Speaking of what Belle sees in the man-eagle-child if he gave Lib a run for his money she will see stronger breeding of young with the victor. I always thought eagles were monogamous but in the animal world itself isn't it true the strong will prevail? Why would it be any different in the eagle world if a competitor decided to step up and try to claim one that wasn't his... just my thoughts

I think we are all trying to figure that one out, DanaMo. It seems that they do not necessarily mate for life. We're learning a few things with the eagle cams.
New things have been learned through the bear cams, too. Just ask Jack Hanna. He got caught in a mistake on bear hibernation thanks to the Lily cam.

Thanks Stronghunter (I don't know everyone's names)for bringing those over. I posted mine both places just in case. I didn't think to copy and paste the last few posts to the new thread.
How do we define strong in the animal world? Sure the lad is a tad wet behing the ears but wasn't Belle and Lib at one time? With instinct he will learn hopefully not before Lib takes back over but if he doesn't we will all wait and see what kind of offspring he and Belle have.

Once it was done the sciatica stopped instantly. But with the psoriatic arthritis which the rheummy determined was the culprit it can happen again elsewhere :(
Shirley I hope your 'someday' soon comes for you. Leona - the quilts are all awesome..
All my TV shows were really worth watching! I am thinking for us it will be rain tomorrow.. Now our Westerport couple should have snow. I don't know what Bluefield is going to have.
This blog ROCKS! All of you newcomers have fallen right into stride with everyone - You have given us a whole new piece of conversation. Welcome Again!
Sharon - Is it going to snow in Bluefield tomorrow. You have a safe journey home - I know all the woof woofs are going to be greeting you! Happy that Sissy is on the mend now. Did you two really go out this evening for a little while? If you did I hope Sissy hit the bed as she got home.
shhh... I snuck back on, checked out all the quilts Leona, absolutely stunning!
and I loved Paula's Dinner Alone Video: complete with eating-crunching noises, and "spaghetti" strings...and I am pretty darn sure Belle licked her toes !!! Seriously ! LOL - Thanks Paula, one of your best!
I am sneaking right back out again...shhhh... Gooooood Night !
...and if you didn't know what "pulling a margy" is...you will now.. Yes Leona, a meal alone, simply amazing...wonder where she was when she polished off the first part of it ! It looked like part of it was gone when she brought it in...maybe?
'Night Night, you Night Owls... going to do a computer scan so I am really leaving now ! xo
I'd like to ask for prayers for my boss, Dr Julie Baker, and her family. I've mentioned her health issues, and they are getting worse.
Margy, so glad it was YOU this time with the Turder typo....I did the Turdy typo!
LEONA....OMG the quilts are amazing! I have a friend who quilts and I am always amazed by beautiful they are. You have made some masterpieces for sure!
Hi, Lynne, Hope you're still there...It has taken me forever to sort of catch up here! Left here earlier to get some lunch, and got VERY busy with Emma, so never got back here till a while after dinner.
Have been trying to slow Emma down, but nearly hafta throw her down and sit on her! She's finished her pain meds as of yesterday morning, and has a lot more energy now. Vet says to restrict her for another full week, so we won't be going to puppy class on Friday, or to the dog park.
Lynne, a week as of this morning. I wouldn't be so concerned for Emma, except that she is a regular psycho dog when she's loose. There's no containing her off-leash!
She seems to be healing well, but night before last while she was sitting in my lap, she let out a yipe. Don't know for sure what she did, because she was behaving at the time, but something hurt her. Haven't had her do that since, though. The vet says to wait another week before taking her off restriction, though. They know what a hyper hound she is!
Poor Emma...no park play:( Hope she's not mad at you, Andrea:)
Lynne, sorry that your boss isn't doing well...prayers for her. Are you speaking of the Vet?
Hope to see some photos of Jo and her family's celebration...on a Wednesday? Whatever...hope everyone has a good time. How could they not, being members of that terrific family:)
GEULA, I know that you jump on here before I do, so I wanted to say Thank You for the information on the situation in your Homeland. Our Pastor got home Wednesday and said everyone on the plane applauded when the wheels touched the USA ground! He said that despite all that was going on over there, they had a wonderful time.
Have read back as far as my earlier post today. Hope I can sort of catch up with folks.
PA Lynn, Welcome! Very nice to meet you, and glad you are here! OOooh~~ chocolate chip cookie dough!!! YUM!
