No hatchling yet? I must have looked in a dozen times and the adult is always in the same position fussing with the fluff and listening to what's going on underneath.
I haven't seen the eggs today, not to mention a pip, but I'm sure they are "expecting."
Has the current adult received an evening fish yet?
After several 15 min. stops this morning (FireFox), I finally found the key, and it's been running for over 8 hours now.

Puzzling, but when she's almost down on eggs, it looks like theb brown thing wiggled Outside the egg---perhaps feather or dark twig?!
Glo, I found a way to look at it in full screen though, and it appeared as though the "cut" in the shell was a piece of the fluff, and the movement I saw was the fluff dropping off the egg.
I hope I'm wrong....

I think that is grass/fluff or a feather on the egg and when the eagles gets near the egg the fluff or whatever is on it moves. JMO
I agree with Robyn and Dana.
YES Loretta Put whatever you want to on there. If the male isn't there the sooner she gets help the better as its while they are so very young that she can't leave them for very long due to temp stability and predators etc. She needs help now, as in ASAP.
Well I too am now pretty sure it was not a moving chick. I think we saw with our hearts earlier, and as I said I was leary but it did feel more certain when 2 others saw it too. I do hope that pip grows into a chick soon...very soon indeed. I am almost out of bananas. :-) I do think Belle has hung around for hours now without any real break because of that pip. I hope we are right and that all is well. A fish arrival would have been nice to see for her or a chick.
Glo, I put my comment on but it's not showing up. In my non-professional opinion, I'm sticking to my original sighting that it was fluff! However, I see from your video that it was Belle brushing against it that moved it and not the wind!

That's great of you to do Loretta! I don't know what I feel....on one hand I don't want it to be one of the nest adults. But if it is, there is hope with help for the single parent. But if it isn't, that just means that another nest somewhere will likely suffer loss.....

The sandperson is ever so quietly creeping down the hallway. So it is time for me to turn off my light but leave the night light on for others coming in -- those who have been playing bridge, headed back the hallway, to the tub, coming in from evening activities, or just stumbling around in the dark.
Wanda, sure know you had a terrific soup kitchen presentation tonight. Important to educate about giving back and helping those who are less fortunate.
Peaceful sleep for Belle, Lib, and eaglets to be. Tomorrow may bring a laddie or lassie for us to celebrate.

I believe the stabbing incident at Food Lion, was, a shoplifting, with the brandishing of a knife, but no one got stabbed or was injured...not so sure about the tackling part, so maybe the bad guy might have gotten a little tussled...did not get that much information on that today except what I just said

Paula really get a good look at second egg. Earlier when we had a good pip on the one egg - I never said anything but there was like a
line on the other egg. Not a pip and not flugg. Something like a
pencil drawn line....

Jo, I think that very light line is probably a piece of grass stuck to the egg, or a stain from a piece of grass or hay...that's probably what we were seeing yesterday. I'll look at video again, but it doesn't record as well at night.

PER OUTDOOR....Yes, volume is back. Because of having audio issues the past few weeks, NCTC has it set to restart audio every hour, whether it's working at that time or not. That way, we don't have to have them go and do it manually. So, when it goes out again, just wait up to an hour. Thanks for everyone's patience with audio.

LOL Jo! Jack says to tell you I am ruthless! Actually, I only played Go Fish with Joseph. It was so funny 'cause Joseph would really carry on when I beat him but with a BIG smile on his face. And, of course, I carried on as well. We had fun!
Both are asleep and we have been discussing our camping in Colorado in June. We are amazed as Michael has made reservations for camping as well. We will see if Ashley actually goes through with it.

Laurel and the boys are on spring break.
We are heading to Rocky Mt. Natl Park outside Estes Park, Co. Jack and I pull a trailer, Laurel's family will be in a tent.
Perhaps I know you Hedgie---Used to live in Inwood and worked with Magpie.
Lolly--Rocky Mnt Natl is beautiful. I grew up 30 miles from Aspen.
Tomorrow we are heading to the Ft. Worth Nature Center. Going to do some outside fun, some hiking, just fun!
