HODA, looking back over the lyrics we each came up with, it doesn't seem like much has changed ! They are pretty much relavent for today. Each generation thinks, "things have never been worse", but fact is the same ol' stuff just keeps happening. Are we slow learners, or what ?

Good morning to those already here and to those who come in later.

Congratulations on the arrival of Maya Gabriela. Give her hugs and kisses, Margy. Hope work goes somewhat smoothly today.

Nice to have the Hornby cam back. Really wanted to watch David and Alexandra fly.

Robyn, you have continued prayers for Tori.

Will be headed for the Farmer's Market this morning. Something I enjoy. One of my favorite vendors is from the Martinsburg-Hedgesville area.

Wishing a lovely day for all the momsters and dadsters.

Good morning!

My, those are healthy sycamore leaves. The next person to climb the tree will need to do something about that branch.

The Kingston Trio did sing this:

The Merry Minuet

They're rioting in Africa
They're starving in Spain
There's hurricanes in Florida
And Texas needs rain
the whole world is festering with unhappy souls
The French hate the Germans, the Germans hate the Poles
Italians hate Yugoslavs, South Africans hate the Dutch
And I don't like anybody very much.

But we can be tranquil and thankful and proud
For man's been endowed with a mushroom-shaped cloud
And we know for certain that some lucky day
Someone will set the spark off and we will all be blown away

They're rioting in Africa
There's strife in Iran
What nature doesn't do to us
Will be done by our fellow Man
-- Sheldon Harnick @1958

I do remember this song from my much younger days. And, you can get it for your cell phone ringtone, just in case you wondered.

Good Morning, Everyone!
Thanks for the early morning nest play-by-play, Judy & Kay! Nice to know that Belle & Truder are OK. I've opened the cam, and it looks like whatever was wrong with it is better now. That's good!

Prayers continue for Lori's Mom, and for Lori and the whole family. Thankful for the positive progress report!

Thank God too for the good report about KF Judy! Prayers continue for her, also.

Lynn, your paint/stain color sounds really pretty. So glad you saw Myrtle, too! Sorry Shelby got a bit carried away. Good thing you hadn't shampooed the carpet yet!

Hey,Red, so good to see you for a longer visit than usual! Glad you two enjoyed your trip. Prayers that the COPD will improve, and not be such a bother! Hang in there, and don't be a stranger! We all love hearing from you! ((HUGS))

Prayers still for Tori. Hope a cure will be found, but if not, hope she can get a transplant!

Glad the Hornby cam is back on--YAY!!!

Margie, congratulations! Please give that sweet new little person a cuddle for me!--Maya Gabriela. Beautiful name! God bless her!

Lolly, prayers that you will get some much-needed RAIN! Starting my rain dance now!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Betty Ford!
I agree with Hoda--she helped a lot of people, she accomplished so much, and she made a big difference in this world. She will be sorely missed!

Well, now that I've sort of caught up, I'd better get going. Gotta go feed the bulldogs, and the "girls" will be anxiously awaiting our appearance! I'll tell them you all said "Howdy!"

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. I'll check back in later.

Good Morning Eagle Pals!!

So much going on and have finally caught up as best as I could!

L♥RI - Have kept you and your Mom and family in prayer along with the others and I am so HAPPY to hear she did well yesterday and will hopefully go home today. Continued prayers for her surgery in the near future. God is good and is in control!!

KAY - So happy to hear about your friend Judy, too. May her body heal and recover quickly with no return of cancel cells!

MARGY - Congratulations on your new grand-niece Maya Gabriela! What a beautiful name.

RED - So glad you stopped in and posted to update us on how you're doing. Do take care of yourself. Not being able to breathe is not a fun thing. Praying that the prednisone and antibiotics make a world of difference.

ROBYN - Praying that Tori comes home Tuesday and that she can gain some sense of "normal life" again. Praying that a solution to her condition be it a transplant or other method comes quickly. That poor child has been through so much. So have you!! You're in my prayers as well as I know your lives have been completely uprooted.