Lynn, I'm glad that Mai has no ill effects from the exercise. Talked to our vet, and she recommends 1 more week of restricted activity in Emma's case. You cannot imagine what a whirlwind this pup is, though!
GrannieKay, Hi, welcome, and thanks for the "DOG" video--quite an amazing little fellow!
WV Dana, good to see you, too! Emma says thanks for the rub--she LOVES a good massage! I told her you suggested it...I agree that the story of Isla's chick is amazing, just like the old girl herself! No one can tell me that they don't recognize each other.
Have done a lot of reading comments on here this evening and our NEW FRIENDS are great. Love hearing their thoughts and opinions and how they have just jumped in with us on this blog, without missing a beat! Sounds like they are hear to stay! We have added one new state to our Momster line-up...Oklahoma. And then there is Bev, from Canada with all that snow (keep it up there, Bev!)
Sandman coming down the hallway...time to go.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS, OLD AND NEW SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS AND BLESSING FOR ALL
Oh, Lynne2, still praying for your boss. Sure hope things improve!
And thanks--I may survive another week with the hyper one! I swear, she would be a PERFECT flyball dog!
WANDA, no, she isn't mad at me. Hope I can say the same by the time another week is up!
I think I'm going to talk to the vet again tomorrow. I'm wondering if it would hurt to take her for a slow 15 or 20 minute walk. She might nap when we got home! Lynne, what do you think? I could try it, and if she gets too hyper, we could come back home.
Well, I need to upgrade my Flash Player so I can watch the live cam. Think I will say goodnight. JUDIE, thanks for the night light! I'm making sure the porch light is on. Saying prayers for everyone, and for all God's creatures. Enabling the eye-scanner security, and WV Dana's thumbprint-scanner security. Sleep well, everyone, and I will be back to chat tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o] P.S.~~TEAM LIBERTY!!!!!
Sorry Andy...I was into my email. Yes, she would be fine, I'm sure, going for a leash walk. A week is generally the restriction time on a spay dog. But your vet knows best...call him and ask. Like you said, if she gets too wound up, you can always take her back home!
That late night new thread must have been a surprise!
Leona - Gorgeous quilts! My fave quilt patterns are Fancy Fan and Jacob's Ladder and Log Cabin. Some of the newer patterns are beautiful too. They do so many tricks with your eyes the way they use the fabrics, even metallics these days. Thank you for sharing.
Paula - Thank YOU for the video of Belle eating dinner alone. Have not seen that in a long time. It was wonderful. I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't taped it, so thank you. It made me smile. :)
WANDA and some others mentioned a month ago or so about putting colored yarn pieces out in the yard for the birds to use in their spring nests. Question:
HOW LONG DO YOU MAKE/CUT the YARN PIECES FOR the BIRD'S NEST?
Just thought I'd help nature & it would be fun to see the colors and who picked up the yarn. :)
Kate is still working on rehabbing her back and it's not a fast process. Today is her birthday so, hoping to cheer her up, I put a birthday message up for her on the WE Nest page + a pic of her with Dalai and FloBear.
Speaking of dogs: ANDY give Emma an extra cookie from Auntie Lori. SHIRLEY, extra lovin and scratches for Luna, please. DanaMO I love your 3 dog avatar - it's adorable! THELMA - cute, cute BassettHound! What's the name? Co-worker rescues them from place in Hagarstown. ROBYN - 2 biscuits extra for Toby! PAULA - Nugz is already spoiled so whatever he needs & a kiss! :)
Hi Lori ! I'll keep you company for a while as we keep tabs on that still dark, quiet nest. Thanks again for having Hedgie get in touch. She and Lolly were fine tutors and wound up giving me an A+ for the "how to hightlight your blogging" lessons.
Leona, I must join the choir---your quilts are gorgeous ! One of my daughters is a quilter, a lovely asset to any family as we all have beautiful samples of her work.
@Lori-Thanks, those 3 are "triple trouble". Since my kids don't need me anymore it's a good thing I have the dogs(they are at the age that I am just a pain to them, they'll need me again). The dogs are Frisbee, Javalin and Boomerang.
Continuing to get light now at the nest...thanks to the sunrise getting earlier.
Hopefully we'll have another visit from Belle and likely followed by Rudy Tootie Inturder (Inturder, as Margy ID'd him yesterday). They've been appearing nearly every morning around 6:25.
