NILLABEAN So glad you stopped by. Remember what we told you before, take the pain meds as directed, so, that the pain doesn't get a grip on you.

Paula My dogs have these eyes that look right through your heart if they don't think they are getting taken care of properly and on time

Sleeping inThat's never going to happen. They stare at me. I kind of peak..sure enoug I knew I felt those eyballs. I try to ignore them for a little bit, and you start to here this "muffled' little bark, that just gets less and less muffled UNTIL you GET UP!!!

And like you I do NOT know what I would do without them. They add life to my home.

Dana Yes I am having fun in the shop. I of course like everything in there too...and I don't really have a JOB at the moment...LOL

There is Santa...so maybe Window shop and make a Santa Wish list.

Nilla Glad to hear from you but so sorry you are still having some pain. That is probably pretty miserable. it is keeping you from doing too much too soon though I am sure...and the rest is good, but NOT the pain. Surely hope to be hearing better news as the days go by. How is the Blood Pressure?

Good night all. Will Blog at ya tomorrow.

Well gonna watch the news and weather and get ready to call it a day.

I am going to fall asleep & my head is going to hit the keyboard... Guess it is the nice cool weather affecting me.

Mits Too cool to sit on the balcony unless you wrap up in a blanket. Have a good night's rest.

Good Night Buddies! Dream feathers, fur & little fluffy birds!
LoLove Jo

Sharon You're past your curfew time!!!! It's 11:00 & we don't know where you are.....
Hope you're on your way home with a Victory to chalk up!

Ok, guess I will turn out the lights and lock the blog. SHARON the key is under the mat if you want to get back in tonight.

I am back.

Bluefield 60, Grundy 7. Blow out game.

The band did a Grease show tonight and it was awesome. We had a 57 Chevy come out onto the field. The girls were dressed in poodle skirts and the boys in white t-shirts, blue jeans and leather jackets. It was wonderful!

Mema Jo, I am way past my curfew but more poor little boy hadn't had supper so I went to Arby's to get him a sandwich and then had to go to the store to get pop for the poor little feller! :)

Mema Jo said...

BOO
Now that you're safely home I can go to bed! Glad you had a good good evening. Nite LoLove

glo thank you for your wonderful compliments! I really appreciate that you took the time to tell me :-)

sharon how's your sister today?

doreen how are you healing up? do you have the eaglet momsters email address? it goes to everyone in our group who signed up to receive emails... i'll email it to you, just in case...

jim how's your cold today? feeling better, i hope :-)

nilla or whomever speaks to her next if the doctor hit a nerve, and it is still inflamed (causing the pain), you should ask him if a short course of steroids would be okay with your current medications. prednisone, etc., is used for nerve inflammation... so is naprosyn (Aleve is naproxen, related). Being in pain increases your blood pressure and heart rate, and he needs to address the CAUSE of your pain, not just mask the pain with drugs like percocet, etc... when I hurt my back a couple months ago, I took prednisone for a week after taking "cover up" drugs for a week, and that's what made me feel better faster... never hurts to ask him, or even get a second opinion. you might want to see a chiropractor, too. i'd have you see mine, except i'm not exactly close to you!!!

mitsthe "frog in a bag of salad" is a hoax... for one thing, all of those bagged greens are run thru machines, etc., and washed, and there wouldn't be any tadpoles of frogs there... the e. coli is a bacterium, can be found in millions of places, unlike tadpoles :-)

mama kat glad to hear you're doing well with the kittens... my mother and i have raised many abandoned kittens over the years. one year, five feral litters were found under a wood pile, and the landscapers brought them to us. there were THIRTY kittens. unfortunately, all but one died, they had distemper. the one that lived, her name was MiMi and she lived to the ripe old age of NINETEEN... I miss her so much even now. grew up with her, basically... have you had them tested for distemper, FIV, FLV, FIP, worms, etc.? in a previous life, I was a vet tech in a cats-only clinic...

all busy for the next week... i have to replace the screen in my patio sliding door (thanks, Joey), plant a sage bush and a lantana, fix three drippers, stake two trees (thanks, windstorm), do my laundry, finish the Power Point presentation & have another rehearsal with Jody & Dave, do a presentation for the kennel club at the library on Thursday, clean the turtle's tank, finish packaging my things for the art gallery and send them off, get the trash picked up in my back yard (again, thanks, windstorm and thanks, Joey), go to the fundraiser at the zoo (I'm sooo excited!!!), go to a bird breeder's show with Dave... I'm sure there's other things, but can't remember them. I just hope the fibro doesn't kick into high gear, or a migraine hits me before I get all this stuff done!!

also... I wanted to suggest something to all of you... if you DON'T have Norton Antivirus, etc., try running Ad-Aware and Spybot on your system. I use them everytime I go online (at the end of my session), and they keep my computer from being invaded. THEY ARE BOTH FREEWARE PROGRAMS, which means they don't cost anything. Just download them. I'll send the links in an email to the group, Paula, if you could post on the LINKS section of the group site?

Freida I saw all three chicks clear as a bell today, I'll put the pictures in her album on the group site...

Catch up with everyone as soon as I can. Know that I will be thinking about you all, and hoping everyone is well (or at least getting well) and happy!

My daughter called like Wed night I think it was to tell me about all the hail and water she was "driving in" to try to get to Elia. it was up to the rim of her SUV. That was AZ in the Nogalez area She too has dealth with some wild weather in AZ this summer. I just tease her about moving to the desert!!!

Improved communication is expected to revolutionize the possibility of streaming video from web cameras. Seeing the other person you are talking to is very important.