LYNN - I absolutely love your home in the woods! Can't wait to see the new color!

LYNNE2 - We miss and love you, too!! Sometimes we have other obligations that take us away from what we WANT to do. I, too, wish I could blog more, but just can't find the time! Life is short!

It's great to hear from everyone.....how they are doing....what is going on in your lives!

Have a wonderful Saturday Eagle Pals! Will check in when time permits! Love you all ♥♥♥

Kay said...

Thanks to all who've expressed happiness upon hearing that our prayer's for my friend, Judy, have been answered. She isn't out of the hospital, nor out of the woods, but it's the best report one can imagine for this stage of leukemia ! Will keep you updated as reports come in. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Good Sat. morning, Eagle dudettes and dudes!

Thelma, so glad that you pop in, but wish you'd stay longer!!!!

Watched Myrtle devour more tomato a little while ago, and then she started heading for the woods...she was halfway to the garage before I lost sight of her.

Very interesting bird stories, Shirley. Thanks for pursuing....proves that accidents happen even.

Hoda, Shirley, and Kay---I remember that song, too! And loved the Kingston Trio (as did my Dad)....along with many of the hootenanny crowd! PP&M was a good favorite, too----lost Mary last year.

hedgie said...

Linda, does your accounting work at home last all year? That project you had this week sounded like a real PIA!

Hmmmm...house is getting very warm...guess I better nudge the thermostat back a bit.....

Margy, do you have special plans after work? Certainly not heading for Roanoke, are you???

SIL's bro is finally on his way to dig the holes and set the posts for the new fence section! DUH-----been waiting for weeks!

Kay said...

LYNN, will the new section of fence block off more of the "bad neighbor" view ?

stronghunter said...

Guess Kathryn just found out about football practice. She and Hunter are headed there now.

stronghunter said...

Sounds like Lynn's neighbor needs all of the blocking off possible.

stronghunter said...

Upstairs chores are still calling me.

stronghunter said...

LYNN, went to your Lair for a refresher course on your beautiful home, flora, fauna, family and friends. Anyone wanting to see how gorgeous Myrtle the Turtle is, see 2009. You'll also note, she loves her maters ! What ever happened to ITT turtle, Lynn ?

Linda said...

Yes, Lynn, I do work year round because I have business clients as well. Some need more work than others, but they all need quarterly payroll returns done throughout the year and others have tax questions, IRS letters and issues from time to time. I have a few on extension that are just now getting me their information, too.

I also agreed to work 1-2 days a week for someone doing their paperwork and books. Some weeks it is only 3-4 hours and other weeks it is a full day.

This week I had to travel to both of his locations and the second location is about 45 minutes away. That is where I was yesterday.

I just set the second location up so I can remotely do work from here to there to save that drive time and get some more "real-time" activity done there. I usally go there once a month. This way I can update them weekly as well.

If the owner would leave me alone and NOT TALK SO MUCH when I was there, I could probably finish in half the time. He fails to realize that HIS talking costs him more MONEY!! Oh well.....

He is one of those that enjoys the "town talk" which I don't have much use for!!

hedgie said...

Good nest coverage this am---by you early-bird reporters AND the sycamore leaves!

Do you all know what I am referring to if I describe a round (golf ball size), light brown paper-thin growth that falls out of some trees? It might be called a gall.......anyway, Liesl just brought one in from the yard, and crunched it open. Got it all away from her...and cleaned up the mess.

DanaMo said...

Ah just finished vacuuming up all the dog hair, making the bed, and cleaning the bathroom. I think it's "pool o'clock" :)

Kay said...

LYNN, LOL, you're right, The Mighty Sycamore does have the nest covered--just not the way we like !

Isn't it amazing what dogs will find and enjoy chewing on ? Why are they then so finicky when it comes to pills ?