Frisbee is our oldest lab, he is going to be 7. He is not related to the puppies, Boomer and Java are sister and brother and just turned 2. They are so funny and sooo mischievous.
I'm up and perched, pen and paper in hand.... hoping live feed will behave for me this morning !
No night shifts coming up for awhile for me Lori :(
Yes, Kay, we DO have some great teachers on here !
Best wishes for a good day everyone, remember I can't blog too much while live feed is going...sometimes...so if I don't come back to chat right away, that's why! xoxo ☺
Good morning to all who've joined in for the morning show !
Magpie, I do so appreciate the job you do once the eagles have landed ! You have a good eye for detail !
DanaMo, those dogs are soooo cute and I love their names, too. I no longer have a pet, but have a local granddog over for the day a couple of times a week. Malcolm is just a delightful mutt, but pets add so much to our lives as they become family members !
Oh phooey, I have to refresh the cam feed, hope I don't miss anything.
Yes, I love my dogs! I think a dog day or a pet day avatar would be great. I love hearing dog stories! I have so many to share with Labrador puppies! Boomerang eats socks and is always an adventure. I have seen many Pet ER's here on the east coast because of these pups! I always say having the two puppies that are siblings must be like with twin babies. It's so hard to watch them both at the same time and keep up with what trouble they are getting into!
By the way, we are the Brat Pack...watching for You Know Who... brat does not refer to us ☺
Good morning DanaMo, Susan now, with Lori and Kay...wonder if Geula is with us this morning ?? Thanks Kay, I'll try to spell Intruder right this morning !
Today's nest weather- A slight chance of rain or snow this morning...then rain this afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the lower 40s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent. morning everyone:)
That was a good showing. Nothing but harmony between them. I'm glad you're all here to chronical the nest events as they unfold. I can't watch and chew gum at the same time !
Yes, Truder did move that stick. He followed Belle's flight path out, to the left as we look at the screen. I think we saw beaking when Belle first joined him in the nest.
nest cup not nest cut.. Thanks Susan...my computer time is two mins ahead of the still nest cam...do you all see times on the live feed or are you using your computer ?? thanks
Okay, will give this a shot. I am using still cam times for the most part, they are going to differ from the blog posts by one or two mins:
Morning Nest Visit Mar 30, 2011:
6: 34 Truder arrives, lands at 10 am position, starts moving sticks, including the one in the middle of the nest from Tuesday, so he is in the Center of the nest 6:37 Belle arrives both working on original nest cup area, both moving sticks a little believe I saw beaking? at 6:37 Belle goes to bottom area of nest and Truder goes up near 10 o'clock spot Truder digs in the nest cup Belle moves a few little sticks 6:40 Belle leaves, but I did not see what direction she flew out to minute or so later, Truder leaves, flew out from the 10 0'clock spot The End
okay, so she left out to the right also - Thanks !! maybe headed to the river to find breakfast but they would have to circle around and go the other way (I think...)
Margy. I think you must show posts at different times than my computer.
My posts indicate 6:36 and 6:39 for T and Bs arrival. And 6:39 and 6:40 for B and Ts departure. I thought post went to blog on Blogger time. Is it different?
understand Susan...I am going off pretty much the still cams times..not sure which one is right! probably the computer and NOT the still cam...sorry about any confusion on that...
Should also add: No chirping, no noise, except the flutter of eagles' wings....
This has been a great experience. I have grieved over the loss of POJ with you. Watched as we thought Belle was defending her nest against a female intruder. Was there when the concerns for Liberty safety... when we realized the intruder was male. Now i am sharing what could possibly be Belle's new mate. I have been amazed at how you can tell the differents in the eagles. What a learning experience!
Dropping in quickly to say howdy. Took forever to update my computer, but now can see the live cam again. Missed the visit this morning, though, so thanks for the update!
May not be here much today--must study for a bear of an English exam! Still have a boatload of transcription to do for my Externship, too. Also need to go to school sometime this morning to get my student loan repackaged. Have definitely decided to do this Externship in TWO quarters, instead of just one!
Leona, checked out you quilts, and they are all beautiful!
Lori, I'll give Emma a peanut butter doggie cookie for you!
Margy, hope your work day is an easy one today, with nothing too crazy going on.
