Okay, Suzanne, that show is so funny, with Mrs. Bucket (IT'S BOUQUET DEAR) They are really old, seen them all at least twice. NOthting funnier than those British comedies to me- Hubby used to complain when I would watch, then I would catch him laughing!
Well the National Zoo DC camera preson is back at Atlanta....hee hee I'm typing that and they must have heard me saying it out loud as I typed it because the straightened the cam up lol

Dana, when you go to Blackwater you can drive throught the whole place if you don't want to walk. There are roads all through the refuge. When you follow the experts as they help you find eagles, they drive- you follow, then get out when they stop to observe. Or view from your car.

Suzanne, the Eagle prowl at 1 pm is the thing not to miss, the expert, Zeeger De Wilde has volunteered at BW for years he knows where all the eagle nests are, and he is a really interesting character. He helped me see my first bald eagle in the wild. Also at 8 am the bird walk(you really drive-following him to the areas where you get out and observe) with Terry Allen is great, he will take you to all the eagle areas, and help you spot and identify all the birds you see at BW- these guys really know their birds and are enthusiastic about teaching others.

Oh just hearing Foralgirl talk about the trip to Blackwater. Oh I so wished it wasn't that far away. Husband would drive me there but it is too far. His legs has been swelling. So that would be too far a drive for him right now.

Oh Oh I know..We had an eagle fix yesterday during the garage sale You know I loe aobut 5 min drive fromt he Marina. looking over the roof of my house fromt he drive way way up there in a blue patch of sky was an eagle. Just sat and watched it for a while. So fun to see it from my driveway Said I should go get my camera for the bloggers LOL. it was so high and so far, we would have all had to work on seeing it once I got the picture, but it was there and I loved seeing it from my house. Meant something so different this year. Sent good thoughts its way and to all its kin wherever they Soar!! Blog at ya later.

GOOD MORNING EAGLE FRIENDS Beautiful day here, although a tad cooler. Don't forget to read the update from the zoo yersterday on Tians' reaction to his new yard, he did very well and they are really proud of him, as well they should be. Mei and Tai are exploring the new yard right now. Going out to see if I can see any remaing dolphins, before they head south.

Why thank you, NORMABYRD. I just love those pandas. I love those eagles and falcons and osprey, but you all know 1st place in my heart still goes to the pandas.
The BALTIMORE NATIONAL AQUARIUM released a sea turtle off the OC coast on September 8th and you can go on their web-site and track his travels, he is heading up the Chesapeake Bay.
Man, I wish I had been frapping Buta Buta just now. Was anybody watching. It was like she was trying to jump up, flipped herself over on her back and it scared her really bad. You could see her mouth moving, she was just a-hollering!

DANA About 2 years ago, they took a rescued harbor seal named SANDDOLLAR and put him back in the ocean down the beach from me, with a tracking device and we watched him for months, til he shed his fur in late June. It was just amazing being able to follow that little guy. The story of SANDDOLLAR may still be on the Aquariums' site.

I read about the darn can't remember if yes I think it was a whale. Swallowed plastic and one of those balloons that Belle got Nilla...poor think couldn't eat then. They fixed it up and back to the sea it went. Love it.

Watching BUTA, just brings back sooo many memories of Tai Shan and his growing up and out. Love going thru this again. DOREEN I'm with you on the booties, just want to grab them...mu hubby will not give me the binoculars at the football games, because all I do is watch the booties of the players and make comments.

You know I would if I could, in order to go to an NFL football game, you really have to strip down to the bare minimum of gear you carry in and you cannot have a binocular case and I'n not going to wear them around my neck. They also do a light pat down of you and check your purse.

I thought that was Mei Xiang eating the treats, because the other cam was showing the wollow tree and thought Tai was up it.
It is getting so hard to tell them apart except from the behind, Mei still shakes her booty.
I do believe Tai is up the willow tree, I can see a little panda face among the leaves.

Bad Boy Tai Mei just wants to eat her bamboo - but Tai left her her alone since they came inside. Such wrestling antics I've never seen..Love it when he goes around on his hind legs... then he sneaks up behind her & just grabs hold to the back of her head...Well, she has slammed him down a couple of times-but Tai just doesn't get the message.

Well, the lady who is in charge decided this morning I would lead the kids through the corn maze instead. That was fine with me, I prefer it.
How is their corn maze? Haven't been thru one yet. Was a big article in the Fred paper about corn mazes...kids have gone, I've never been.
That sounds like a lot more fun. Being a city girl, have never gone thru one.
Well, the one I take them thru is the "small one" it's still easy to get lost in there if you don't know the route. I try to make sure they make some wrong turns to keep it interesting. Have to have them in and out in 15 minutes, though. These were 4th graders and the woman in charge again made a last minute decision for me to take the last group of kids thru the giant corn maze- which I had never been in and will not go back into anytime soon with a group of kids. 20 minutes after walking around in circles, we emerged out the entrance! That maze is huge and really confusing, a real challenge for sure.

Oh, big time lost! even the guy who cut the paths thru the maze says he occassionally gets lost in that one. I have the smaller one memorized!