I've enjoyed your Sharpeis on Lynns Lair. Don't know the whole story, but take it you had a sad experience with one or more. My stepson's first wife raises that breed and has several show dogs as well. I found them kinda cute and yet so slobbery !

Linda said...

DANAMO - LOL on the "pool'oclock"

LYNN - Didn't mean to be so lengthy on my answer about my work. I think I just get so frustrated at this guy I work for! Even if he does pay me to listen to him talk, I'm more of the type that likes to work in quiet and then get out of there!!

Linda said...

Well, Mom decided to go home from the hospital yesterday. I got the impression it was slightly against doctor's preferences because she hasn't completed rehabilitation as they would have liked her to do. That's Mom for you!

I am going to call her now and see how she is doing. She is much better now that the pnemonia is gone, but more respiratory therapy would have really helped her out.

Oh, Shirley....it would take a 20 ft. high fence a nd probanbly another 40 feet in length to block out ALL the mess I have to deal with.

Kay, never saw ITT or Hugo again!
I'm sure that doesn't mean they aren't still around, but......keeping low profiles, I guess! Myrtle staked her claim first! And she's bigger than they are!

hedgie said...

Oh, Kay, I loved my SharPei SO much. The only bad experience with my first three was losing them. Mom Shanghai Cheque (Shang) died of leukemia in 2001. Her daughter Shang Tu (Tu) died of bone cancer when she was 6; her son Key Luke (Luke) of liver cancer when he was 7. I miss them all to this day.
Mai Ying was the pup I adopted before Christmas---she was a SharPei mix and was the devil in disguise. I could not handle or control her. Too strong, too nasty.....she tried to chew me up---always attacking me. I returned her to the rescue in April.

hedgie said...

Linda, I understand your frustration! Get in, get done, get out!! Forget the chit-chat! Unfortunately, there are lots of people like him!

Good afternoon Friends and Lurkers ( : I did start in the morning reading comments.

I have my days mixed up thought today was Sunday.

See eagles came in this morning.
Thank you all for the comments.

Kay sounds like good news for KF Judy.
No traces of lukemia great news.
Continuing prayers for Judy and family and you.

My first husband (ex) in past year had lukemia and went through Chemo.
As much as I dislike him for the affair with the girl during our marriage and a lot of other things he did. The girl she is now his 3rd wife. I still put them on
my prayer list. He is in remission now.

Lori I seen her comment:
Mom has general cardiopulmonary disease and already has one stent. She returns Wednesday for
tests then they will schedule the valve replacement and bypass surgery for most likely the following week.
She'll be in the hospital for at least 5 days.

Lori my Ed in January 3, 2002 had a 5 bypass. He did excellent. So as your Mother moves on. Keep us updated because as you know those "prayers" do work.

Prayers continue for Robyn, Bobbi, and Tori.
Glad she is gettng to come home. I pray they figure out the best care for her. Robyn keep us updated PLEASE.

DanaMO is on the "Cinch" diet. Never heard of cinch diet before.

Happy Birthday Tai Shan!!!! your 6 years old now.

Trying again to post~~~DUH
Lynn, Frankie, Jr. is in Carlisle with other guys who mostly drove their own sharp cars. He still has no definite plans. He said they can hardly decide on where to eat! Car show/sale continues thru Sunday, but he may come here tonight. If so, there's a show here Sunday that we can all attend.

Little story I tried to post is a Critter Caper. As most of you know, we've had a friendly squirrel, Shorty, visiting for 3 years. She (I think)comes right up to you and begs for peanuts---even goes in garage to fetch Frank. Two of her other wild buddies are just now figuring out that if people come outside, there might be peanuts!!Yesterday AM, Shorty was not around, but one of the others jumped to the dining room windowsill outside & was looking in for Frank!!

Judie said...

Good afternoon, everyone.

Dana, Darth had quadruple bypass in 1990 and then two stents implanted about 10 years ago. Only the left coronary artery is viable. Doctor said it is good that that he is one of the few people who have a left dominant heart.