Well, gotta go get some breakfast and coffee. Will try to get back here later, when I take a break. Prayers that everyone has a good day! :o]
She was yesterday evening but hasn't gotten up yet this morning. I am afraid she may have done a little too much yesterday but hopefully not. I am heading home this evening.
I'm sorry I am not here much to comment and join in. With my work schedule it makes it difficult and then even harder to catch up reading all the daily comments. So, I see Belle seems to have taken up with the intruder bird. What about the mating for life theory? Am I to understand that Liberty has not been seen for awhile? Do you all think something has happened to him? :(
Paula. The egg cup was on the move yesterday. Can't imagine it will get used at this late hour though.
Aimeecat. I'm hoping Lib is in the wings (pun intended) and will reappear w a vengeance by next season. A girl can dream. Right now all we r seeing on the nest r Belle and Truder. We just will have to wait for the outcome..... Anxiously await!
I think Liberty will have moved on before next Spring, if he has lost the battle for Belle and this nesting area, instinct will lead him to attempt to find another mate. Here's another hummingbird tracking site, they are on the move- hummingbird migration maps
I'm right there with you Susan. I just don't think he feels threatened now that breeding season is over and come fall....watch out. It sure would be nice though is someone saw him.....wonder if Rita and Earl have internet??
Good Morning all!
Megan, I posted a Hummer map last night late...12:30ish I think. It's from the Journey website and people can report their sightings! It's pretty cool, they have them for eagles, robins, Monarchs...all kinds of stuff!
Good morning! You early birds do good reporting. No way I could get up at 5:30 to see the nest visit. Keep up the great work!
No one has actually been at the nest area for any long period of time to report if Lib is in the area or not. He has not been at the nest and that is all we know. I like to think he is still in the area.
It does appear that Belle and Truder are a couple, coming into the nest close together. Grrrrr!
TEAM LIBERTY!!!!! ( I still think we should have TEAM LIBERTY!! shirts made.) LOL

Just posted the link again on the quilts I hope. :)
Thanks DanaMo.
Thanks Stronghunter (I don't know everyone's names)for bringing those over. I posted mine both places just in case. I didn't think to copy and paste the last few posts to the new thread.
I guess Robyn, but from the outside looking in he didn't seem like he was that strong, but I guess he did keep Lib away.
Leona, your quilts are beautiful!
Well, didn't mean to bring over the new thread post.
Having all kinds of trouble here. Leona's post did not work for me. Obviously, it did for others.
Then I got an "Error 404" on Lynn's post. I never saw a 404 before. Breaking new ground here.
Now I'm really going to bed!
By the way I like Criminal Minds and Bones too besides NCIS, LA, NY.
thanks ladies
Leona, I just clicked on your name and it took me to your page and then I clicked on the quilts. So it got me there. Beautiful!

Bear Speak
I haven't made quilts for awhile. When my son came back home he took over my sewing room. :(
Thanks, WVdana. I finally figured it out, thanks to your help.
Beautiful quilts, Leona.
Wasn't that great seeing Belle by herself. I mean without T. Maybe he finally got the idea and left.
Thanks again everyone. I just thought you all would like to see them.
Leona...left comment on your blog.......fantastic!!!!

I did crocheting years ago when I was a stay-at-home mom. And painting. Tole painting and oil painting. But that was when I had two children and no job. Then I had twins . . . and life got complicated. And then it got more complicated . . .
Now I watch eagles.

All my TV shows were really worth watching! I am thinking for us it will be rain tomorrow.. Now our
Westerport couple should have snow.
I don't know what Bluefield is going to have.
This blog ROCKS! All of you newcomers have fallen right into stride with everyone - You have given us a whole new piece of conversation.
Welcome Again!
Sharon - Is it going to snow in Bluefield tomorrow. You have a safe
journey home - I know all the woof woofs are going to be greeting you!
Happy that Sissy is on the mend now.
Did you two really go out this evening
for a little while? If you did I hope Sissy hit the bed as she got home.
Thanks Mema Jo I think most have already called it a night.
Time for me to turn in and go down the hall to the pillows........
Good night everyone
Prayers for all
Hugs to all ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Night Mema Jo
shhh... I snuck back on,
checked out all the quilts Leona, absolutely stunning!
and I loved Paula's Dinner Alone Video: complete with eating-crunching noises, and "spaghetti" strings...and I am pretty darn sure Belle licked her toes !!! Seriously !
