have to turn it off, hurts the eyes.

Brrrr! Was just outside, and it's very windy. I'm so glad I took time to try to comb my hair this morning, you can really tell... NOT! Guess we'll see bad hair days for the eagles at BW! It's a whole lot colder now than when I came in. But don't think it's supposed to get all that warm today, anyway.

Beautiful blue screen on our cam today! :{ I wonder if it will again be off for this weekend thanks to Denver.
Was awakened early this morning with a fire call for a fully engulfed house which painters lived in and stored their paint. Everyone got out ok, but explosions from the paint didn't help the firefighters any.
Yesterday, just after I left school, they had a lock down in the middle school, as a suspicious package was found in one of the bathrooms. Needless to say, there was pandemonium for awhile. Our middle school, elementary school and high school are together on the same campus. I heard on the radio that all three schools were open today, so here I am. ;) They even have trouble down here from time to time.
JIM So sorry to hear about your sleeping problms. Hopefully, you will get your biological clock in working order for retirement shortly. I have a tv in my room and turn it on with the timer set to turn it off. When I get sleepy, I just turn over and go back to sleep and the timer does the rest.)
Teacher is here and caught me conversing, so guess I had better hit the road. BBL
Candy, I'm sorry I missed you! I didn't read back, so didn't know how long the cam had been down, but was figuring it went out last night sometime. Wasn't expecting any early morning folks to join me. Megan surprised me, and I'm glad she did. She had a different birdie than I did, and hers was evidentally right. Those darn birdies, can't get their stories straight!
Candy, hope you're alright after all that school excitement yesterday. I just find it so hard to believe all the violence in schools these days. Man, we got suspended if we were caught smoking the the little girls room! Then got whipped when we got home! (That's just an example, didn't happen to me, but you know what I mean.)

Eagle just left BW. Wonder how long it will be before the Ewwiieess start their party, again.
Wow! Capt. Eagle is saving seats for all you gals and right now, the Eagle Express is in the hospital. Hope it gets out in time for Open House. It needs a new REAR-End. (I was going to make a remark, but not gonna). Mechanic assured us it would be done in time for the 20th. It is only 2 years old and only 9000 miles. Thank goodness it is still under warrenty!

Wanda, my Toy car is in the hospital too...stayed overnight, hate it when that happens! But she's just getting her 5 week, 5,000 mile oil changed. Hit 100K this week. Sure didn't take long coming down here 5 days a week! Then they called me and she needs new brakes too, so having them put on. If nothing else ever works, brakes and tires will be absolutely top working order. But she's a good car, and has many more miles and years in her, I'm sure. But get it back this afternoon after work. Coming in this morning was an adventure, driving so far in an unfamiliar car. Don't like to do that, but wasn't going to miss a day of work just to get the oil changed and new brakes put on!
Hope the Eagle Express gets out in time for the 20th!