Loretta, our squirrel Slam Dunk reminds me of Shorty. If I propped open the outside back door and the garage door, Slam Dunk would just walk in, head for the garage, take a peanut from the tub, look at me and walk back out. I would just keep cooking as he came and went as he pleased.

Went to Farmer's Market then grocery shopping. Tired.

Linda, hope your Mom is going to improve quickly being back in her own environment.

Kay said...

Just returned from grossery shopping--LYNN, I searched high and low for those chips at my Kroger Marketplace. Wonder if you're in a test market for that flavor ? Wound up buying Totito's Artisan fire roasted Chipotle tortilla chips to go with burgers and all the fixin's tonight. Seth and I are getting back to the old routine.

LORETTA, love the Critter Caper ! Looks like Shorty has taught her friends a thing or two. Cute !

Good afternoon,

I have been sleeping. I did not sleep much last night and have been doing lots of work today. Got the upstairs bathroom cleaned and have been trying to get things organized in my own room. It is the biggest challenge because I had to put so many things in there that had been in the two spare rooms last September.

It looks like my room belongs to a hoarder, and maybe it does. I do need to dispose of most of those things.

Well finally made it back to check in. My day didn't exactly work out as I had hoped, but that is the way things go.

Mom is home and happy to be there. Yes, she can hopefully get some more rehabilitation done at home. Nurse On Call comes daily as well as physical therapists, I think. She'll have help, in addition to her husband, that is for sure. I just know how she can be when she doesn't want to do something.

Their computer is ALL MESSED UP, so I agreed to remotely log in to their computer and .........that pretty much took up the rest of my day. Uninstalling things that didn't need to be there, updates, problems with virus software.....you name it. I think I got it working so they don't constantly get blocked from EVERY website they go to! Ugh! Actually I was glad to help. Hopefully they won't get it all messed up again in a matter of days.....

LYNN - The comment about the guy I work for once a week or so is exactly how I feel. If I want to chit-chat, I want to be HERE and not with him and all his nonsense!!! ♥♥♥

Linda said...

Thanks for all the comments about my Mom. I don't know if it will continue or not, but she was hallucinating last night thinking the wall had moved and she couldn't get to the bathroom. When she woke up in the morning she was absolutely convinced I was in the house and didn't want to make too much noise so as not to wake me. Very strange....

It happened before she went into the hospital. I hope she isn't waking in the night and taking her 40mg Oxycotin when she isn't supposed to. It wouldn't surprise me. Her husband may have to hide the meds so she doesn't hurt herself.

hedgie said...

Dana, Frank, Irene and I are still trying to buy a place at the beach.

hedgie said...

Linda, yes----make sure that the meds aren't the issue. But tell her husband to tell the doctor, or talk to the pharmacist---it could be a med interaction if she's taking more than just the oxycontin. Scary!

Linda said...

Guess the 503 has gotten us all today at one time or another. I got A LOT of them this morning. Grrr

wvgal_dana said...

Any pictures of this one your trying to buy?

Linda said...

LYNN - I was thinking of asking my step-dad to ask if she had any of those hallucinations while in the hospital over the past three weeks. If she hasn't then there is a pretty good chance that she is doing something at home that is different.

She has been known to take the wrong pills or take too much when she is in pain from the poly-rhuematica fibromyalgia (I think that is what it's called). I keep trying to explain how dangerous it is to over medicate. She has always had a tendency to do so. I am the exact opposite. I'm afraid of all that stuff!!

hedgie said...

Linda, how do you take remote control of their puter??? I sure could have used that when trying to help my computer illiterate sister.

JudyEddy said...

Oh no light is leaving the nest starting to fade come on eagles PLEASE

Hoda said...

Colour is changing at the nest. Does not look like we will have an evening visit. All the more reason I appreciate the reoprt of the morning visit from JudyE and Kay.

hedgie said...

Linda, the hallucinations are not uncommon in the hospital with a prolonged stay for the elderly. But SHOULDN'T be happening at home.....