LOL - Thanks Paula, one of your best!
I am sneaking right back out again...shhhh...
Gooooood Night !
Don't hang out too late Leona - I'm
sure Miss Sophia wants some attention.
Night and I'll tune in tomorrow.....
Thanks magpie I also loved seeing her enjoy a meal without T.
Oh I won't. Night Mema Jo
oh, good Robyn, no more sciatica, but the other stuff, sorry to hear of it...
:(
If anyone is still there I am heading out also... Catch you tomorrow afternoon.
CAUGHT YOU MARGIE
...and if you didn't know what "pulling a margy" is...you will now..
Yes Leona, a meal alone, simply amazing...wonder where she was when she polished off the first part of it ! It looked like part of it was gone when she brought it in...maybe?
'Night Night, you Night Owls...
going to do a computer scan so I am really leaving now !
xo
I look at it this way magpie, I am alive, I have a good life, great daughter, healthy for the most part lol so no worries
AND I HOPE I CAUGHT YOU TOO JO ! XOXOX ♥
Good night Jo
Amen, Robyn !
That's good to hear...a nice way to end the evening...well, it's tomorrow now !
The First Day of the Rest of Our Lives
wow, I guess most are gone....what a day.
Belle's fish video is just ScrumpDiddlyIcious!
the Hummers are a comin'
Ruby Throated Hummingbird citizen sightings map
Hi, Lynne,
Hope you're still there...It has taken me forever to sort of catch up here!
Hey Andy! It's been over a week now hasn't it?
Lynne, a week as of this morning. I wouldn't be so concerned for Emma, except that she is a regular psycho dog when she's loose. There's no containing her off-leash!
She seems to be healing well, but night before last while she was sitting in my lap, she let out a yipe. Don't know for sure what she did, because she was behaving at the time, but something hurt her. Haven't had her do that since, though.
The vet says to wait another week before taking her off restriction, though. They know what a hyper hound she is!
Poor Emma...no park play:(
Hope she's not mad at you, Andrea:)
He said that despite all that was going on over there, they had a wonderful time.
well, the vet knows best! I hope YOU can last another week!
Yes Wanda, the vet.
what happened in Israel? I haven't seen the news for days and days....
oh never mind....I think I heard there was a bombing in Jerusalem but I didn't catch the details.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS, OLD AND NEW
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS AND BLESSING FOR ALL
Oh, Lynne2, still praying for your boss.
G'night, Wanda! Sleep tight!
P.S.~~TEAM LIBERTY!!!!!
Sorry Andy...I was into my email. Yes, she would be fine, I'm sure, going for a leash walk. A week is generally the restriction time on a spay dog. But your vet knows best...call him and ask. Like you said, if she gets too wound up, you can always take her back home!
Going to bed....see you in the morrow!
Good Morning in Eagle Land!
Today is her birthday so, hoping to cheer her up, I put a birthday message up for her on the
WE Nest page + a pic of her with Dalai and FloBear.
Speaking of dogs:
ANDY give Emma an extra cookie from Auntie Lori.
It is a dark, empty nest again this morning.
Wish we had stronger infrared. Won't it be a surprise one late night/early morning to see Belle in the nest?
Has anyone seen LIB around NCTC campus lately?
Shower time. Have a great and safe day everyone. Oh, Lynne, sorry about your boss. Prayers for all in need. ((((hugs)))
Hours later and still the only one here. I miss my early morning Margy. Magpie are you changing shifts again anytime soon?
NEST IS STILL DARK AND UNEVENTFUL AT THIS HOUR.
Okay, Belle, you can show up anytime now !
@Lori-Thanks, those 3 are "triple trouble". Since my kids don't need me anymore it's a good thing I have the dogs(they are at the age that I am just a pain to them, they'll need me again). The dogs are Frisbee, Javalin and Boomerang.
Waiting for the morning visit.
Good Morning Kay - SO HAPY to have you here...
and, DANAmo.
Dana, those babies (tripple trouble dogs) are adorable! Great names! Are they all related?
Frisbee is our oldest lab, he is going to be 7. He is not related to the puppies, Boomer and Java are sister and brother and just turned 2. They are so funny and sooo mischievous.
Kay I knew Lynn/Hedgie would not let you down. She was my links and bolding tutor as well! :)
Hey, DanaMo we should have a dog day avatar so we can see each others pets!
Of course I hope we would also have a cat avatar day then. :)
Good Morning, Morning Eagle Pals
I'm up and perched, pen and paper in hand....
hoping live feed will behave for me this morning !
No night shifts coming up for awhile for me Lori :(
Yes, Kay, we DO have some great teachers on here !
Best wishes for a good day everyone, remember I can't blog too much while live feed is going...sometimes...so if I don't come back to chat right away, that's why!
xoxo ☺
Good morning eagle peeps. Any time now. Hahaha
OK Hang on Belle, I'm taking a balcony break -
BIAM
Yes, I love my dogs! I think a dog day or a pet day avatar would be great. I love hearing dog stories! I have so many to share with Labrador puppies! Boomerang eats socks and is always an adventure. I have seen many Pet ER's here on the east coast because of these pups! I always say having the two puppies that are siblings must be like with twin babies. It's so hard to watch them both at the same time and keep up with what trouble they are getting into!
Okay first 14.35 second refresh accomplished !
Where is Belle, it's 6:30?
I'm afraid to leave the visits are so brief!
Good morning Kay, Susan and Magpie. Here we are waiting...You haven't missed anything Lori, no show yet!
EaGlE oN nEsT ♥♥
♥♥ ;o}
And it's T in the nest.
There's the brat!
EAGLE IN THE NEST. INTRUDER ....
Truder just flew in !
Getting right at nest rearrangement !
Today's nest weather- A slight chance of rain or snow this morning...then rain this afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the lower 40s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
morning everyone:)
moving sticks...
HE'S JUST MOVING STICKS - NO BELLE YET
And here's Belle!
Finally moved that stick
Now B flew in
BELLE JUST FLEW IN now there's both BELLE & INTRUDER
6:38 and there's Belle. They are looking pretty cozy with each other!
Both working egg cup.
SURE DO LOOK LIKE THEY ARE WORKING ON MAKING A NEST CUP
T loves to sit n the cup
B flies off
Belle gone...now Rudy.
T Flies off
T WAS MORE INTERESTED IN EGG CUP THAN BELLE.
Gotta go wake the kids and get ready for the kindergartners! Have a great day everyone!
That was a good showing. Nothing but harmony between them. I'm glad you're all here to chronical the nest events as they unfold. I can't watch and chew gum at the same time !
Practice, Kay, practice is all it takes.
sUSAn you and I seem to be observing exactly the same thing in the nest.
stinking darn live feed !
But I got some viewing, had to go to still cam to see what was to happen before I saw on live feed
Did I see beaking ?
and, what direction did Belle fly out to? I saw Truder go off to the left?
Please and thanks...
that stick in the middle is gone...did Truder move that one?
He was picking on bigger sticks this morning
Thanks Megan for the weather, liked yesterday's better !
Hi JudyE
I'll do a little report but the times are going to be off a little !
I'm gonna throttle the dinosaur!
Have a good day everyone. Best wishes for a safe and happy day.
Gotta run with busy hour coming up.
wish they had made more noise...
Yes, Truder did move that stick. He followed Belle's flight path out, to the left as we look at the screen. I think we saw beaking when Belle first joined him in the nest.
6:36 for Ts arrival and 6:39 for B.
A tad later than yesterday at 6:34 and 6:35.
B flew out at 6:42 and T flew at 6:43.
I thought maybe the spaghetti dinner at the nest yesterday may have thrown them off schedule. But no, right on time.
Thanks for the weather Megan
Now to catch some action n Scotland before going to work.
almost looks, like a new little nest cut bowl in the bottom right of the nest near 5 o'clock spot ... just a mirage maybe
gorgeous violet sky colors approaching sunrise !
nest cup not nest cut..
Thanks Susan...my computer time is two mins ahead of the still nest cam...do you all see times on the live feed or are you using your computer ??
thanks
Lori:
Happy Birthday wishes for Kate - hope it is good day for her ☺
Sorry I can't help with the timing question, Magpie. Others who watched seem to have flown the coop !
I don't see the possible nest cup you mentioned, but the sun is shining so brightly on the nest right now it's hard to pick up much definition.
Okay, will give this a shot.