Dana, nothing yet.....we just got a new realtor who seems more interested in working with and for us. There are 3 possibilities, but nothing we've made an offer on yet. We want him to do some checking on some specifics before we make a trip down again.

JudyEddy said...

how exciting for you how far from where you live is the palce going to be you are looking at

Linda said...

LYNN - There is a remote desktop connection available though windows and there is another free program (which I don't remember the name of) you can use. For my clients I use GoToMyPC.com which costs about $10/month per customer. Today I had my Mom sign up for the free 30 day trial and they can choose not to continue with it.

However with the problems they continually have, they should keep the monthly account to let me go in and do maintenance. It would be much easier for me.

With gotomypc.com, I can login and do a backup on my clients file, transfer it to my computer, make necessary changes and adjustments and then restore a new backup to their system while they are off over a weekend. Or I can just work on their computer. It is just slower.

I haven't tried the remote desktop connection, but I think I will to see how good it works. Plus it's FREE!

JudyEddy said...

are you all watching the race

Lolly said...

Don't you just hate it when your mom is hallucinating, Linda? Mother did that a lot while in the hospital and then when she was in hospice care. It was horrible. You just want YOUR mom back! (((Hugs)))

Has Lori checked in today?

Special, special prayers for those of you who still have your Moms.

Linda said...

It's real simple to use gotomypc.com, if you have a need for it.

The host computer installs the small program and it is in a "waiting for connection" mode when the computer is on.

Then the remote computer just goes to the website, logs in, sees the host computer listed and it's status of "online." You just click on the icon and it launches you into the computer once you type in a predetermined access code.

I think I'll go close the glass doors in the kitchen and sun room in case our bear decides to make a visit now that dark is upon us.

Back in a minute.....

Linda said...

Well it's not quite dark yet, but better safe than sorry, right?

Could hear that beautiful wood thrush sound out in the woods. Sounds like a flute out there!

Dennis found a nest with some kind of babies out by the burn pile this afternoon. He brought me one of the babies to show me and then I went out to see the rest of them. There are about four or five of them and their eyes aren't open yet, but they are not quite as big as a small chipmunk. They are reddish brown and have ears that resemble that of a squirrel. Maybe ground hog babies? I took a couple pics, but still haven't done any blog stuff yet.

I think I am too tired to try to set that up but maybe I will put them on FB if they came out.

hedgie said...

Judy, it's about 800 miles....Hatteras, NC.

Thanks, Linda! I will check it out---if she would still like to be online efficiently, maybe I can talk her into getting back into puting!

hedgie said...

Neat, Linda----could be groundhog...would love to see the pics when you feel like doing them!!!

Goodnight, Judy. Resrt well.

Lolly said...

Have been on the phone talking with Jack's sister.

Linda, I think I need to come visit you. LOL I want to see a bear again!

Anxious to see the picture of the babies you found.

Linda said...

Lynn - I posted the pictures I took of the babies on my FB under Back Yard Birds and Critters Album. I also posted a few pictures of my new wheels!!

Dennis didn't take pictures of the barn yet, but will do so tomorrow. You can sort of see it behind the picture I took of the rear of the car. It has the green roof and the barn red color stained siding. I'll get better pictures tomorrow.

Linda said...

So how do I post pictures here? Do I do it in editing of my profile or somewhere else?

LINDA I love the babies pic so cute I shared on my profile

Lolly said...

Linda, just saw the picture of the baby on facebook. Could it be a rabbit?

On here you have to create a blog on your profile and post pictures there.

JudyEddy said...

Linda edit your profile go on dashboard and create a blog to add pictures or video harder than FB

Linda said...

Thanks, JUDYE! Will add Maddie to the prayer list. That poor family has really had a rough go of it. Everyone has been in the hospital in the last month or so.

Sleep well, Judy!

Linda said...

Dennis thinks it isn't a rabbit because it has a tail that is kind of long and skinny for its size. The tail may have been just under an inch long.