I am using still cam times for the most part, they are going to differ from the blog posts by one or two mins:
Morning Nest Visit Mar 30, 2011:
6: 34 Truder arrives, lands at 10 am position,
starts moving sticks, including the one in the middle of the nest from Tuesday, so he is in the Center of the nest
6:37 Belle arrives
both working on original nest cup area, both moving sticks a little
believe I saw beaking? at 6:37
Belle goes to bottom area of nest and Truder goes up near 10 o'clock spot
Truder digs in the nest cup
Belle moves a few little sticks
6:40 Belle leaves, but I did not see what direction she flew out to
minute or so later, Truder leaves, flew out from the 10 0'clock spot
The End
hope someone can add:
What direction did Belle fly out to ?
Time to get ready for work
Hope the weather does not present any problems..
Especially for the Easter Egg plans at Jo's today !
Best wishes and prayers, for a good day
xoxo ♥
You nailed it again, Magpie, in spite of the dinosaur. Truder followed Belle's exact flight path in leaving the nest.
Time for me to read some newspapers.
Have a good day everyone !!!!
agree, Kay...hard to pick up definition...
just where the little leaves? seem to be accumulating down near 5 o'clock spot
We are waiting on sun here !
okay gotta go, bye ! ☺
okay, so she left out to the right also - Thanks !!
maybe headed to the river to find breakfast but they would have to circle around and go the other way (I think...)
Sorry! Make that, she left out to the LEFT also !!
They come and go so quietly. And quickly.
Ohhh it's raining n Scotland. Imagine that. Ha. No ospreys to b seen. Hope they r seeking shelter... And looking for their boys!
EJ is hauling n some logs at LG
Great observations, folks. You can see that someone has been in the nest, as that stick in the middle is gone now.
Margy. I go by post times on Blogger when we r posting immediate sitings.
EJ is cracking me up this morning, my only time to catch those nests n daylight. Gotta soak it up while I can.
Good Morning, Gang!
I forgot what I meant to say Thank you all!
Good morning my eagle budlets. Things are kind of quiet.
Is Sissy feeling any better Sharon?
She was yesterday evening but hasn't gotten up yet this morning. I am afraid she may have done a little too much yesterday but hopefully not. I am heading home this evening.
She is up now, has a funny sensation in her esophagus but otherwise feeling okay I think.
ANDY - I'm calling Emma later to see if you really gave her that PD treat from me. lol
Should been P"B" for peanut butter treat! Woof!
Sharon, I don't have a sister, but you are a great one to Sissy/Bev. She's blessed to have you. Safe travels tonight.
Good Morning Lori, Kay, Leona, DanaMo,Margy, WVSusan, JudyE, Megan, Paula, Teresa, Andy, Sharon and Lurkers.
Good morning, everyone.
Off to get my "do" did so wishing a wonderful day for all.
Morning all,
I'm sorry I am not here much to comment and join in. With my work schedule it makes it difficult and then even harder to catch up reading all the daily comments.
So, I see Belle seems to have taken up with the intruder bird. What about the mating for life theory? Am I to understand that Liberty has not been seen for awhile? Do you all think something has happened to him? :(
Glad Sissy is doing well continue prayers.
Judie good to see you in. Don't think Darth has to take you for your do. Since you are getting along so well. Happy Happy ( :
Lori prayers for Kate's rehab continue. Tell her Happy Birthday.
Lynne2 prayers for you boss Julie and family.
Aimeecat what is you real name? So glad you join us. Keep coming back.
I have an early dental appt. so I have to go see you all later.
Bird alert, but not an eagle. Nuthatch in the nest.
Megan I think you may be right and it's all so hard to say from a nest view. I'm hoping she's cavorting down by the river with the Lib man. Lol
Lori, love your avatar of Lib kicking Truder's ass!!
Happy birthday to Kate! I sure hope she isn't in too much misery with her back.
ooops...potty mouth. I'll put a quarter in the Cuss Cup.
Going to change my avatar to one of my pets.....what a good idea to have a pet avatar week! I'll have to have a new one almost every day.
Good Morning Everyone - Letting you know that I won't be here much today.
Having daughter, gd, and ggchildren visiting.
Happy Birthday Kate - My wishes
for you are for good health to return
and stay forever
I will play catch up late this afternoon. Take care and watch those
eagles & ospreys.......
Thanks for the responses ladies.
wvgal_dana: my real name is Debbie :)
Glad you knew what kind of bird that was, Sharon. He came singing into the nest and then my cam stopped.