I thought it was a rabbit, too. Don't know. The inside of their eyes is white as snow. Amazing how God has their markings all worked out!!

Lolly said...

Linda, like your new wheels, too!☺

Linda said...

Thanks on the wheels comment, Lolly!

Wasn't sure about the color, but Dennis loved it. I always like white vehicles for some reason. This car looks metallic brown sometimes and plum other times. Hmmmmm

Lolly said...

Well, I google baby squirre and baby groundhog and it does not look like either!

hedgie said...

CORRECTION, JUDY....500 miles not 800! Don't know what I was thinking. Takes about 9-10 hrs.

Lolly said...

After looking at pictures, I still thin baby rabbit. LOL What do I know? Not much!

Linda said...

Well that is pretty interesting, Lolly. What else could they be?

Lolly said...

I am getting good at leaving the last letter off of words. LOL

Linda said...

I just thought of our cat that loves to kill chipmunks in our yard!! Yikes!! I haven't seen their cat over here as much this year, so hopefully it won't get to those babies. They are just in a shallow hold under some leaves and grass.

Linda said...

I'll be checking on them now that I know they are there. Now there are three nests in that area. A robin's nest, not very high in a tree, a woodpecker's nest with LOUD babies in it, and now this one on the ground!! I guess we have a healthy yard!

hedgie said...

Hmmm... I thought bunny, too, but that kind of tail makes that doubtful. Hopefully you'll see the momma and then know!
Car is a pretty color.

Lolly said...

A true wildlife area! I have a wrens nest and armadillo holes. LOL

Linda said...

I went to the dashboard to try to start my own blog. I gave it a name and then it said to enter the url address??? I have to put something in and the rest is @blogspot.com, I think. I'm not sure what to put there.

Okay........I created a blog called Linda's Pics, but haven't posted anything to it! I'm WAY too tired and need a break from this computer!!

It's time for me to take a nice hot shower and hit the hay.......no pun intended!! LOL

As always, it was great chatting with my dear eagle friends!! Wishing a restful sleep for all. Keeping everyone in prayer tonight, especially L♥ri and her Mom, Kay and her friend Judy, Sharon, Maddie, Sissy, Robyn & Tori, Red and any others I may have not mentioned. Good Evening Everyone!
Our company showed up at 8PM, went to bed now. Older cat heads for the hills when he appears. I didn't know hge was here & basement door was open & she ran down there to hide. When guys went out, I tried to lure her up like Hansel & Gretel w/a few treats in a trail to the steps! Never saw her come up, but we just found her under an upstairs bed!!!The potty box is upstairs, that's why she has to be on this floor!!
Linda, saw you wetre trying to start your pic Blog. When I clicked on your name & then Linda's Pics, it opened, but just said no posts. So looks like your good to go. If you open "Linda's Pics" yourself & don't get a proper command at top right, like "New Post", you can get those options by hitting sign in I think!

Linda I don't have you on my friends list.....dang!!

Linda said...

One last Hello and Good Evening to WVDana and Hoda!! Nice to see you tonight.

Oh no, is right, Hoda. That is just awful!! The earth is experiencing Birth Pains as we were told in scripture we would.

Mark 13:8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Rest knowing God is in control and He will protect us!! Prayers for those experiencing the horrible earthquakes and tsunamis.

Before I konk out want to leave prayers and well wishes for Lori's Mom, Kay's friend, Judy, and our dear young Mattie!!! How awful if it's gallbladder already at her age. Any pain is awful, I guess. Hope they find the cause and everyone is better ASAP.

If I do konk out,Pleasant Feather Dreams to all and a belated Welcome Home to Jo & Dana ;>)

Thanks Linda I got it like the car and think maybe little bunnies as Lynn does.

I'm tired I'm closing down.

wvgal_dana said...

Prayers for Lori's Mom, Kay's friend Judy, Mattie, and everyone that needs prayer.

Linda said...

I think when I'm less tired, I can get it working, Lynn!!

So the consensus is "bunnies," but what about their skinny little tails? In one of the nest shots you can see part of the tail on the one on the left. The tail is kind of curled under.

Either way, they are God's little creatures and it's ever amazing to me how they live in nature. Truly amazing and touching.

Sweet Dreams.... ♥♥♥

Checking in to see if we've had word from LORI, but no. Going to figure no news is good news and that she's busy helping Nancy and Allen at home.

Reminder for those who can tune in. Lori's interview with Amanda of WVC/NGB will air tomorrow morning. 7:30 a.m. @ www.washfm.com

Aw shucks, no evening visit with Belle and/or Truder. Hope to see them in the a.m..

Adding Mattie and the folks in earthquake ridden Japan to the ongoing prayer list.

Wishing all a good night's rest !

Lynn, another program you could use is pcanywhere,,,you could buy it, install it, then send the disk to your mom to install it as well....one time fee for program, no monthly fees.

I didn't get any 503's today cuz I didn't post anything all afternoon ☺ Was cleaning, quick run to grocery store, up to vets, checked on friends kitty, checked out a yard sale....

Had my GF and her hubby over for dinner, had a great time. Next time it's at her house with her 2 labs...will bring Nick along so they can all play...

paula eagleholic said...

Lynn, hope you find something at the beach! Is your heart set on the Outer Banks???

paula eagleholic said...

LOL Nick is all played out. Asleep on the kitchen floor!

hedgie said...

Hurray, Linda--you did it!! Good start!

Hoda....ANOTHER one? There was one on Thurs., too....Japan might not recover if this one results in a tsunami, too......

hedgie said...

Loretta, glad the cat made it upstairs to safety!!! Poor kittie.

hedgie said...

They are calling it an aftershock....hmmmm. Felt in Tokyo over 200 miles away.

NatureNut said...

FYI, just found Baby Bunny from Aug. '09 and reposted. So glad these are sdaved on Blogspot, since I can't access old dead 'puter! I do have back up discs, but searching would take forever! Hope this might help a little.

It was my GF's Birthday a couple of days ago, (the one who came over tonight for dinner), so I ran up to the Antique Mall here in town to get her a present...saw a couple of cool things for the beach...gonna head up there tomorrow before heading up to John and Ajay's...Ajay and I are headed to Chambersburg to some sort of really neat store to look at frames and lamps for the beach...plus they have fabric. She has to pick out fabric for her dining rooms chairs...a Christmas present from me the Christmas before last...I am going to help her recover the chairs...already gave her the foam for the seats...So that's the game plan for tomorrow!

About ready to hit it! Typing getting harder, especially after a couple of adult beverages!

(((Hugs to all ♥)))

hedgie said...

LOL, Paula----NOT Mom. She would never figure out a computer. She can't even follow easy directions to record on a VCR!!!!
My sis is the one who needed help but couldn't grasp the help I was giving her over the phone!

Busy day for you for sure....glad you weren't stuck at the store doing cleanup!

Yeah, heart is set on OBX. That's where the kind of fishing that Frank likes is best...and those are the beaches that I love. With the "graveyard of the Atlantic" off the coast, iy is a very rugged surf.....consequently, often with very good wash-up of stuff usually found much further south. Plus I have NC blood in my veins!

NatureNut said...

Evening, Lynn. I missed the end of the race but saw bad boy Kyle won again!!!!!Hope he settles down and matures like brother Kurt.I thought Kurt was a bad boy when he started racing, too, but he's mellowed. And I don't like Wreckolowski's manners either!
I don't understand why Binky hates Frankie. She always greeted everyone & baby Scooter was fearful. Now it's the other way around. The reason I wanted her up, was a couple years ago when she first hid, she stayed behind the washer in basement and wasn't wearing Poise!!

NatureNut said...

Night-Night, Paula. Just missed you. I knew you should go into decorating!!!!Maybe working around furniture has rubbed off on you!! ☺
